Minnesota’s New ‘LGBT Education Specialist’ Thinks Teachers Should ‘Explain Nonbinary Identities’ To Preschoolers
Joe Rogan sees something in this boycott that no one else sees
Joe Rogan might see something in the Bud Light boycott that no one else sees.
In a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Rogan discusses the Bud Light boycott with fellow comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir.
While his three guests believe people will forget about Bud Light’s campaign with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Rogan disagrees.
“There’s never been a brand that’s been hit like this before. This is a big deal,” Rogan said.
According to the New York Post, Bud Light sales have just suffered their worst week ever, with a fall of 25.7%. This follows a 24.6% drop in sales just last week, and the sixth consecutive week sales have plummeted since the Mulvaney campaign went public on April 1.
Dave Rubin has seen the stats and agrees with Rogan, saying “I don’t think Bud Light is coming back from this in any functional way, any time soon.”
However, Shane Gillis is convinced that Pride Month will save Bud Light.
“I swear to God, though, they’re going to get saved this month. Every single company on earth is going to do a gay commercial, all of June,” Gillis says.
While both Rubin and Rogan believe the bleeding will not stop for Bud Light, Rubin agrees that most companies will still be doing their best to seem like LGBTQ allies.
“We know it’s coming,” Rubin says.
But some have already been facing backlash.
According to the Daily Wire, Target is now coming under fire for donating more than $2.1 million to GLSEN — a company that supports “affirming learning environments for LGBTQ youth” and activates “supportive educators.”
GLSEN is even actively promoted in Target’s online store.

Kohl's and Target exposed for pouring money into LGBT group that seeks to indoctrinate children with gender ideology and undermine parental rights
Retail chains Target and Kohl's are presently facing conservative "Bud-lighting" boycotts for targeting children with LGBT activist apparel. It appears that kids' fashion is not the only thing these woke companies seek to change.
Kohl's and Target have both poured significant amounts of money into an organization that pushes gender ideology on children as well as policies that undermine parental rights.
GLSEN
The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network is a New York-based organization that promotes gender ideology and sex-change acceptance in K-12 schools throughout the country.
The group appears committed to:
- transforming teachers into LGBT doctrinaires;
- incorporating gender ideology and pro-sex-change content into school curricula as a means of raising "the awareness of all students";
- pressuring schools to implement activist-approved policies, thereby ensuring classrooms accommodate their social-constructivist dogmas; and
- weaponizing student-led clubs to buttress their pressure campaigns.
Where indoctrination is concerned, GLSEN insists that "students of all ages must be given an opportunity to learn that the words 'gay,' 'lesbian,' and 'transgender' are adjectives that should be used with respect" and that "it is never too early for schools to set up a foundation of understanding and respect" for non-straight sexual preferences.
Fox News Digital reported that one of the books in GLSEN's "Rainbow Library," provided to ideologically compliant schools free of charge, is titled, "Beyond Magenta."
Here is an excerpt from this particular book, which describes a 6-year-old child as "sexually mature": "I was sexually mature. What I mean by sexually mature is that I knew about sex. From six and up, I used to kiss other guys in my neighborhood, make out with them, and perform oral sex on them. I liked it. I used to love oral. And I touched their you-know-whats. We were really young, but that's what we did ..."
In addition to peddling LGBT propaganda that sexualizes children, the organization also pushes for elementary school children to "explore" their "gender identity and expression"; transvestic boys to be included in girls' sports; teachers to teach that sex and gender are distinct; and the use of false pronouns from an earlier age.
GLSEN also seeks for gender ideology to be integrated into all subjects, including math.
In addition to sowing confusion, the organization insists on keeping kids' primary sources of clarity in the dark.
The Daily Caller highlighted a GLSEN guide from 2022, in which the organization stressed the importance of teachers hiding information about a student's so-called "gender identity" from parents and guardians.
"The fact that a student chooses to use a different name, to transition at school, or to disclose their gender identity to staff, educators, or other students does not authorize school staff to disclose a student's personally identifiable or medical information to anyone," says the report.
According to Parents Defending Education, GLSEN "uses a 'youth safety' message to achieve political goals."
Melanie Willingham-Jaggers, the executive director of GLSEN, said in a January 2022 interview, "LGBTQ+ young people in schools and their student groups, like GSAs, have always been the hub, kind of the breeding ground, the soil from which these sparks of activism come up," adding, "What we understand is that young people — period — are going to help us understand the vision forward and the way forward to the future."
Kohl's and Target pay to undermine parental rights and normalcy
The company states on its corporate DEI page, "We're proud to partner with GLSEN for more than a decade, working to ensure all students have a safe place to learn. Target annually supports GLSEN and its mission to create affirming, accessible and antiracist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students."
Fox News Digital reported that Target has donated at least $2.1 million to the indoctrination group.
Kohl's, which has over 1,100 stores in 49 states, announced in December that it had doled out $5 million to various groups. Among these groups was GLSEN, which Kohl's awarded a $35,000 grant.
The company indicated that these funds would go toward "the organization’s Education and Youth Services initiatives, which produce research-based tools that enhance educator and student capacity to create the kinds of respectful affirming and LGBTQIA+ inclusive classrooms and schools that every child deserves."
TheBlaze previously reported that Kohl's underscored in its 2022 ESG report that it is in the business of woke evangelization, stating, "We believe embedding DEI in everything we do requires an ongoing journey of listening, learning, and taking action."
The corporate leadership behind Kohl's is not interested in just selling toddler-wear inscribed with transsexual slogans, but "embracing opportunities to address racial, gender, sexual orientation, and economic disparities."
One of the company's stated goals is to commit $20 million "to diverse communities from 2022 to 2025," including members of the so-called "LGBTQIA+" community, noting it had already committed roughly $8 million of that goal last year.
The two companies appear have been rewarded for their carriage of LGBT activist gear and financial support of gender ideology in schools.
Forbes noted that Kohl's was ranked as a top 50 company last year on DiversityInc's Top Companies for LGBTQ Employees, "the standard metric in ESG reports on the internal policies of a company." Target was ranked #4.
Both companies were also recognized for their compliance with perfect Corporate Equality Index scores from the Human Rights Campaign, a powerful LGBT lobby group.
Willingham-Jaggers, who calls herself "non-binary," is upset that her outfit, which undoubtedly aided with the woke companies' ESG scores, is now being scrutinized. She claimed over the weekend that recent efforts to highlight GLSEN's indoctrination efforts and the organization's ties with big businesses amounted to "attacks."
Willingham-Jaggers said in a statement, "These recent attacks from right-wing extremists show how important and necessary the work that we do is."
The GLSEN executive director added, "We cannot let a violent, angry minority hold our democracy, our school system, or our community hostage. As GLSEN and LGBTQ+ people continue to face attacks, we’re committed to our mission and to the students that rely on us, and we’ll continue to fight to ensure that every single student can go to school free from fear."
Another LGBT activist outfit, GLAAD, similarly got its dander up about GLSEN's exposure.
GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said, "Right-wing media spread dangerous lies about GLSEN yesterday and put a target on them. ... The inaccurate and hateful attacks on our friends at GLSEN are reprehensible."
It is unclear whether Willingham-Jaggers and Ellis regard quotes from their organizations' materials as constituting "attacks."

Target continues to get castigated over its ties to controversial LGBTQ organizations and partners. Many Americans have found Target's partnerships so incendiary that there have been widespread boycotts of the big-box retail chain.
A Target boycott was organized after it was revealed that the retailer sells products from a designer promoting Satanism, LGBTQ onesies for babies, peddles "tuck-friendly" bathing suits, and drag queen books for young children.
As TheBlaze reported earlier this week, Target boasted of having a partnership with the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network for over a decade.
"GLSEN leads the movement in creating affirming, accessible and anti-racist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students," Target declared on its website. "We are proud of 10+ years of collaboration with GLSEN and continue to support their mission."
Laysha Ward, executive vice president and chief corporate social responsibility officer for Target, said in 2015, "Target and GLSEN share a belief that all children deserve the opportunity to learn and thrive in a safe environment. The voices and stories of the students and educators in this documentary show how far we’ve come as a nation and give us hope that all students can reach their full potential and be proud of who they are."
Fox News reported, "To date, the retail giant has donated at least $2.1 million to GLSEN, which offers districts and students guidance on how to hide gender transitions from parents."
GLSEN proclaims that it has a mission of "creating affirming learning environments for LGBTQ youth," providing "evidence-based solutions" for K-12 educators, and advising schools on policies "designed to protect LGBTQ students as well as students of marginalized identities."
"GLSEN has also opposed efforts by legislators to ban LGBTQ books with sexually explicit themes," according to the New York Post.
Fox News said, "GLSEN calls for gender ideology to be integrated into all classes, even math. It provides educators instructions on how they can make math 'more inclusive of trans and non-binary identities' by including 'they/them' pronouns in word problems."
The GLSEN blog advises math teachers on its blog, "When students are creating their own surveys, if they want to include data for biological sex, teachers need to be sure they include both intersex and other as choices, and if the students want to include data for gender, a variety of choices need to be included, such as agender, genderfluid, female, male, nonbinary, transman, transwoman, and other."
GLSEN demands that "mathematics teachers need to be respectful of students’ names and pronouns, they need to be sure their classes do not alienate any students, and they need to support LGBTQ activities such as Day of Silence, Trans Awareness Week, and Ally Week."
The LGBTQ advocacy education group provided lesson plans from a transgender science teacher.
"It took me three years of teaching middle-school science before feeling comfortable enough to come out to my students as a trans man," the GLSEN website reads. "We were starting a unit focused on how identity impacts the practice of science, including the ways that specific groups are marginalized by normative ideas about who does science and how that changes what science does."
The transgender teacher shared personal experiences with the students of "being a trans person in science, including what it was like to teach science as someone perceived as female."
The teacher taught students the "ways that trans people are often erased by the language used by scientists and medical professionals to describe bodies, patients, and health practices."
GLSEN provides school districts with a "Model Local Education Agency Policy on Transgender and Nonbinary Students," which it claims will "ultimately make schools safer, affirming, and more inclusive for transgender and nonbinary students, particularly those who are also black, brown, Latinx, indigenous, and/or people with disabilities, who should have the same access to a quality education as their peers."
The LGBTQ organization prescribes that school staff should not reveal a student's gender identity transition to anyone – even to their parents.
GLSEN advocates school districts to "ensure that all personally identifiable and medical information relating to transgender and nonbinary students is kept confidential in accordance with applicable state, local, and federal privacy laws͘."
"Staff or educators shall not disclose any information that may reveal a student’s gender identity to others, including parents or guardians and other staff, unless the student has authorized such disclosure, the information is contained in school records requested by a parent or guardian, or there is another compelling need," the website reads.
Following the reporting of the partnership between Target and the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, the LGBTQ org blamed "right-wing extremists."
"GLSEN’s mission is to create safe, inclusive learning environments for K-12 students, and these recent attacks from right-wing extremists show how important and necessary the work that we do is," said GLSEN Executive Director Melanie Willingham-Jaggers – who identifies with the pronouns they/she. "We are seeing the far right harass companies in an attempt to erase the LGBTQ+ community. We cannot let a violent, angry minority hold our democracy, our school system, or our community hostage. As GLSEN and LGBTQ+ people continue to face attacks, we’re committed to our mission and to the students that rely on us, and we’ll continue to fight to ensure that every single student can go to school free from fear."

Pro-LGBT group to host conference for kids at a church in Florida, drag show included
A pro-LGBT organization is slated to host a conference for kids ages 12 to 18 at the Naples United Church of Christ in Florida on Saturday.
"GLSEN Collier is hosting the inaugural Youth Pride Conference in Naples, FL for all local LGBTQ youth ages 12-18," a post about the event states. "This one-day conference, created by and for LGBTQ youth, will provide students with the opportunity to engage in LGBTQ-related issues facing them today while empowering them to be confident in all their identities."
The event will include a drag show.
"It's no different than what you'd find at a local Naples Pride or Fort Myers Pride or Cape Coral Pride event that families are at all the time. I take my 3- and 4-year-old sons to these because they're fun and entertaining," Daniel Selvey Shaw said, according to the Naples Daily News. "They're making it sound like a drag show that is this big taboo show."
Shaw — who is the conference director and belongs to the GLSEN Collier board, according to the event description posted on Eventbrite — said that the conference was planned with students, the outlet noted.
One of the breakout sessions available for attendees will include, "Inclusive Sex Education," featuring a presenter from Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, according to the conference description.
A registration form states that "this is an event hosted by GLSEN Collier and is not affiliated with Naples United Church of a Christ or Collier County Public Schools. GLSEN Collier is a nonprofit organization that works to provide a safe and inclusive environment for our marginalized students, particularly those who identify as LGBTQ."
The form also notes that there will be transportation available. "Free Shuttle Transportation is available to/from Immokalee and Golden Gate areas," the form says.
"We lease the space. We paid for the personnel. While the church absolutely supports the mission of our organization, they are simply facilitators by reason of the rental agreement we've entered into," Shaw said, according to the Naples Daily News.
