Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is about to learn a hard lesson.
“Every human being has the legal right to come to the United States and seek asylum or shelter,” Wu said in an old podcast. “They are looking to work, looking to contribute, looking to be in a safe democracy where they can raise their families,” she added.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has failed to secure the border, and 3.2 million illegal immigrants were encountered by CBP in FY 2023, which is a 16% increase over FY 2022 and a 63% increase over FY 2021.
Keith Malinak has a message for not just Wu, but Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas (R) as well.
“Greg Abbott, if you’re watching, it sounds like Boston is ready for some busloads of illegals,” Malinak says.
Pat Gray is in serious agreement.
“Exactly,” he responds. “Man, does she need thousands to pour into her city.”
Gray notes that Wu's belief that “every human” has the “legal right” to live in our country must mean that she wouldn’t mind if they were all in Boston.
Eric Adams also once advocated for illegal immigrants to call America their home — before Abbott sent busloads of migrants his way.
“He changed that tune a bit,” Gray says.
“He’s also now pointing out how it’s obvious that these immigrants who come here, they don’t have jobs, they’re committing crimes up there,” Malinak adds, noting that Adams should have known this, as New York City is a sanctuary city.
