Harrison Butker says he will vote for the 'most pro-life' candidate for president when asked if he endorses Trump

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker appeared to indicate he would vote for former President Donald Trump while appearing on Fox News on Thursday.

Butker was endorsing Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Ohio when he was asked whether he would also endorse Trump.

Leftists immediately excoriated Butker as a racist and misogynist.

"I'm supporting the president that's going to be the most pro-life president," he responded. "That's the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn. That's what we should prioritize."

When asked a second time if he was voting for Trump, he again responded in a roundabout way.

"I think you have to vote for whoever is going to be the most pro-life," the kicker said.

Butker became a target of the left and a darling of the right after he endorsed more traditional roles for women and men during a graduation speech at Benedictine College, a small Catholic school, in May. He also interjected other conservative values into his speech.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you,” Butker said. “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.”

Leftists immediately excoriated Butker as a racist and misogynist while those on the right praised him for speaking out on traditional values. Despite the hateful rhetoric on social media, Butker merchandise skyrocketed in sales soon afterward. In August, the Chiefs made Butker the highest-paid NFL kicker of all time.

Trump has said he would oppose a national ban on abortion, but he has taken credit for putting justices on the Supreme Court that led to the overturn of Roe vs. Wade.

Bill Maher stuns liberal audience when he AGREES with Harrison Butker’s speech

Harrison Butker’s commencement speech has angered leftists across the country, but some unlikely characters have come out in support of the Kansas City Chiefs kicker.

Butker spent his speech talking about the beauty of motherhood, how grateful he is for his wife, and promoting what Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" calls “basic stuff.”

“Being a mother, raising a family, being a decent person, and how that’s kind of better than perhaps the bill of goods that so many women have been sold,” Rubin says, summarizing Butker’s speech.

Even Bill Maher, an atheist and lifelong bachelor who has made it known he doesn’t care for children, agrees with Butker’s speech.

“I don’t see what the big crime is. I really don’t. And I think this is part of the problem people have with the left is that lots of people in this country are like this,” Maher began.

“He’s saying some of you may go on to lead successful careers, but a lot of you are excited about this other way that people, everybody used to be, and now can’t that just be a choice too?” Maher continued.

“And I feel like they feel very put upon, like there’s only one way to be a good person and that’s to get an advanced degree from one of those factories like Harvard,” he added.

Rubin has come to expect these sane liberal takes from Maher and isn’t surprised he got this one right too.

“Bill gets it. So, that’s the good news there. The average liberal sees that, knows that these are inherent truths that we all know,” he says.

NFL star’s based anti-Biden, anti-abortion speech ENRAGES the left

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker gave a commencement speech at Benedictine College — and the content of that speech has blown many on the right away, as well as drawn the ire of many on the left.

“Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally. He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I’m sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice,” Butker said.

“He is not alone. From the man behind the COVID lockdowns to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common — they are Catholic,” he continued.

Allie Beth Stuckey is impressed, to say the least.

“I’m not Catholic, but I appreciate how he is describing the discrepancy between what some Catholics do, especially in the highest levels of government,” she says. “As a Protestant, there are many people on my side who call themselves Christians, and yet they are pro-choice.”

According to Pew Research, only 42% of Catholics believe that abortion should be illegal in most or all cases, versus 55% of Protestants.

Butker didn’t stop at abortion.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you. How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and thinking about all the promotions and titles you’re going to get in your career?” he said, before highlighting the importance and beauty of motherhood.

Now, a petition has been created on Change.org, demanding that the Kansas City Chiefs dismiss him for discriminatory remarks. The petition now has almost 200,000 signatures.

“Apparently it was homophobic, anti-trans, anti-abortion, and racist,” Stuckey says. “You don’t have to keep selling me on it.”
