Evolutionary biologist perfectly predicts Claudine Gay’s disgraceful resignation
Colin Wright is an evolutionary biologist, academic advisor for the Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine, and a fellow at the Manhattan Institute.
And he’s also a clairvoyant apparently.
In a December 19 tweet, Wright perfectly predicted the manner in which former Harvard President Claudine Gay would resign:
Earlier this week, that’s exactly what Gay did — stepped down from her lofty position and cited “racial animus” as the reason for her departure rather than the flagrant disregard for anti-Semitism on Harvard’s campus or the plagiarism scandal in which she was caught.
Dave Rubin shares some of Gay’s resignation letter.
“It has been distressing to have doubt cast on my commitments to confronting hate and to upholding scholarly rigor–two bedrock values that are fundamental to who I am–and frightening to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus.”
Gay also published an op-ed in the New York Times in which she claimed that the "campaign against" her was part of a larger plan to attack "education and expertise" and that the people who wanted to oust her "recycled tired racial stereotypes about Black talent and temperament."
“She did exactly what you predicted, Colin,” says Dave.
“It's not difficult to predict when you observe how these types of identitarians work,” says Colin. “So remember, the objective of ideologies like CRT is not to ask whether racism occurred but really how and to what extent a given interaction was fueled by racism. ... They believe it's just baked into every social interaction imaginable.”

This might be the craziest lie ever told on CNN
In the wake of Claudine Gay’s resignation, many people have chosen to defend the former Harvard president despite the rampant anti-Semitism on Harvard’s campus as well as multiple accusations of plagiarism in various written works produced by Gay.
One such person is CNN’s Matt Egan.
“We should note that Claudine Gay has not been accused of stealing anyone's ideas in any of her writings; she's been accused of sort of copying other people's writings without attribution,” Egan stated, laying out the very definition of plagiarism.
“This might be the most insane thing ever uttered on cable news,” says Dave Rubin.
“She didn't steal; she just stole,” mocks Dave.
“You do not hate journalists enough; you really don't.”

Elise Stefanik says Harvard investigation is just beginning: 'I believe ... we will uncover what will be the greatest scandal in higher education.'
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) — who last month led the House Education Committee’s questioning of the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and the University of Pennsylvania — went on Fox News yesterday to discuss Claudine Gay’s resignation and what she believes the aftermath will look like.
According to Stefanik, the investigation into Harvard will not end with Gay’s resignation. In fact, her resignation is just the beginning.
“This congressional investigation is not going to stop because of the resignation of these university presidents. There is deep institutional rot in these formerly prestigious universities, whether it's their DEI offices or whether it's the anti-Semitism that we see raging on college campuses,” Stefanik said.
“These colleges get billions of taxpayer dollars, and I believe, as we continue our congressional investigation, that we will uncover what will be the greatest scandal in higher education because the Harvard Corporation members themselves are complicit in this cover-up of her plagiarism and again, most importantly, their failure to protect Jewish students on campus.”
“That’s the right spirit — you get a win and you keep going,” says Dave Rubin, who’s impressed with Stefanik’s tenacity.
“How much discrimination against Jewish students, Asian students, white students have they been doing over the years? Did they get a whole bunch of professors who were not qualified ... and a whole bunch more who had all sorts of awful ideas related to Marxism and Communism and wokeism ... while they took good professors out?”

Claudine Gay's resignation letter deserves all the mockery it's getting
Harvard may have been standing behind Claudine Gay, but that hasn’t stopped her from resigning.
The now former president previously came under fire for alleged plagiarism as well as her claim that anti-Semitic hate speech was protected under free speech.
But the media has already started to spin the story of her resignation, accusing conservatives of now setting their sights on attacking plagiarism — which is as ridiculous as it sounds.
Glenn Beck shared a mock version of Gay's resignation letter to reveal what she likely meant to say.
In the fake resignation letter read by Glenn, Gay said: “I am not a crook. I repeat, I did not have plagiaristic relations with that paper. Instead, I only had a dream. A dream where Harvard students will one day live in a nation where they’d be judged not by the color of their skin but the content of their character.”
The fake letter continued: “But today is not that day. Instead, I’ve been subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus.”
The fake letter then humorously closed with several famous quotes: “So, ask not what your university can do for you, ask what you can do for your university, because life moves pretty fast and if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. So, here’s looking at you, kid, and Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”
“All her original ideas,” Glenn laughs.

Why is Harvard's president allowed to keep her job after flagrant anti-Semitism AND plagiarism violations?
The Harvard board is promising to let Harvard president Claudine Gay keep her job despite multiple scandals.
Not only has Gay been criticized for failing to say that calls for Jewish genocide violate Harvard’s policies — but she broke Harvard’s own code of conduct on plagiarism.
“And it’s a pretty significant amount of plagiarism,” Glenn Beck comments, adding, “including her doctoral dissertation.”
The doctoral dissertation contained parts that were wholly plagiarized, and the Harvard president never credited anyone.
“This has nothing to do with her testimony, but it has everything to do with how corrupt our universities are, how morally corrupt they are,” Glenn explains.
Washington Free Beacon staff writer Aaron Sibarium, who went to Yale and was the editor of the Yale Daily News, knows a few things about the Ivy League school and plagiarism.
“It doesn’t matter how small, it doesn’t matter if it’s unintentional — even if you do it with the best intentions, it’s still a serious problem,” Sibarium tells Glenn, adding that Harvard makes it extremely clear that “intent is irrelevant.”
“According to the letter of Harvard plagiarism policies, Gay clearly violated them,” he says.
Sibarium also notes that the Harvard Corporation “intimidated, may have even threatened to sue the New York Post for defamation after the New York Post reached out for comment” regarding the allegations against Gay.
“Harvard apparently took this seriously enough that they thought it was worth hiring the best defamation law firm in the country,” he adds.
But why are they taking it so seriously?
Sibarium believes it’s because Gay happens to be Harvard’s first black president, but more importantly she “is emblematic of the kind of DEI ideology that is regnant at Harvard.”
Not only that, but she was “at the center of a lot of cancellations” and “had a pattern of rewarding friends and punishing enemies.”
She also “seems to have kind of maneuvered the administration and bureaucratic apparatus of Harvard around her very shrewdly.”
“That’s part of how she became president, and I think that background may be part of why they’re so unwilling to let her go,” Sibarium adds.

WATCH: 'SNL' skit on Ivy League congressional hearing is a joke in all the wrong ways
"Saturday Night Live" is supposed to be funny, but unfortunately, the show's recent satire of the Ivy League congressional hearing that took place last week was anything but.
Glenn Beck plays the clip of what is clearly "SNL" “[making] fun of the Republican congresswoman instead of making fun of the fact that [the presidents of the schools] would not say anti-Semitism was bad.”
The audience is “trying to figure out how Stefanik is the bad guy here,” says Glenn Beck in reference to the way the Republican representative is portrayed as an incompetent, bumbling idiot.
“They were at one point on the cutting edge of comedy,” sighs Stu, who calls the skit downright “unfunny.”
“They were, yes,” says Glenn, “but that was squashed by political correctness.”
To see "SNL’s" cringeworthy skit that makes light of what was clearly unapologetic anti-Semitism displayed by the presidents of MIT, Harvard, and the University of Pennsylvania, watch the clip below.
