James Carville threatens to leave the Democratic Party
Since helping Robert Casey Sr. become the governor of Pennsylvania in the late 1980s, James "the Ragin' Cajun" Carville has been a mainstay in the Democratic Party. The 81-year-old strategist who managed Bill Clinton's first presidential campaign is, however, now seriously doubting his future in the party.
Carville, who has repeatedly warned about his party's takeover by democratic socialists, explained on Sunday that he will leave the Democratic Party if it welcomes leftist streamer Hasan Piker.
'Let the streets soak in their f**king red capitalist blood.'
"I am not going to be in the same party with Hasan Piker, I can tell you that right now," Carville told Fox News. "If he becomes a force in the Democratic Party, I'm out of here."
Piker, the multimillionaire son of Muslim immigrants from Turkey, is a former Young Turks contributor turned streamer who has accrued millions of followers on Twitch. This proud supporter of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) who was characterized by New Yorker magazine in December as a "Communist Manifesto"-thumping "old-school hard leftist" has made no secret of his contempt for America.
Piker, who was in attendance at New York City Democrat Mayor Zohran Mamdani's election party, has, for example:
- stated that "America deserved 9/11" and called for another attack;
- celebrated the "brave f**king soldier" responsible for Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) losing his eye in the Afghanistan war;
- identified the colors of Hezbollah terrorists as his "favorite flag";
- told viewers who care about Medicaid fraud to "kill" Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), resulting in a temporary Twitch ban;
- shrugged off sexual violence by Hamas terrorists; and
- advocated for murdering landlords who choose not to rent their properties, stating, "Let the streets soak in their f**king red capitalist blood."
Piker, a self-admitted anchor baby who has said that he has no patriotism in his heart for America, has also lavished praise on Chinese dictator Mao Zedong, a bloodthirsty communist who was responsible for tens of millions of deaths.

In one stream, Piker said that he "never would and never will" criticize Mao, calling the mass murderer "one of the great leaders of this world, a man who changed the entire universe, the entire planet."
Carville emphasized on Sunday, "I have no intention of ever being in the same political party with that guy. Now, I think that a majority, [an] overwhelming majority of Democrats agree with me, but this idea that we're going to seize the means of production and this — just go look at the DSA platform."
While unclear about how things might pan out for the two-party system in the coming months, Carville said, "I can tell you for certain: Hasan Piker and James Carville are not going to be in the same political party. One of us is going to leave. It might even be me."
In addition to supporting Ocasio-Cortez, Piker has endorsed Abdul El-Sayed, the 41-year-old Islamic leftist running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan. El-Sayed, who like Piker is the son of Muslim immigrants, has previously called for the defunding of American police and has in recent months attempted to make the election in Michigan a referendum on America's relationship with Israel.

While the passing of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has sparked an outpouring of tributes from allies, there’s also been a disappointing wave of celebration from the left.
BlazeTV host Ron Simmons is disturbed by what he’s seeing, pointing out that Graham wasn’t even a “far -ight zealot.”
“The left will hate us no matter who is in charge,” he says, before pulling up a post on X from Ana Kasparian, who simply wrote: “Good riddance.”
“In follow-up comments, including on Instagram, she doubled down and said she was elated that he was dead and overjoyed,” Simmons explains.
“And Nick Fuentes ... posted the same thing verbatim. Cenk Uygur, co-creator of 'The Young Turks,' posted, ‘Lindsey Graham has moved on to the next step of his journey, trying to convince Hades to attack Zeus and Poseidon,’” he continues.
“Comedian Elizabeth Booker Houston dropped off a ‘congratudolences’ cake at Graham’s office for his sister to receive. This is the worst one,” he adds.
“I just dropped this cake off at Lindsey Graham’s office. Congratuldolences, Darline! Your brother is burning in hell, and now, you’re working for the devil!” Houston wrote in a post on X.
Hasan Piker also chimed in on Graham’s passing, writing “lmao” in a quote tweet of a post remembering Graham.
“What I want you to understand is that don’t think when Donald Trump is out of office in 2029, he leaves office in early 2029, that ... that’s going to be a big kumbaya moment. It’s not going to be,” Simmons says.
“Do not be fooled by that. We need to stick to our principles, stick to our policies. Do I wish that Trump wouldn’t say some of the things he says? Absolutely. Absolutely. 100% ... but our policies is what we need to be the most concerned about,” he continues.
“We need to stay strong and move on from here,” he adds.

Glenn Beck: Far-left Democrats are plotting to destroy America right in front of our eyes
The Democratic Socialists of America have released their new platform, which is titled “Workers Deserve More.” And Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck has been left wondering — who are the workers?
“Well, you can ask Mamdani because he apparently knows. Well, no, actually, they asked him yesterday, and it stumped him. He couldn’t answer who workers were,” he says.
The new platform also commits to “abolish the United States Senate, replacing the president and the Supreme Court with an executive and a judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.”
“That means that you just want to abolish the United States of America,” Glenn comments.
The group also wants “to take the largest corporations into public ownership,” which Glenn immediately pegs as “communism.”
“Abolishing ICE, granting amnesty to all immigrants, defunding the Department of War, and eventually writing a new constitution,” he says. “That’s interesting.”
“In their words, ... some demands may be achievable under the current system, but complete victory, I’m quoting, ‘requires building a new society from the ground up,’” he explains. “Well, the good news is, we know how that society looks, because it looks like the former Soviet Union or the current Chinese government.”
“This has been done before, and this is where the left loses. They always lose because they combine communism with radicalism and explosions and terrorism,” he adds.
Leftists like Hasan Piker are even openly copying Chinese Communist Party Chairman Mao, who oversaw the deaths of millions of his civilians under his “new society.”
In a clip from the College Democrats of America summer convention on July 18, Piker, dressed as Mao, said: “No more to Trumpism, but no more to the Democrats who compromise, who conciliate, and who betray us.”
“No more to the fascist reactionaries, but no more to the Democrats who will collaborate and cooperate with the fascists, who will fund ICE, who will fund Israel,” he added.
“This is exactly, exactly the way it has happened every single time,” Glenn comments.
“You’re teaching people to hate. You’re praising Chairman Mao, and you say you want to change the constitution,” he says. “No.”

The Democrat civil war is real — and it is happening in Wisconsin
Yard signs for democratic socialist Francesca Hong have appeared across rural Wisconsin in recent months. Hong, a single mother and small-business restaurateur, has paired an appealing biography with a platform well to the left of the state’s political center. She has called for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement and establishing universal health care. Now she leads the Democrat field for governor.
Hong’s rise has also thrown Wisconsin Democrats into a panic. Party leaders must either accommodate a socialist insurgency or risk alienating the working-class voters they need in November. The result is a fractured coalition that could puncture Democrat hopes for a national blue wave.
Wisconsin’s primary may reveal the limit of the coming blue wave: Democrats cannot sweep the country while their own coalition is pulling itself apart.
Republicans avoided that problem. By late January, they had consolidated around Rep. Tom Tiffany, a former dam tender from Northwestern Wisconsin, and began pooling their resources for the general election. Democrats instead produced a seven-candidate field that included two lieutenant governors, the Milwaukee County executive, a businessman, a lawyer, a CEO, and a chef backed by the Democratic Socialists of America.
Kirk Bangstad, owner of Minocqua Brewing Company, briefly joined the race after his bar promised free beer on the day President Trump died. His campaign lasted only weeks before election officials disqualified him for failing to collect enough valid signatures.
The Democrat primary soon became a full-blown soap opera. For months, party insiders treated Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez as the preferred candidate of major donors. Rodriguez, who has worked in health care, built her campaign around her biography as a nurse, wife, mother, and experienced public official.
Former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes also entered the race. He left Gov. Tony Evers’ administration in 2022 to challenge Republican Sen. Ron Johnson. Barnes spent $56 million, lost the election, and earned the lasting resentment of major Democrat donors.
Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley began building momentum until his administration allowed the county employees’ health insurance contract to lapse. Thousands of workers temporarily lost coverage, and the debacle triggered firings, resignations, and questions about Crowley’s competence.
Crowley dropped out and endorsed Rodriguez. Then Rodriguez’s campaign disclosed nearly $600,000 in campaign-finance reporting errors and suspended its bid. Crowley promptly re-entered the race with Evers’ endorsement. Wisconsin Democrats had managed to replace one damaged establishment candidate with another.
While the establishment candidates stumbled, Hong surged. She has led surveys of likely primary voters and attracted the largest number of individual contributors in the race: 14,000 donors making more than 22,000 contributions. Her average donation is just under $50, evidence of genuine grassroots enthusiasm rather than dependence on a handful of wealthy patrons.
Hong signs and campaign literature now appear from Wisconsin’s rural towns to its deepest-blue cities. During a livestream with left-wing streamer Hasan Piker, she expressed support for abolishing prisons, defunding police, and eliminating the U.S. Senate. These are not marginal disagreements over tax rates or spending priorities. Hong represents a direct challenge to the party’s remaining moderates.

Wisconsin may seem like unlikely terrain for a far-left socialist breakthrough. Milwaukee elected three prominent socialist mayors between 1910 and 1960, but the state has spent the past six decades as a fiercely contested political battleground. A movement built around New York City-style democratic socialism should struggle in a state decided by working-class voters outside Madison and Milwaukee.
Yet neighboring states offer warnings. Minnesota has Omar Fateh, and Michigan has Denzel McCampbell. The Midwest may be less resistant to the socialist left than party leaders and Republican strategists assume.
Wisconsin’s gubernatorial primary exposes a widening fracture between traditional Democrats and radical socialists. Since Trump returned to office in 2025, the media has promoted a supposed conservative civil war, feeding podcast feuds and trying to cast Marco Rubio and JD Vance as rivals. Those largely manufactured disputes look minor beside the Democratic Party’s genuine struggle for control.
Many major donors hesitate to fund DSA candidates whose platforms repel independents. At the same time, young activists have built increasingly powerful grassroots organizations around socialist candidates. DSA membership is rising rapidly while Democratic Party membership remains comparatively flat. The party’s money and its energy are moving in opposite directions.

That conflict could destroy Democrat hopes for a blue wave before November arrives. Party leaders want likeable, moderate-sounding candidates who can win swing voters. Their activist base wants candidates who would abolish immigration enforcement, defund police, eliminate prisons, and dismantle constitutional institutions. Wisconsin Democrats cannot satisfy both constituencies indefinitely.
The problem extends beyond Wisconsin. The collapse of candidates such as Graham Platner in Maine points to a broader struggle over the Democratic Party’s identity and direction.
Democrat leaders may believe voter anger at Trump will carry them through the midterms. But anger alone cannot hold together a coalition fighting over whether reform or revolution should define the party.

Narcissism has given itself a new name: socialism.
It shouldn’t come as any surprise that the generation that has grown up scrolling through social media feeds tends to be self-obsessed. This is evident in fewer marriages, lower birth rates, and a greater likelihood of mental illness. Politically, it is reflected in the alarming percentage of young people who have favorable views of socialism.
Socialism is rising in popularity because it allows today’s youth to engage in the self-absorption of influencer culture while also enjoying the faux moral superiority of communist propaganda.
Over the past few months, members of the Democratic Socialists of America have found success in political races across America. Whether it’s Zohran Mamdani’s cadre of candidates in New York City or Colorado’s Melat Kiros, it seems like no place is safe from the DSA’s growing influence.
The party’s prospects improved markedly after Mamdani’s victory in the New York City mayoral race last year. When he launched his campaign in October 2024, the DSA’s city chapter maintained a steady membership of about 5,000 and had only about 50,000 members nationally. But after Mamdani’s victory, NYC’s chapter tripled, while the national party doubled, hitting the 100,000 mark in February.
This happened as the DSA shifted its recruitment strategy, no longer relying on anger but preying on the egocentrism of today’s youth as it ramped up its focus on college campuses.
The Mamdani campaign’s many viral moments helped turn out the youth vote. His strong social media presence carried him across the finish line in America’s largest city. Other DSA candidates such as Claire Valdez and Abdul El-Sayed adopted Mamdani’s winning strategy.
They are gaining social status and expanding their voting blocs by putting themselves at the forefront of their campaigns.
The DSA candidates are having success because they aren’t painting themselves as politicians — they’re becoming influencers.
Their rallies look like nightclubs; they surround themselves with celebrities; and their TikToks show them enjoying an idyllic, manicured vision of the cities they represent. Their young followers aren’t being shown homeless encampments or violent drug addicts attacking their fellow citizens. Instead, DSA candidates shield them from the dangerous effects of the failed policies they would only accelerate.
I often hear older conservatives who grew up during or shortly after the Cold War ask the question, “Can’t these socialist kids see their city crumbling around them?” Indeed, they can. They see the graffiti, the unsafe public transportation, and the street takeovers. They choose to ignore these realities or blame them on “capitalism” as they look with awe at Zohran Mamdani joyfully walking shoulder to shoulder with his fellow New Yorkers on his way to get a poppy-seed bagel.
They’re caught up in his smile as he reads to a class of preschool children or encourages people to relinquish private property for the greater good.

The DSA operates like any social media influencer, showing its audience how good life could be if they buy the right product, and in this case, that product is a trendy, Instagram-ready brand of socialism.
Perhaps no one has embodied the socialist influencer mindset more robustly than Hasan Piker. He has amassed a large following through daily, hours-long live Twitch streams, where he talks about communist theory and chats with his ever-growing group of followers.
Piker has been constantly seen with liberal elites and even made an appearance at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party, where he dressed like a chic Chairman Mao. He posts photos of himself thoughtfully “reading” Lenin or wearing expensive suits at Free Palestine rallies.
But for all of Piker’s radicalism, such as saying that the streets should “soak in red capitalist blood,” he could fairly be described as a communist MrBeast.
Piker and Mamdani represent the sinister narcissism underpinning the burgeoning socialist movement. Young people are obsessed with themselves: A recent Morning Consult poll found that 86% of respondents want to be influencers, the fourth most popular career aspiration for Americans between the ages of 13 and 38.
Socialism is rising in popularity because it allows today’s youth to engage in the self-absorption of influencer culture while also enjoying the faux moral superiority of communist propaganda. It is a match made in hell.
Kids looking to build audiences need only post about abolishing ICE or implementing rent control. Never mind that their iPhones and Instagram feeds were created by the very people and corporations they rail against. What matters is that they see their own image reflected in every inch of the world.
