'LGBTQ is shoved down our throat': 16-year-old athlete says girls are silenced about not wanting boys in their locker room

A student at a California high school said female athletes were stabbed in the back by their administrators when they expressed concerns over boys being in their change room.

During a board meeting for the Riverside Unified School District in California, an unnamed 16-year-old girl spoke out about a male athlete competing on the girls cross-country team.

"I run on the cross country team. So I'm constantly affected by these actions that have taken place this season," the young girl began. "I have been around the females and just my team in general who have felt almost silenced to speak out about it because the whole LGBTQ is shoved down our throats; it is put in our face."

Martin Luther King High School and the school district were recently sued by two female athletes who accused them of violating Title IX along with their First and 14th Amendment rights.

The girls said they were told by school officials that wearing a shirt that read "Save Girls' Sports" on the front was akin to wearing a swastika.

After saying that it feels "almost impossible" for girls to speak out on this topic, the 16-year-old told the district that the school's athletic director has completely failed the students who were brave enough to say something.

"I went myself to have a discussion with the athletic director when nobody really felt comfortable enough to speak out. ... To see the athletic director turn around and tell my teammates that their shirts that say 'Save Girls' Sports' be compared to a swastika, that is not okay."

The student continued, "These girls feel silenced. They felt silenced. And when they finally spoke out and did something to go against it and speak out, not directed towards a single person at all, they were completely stabbed in the back by the person that we were told would support us and be able to help us through this."

The two girls named in the lawsuit, known by their first names Kaitlyn and Taylor, were protesting a male athlete who bumped one of the girls from their cross-country team.

"There's a transgender student on the team. Why am I getting displaced when I worked so hard and gone to all of the practices, and this student has only attended a few of the practices?" Taylor asked.

The girls alleged that their athletic officials told them to remove or conceal their shirts and said they are creating a "hostile" environment. The athletic director was also accused of saying that wearing the shirts around a transgender student was like wearing a swastika around a Jewish student.

On the school's website, the athletic director is listed as Amanda Chann; however, Chann is listed in the broader school directory as the assistant principal.

Blaze News has asked the school administrators if it was indeed Chann who made the statement or if it was made by any staff member at all. At the time of this publication there had been no response from any staff member, including the principal and Chann.

'It is not okay that I have to be in a position where I'm going to practice and having to see a male in booty shorts.'

During the school board meeting, the young athlete said it felt like her school and the district were "choosing to support one person instead of the whole team and the whole school."

"It's not okay," she reiterated.

She went on to say that Kaitlyn and Taylor were two of the nicest people she had "ever met" and that the girls have all been put in an unsafe environment.

"It is not okay that I have to be in a position where I'm going to practice and having to see a male in booty shorts and having to see that around me. As a 16-year-old girl, I don't find that as a safe environment. I don't at all."

She added that she doesn't find it safe for her to be "seeing males" in the school locker room and bathroom.

"I'm a 16-year-old girl. There's girls around me where we do not feel safe having boys in our environment, and it isn't okay. It isn't okay to have them on our team. ... It's the genetics."

This article will be updated with any applicable responses from the Martin Luther King High School administrators.

Neither the Riverside Unified School District nor Martin Luther King High School responded to Fox News' requests for comment earlier in the week.

Teacher accused of criminal sexual penetration of student, reportedly asked principal not to tell her husband

The latest teacher sex scandal involves a newly hired substitute teacher from New Mexico who has since been fired. The 30-year-old married woman was charged with criminal sexual penetration and sexual contact with a minor, according to authorities.

Michaela Ford of Estancia was arrested Friday and hit with seven charges, including criminal sexual penetration and sexual contact with a minor. Ford is being held at the Torrance County Detention Facility.

Surveillance video showed the encounter between Ford and the child, according to court documents.

Ford had been working at Estancia High School. Citing court records, KOAT-TV reported that a witness came forward after allegedly seeing Ford kissing an underage student near the middle and high schools on Nov. 6. The station reported that Ford asked the principal not to tell her husband about the alleged interaction.

The school launched an investigation into the allegations. Surveillance video showed the encounter between Ford and the child, according to court documents.

The Estancia Municipal School District issued a statement Monday saying it's "disturbed to learn of the allegations made against a former substitute teacher in the district, who was arrested."

"The district is working closely in cooperation with law enforcement to ensure that a full investigation is conducted," the district stated. "The safety of our students is our highest priority. The district follows all laws and policies with regards to the hiring of employees, including a comprehensive background check."

The district said Ford had been employed at the high school for less than a month. Ford was "separated from students immediately" after the accusations of sexual misconduct surfaced.

"The district is now concentrating our efforts and resources to assist students requiring support and guidance," the school district said.

"As this matter has just come to light, full details are not known," the district added. "All information related to this matter will remain confidential in order to protect our students. This district takes pride in being a tight-knit and caring community of learners. We will continue to take all necessary steps to protect student safety."

‘Like Buffalo Through A Storm’: Ohio School Principal Placed On Leave After Lamenting Trump’s Win In Staff Newsletter

'I can’t write a message that pretends like the election didn’t happen,' the principal wrote to staff

15-year-old student allegedly bashes HS staffer in head with laptop; victim, 54, hospitalized, has trouble breathing

A 15-year-old student allegedly hit a high school staff member in the head with a laptop — and the victim, 54, was hospitalized and reportedly had trouble breathing.

The incident took place last Monday at Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland, which is part of Montgomery County Schools, WTTG-TV reported.

'He'll probably get in-school detention followed by a transfer to another school.'

Principal Scott E. Smith confirmed the incident in a letter to families and staff, the station said, adding that emergency services were called to the scene, and the Montgomery County Police Department was investigating.

The staff member was taken to a hospital for treatment, district's spokesperson Liliana López told WTTG.

"We can confirm that a student struck and injured a staff member," López said in a statement, according to the station. "The staff member was transported to the hospital by emergency services."

Citing police radio transmissions, MoCo360 reported that the student allegedly hit the staff member in the head with a laptop.

The dispatcher said the staff member — a 54-year-old man — was conscious but having trouble breathing after the alleged assault, the outlet added.

MoCo360, citing radio transmissions, said the 15-year-old student in question was taken to the school’s office and was with the school’s security staff following the alleged incident.

“It is important to note that any student who chooses to commit an act of violence will be subject to progressive discipline in alignment with the MCPS Code of Conduct up to possible expulsion," Smith wrote in his letter, according to the outlet. "Police will determine whether criminal charges may apply."

How are observers reacting?

As you might expect, some observers on various Facebook posts from news sites weren't thrilled with the incident:

  • "He'll probably get in-school detention followed by a transfer to another school," one commenter wrote.
  • "Sue the parents," another commenter said.
  • "Oh, how awful," another commenter reacted. "I hope the teacher/staff member is okay, and that the student is removed from the school."

America’s Current Schooling Catastrophes Were Set In Motion 100 Years Ago

Starting with John Dewey, leftists have molded our public education system to manipulate America's youth into advancing their own agenda.

Vicious fight between 17-year-old female student, female teacher leads to student's arrest; teacher placed on leave

A 17-year-old female high school student was arrested and a female high school teacher was placed on leave after the pair engaged in a vicious fight this week in a Tallahassee, Florida, school cafeteria that was recorded on cellphone video.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest of the student from Lincoln High School, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.

The teen also faces student discipline up to expulsion as part of the district's student code of conduct, the paper reported.

You can view cellphone video of the fight here.

The paper said several students recorded portions of the fight, which commenced around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday during lunchtime. Concerned parents also shared video of the fight on social media, the paper added.

Leon County School District officials told the paper the fight began after a student attacked a hall monitor and took her phone.

The video of the fight shows a large crowd of students in the cafeteria surrounding a woman and a student wrestling on the ground, the paper said, adding that the woman appears to kick the student off her. Several students manage to break up the fight, pulling the pair apart, the paper said, but as the student walks away, the woman searches for the student, finds her, and re-engages in the fight, pulling the student's hair while the student punches the woman. School officials confirmed to the paper that the video shows the end of the fight.

The student was arrested and taken to the Leon Juvenile Detention Center, the paper said, adding that she was charged with attempted robbery by sudden snatching and battery of a school official, both of which are felonies.

"We are still reviewing the video, and it is still very much an open investigation," LCSO communications director Shonda Knight added to the paper.

The teen also faces student discipline up to expulsion as part of the district's student code of conduct, the paper reported.

The school staff member is on leave pending the outcome of the investigation, the paper said.

Assistant Principal Jennifer Tibbitts emailed parents through the school system's FOCUS portal at 1:50 p.m. Thursday to inform them of the fight, the paper noted.

"Today at lunch there was an incident involving a student and staff member. Other school staff and our school resource officers responded immediately. This incident is being investigated by Leon County Sheriff's office and will be handled accordingly," the message said, according to the paper.

Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil, Schools Superintendent Rocky Hanna, and school board members had announced Wednesday — prior to the fight — a tour of district high schools to discuss safety and security concerns with students, the paper said, adding that a visit to Lincoln High was scheduled for Friday. The status of that visit in light of the fight was not clear.

Man, 27, gets up to 120 years in prison for enrolling in high school, committing sex crimes against girls as young as 13

A 27-year-old Nebraska man was sentenced to up to 120 years in prison for fraudulently enrolling in high school and then committing sex crimes against girls as young as 13.

Judge Darla Ideus sentenced Zachary Scheich to 85 to 120 years in prison Wednesday. In July, Scheich pleaded no contest to five felonies, including two counts of first-degree sexual assault, attempted first-degree sexual assault, child enticement, and generation of child pornography. Scheich previously faced nine felony charges, but they were reduced as part of a plea deal.

'Predator of the worst kind.'

Scheich also will be required to register as a sex offender. He will be eligible for parole in 41 years.

“They knew not to speak with an adult male on social media, they knew not to meet an adult male by themselves, they knew how to defend themselves against that kind of danger,” Judge Ideus told Scheich during his sentencing, according to KOLN-TV. “They did not know how to protect themselves against you. Because again, they thought you were their peer. Their friend. And because you gained their trust.”

As Blaze News previously reported, Scheich attended 54 days of high school during the 2022-23 school year.

Scheich reportedly enrolled at Northwest High School and then transferred to Southeast High School — the school from which he graduated in 2015. He also allegedly enrolled in summer school but never attended.

Police said Scheich was able to enroll in the high schools by providing Lincoln Public Schools with a fraudulent birth certificate and immunization records. Scheich used a fake name, Zak Hess, to enroll in the high schools.

Scheich — who stands at 5'4'' and weighs 120 pounds — presented himself as a 17-year-old. He apparently "blended in with other students," Lincoln Police Assistant Chief Brian Jackson stated.

While attending high school, Scheich allegedly began initiating relationships with underage girls and even met families.

Scheich had sexually explicit conversations with 13- and 14-year-old students, according to court documents. He purportedly sent sexual text messages to female students and asked one girl for “pornographic material,” according to an arrest affidavit.

Prosecutors said Scheich sexually assaulted multiple underage victims.

Deputy County Attorney Amber Scholte during his sentencing called Schiech a “predator of the worst kind," KOLN reported.

“He targeted, groomed, and lured them via social media,” Scholte said. “He did so under the guise of being their peer, their friend, and in some cases, their boyfriend. And he did so for his own sexual purpose and gratification.”

Scheich reportedly enlisted the help of 23-year-old Angela Navarro to pose as his mother and help get him enrolled in high school.

Navarro posed as “Danielle Hess,” Zak’s mother, and worked with Lincoln Public Schools staff to get Scheich into high school, according to her arrest affidavit.

Police arrested Navarro in September 2023. Navarro pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal impersonation of $5,000+, a class III felony. The fake enrollment reportedly cost the Lincoln Public Schools district more than $6,000.

Mom fought with students after being let into school through side door near gym, police say

A mother is accused of fighting students in a gymnasium prior to the start of the school day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, late last month.

The incident took place around 7 a.m. Aug. 22 at IDEA Bridge, WAFB-TV reported, while students were waiting for classes to start after their morning bus ride to campus.

'I feel like when my child goes to school that her life is in their hands. So this makes me very, very, very worried to know that no one was there all that time that this was going on.'

Jah’n’que Brown, a junior at the school, told the station she was defending herself from another student, that student's sister — and that student's mother.

“She’s threatening her and saying, ‘Oh, let’s go outside and fight, come on, we’re gonna fight,’ stuff like that," Jah’n’que recalled to WAFB, adding that soon after "everything just starts popping off. And I get hit."

Baton Rouge police responded to the incident, but the department has not yet completed its investigation, the station said, adding that charges are pending. Corp. Saundra Watts confirmed to WAFB that a mother was let into the school through a door near the gymnasium and that she participated in the altercation.

Jah’n’que’s mother, Yakisha Brown, told the station she's worried about her children’s safety at school and isn't happy: “There was a whole lot of lives involved in that, and I feel it’s unjust, it’s just not right."

WAFB said it reached out to IDEA Public Schools and asked what security measures are in place and whether any security guards or staff members are responsible in such cases. The station said Director of Communications Rebecca Suarez responded with this statement: “IDEA Bridge is aware of an incident that took place at our campus. We received reports that a physical altercation involving a parent took place. Appropriate staff were on site to respond to the incident. Duty personnel and administrators were able to diffuse [sic] the situation and remove the parent from the campus. All students and staff are safe. The campus partnered with local law enforcement in the investigation.”

Jah’n’que added to WAFB that no one in authority was present at the time the fighting began: “Nobody was in there. No teachers, no administration. We’re in the gym at the time, and they’re supposed to be in the gym. They’re supposed to be watching us, everyone. They’re supposed to be coming in the gym, and they’re supposed to be there before we even get in there. We were there for, like, a good five minutes. I’m not even gonna lie, like, students were trying to stop it, yeah, but ... no administration or anything like that was there.”

The station added that the IDEA Public Schools website indicates says all campuses are closed, meaning visitors can enter only through main doors. WAFB also said it asked if the mother or the students are facing consequences, but the station said it has not yet received a response.

Brown noted to the station that she's hoping for drastic changes in IDEA Bridge's security and safety protocol: “I feel like when my child goes to school that her life is in their hands. So this makes me very, very, very worried to know that no one was there all that time that this was going on."

High school quarterback dies from brain injury in freak accident: 'Our hope is that God will be glorified through our story'

An Alabama high school quarterback died suddenly after suffering from a traumatic brain injury during the season-opening game on Friday night, according to multiple reports.

John T. Morgan Academy’s first game of the 2024 season was held on Friday against visiting Southern Academy in Selma, Alabama.

'My son was an exceptional athlete. But the thing he loved the most was to talk about Jesus.'

Caden Tellier, a 16-year-old junior, was the quarterback for John T. Morgan Academy. During the third quarter of the game, Tellier suffered an injury from a freak accident.

The Alabama Independent School Association executive director Michael McLendon said those in the crowd watching the game "likely did not witness anything unusual" in the heartbreaking last play that he described as "routine."

McLendon said, "While we may not know the full story for some time, initial reports are that Caden likely suffered a ruptured blood vessel in his brain following a routine play in which he was tackled and made contact with the ground."

Tellier was taken off the field and airlifted to the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in critical condition.

McLendon told CNN that it could be "quite some time before we have more information about the injury and overall incident."

Caden's parents — Arsella Slagel Tellier and Jamie Tellier — revealed that their son had passed away in a Facebook post shared on Saturday.

Our boy, Caden Tellier has met Jesus face to face. We appreciate all of your prayers and we covet them for the hard days ahead. Everyone who knows Caden has known kindness, generosity, and love, and true to his nature, he is giving of himself one more time. Lives have been touched by the way he lived and now lives will be saved through his passing. We will walk out these next few days alongside him in his earthly body knowing that his spirit is rejoicing in heaven.

The grieving parents provided an update on social media on Tuesday morning, where they thanked the medical staff who cared for Caden. The heartbroken parents also revealed that Caden was an organ donor and "his final wish to give the gift of organ donation" was realized.

"Caden is still fighting hard in his earthly body as he prepares for this final act of generosity to bring new life to others," the parents said. "We continue to pray for those whose lives will be forever changed by his gifts."

The parents added, "Our hope is that God will be glorified through our story. His love will be evident, and that Caden’s impact will touch the lives of many."

Caden's father, Jamie Tellier, said, "I could tell you a lot about who my son was, who my son is. My son was an exceptional athlete. But the thing he loved the most was to talk about Jesus."

The parents were "overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and generosity from our friends, community, and even those who have never met us in person."

'His legacy will live on and we thank God that we had the opportunity to love him and be loved by him.'

Dr. Bryan Oliver — the headmaster of John T. Morgan Academy — said in a statement on social media:

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that Caden Tellier has gone to be with his Lord and Savior. Caden loved the Lord with all his heart and was a shining light every day he graced the halls of Morgan Academy. He was a student, a friend, an athlete, and most important, a Christ follower. There are no words to describe how we feel as a school community and family. We will come together and support Jamie, Arsella and Lyla with our whole hearts. We offer our deepest sympathy to the Tellier’s extended family as well. I want to thank all the schools and individuals that have reached out during this difficult time. Caden will never be forgotten for who he was and what he means to Morgan Academy.

Oliver stated that the school would cancel all athletic activities for the next week because of the sudden death tragedy.

Nearby Hooper Academy quoted the Psalms 147:3 Bible verse in a Facebook post: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

“Hooper Academy extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the family of Caden Tellier, a standout student-athlete at Morgan Academy who tragically lost his life after an injury Friday night," the school stated. "The AISA is truly a family, and we will stand in the gap in prayer for his friends, loved ones, and the entire student body of MAS in the days and weeks to come."

Auburn University football coach Hugh Freeze said at a press conference on Monday, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Caden Tellier over at Morgan Academy in Selma, and Coach (Jacob) Webb as they deal with the tragic loss of one of their teammates and a son. I just can’t imagine the difficulty that they’re going through. So our thoughts and prayers are with them."

Tellier threw a touchdown and rushed for a touchdown in the first half before his injury, according to the Selma Times-Journal.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched to help cover medical and funeral expenses for the family. At the time of publication the crowdfunding campaign had raised more than $100,000.

"Caden is best known for his kindness, generosity, and love," the GoFundMe listing read. "True to his nature, he is giving of himself one more time to save the lives of others through the donation of his organs. His legacy will live on and we thank God that we had the opportunity to love him and be loved by him.

Alabama High School Athletic Association medical director James Robinson said football is "still safe."

Robinson told AL.com, "If you look at the data from the National Center for Catastrophic Sport Injury Research, you will see that death rates remain at a fairly stable level. In 2023, there were 16 deaths at all levels. Ten were medically related, three were traumatic and three were not football-related or unknown. At the high school level, four were medically related and three were related to traumatic head injuries. This is out of 4.2 million participants at all levels."
