Emails from Hunter Biden's laptop show that Joe Biden wrote a letter of recommendation for one of Hunter's Chinese business associates

Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop continues to make waves following recent reports from the legacy media validating the authenticity of its contents.

After obtaining emails containing correspondence between Hunter Biden and his business associates involved in a joint venture with Chinese investment firms Bohai Capital and BHR, Fox News reported that in 2017, Joe Biden wrote a college letter of recommendation for the son of one of Hunter’s business associates.

In the email, dated January 3, 2017, Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR, said, “Gentlemen[sic], please find the attached resume of my son, Chris Li. He is applying to the following colleges for this year.”

According to the email, Li’s son was applying to Brown, Cornell, and New York University. Li also attached an “updated version” of his son’s “CV" in a subsequent email.

In a subsequent email exchange, Hunter Biden’s business associate, Jim Bulger, said, “Let’s [sic] see how we can be helpful here to Chris.”

Several weeks later, in February 2017, another business associate of Hunter’s, Erich Schwerin, said to Li: “Hunter asked me to send you a copy of the recommendation letter that he asked his father to write on behalf of Christopher for Brown University.”

“The original is being FedExed to Dr. Paxson directly at Brown," Schwerin said. “It should be there by Tuesday at the latest (given Monday is a holiday here in the US). Let us know if you have any questions.”

The recipient of the letter is the president of Brown University.

In response to Schwerin’s message, Li replied: “Hi Eric, Just see the email. It is just great! Thank you very much! And Hunter, thank you very much too. All the best to you all.”

It is reportedly “unclear” if Li’s son attended or was even admitted to Brown University.

When asked about these emails, White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said, “We don’t comment on the laptop.”

However, he did not deny the laptop's existence or repeat a previous claim from the White House that the laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

A spokesperson from Brown University said that “because of privacy, we do not inquire of our Registrar’s office, Admissions office or any other office when we receive media requests such as these for information about Applicants to Brown.”

Despite the apparent past involvement of President Joe Biden with his son’s international business associates, the White House continues to deny that Biden had any knowledge of his son’s business dealings.

White House officials won't confirm whether the president has discussed pardoning Hunter Biden

On Thursday, White House officials refused to discuss whether there had been internal conversations about President Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter or brother James should their foreign business dealings land them in legal trouble.

The Washington Examiner reported that when asked about this, White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said, “That’s not a hypothetical I’m going to entertain. I don’t have anything to add.”

When asked about the president’s knowledge of his son’s and brother’s complicated international business dealings and financial interests, Bedingfield provided reporters roundabout answers and avoided engaging with the questions posed.

One reporter asked, “Is it your understanding it’s the president’s view that as he looks at all of Hunter Biden’s business dealings with his uncle, neither Hunter Biden nor James Biden committed any crimes or did anything that was unlawful?”

“We pointed to statements that were made in the fall of 2020 when we addressed these questions,” Bedingfield replied. “I don’t have anything additional to add from this podium.”

Since 2018, Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation to see whether he, or his business connections, broke tax law, laundered money, or broke foreign lobbying laws in holding meetings and conducting business in places such as China and Russia.

Hunter Biden denies any wrongdoing and has not currently been charged with any crimes.

The US Attorney’s Office in Delaware, however, is seeking grand jury testimony concerning income he received from foreign entities, notably while he was serving on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company.

The federal prosecutors are also reportedly investigating Hunter’s drug and alcohol abuse, his frivolous spending habits, and his state of mind in 2018 to determine what sort of defense he would make in a potential criminal tax case.

Recently, both the New York Times and the Washington Post published pieces acknowledging the validity of Hunter’s infamous laptop. For months, leftwing legacy outlets suppressed stories about Hunter’s laptop.

In October 2020, when the New York Post first reported on the contents of the laptop’s hard drive, the story was smeared as “Russian disinformation” by prominent legacy outlets. Then-candidate Joe Biden used these reports as a shield to dismiss questions regarding his involvement n Hunter’s questionable business dealings.

However, now that the legacy media now longer has an aversion to investigating Hunter’s laptop, for whatever reason, the Washington Post has confirmed that a Chinese energy conglomerate paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter and his uncle, James Biden.

Most of these details were reported and confirmed in several outlets *before* the 2020 election -- as opposed to now when it's safe to say it -- but they were censored by Twitter and FB based on the CIA lie spread by most corporate outlets that it was "Russian disinformation."https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/1509185932867551239\u00a0\u2026

There is little remaining disagreement about the authenticity of Hunter’s laptop or the content on its hard drive.

However, it remains to be seen whether the shady business dealings discussed on his laptop can be tied to the president.

Republicans in Congress are prepared to subpoena Hunter Biden over his international business deals and content found on his laptop

Republicans in the House of Representatives plan to subpoena Hunter Biden after the 2022 midterm elections and force him to answer a series of questions about his foreign business dealings and the contents of his infamous laptop.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who currently serves as the House GOP conference chair, said, “We will subpoena Hunter Biden,” the New York Post reported.

Biden, the 52-year-old trouble child of the Biden family and youngest son of President Joe Biden, previously abandoned his personal laptop at a computer repair shop in Delaware in the Spring of 2019. The computer’s hard drive contained years’ worth of correspondence over emails and texts, legal documents, and photos that detailed the younger Biden’s international business ventures.

The owner of the computer repair shop made copies of the laptop’s hard drive and provided them to the FBI and Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and advisor to former President Donald Trump. Ultimately, the New York Post obtained a copy of the hard drive and ran an expose a month before the 2020 presidential election which was suppressed by Facebook and Twitter and largely ignored by legacy-corporate media.

At the time, Biden’s laptop was falsely dismissed by the media and many in the American intelligence community as “Russian propaganda.”

Accusing these entities of collaborating to benefit the First Family, Stefanik said, “It should concern every American that they did this for the Biden family’s financial gain, which came at the cost of our national security.”

One of the questions, Republicans in Congress are most seeking for an answer for from Biden is who the moniker “the big guy” refers to in emails to one of his business partners. “The big guy” is described as a partner in a Chinese business venture and is entitled to 10 percent of the venture’s profits; “the big guy’s” shares were to be held for him by Hunter Biden.

“That’s one of the critical questions — perhaps the most critical question,” said Stefanik.

Stefanik stated that she believes “the big guy” is none other than Hunter’s father, Joe Biden.

Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter’s, said that there is “no question” that Joe Biden was “the big guy.”

“The American people absolutely deserve answers,” Stefanik said. “There is no greater ethical concern or frankly conspiracy … whether this president is compromised because of his illegal ties to his family members.”

The Beau Biden Foundation took in millions of dollars in donations while spending just thousands on philanthropy in 2020

The Beau Biden Foundation spent less than $750,000 in 2020 on its purported mission despite raking in nearly $4 million in donations the same year.

The New York Post reported that the Delaware-based charity, which was started in honor of President Joe Biden’s late son, received an infusion of $1.8 million from the Biden Foundation — started by Joe and Jill Biden — prior to that organization ending operations before Joe became president.

The Beau Biden Foundation also received more than $200,000 in charitable donations from entities that are tied to a top political donor of the president.

Reportedly, the charity spent just over $500,000, in 2020, towards its stated purpose of protecting children from abuse, according to tax filings.

The charity spent an almost equivalent amount that year in paying six-figure salaries of longtime Biden associates who hold executive-level jobs at the Beau Biden Foundation. This includes Patricia Day Lewis, who served as Delaware deputy attorney general during Beau Biden’s tenure as the state of Delaware’s Attorney General. Lewis currently runs the non-profit and, as of 2020, receives an annual salary of over $150,000.

Joshua Alcorn, a Democratic operative with a long resume who has also worked as a consultant on campaigns for both Joe and Beau Biden, served as the COO of the non-profit, in 2020, and received $131,437 in compensation. He has since left this role.

Hunter Biden, the middle-aged trouble child of the Biden family, also previously served on the board of the Beau Biden Foundation.

Currently, Hallie Biden, with whom Hunter had a prolonged affair after the death of his brother, is the only member of the Biden family serving on the board.

The board also features former FBI director Louis Freeh.

CharityWatch, a watchdog group, stated that non-profits that receive its highest ratings generally spend at least 75 percent of their annual budget on their charitable giving programs. The Beau Biden Foundation, in this case, only dedicated 58 percent of its spending to its mission.

Laurie Styron, the executive director of CharityWatch, said, “A 58 percent ratio does not reflect a high level of financial efficiency.”

The non-profit said that following the 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden, in a bid to increase transparency, it would no longer take money from lobbyists or foreign donors and would release the names of its major contributors.

Currently, the Beau Biden Foundation conducts virtual and in-person workshops for adults starting at $500 a session and holds sessions for children focusing on topics like bullying and internet safety.
