Left-Wing Financial Apparatus Pumped Millions Into Organization Hosting Terrorist Front Group
'Masquerade as charitable actors'
A pro-Hamas organization posted videos on social media on Wednesday claiming the group released maggots, mealworms, and crickets throughout the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his delegation are staying during their visit to Washington, D.C., this week.
One of the videos posted by the Palestinian Youth Movement showed grubs and insects crawling across a table in what appeared to be a meeting room inside the Watergate Hotel. Other videos captured crickets hopping around the floor in several areas of the hotel.
The Palestinian Youth Movement, which describes itself as a "transnational, independent, grassroots movement," wrote on social media, "BON APPETIT!! MAGGOTS RELEASED ON THE CRIMINAL ZIONIST'S WAR TABLE!"
"Palestine protestors manufactured chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night so that Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents, and the Secret Service had no peace as they continue to terrorize our people," the group added.
The Watergate Hotel confirmed the incident in a comment to the New York Post, calling the situation "unfortunate."
"Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. We took the necessary steps to ensure the property has been sanitized and is now operating as normal," the hotel told the news outlet. "We are cooperating fully with authorities, who are handling the situation. As this is an open case, we are unable to provide any further details at this time."
The protesters also admitted to pulling the hotel's fire alarm the evening before the prime minister's scheduled address before Congress. The group claimed the disruptions were meant "to ensure that there will be no rest before Netanyahu and Congress disgraces themselves in front of the world."
The intrusion brought into question the security measures around Capitol Hill during Netanyahu's visit, particularly after the Secret Service's admitted failure in response to the Donald Trump assassination attempt. This week's incident is not the first time unruly protesters have infiltrated hotels in an effort to disrupt the sleep of those temporarily residing at the property. Blaze News' senior politics editor and D.C. correspondent Christopher Bedford stated that activists pulled the fire alarm in the late hours of the evening at the hotel where John McCain's family was staying ahead of his memorial service in 2018.
A law enforcement source told the Post that the meeting room shown in the protesters' video was "not part of our agreed upon security plan with the Israeli security services and our local partners."
A Secret Service spokesperson stated that there was no threat to the Israeli delegation at any time as a result of the group's intrusion.
"The Watergate facility has an expansive footprint and remains open for businesses, residences and guests," the spokesperson told the Post.
A D.C. Fire and EMS spokesperson stated that the department had placed fire inspectors at the hotel at the Secret Service's request, the Washington Post reported. Following the triggered fire alarm, officials "determined there was no fire emergency and any fire department response was cancelled," the spokesperson told the news outlet.
Palestinian Youth Movement also stationed protesters outside the hotel to hold noise demonstrations each morning and evening to ensure the prime minister "will enjoy no rest while he is here."
"All of D.C. from organizations to individuals reject the stay of a war criminal in our city," an organizer with the group's DMV chapter told the Washington Post.
"It reflects a tremendous security failure on their part," the organizer stated about law enforcement. "The city of D.C. and the United States government has stolen tens of millions of dollars to roll out the red carpet for a war criminal and even then, they can't stop something as simple as maggots being dropped ... at the Watergate Hotel."

In response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's scheduled speech before Congress on Wednesday, at least several hundred pro-Hamas activists, many carrying Palestinian flags, gathered around Capitol Hill to protest his address.
Blaze News' Julio Rosas captured videos of the anti-Israel protesters shouting, chasing, and shoving police officers stationed around the Capitol building and Union Station.
'Absolute chaos.'
Video from the demonstration showed some individuals in the mob attempting to pull police officers off of restrained and handcuffed agitators.
"Let them go! Let them go!" the crowd chanted at cops.
U.S. Park Police removed and secured an American flag at Union Station and withdrew from the chaos, Blaze News captured on video. Protesters followed the group of officers, shouting instructions to one another to grab the flag from officers.

American flags posted outside of Union Station were removed by activists and replaced with Palestinian flags. A statue was defaced by protesters who wrote, "Hamas is coming."
Other photographs and videos showed demonstrators burning American and Israeli flags.

Metropolitan Police officers deployed pepper spray outside of the Capitol building to break up the melee.
Rosas described the scene as "absolute chaos," writing in a post on X, "The mob continued to chase police officers to try to free protesters who had been arrested at Union Station. Pepper spray was eventually used to push the crowd back."
Rosas reported that law enforcement has detained some of the protesters.
Meanwhile, approximately half of the House and Senate Democrats refused to attend Netanyahu's address before Congress, choosing instead to align themselves with the activists. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and former House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) were among those who boycotted the prime minister's address.
In the chamber, Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) held up a sign reading "Guilty of genocide."
"I will never back down in speaking truth to power," Tlaib stated. "The apartheid government of Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. Palestinians will not be erased. Solidarity with all those outside of these walls in the streets protesting and exercising their right to dissent."
Ocasio-Cortez called Netanyahu "a war criminal."
Vice President Kamala Harris (D) also did not attend Netanyahu's speech, citing a previously scheduled event. President Joe Biden and Harris will reportedly hold separate meetings with the Israeli prime minister on Thursday. Donald Trump is slated to sit down with Netanyahu on Friday.
Neither Biden nor Harris showed up to greet Netanyahu and his wife when they arrived in Washington, D.C., on Monday.

Neither President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris greeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife as they arrived in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
Netanyahu's arrival marks his first visit to Washington in nearly four years. He is scheduled to give a speech before Congress on Wednesday outlining Israel's strategy to address the growing threat from the Iranian regime, which launched a direct attack in April, according to the Jerusalem Post.
'Democrats have a SERIOUS anti-Semitism problem.'
Harris has declined to attend Netanyahu's address to Congress, citing a previously scheduled event, CNN reported. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and more than 30 other Democratic lawmakers are planning to boycott Netanyahu's speech.
"Speaker Pelosi will not be attending today's Joint Meeting of Congress. This morning, she will join a Members meeting with Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings," a spokesperson for Pelosi stated.
United States Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) slammed fellow lawmakers for boycotting the speech and turning their backs on Israel.
"Kamala Harris & the Democrats have a SERIOUS anti-Semitism problem," Donalds wrote on X. "They cheer-on pro-Hamas agitators. They no-show Netanyahu's arrival. They refuse to attend his speech. They hide their meetings for optics. They take American Jews for granted."
According to the Times of Israel, Biden was previously slated to meet with Netanyahu on Tuesday, but the meeting was pushed back because the president was reportedly quarantining in Delaware after testing positive for COVID-19. The news outlet reported that the meeting was rescheduled for Thursday.
Netanyahu is expected to have a separate meeting with Harris the same day, the Times of Israel reported. Additionally, it noted that Trump plans to sit down with Netanyahu on Friday at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Trump confirmed the Friday meeting in a post on social media that included a letter from Mahmoud Abbas, the president of Palestine. Abbas' correspondence condemned the recent assassination attempt againstTrump.
In his post, Trump wrote, "Looking forward to seeing Bibi Netanyahu on Friday, and even more forward to achieving Peace in the Middle East!"
Meanwhile, thousands of pro-Hamas protesters are expected to gather at Capitol Hill to protest the prime minister's visit and push Congress to pull funding from Israel.

The House of Representatives just passed a major bill to combat "anti-Semitism" and had the majority of both parties on board.
The bill itself is described as enforcing the Department of Education to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Allies definition of anti-Semitism when enforcing the 1964 Civil Rights Act on college campuses.
Its opposition consisted of only 21 Republicans and 70 Democrats.
While the bill was passed under the guise of fighting anti-Semitism, Glenn Beck realizes what it’s really about: criminalizing hate speech.
“When I hear people say ‘the Jews killed Jesus’ or ‘those dirty Jews run the world’ or ‘those Jews are responsible for everything bad’ or ‘you’re just saying things because you have a Zionist master,’ I think to myself, you’re a bloody idiot,” Glenn says.
“You shouldn’t be running around saying these things, but I kind of actually like it when you do because I know exactly who you are,” he adds.
Despite the way he feels about people who are anti-Semitic, it doesn’t change the way he feels about the bill.
“I am dead set against this, and you should be too. Something can be legally permissible and morally repulsive at the same time. Speech needs to be protected, not the stuff we all agree on, but the stuff we don’t agree on,” he explains.
“The people who voted for this bill, I’m sure it was well-intended, but they’re misguided by human nature itself. Governments cannot fix human hearts,” he continues, asking, “Why is it this Congress can only pass the things that seemingly only hurt the strength of America and only cut across the Constitution?”

President Joe Biden is doing whatever he can to secure the Muslim vote in the 2024 election, stopping just short of demanding a yellow star on Jewish-made products from the West Bank.
His administration is now weighing whether to change the way products made by Jews in Judea and Samaria, which make up the West Bank, are labeled.
The rule would force these products to state that they were made in the West Bank instead of in Israel, allegedly as a way to make boycotting them easier. It would also reverse a policy enacted by former President Donald Trump that required goods made in Judea and Samira to be labeled as made in Israel.
“What do you think if we just put like a little yellow star on all those products?” Glenn Beck mocks, adding, “if you buy those products, maybe you get striped pajamas with a little yellow star on it.”
“This hopefully will help win over that gentleman that was speaking so nicely in front of the ‘Death of America’ crowd. Maybe he can win that swing vote,” Stu Burguiere adds, referencing the protest in Dearborn, Michigan, during which Muslim were chanting ‘death to America.’
Glenn believes this move by the Biden administration would put the United States of America “on the side of evil now.”
“You have the government coming out and condemning Israel and trying to get the vote of those people who are on the streets condemning America. We are on the side of evil,” he laments.

The Israel-Hamas war has consumed the voices of many respected figures on the right for months now, and Tucker Carlson is tired of it.
“There are people on the right who have spent the last two months, every single day, focused on a conflict in a foreign country as our own country becomes dangerously unstable,” Carlson told Saagar Enjeti on "Breaking Points."
The person on the right Carlson was using as an example is Ben Shapiro, and the instability he’s referring to is that our country is “on the brink of financial collapse with tens of millions of people who shouldn’t be here.”
“We don’t know their identities or the purpose of their being here,” Carlson continues, “stuff that could destroy the country for real and make it impossible for my kids to live here.”
Carlson claims that these talking heads on the right have said nothing about that.
“They’re focused with laser intensity on foreign conflicts,” he says. “They don’t care about the country at all.”
In a rare moment, Dave Rubin disagrees with Tucker.
“I’m sorry, that is just a seriously low-IQ take and really low-hanging fruit and dishonest by Tucker,” Rubin says.

Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro are no strangers to controversy.
As two of the Daily Wire’s most famous talking heads, they’ve spent years slamming the Left as well as other conservatives — but now they’re taking shots at each other.
The pair’s differing views on the Israel-Hamas conflict have escalated any tensions they already had with each other rapidly, to the point that Shapiro is now calling for Owens to quit the Daily Wire.
And this is all playing out for the world to see on X.
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God,” Owens tweeted, quoting the biblical verse.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”
“You cannot serve both God and money,” she added.
Shapiro, either correctly or incorrectly assumed the tweet was a dig at him, and responded: “Candace, if you feel that taking money from The Daily Wire somehow comes between you and God, by all means quit.”
Owens then accused Shapiro of acting “unprofessional and emotionally unhinged” for the past few weeks regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict.
It appears the timing of Candace’s tweet was important, as Candace had just recorded an interview with Tucker Carlson — who was set to release parts of the interview later that night.
In the interview, he plays a video of Ben Shapiro calling Owens’ behavior toward the Israel-Hamas conflict “disgraceful.”
Owens told Carlson she refuses to respond to Shapiro with the same ad hominem attacks and said she would be embarrassed if caught disparaging co-workers on camera like Shapiro was.
“I think the video speaks more to Ben’s character then it does to mine,” she added.
Dave Rubin, who has been acquainted with Owens and Shapiro for years and was even at Owens’ wedding, believes that Owens might be trying to get fired.
“Candace’s contract has got to be coming to an end — I suppose in six months or a year or something like that. And obviously Ben has sort of had it with her,” Rubin says. “And she kind of wants to get fired.”
“The best thing for her would be to be fired because then she could use that as fuel to go do something else,” he adds.

One of Turning Point USA’s staffers was attacked by pro-Hamas supporters in Skokie, Illinois, over the weekend.
This happened at a pro-Israel event when roughly 200 pro-Palestinian protesters showed up for a counter-rally. There were reports of a gunshot and of a Chicago police officer, as well as two civilians, needing treatment for minor injuries.
In a video from the event, the TP USA staffer was violently attacked for helping a Jewish person who was attempting to get to their car.
“Right here in the United States,” Mark Levin says, disturbed.
“It’s going to get worse before it gets better with our media, with the Democrat Party, with our colleges and universities, with the Students for Justice in Palestine — a Hamas front group,” Levin adds.
Levin believes the rise in anti-Semitism on college campuses has a lot to do with tenured Marxist professors.
“I’m so proud of and grateful for a governor like Ron DeSantis who says any group on any college campus in Florida that has ties to or supports terrorism we’re shutting down. Any administrator, any educator who refuses to do so will be suspended and fired,” Levin says.
The recent attack at the pro-Israel event isn’t the only example of what’s happening on college campuses now.
The day after the Hamas attack on Israel, more than 30 student groups at Harvard signed a public letter holding the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.
“They are giving support, aid, and comfort to Hamas. Hamas sees this. Terrorists around the world see this,” Levin explains, adding, “They don’t see peace in our time. They see people supporting terrorism.”
