Elon Musk says young kids who believe in Santa cannot grasp the idea of 'gender'

Elon Musk, who has been decrying the practice of performing gender-transition measures on children, said in a tweet on Friday that young children who believe in Santa Claus are not capable of comprehending the idea of "gender."

Musk had previously shared a meme that features a pregnant woman asking a physician whether her child is a boy or a girl, to which the doctor replies, "We'll let the kindergarten teacher decide."

Someone replied to Musk's post by sharing a meme that features a photo of a child and text that reads, "YOU'RE TELLING ME I CAN'T PICK MY BEDTIME BUT I CAN PICK MY GENDER?"

Musk responded, "Kids who are so young they think Santa is literally true obviously cannot understand the concept of 'gender.'"

Musk has previously indicated that he will lobby to criminalize the performance of gender-transition measures on kids who are younger than the age of consent.

"This is a major problem. I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! It is utterly contemptible," he declared.

Musk has also noted that "'gender-affirming care for minors' is pure evil."

The term "gender-affirming care" refers to measures such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries that do precisely the opposite of affirming an individual's immutable biological sex.

Musk, who has been outspoken in opposing gender transitions for children, has also weighed in on the new federal indictment of former President Donald Trump. Trump announced on Thursday that his attorneys had been notified that he had been indicted. Trump also said he had been summoned to appear at a federal courthouse on Tuesday.

"There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics. Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust," Musk tweeted on Thursday.

"Almost everyone would agree that no one is above the law, but it must be applied equally. Differential pursuit of justice undermines public faith in the system," he tweeted on Friday.

Pro-LGBT advocacy group declares state of emergency for LGBTQ+ Americans

The Human Rights Campaign, a pro-LGBT advocacy group, has declared a state of emergency for LGBT people in America.

"LGBTQ+ Americans are living in a state of emergency. The multiplying threats facing millions in our community are not just perceived — they are real, tangible and dangerous. In many cases they are resulting in violence against LGBTQ+ people, forcing families to uproot their lives and flee their homes in search of safer states, and triggering a tidal wave of increased homophobia and transphobia that puts the safety of each and every one of us at risk," HRC President Kelley Robinson said, according to a press release.

"There is an imminent threat to the health and safety of millions of LGBTQ+ people and families, who are living every day in uncertainty and fear," Robinson claimed.

The organization, which supports radical leftist gender ideology, opposes various commonsense state measures around the U.S., such as laws that prohibit performing gender-transition measures on minors and laws that ban boys and men from playing girls' and women's sports.

"Transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming youth in particular have been directly impacted by anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, losing access to life saving medical care, comprehensive and inclusive education, and activities, spaces, and facilities," the press release declares.

Retail giant Target recently faced a wave of criticism for selling pro-LGBT products, including products for kids and a few items from a brand that also sells products with the message "Satan respects pronouns." Target had not been offering the Satan-related items from that brand. In response to the groundswell of negative consumer sentiment, Target announced that it would remove some items, though the company noted that it remained fully supportive of the LGBT movement.

"For more than a decade, Target has offered an assortment of products aimed at celebrating Pride Month. Since introducing this year's collection, we've experienced threats impacting our team members' sense of safety and well-being while at work. Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior. Our focus now is on moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and standing with them as we celebrate Pride Month and throughout the year," the company said in a statement last month.

But on Monday, the HRC and other groups demanded that Target "release a public statement in the next 24 hours reaffirming their commitment to the LGBTQ+ community," "put Pride merchandise back on the sales floor and online in full," and "ensure safety of team members who are on the front lines."

Celebrity business magnate Elon Musk has publicly decried the practice of performing gender-transition measures on children. In a tweet on Sunday, Musk declared that "'gender-affirming care for minors' is pure evil."

"I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! It is utterly contemptible," Musk wrote in a tweet last week.

Elon Musk calls out 'gender-affirming care for minors' as 'pure evil'

Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk is continuing to speak out against permitting gender-transition measures to be performed on minors, declaring in a tweet that "'gender-affirming care for minors' is pure evil."

Musk made the comment in response to a tweet from Jordan Peterson, who had declared that the "phrase 'gender-affirming' care is a criminally evil lie."

The term refers to measures such as surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers, which do almost the exact opposite of affirming an individual's immutable biological sex.

Musk indicated in a tweet last week that he intends to lobby to "criminalize" the performance of permanent gender-transition measures on kids prior to the age of consent.

"This is a major problem. I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! It is utterly contemptible," he declared.

In an April tweet, Musk said that he believes "we should wait until an individual is mature enough to make their own decisions before other adults make permanent, serious physical changes to them."

On Sunday, Musk responded to a Twitter account called The Rabbit Hole that had tweeted, "'Gender Affirming Care' is in the best of cases a euphemism for a paid yes-man to continually affirm delusions and in the worst of cases a euphemism for putting children on horrible drugs or outright child mutilation."

"It means castration," Musk replied.

Musk has said that he uses people's preferred pronouns as a matter of "good manners."

"I should note that I do personally use someone's preferred pronouns, just as I use someone's preferred name, simply from the standpoint of good manners," he tweeted.

'Shame on those who advocate this!' Elon Musk says he will push 'to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent'

Elon Musk has indicated that he will actively push to criminalize the performing permanent gender-transition measures on children who have not reached the age of consent.

"This is a major problem. I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! It is utterly contemptible," Musk wrote in a tweet on Thursday.

In an April tweet, Musk had noted, "My position is simply that we should wait until an individual is mature enough to make their own decisions before other adults make permanent, serious physical changes to them."

Musk, who owns Twitter, has said that he uses people's preferred pronouns, just like he uses preferred names, as a matter of "good manners."

“@JeremyDBoreing @realDailyWire This was a mistake by many people at Twitter. It is definitely allowed.

Whether or not you agree with using someone’s preferred pronouns, not doing so is at most rude and certainly breaks no laws.

I should note that I do personally use someone’s preferred pronouns, just as I…”

The Daily Wire's Jeremy Boreing published a tweet thread on Thursday detailing the company's experience planning to share and promote Matt Walsh's "What Is a Woman?" documentary on Twitter.

Boreing said that the social media platform offered the chance "to buy a package to host the movie on a dedicated event page and to promote the event to every Twitter user over the first 10 hours."

The conservative company signed an agreement, Boreing said, but after Twitter reviewed the documentary, the social media platform not only rescinded the advertising opportunity but also said it would limit the movie's reach.

"After reviewing the film, though, Twitter let us know that not only could we no longer purchase the package they offered, they would no longer provide us any support and would actually limit the reach of the film and label it as 'hateful conduct' because of 'misgendering,'" Boreing tweeted. "When we asked how much they would limit the visibility if we posted the film anyway, Twitter replied that our own followers would not be able to see it in their feeds. This, they said, is part of their 'speech not reach' policy," he noted.

Boreing noted that the company planned to post the film on Thursday evening anyway.

The Daily Wire's tweet containing the movie currently carries a "Visibility Limited" label that says the tweet might breach the platform's "rules against Hateful Conduct." Comments, retweets, and likes are all currently disabled on the post.

"We're updating the system tomorrow so that those who follow @realDailyWire will see this in their feed, but it won’t be recommended to non-followers (nor will any advertising be associated with it)," Musk said of the Daily Wire's post. "Commenting & deliberate sharing will be allowed. Sensitive content just won't be pushed to people unless they ask for it or a friend sends it to them," Musk tweeted.
