Journalist Steve Baker Goes UNDER COVER at DNC — here's what he saw

Investigative reporter Steve Baker went under cover at the DNC in Chicago — and what he found was surprising.

“We’re not going to be able to reveal one of these James O’Keefe or Project Veritas-type moments, because it just doesn’t happen with just basic political conversation,” Baker tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.”

“And here’s why: It’s because the speeches, the speakers at the DNC, are already saying all of the most radical things with their outside voices,” he continues, noting that they did have conversations with “quite a few important people within the Democratic Party.”

“We’re not going to be able to get those surprise, shocking, statements, because what’s shocking any more coming from them? They’re as extreme as they can possibly be,” he adds.

Baker’s overall impression of the people he met at the DNC is that they’re “a party of people that are motivated by their feelings.”

“They’re motivated by an image and not by the numbers. The facts, the math, that’s not how they’re processing their own politics. It is a feelings-based party,” Baker explains. “It is the way they look, it is the way they feel, it is who they choose to sleep with, how they dress, what gender they decide to be, and it’s all based on feelings.”

“Of course,” he continues, “obviously the overriding sacrament of abortion seems to be the largest driving factor for the Democratic machine.”

Baker did get to take in the sentiment regarding the party’s presidential candidates — Kamala Harris and VP pick Tim Walz — and what he saw was a little concerning.

As he watched Kamala’s DNC speech in a Chicago hotel bar, around a hundred people filled in alongside him.

“People were cheering in the bar area; waitstaff would stop and just gush over her; they were cheering at the end of the speech; they cheered very much,” Baker says. “And of course, the people that we talked to last night told us many of them have been to several conventions, the DNC meetings, and they said it was the best speech they had ever seen.”

However, most of those supporting her aren’t caught up with her policy proposals and like her for an entirely different reason.

“This is their moment in history, because they are excited about a woman of color finally becoming president of this country. Doesn’t matter what the issues are; it’s more about the looks, the feelings, the packaging than it is the actual issues,” Baker says.

WATCH: Joe Rogan makes chilling prediction about Kamala Harris’ odds of winning

Before Kamala’s overnight media makeover, she was widely considered by both the right and the left as a failure of a vice president. Her popularity among the people was low, she was constantly getting grilled for her apparent lack of intelligence (i.e., word salads), and she remains to date the most radical leftist candidate the nation has ever seen.

But then the media stepped in and gave her the makeover of the century.

“Everybody forever was like, ‘Kamala Harris is the worst vice president; she's the least popular vice president of all time,’ and then in a moment ... all of a sudden, ‘She's our solution; she's our hero; everybody's with her,’” Joe Rogan told Michael Malice on a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

- YouTubeyoutu.be

It seems the public — or at least those who pay attention to the mainstream media — is suffering from memory loss, as mere weeks ago, Harris was widely considered a failure. How is it that those same people are now backing her?

Rogan called it “fragility of the human mind.”

“She’s gonna win,” he told Malice.

“I feel like we are in this very bizarre time where people are giving in in a way that I never suspected people would before. ... They just want no Trump no matter what, and they're willing to gaslight themselves to think that,” he explained.

The other reason he thinks Harris has a solid chance of winning is because the search engines, especially Google, have made anything that paints her in a negative light magically disappear — which has been critical in her makeover.

“Try Googling a negative story on her. You won’t find one,” Rogan said.

Simultaneously, if you Google Donald Trump, you’ll find pages of negative stories about him — even in the wake of his near-assassination.

Malice said that this programming “can tip the scale” and “move the needle.”

Kamala Harris mocked over word salad in first unscripted comment since becoming candidate

Presidential candidate Kamala Harris gave her first unscripted comments since seizing the top slot of the Democratic ticket, and many were underwhelmed.

Harris was praising President Joe Biden after he agreed to a prisoner exchange deal with Russia.

'We got our people back, but boy we make some horrible, horrible deals,'

"This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy," said Harris on Thursday evening with Biden at her side.

Harris has been mocked previously for repeating simplistic phrases and trite aphorisms, and this latest comment was not spared from online ridicule. Critics have also noted that Harris is avoiding interviews and questions from the media.

"She struggles to form significant or coherent thoughts off script, which is why she loops back to the same simple thought w/ scrambled language. This has been her speech pattern for yrs," responded blogger Jackie Chea.

"Biden’s standing there, mouth agape, wondering if his brain just died or if Kamala is just not making sense again," read one response.

"She really is as stupid as she sounds. Not sure who said it, but she really is the kid in class who didn't read the assigned book for a book report and is trying to maker her teacher believe that she did," said another user.

Video of Harris' comment was posted to X by the Republican National Committee, where it garnered more than 3.7 million views.

Former President Donald Trump weighed in on the prisoner swap and congratulated Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin in order to criticize Biden.

“We got our people back, but boy we make some horrible, horrible deals,” Trump said at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia. “It’s nice to say we got ’em back, but does that set a bad precedent?” he added.

Airball: Kamala tries to make March Madness about sexism, says women's basketball tournament wasn't allowed to have brackets until 2022

Vice President Kamala Harris suffered another verbal blunder this week when she falsely proclaimed that the NCAA women's basketball tournament was "not allowed" to have brackets until 2022.

Harris attempted to claim that March Madness is swamped with sexism, which has caused women's college basketball to be less popular than men's. However, the vice president bricked her sexism claim by falsely declaring that women's college basketball teams were prohibited from having tournament brackets until 2022.

On Thursday, Harris spoke with Spectrum News at an event in Charlotte, North Carolina. Reporter Tim Boyum noted that this year's NCAA women's basketball tournament had been doing "extraordinarily well."

The Sports Business Journal reported that the women's basketball tournament is averaging 812,000 viewers through the second round, a 108% increase from last year.

When asked whether she had been watching March Madness, Kamala responded, "I have been watching it." Harris added that she had been watching the basketball tournament with Doug Emhoff, her husband and second gentleman of the United States.

A very confident Harris pronounced, "Do you know? Okay, a bit of a history lesson. Do you know that women were not. The women’s teams were not allowed to have brackets until 2022. Think about that."

She continued, "And what? That. Talk about progress. You know better late than never, but progress and what that has done."

Harris doubled down on her contention, "And even just now allowing the women to have brackets and what that does to encourage people to talk more about the women’s teams, to watch them now they’re being covered, you know, and and this is the reality people used to say are women’s sports. Who’s interested? Well, if you can’t see it, you won’t be. But when you see it, you realize, oh."

The vice president's office admitted to Mediaite that Harris had misspoken.

The spokesperson claimed Harris meant to say that the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament didn't receive March Madness marketing and branding until 2022.

However, people have been filling out women's basketball tournament brackets since 1982 when the first NCAA women's tournament was played.

In fact, Kamala's husband filled out a women's college basketball tournament bracket in 2021. Harris even retweeted Emhoff's tweet showing a photo of his picks for the men's and women's NCAA tournaments in 2021.

Former President Barack Obama has been filling out a women's basketball tournament every year since 2009, according to Sports Illustrated.

Sleepy Joe’s reaction to Kamala Harris’ latest word salad is PRICELESS

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have many things in common, the most notable being their mutual desire to implode the nation.

But they’re also on par when it comes to the art of rhetoric. Both are laughably inarticulate – she’s a master of word salads, while he’s adept at confusing everyone with his incoherent, slurred speech.

A perfect union.

At a recent roundtable meeting with President Biden, Al Sharpton, and other civil rights leaders, the VP delivered (or shall we say attempted to deliver) a speech about the Jacksonville shooting.

Per usual, her delivery was a hot mess.

“Our country was founded on many noble principles, including ‘e pluribus unum’ – out of many, one,” she begins, “and to live up to those ideals, I think at this moment in time requires moral clarity on behalf of every American about what is at stake right now.”

“The vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us, yet there are those who are intentionally trying to divide us as a nation,” she continues.

“Yeah, two of them are sitting right there at that table,” interjects Pat Gray.

“I believe each of us has a duty – a duty to not allow factions to sever our unity,” she drones, adding that “our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our power as a nation.”

If that gibberish wasn’t ironic, hypocritical, and ridiculous enough, just wait, because while Kamala blathers on and on about the threat to the unity of the country, Sleepy Joe is putting on his own show. Although we’re pretty sure he doesn’t even know it.

Pat plays the video again but this time zeroes in on the president, who looks like he just woke up after months of hibernation.

Not only is his mouth hanging open, but he also seems to be randomly flipping through the pages of his binder (at a glacial pace, of course).

“I think he realizes halfway through her speaking – ‘oh, you’re talking?”’ Keith points out.

“Close your mouth, Joe,” Pat says.

Kamala Harris declares US must 'reduce population' to combat climate change in yet another gaffe

Vice President Kamala Harris made yet another gaffe during a speech about green energy on Friday. In Kamala's latest slip-up, she accidentally said the United States needs to "reduce population" in order to combat climate change.

Harris gave a speech about "building a clean energy economy" at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Harris touted President Joe Biden's "ambitious goal" of reducing America's greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 and having the U.S. economy reach net zero emissions by no later than 2050 — with or without approval from Congress.

She argued that the "climate crisis" is "one of the most urgent matters of our time," adding that we "must act" because "it is clear that the clock is not only ticking, it is banging."

Harris told the audience, "When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breathe clean air and drink clean water."

— (@)

The words "reduce population" was a trending topic on Twitter on Saturday morning.

Many immediately interpreted the faux pas as a Freudian slip revealing a conspiracy theory that the government plans to carry out population control to fight climate change.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) asked, "Are you the population she wants to reduce?"

The White House website rushed to clarify the vice president's statement, noting that Harris meant to say "pollution" instead of "population."

Friday's verbal gaffe came just days after Harris was mocked for attempting to explain artificial intelligence.

"I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing. First of all, it's two letters. It means artificial intelligence, but ultimately what it is, is it's about machine learning," Harris said on Wednesday during a roundtable discussion at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C.

On Tuesday, Harris made yet another head-scratching comment.

Kamala said, "This issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go! It's that basic."

Earlier this month, Harris was ridiculed for her word salad explanation about what culture is.

Last month, Harris notched the worst net approval rating for a vice president in NBC News polling history.

VP Harris touts spending $5 billion on electric school buses, gets hit with reality check when she claims diesel fuel affects children's 'ability to learn'

Vice President Kamala Harris has made no secret of the fact that she loves Venn diagrams, but her new love is "yellow school buses." Harris gushed about yellow school buses during a speech in Seattle on Wednesday.

Harris appeared at Lumen Field along with four electric school buses to announce that nearly $1 billion was awarded to 389 school districts in all 50 states to replace gas-powered buses with electric buses. The $965 million in electric bus grants is part of a five-year program that will dole out $5 billion and is funded by the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed in 2021.

“Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus? 25 million children a day go to school on a bus. But 95% use diesel fuel, which is harmful to public health & our planet.

Today, I announced school districts across all 50 states will receive $1 billion from @EPA’s Clean School Bus Program.”
— Vice President Kamala Harris (@Vice President Kamala Harris) 1666828861

"I’m here because of you, by the way. I’m here because of all of our young leaders who are here. It is you who has motivated the work that we are doing that is demonstrated by these beautiful yellow school buses," Harris began her speech. "And so I’m — I’m just so happy to be with all of you."

Harris asked those in attendance, "So here’s the thing: Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right? Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus, right?"

"Just — there’s something about the — and — and most of us, many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right? And it’s part of — it’s part of our — our experience growing up," she added. "It’s part of, you know, a nostalgia and a memory of — of the excitement and joy of going to school to be with your favorite teacher, to be with your best friends, and to learn."

Harris declared, "And today, 95% of our school buses are fueled with diesel fuel, which contributes to very serious conditions that are about health and about the ability to learn."

Harris said, "So, when I think about what the experience should be for our children of going to school on the school bus, I think about the fact that it should be about maximizing that experience for them, understanding that this bus symbolizes so much about our collective investment in our future. Because, of course, it is about our investment in our children, in their health, and in their education."

"And that’s the announcement today — $5 billion over the next five years — what we are doing today is the first of those billion dollars, $1 billion — through grant proposals from the 50 states — distributing to the 50 states an investment for their ability, starting the next school year — next school year — to roll these buses out to pick up our kids and take them to school," the vice president said.

She claimed that the $5 billion electric school bus transition "really does represent an intersection of all those points."

Harris remarked on climate change, "We owe it to our children to, right now, take these issues very seriously. The clock is ticking loudly."

"We are witnessing, around our country and around the world, the effects of extreme climate," she continued. "There is a direct correlation that, thankfully, as we progress as a nation, is not being debated, which is the correlation between all of that and human behaviors."

In May, Harris said the transition to electric buses was important because drivers could "hear the road."

"Now, I’ve spoken to a number of drivers, for example, who have recently switched to electric buses. And they stressed the importance of a quiet engine, which is much bigger than just you can have a conversation and hear each other; it helps the drivers hear the road, which, of course, helps keep our children safer."

“KAMALA: Gas powered school buses contribute "to very serious conditions" that affect children's "ability to learn."”
— Townhall.com (@Townhall.com) 1666805544

Harris was hit with a reality check for her claim that diesel fuel affects children's "ability to learn." Reactions on Twitter reminded Vice President Harris that Democrats closing schools during the pandemic severely impacted students' ability to learn.

Republican New York House candidate Tom Zmich: "You mean getting them to School in places where Democrats aren't forcing them to do failed remote learning."

CEO Joe Colangelo: "Yes, gas-powered school buses seriously affect children's ability to learn by getting them to school."

Republican strategist Jessica Proud: "The buses are to blame for kids falling behind in school not keeping them out of the classroom for a year."

CNN contributor Mary Katharine Ham: "In one of the more darkly humorous moments of the pandemic area, one of our Fairfax Co. school board members bragged about the fleet of electric school buses he secured. Kids hadn’t been on buses for 10 mos and wouldn’t be back on them for 3 more. But big pats on the back!"

Small government advocacy group FreedomWorks: "Seriously? It's unhinged Democrats who affect children's 'ability to learn.' It was liberals who kept kids out of school for well over a year."

Republican Missouri state Senator Dr. Bob Onder: "Ah... school buses are why test scores are plummeting?"

Political writer Jordan Boyd: "You know what really hurts children's 'ability to learn?' Shutting down schools. That definitely contributes to 'very serious conditions' but I don't see anyone in the Biden admin banning teachers unions and punishing the health bureaucrats who sentenced kids to screens."

Radio host Dana Loesch: "Now do shutting down schools for nearly two years."

Test scores of American students plummeted during the COVID-19 pandemic, when many places closed schools for long periods of time.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress – known as the "nation's report card" – recently revealed that math scores had the largest decrease since the program began in 1969 and reading scores dropped to levels not seen since 1992.

A 2020 Democratic National Committee attack ad criticized former President Donald Trump for wanting to open schools.

An April 2021 report from Reason found that the top 10 states with the most schools open for in-person instruction were all red states. At the same time, the worst states for reopening schools were all blue states.

Kamala Harris says 'we' invested $12 billion into community banks because community banks are in communities

Vice President Kamala Harris has once again tossed one of her world-famous word salads and served it up with her special brand of speech-loop sauce. It's no secret that our nation's second in command has a tendency to get stuck repeating the same word or phrase over and over again — and today's word du jour is "community."

“We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community,” Harris can be seen saying in a video clip now circulating on Twitter.
