Joe Biden Needs To Stop Lying To Gold Star Families That His Son Died In Iraq
Biden has a disgusting habit of making moments when he should be offering gratitude to service members and their families about himself instead.
The older brother of a U.S. Marine who was killed during the tumultuous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan last August has reportedly committed suicide at the memorial for the fallen soldier.
On Aug. 26, 2021, a suicide bombing killed 13 U.S. service members and 170 Afghan citizens during the U.S. evacuation at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.
One of the American soldiers murdered was Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20, from Norco, California.
Fox News reported that Nikoui's older brother – 28-year-old Dakota Halverson – "died by suicide during a recent memorial service for the fallen service member."
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said that Dakota Halverson died on Aug. 9, but did not provide more details.
Rep. Mike Garcia (R-Calif.) reacted to the tragic news, "Every service member we lose leaves behind a hole in their families, their communities, and our nation. The 13 heroes we lost last year in Afghanistan are no different, and I’m heartbroken to hear about the loss of Dakota. My prayers are with his family."
Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla) stated, "The older brother of one of the 13 KIA in Kabul recently killed himself at his little brother’s memorial. Please pray for his family. There MUST be accountability for this continued carnage."
Townhall writer Julio Rosas shared a Facebook post from Shana Chappell – the mother of the two deceased men.
"The month of August has been very hard so far with the one year coming up," Chappell wrote. "I look at my kids as strong and like they can handle anything. That was my mistake."
"My son Dakota has been talking a lot lately about how he just wants to be with Kareem, how much he misses him, etc.... We all feel that way so I didn't see the signs," she continued.
"This morning my son Dakota went to be with His brother Kareem," Chappell announced.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched for donations towards Halverson's funeral.
"Dakota Halverson was a loving son, brother, and friend," the description of the crowdfunding campaign read. "Losing his brother nearly one year ago has proven too difficult to bear."
"Any donations for his burial and services would be greatly appreciated as he wanted to be buried next to his brother Kareem, who was killed August 26th, 2021, while serving his country," the listing said.
Chappell has been an outspoken critic of President Joe Biden and the deadly U.S. evacuation from Afghanistan that took the life of her son.
Last August, Chappell bashed Biden after meeting with the president.
Chappell slammed Biden in a Facebook post, "MY SONS BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS!!! All 13 of them, their blood is on your hands!!!! If my President Trump was in his rightful seat then my son and the other [heroes] would still be alive!!!!"
The Instagram account of a mother whose son was slain last week during a terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan was deleted but later restored, with Facebook explaining that the account had been "incorrectly deleted."
Shana Chappell, the mother of 20-year-old Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kareem M. Nikoui who was one of the 13 U.S. service members killed last week during the attack, took to Facebook after her Instagram account had been deleted.
"It seems Instagram took it upon themselves to delete my account because i am assuming it was because i gained so many followers over my sons death due to Biden's negligence, ignorance and him being a traitor!" Chappell wrote in part of a Facebook post on Monday.
The woman's post included an image of an Instagram notice which declared, "Your account has been disabled. Follow the next steps within 30 days so you can request a review."
"Keep in mind i only posted about my heart break over my son," she wrote in the Facebook post. "Those of u who follow me on IG seen the post. My post was even shared on the news and now IG has disabled my account because of that post! Guess today I'll accept those interviews from newsmax, fox, etc…Instagram you can not silence me!!! You deleted my account because my sons blood is on Biden's hands!! 13 Heros blood is on Biden's hands!!!!"
Facebook indicated that the account has been restored
"We express our deepest condolences to Ms. Chappell and her family," a Facebook spokesperson informed Fox News in a statement on Tuesday. "Her tribute to her heroic son does not violate any of our policies. While the post was not removed, her account was incorrectly deleted and we have since restored it."
Chappell has issued scathing criticism of President Biden, who presided over what many have characterized as a botched Afghanistan withdrawal.
In another Facebook post earlier on Monday the grieving mother alleged that during an exchange she had with Biden, the president rolled his eyes:
Remember i am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know i would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and i had to tell you "that this isn't about you so don't make it about you!!!" You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how i feel and i let you know that you don't know how i feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how i feel! U then rolled your fucking eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and i let you know that the only reason i was talking to you was out of respect for my son and that was the only reason why, i then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him again etc… u turned to walk away and i let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me like you were saying " ok whatever!!!
