Drag shows and deportation evasion — meet the Texas 'church' that has locals screaming

We hear about family-friendly LGBTQ+ pride events all the time. It’s a sad reality of the times we’re living in. But a family-friendly drag event hosted by a church? Now that is something you don’t hear about every day.

On this episode of “Come and Take It,” Sara Gonzales exposes a Pride festival at a Texas church that will have your jaw on the floor.

The event, which was put on by Carrollton Pride, was hosted at the Horizon Unitarian Universalist Church in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

“Just something about all of this stuff being on church grounds, I never get used to it,” says Sara, who attended the event and captured footage of some of the activities, including a drag-themed bingo game where children sat looking deeply uncomfortable.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence — a nonprofit group of queer and trans activists who dress as nuns in drag to promote LGBTQ+ rights — was one group that was present at the event.

“Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have had, I don't know, just a few run-ins with the law when it comes to gross things with kids,” Sara reminds, referencing past cases.

However, when Sara explored the actual church, its hosting of the Pride event suddenly made perfect sense. Not only were there “trans-inclusive bathrooms,” “pronoun workshops,” “LGBTQIA+ themed worship services,” and messages about “reproductive justice,” but there were also several informational pamphlets for congregants, such as “Care and Treatment for HIV, Hepatitis-C, and Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases,” “Intersex 101,” “Environmental Justice,” “Let’s Celebrate Non-Binary Parents!” and “A Unitarian Universalist People of Color Ministry.”

The most shocking pamphlet, however, instructed congregants on how to protect illegal immigrants — who were, of course, misleadingly called just “immigrants” — from law enforcement. Titled “How U.S. Citizens Can Protect the Immigrant Community from the Deportation Force,” the document contains a bulleted list explaining how to help illegal immigrants evade “Trump’s deportation force.”

One of the bullet points on the list actually advises congregants to “identify folks who would be interested in risking arrest to support stopping the raid.”

“What I'm reading is that they are saying you should find people willing to break the law and to obstruct a law enforcement official from doing their job,” says Sara.

“This is not a church of God,” she condemns. This is a church of some “fake religion” rooted in “liberalism and leftist ideology.”

Texas bans ‘sex clubs’ from classrooms — and Democrats are outraged

A new Texas Parental Rights in Education Bill is heading to the governor’s desk, with its purpose being to protect children in the state of Texas from being sexualized by their schools.

Senate Bill 12 from state Senator Brandon Creighton (R) aims to ban instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity from pre-K through 12th grade, as well as prohibit school employees from promoting or requiring DEI efforts.

“Thank you Texas House and Texas Senate for passing this, for getting this through this session, but seriously, we need a bill to prevent teachers from instructing children on sexual identity,” BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales says on “Come and Take It.”

“Where I’m from, they just call that kind of practice ‘pedophilia,’” she adds.

The most controversial part of the final bill is the ban on “school-sponsored sex clubs based on sexual identity,” which includes a club active across the country called the Gay Straight Alliance Club.

“Democrats obviously are very salty, very bitter, about the idea of not being able to sexually indoctrinate young children through sex clubs, which again, is like wow, why in the world would you be bitter that you can’t indoctrinate children into a sex club?” Gonzales says.

“I mean, the mental illness that you must have to think that as an outsider from these children who are coming into learn, that you should just have the right to indoctrinate them into a sex club, is like, hello, some hard drives need to be checked here,” she continues.

An amendment to the bill by Representative Steve Toth (R) also prohibits schools from socially transitioning other parents' children without parental consent.

“This is really wild, 15 years ago, I never thought that I would be talking about a bill that had to be created by the Texas legislature to protect children from being socially transitioned by their school without telling their parents,” Gonzales says, adding, “Mind blown.”

Here’s a list of the most INSANE things USAID spent YOUR money on

It’s been an exciting week, as Elon Musk and the DOGE have exposed the United States Agency for International Development for wasting our tax dollars on the most far-leftist, anti-American, and just outright stupid causes.

While the American public at large is just now learning that USAID has been squandering our hard-earned money by the billions on dangerous and laughable causes alike, Glenn Beck has been sounding the alarm on USAID for years.

“USAID, as we have always told you, is an arm of the CIA. Anything that is too risky to do that you just don't want to do in the CIA because somebody's paying attention, you do it at USAID,” he says.

“All the color revolutions that happened all around the world, they were done by us. The Arab Spring was done by us. … It was USAID,” he adds.

While the mainstream media are working overtime to write off every shocking revelation as a conspiracy theory and spin a narrative of Trump cruelty, their claims are easily debunked with receipts, which, thanks to the DOGE, we now have in abundance.

Glenn reads some of the most shocking evidence of USAID’s prodigal spending.

 • “$7.9 million to teach Sri Lankan journalists how to avoid binary gendered language”
 • “$4.5 million to combat disinformation in Kazakhstan”
 • “$2 million for sex changes and LGBT activism in Guatemala”
 • “$2.1 million to help the BBC value the diversity of Libyan society”
 • “$10 million worth of USAID-funded meals went to an al-Qaeda linked terrorist group”
 • “$6 million for tourism in Egypt”
 • "$5 million to EcoHealth Alliance, one of the key NGOs funding bat virus research in the Wuhan lab”
 • “$1.1 million to an Armenian LGBT group”
 • “$1.5 million to promote LGBT advocacy in Jamaica”
 • “$2 million to promote LGBT equity through entrepreneurship in Latin America”
 • “$2.3 million for artisanal and small-scale gold mining in the Amazon”
 • “$5.5 million for LGBT activism in Uganda”

Glenn and guest co-host Pat Gray point out that the money going to some of these impoverished countries could be legitimately transformative if it were only used for the right reasons instead of advancing leftist political agendas.

“I don't care who you voted for; every American should be pissed off at this,” says Glenn.

The list above is just a fraction of the examples Glenn gives. To hear the full list, watch the episode above.

Trump jokes that Canada should become the 51st state, but THIS recent Canadian ruling is exactly why we DON’T want that

According to a report from Fox News, when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently visited Mar-a-Lago and had dinner with President-elect Donald Trump, he pleaded against Trump’s tariff plan as it would “kill the Canadian economy.”

Trump purportedly responded by saying that “if Canada can't survive without ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion a year, then maybe Canada should become the 51st state and Trudeau could become its governor,” said Fox News’ Peter Doocy.

While Liz Wheeler finds Trump’s joke both “hilarious” and “savage,” she can’t help but cringe at the thought of Canada — the most “disgustingly woke” place in North America — being part of the United States.

She reflects on a Canadian ruling from last month as part of which the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario decided that the town of Emo would be fined a total of $15,000 for refusing to proclaim June Pride Month.

According to reports, Borderland Pride — “a 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride organization based in the Rainy River District of Ontario, Canada” — requested that the town of Emo declare June Pride Month and display a rainbow flag.

“But the township refused, resulting in a yearslong process in which the tribunal ruled against the township. The tribunal ruled that Borderland Pride will be awarded $15,000, with $10,000 coming from the township itself and the other $5,000 coming from Emo mayor Harold McQuaker,” Liz reads.

Lawyer and Borderland Pride director Douglas Judson said, “We didn't pursue this because of the money. We pursued this because we were treated in a discriminatory fashion by a municipal government, and municipalities have obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code not to discriminate in the provision of a service.”

Liz can’t understand how forcing a town to hang a flag qualifies as a “service.”

On top of the fines the town and its mayor must pay, “the Tribunal also ordered McQuaker and the chief administrative officer at the municipality to complete a Human Rights 101 training course offered by the Ontario Human Rights Commission within 30 days.”

“One of the messages it sends to other townships and municipalities is that Pride needs to be in the smallest and most remote communities just as it is in larger cities,” Judson stated.

And that right there — the idea that LGBTQ+ ideology must be forced down everyone’s throats regardless of where they choose to live — is exactly why Liz can’t stomach the idea of the United States absorbing Canada.

“The left never wanted inclusion; they never wanted tolerance; they never wanted to just live their lives and be left alone. They want to force you to worship at their satanic altar,” says Liz. “Canada is one step ahead of even the worst wokeism here in the United States, but we are headed in that direction, so tariff the hell out of them, Mr. President. We don't want them part of the United States.”

Biological man STORMS women's locker room; threatens woman

A St. Louis branch of Life Time Fitness has come under fire after it allegedly adopted a policy that allowed transgender women into the female locker rooms.

The policy ended up empowering a 52-year-old transgender woman, who entered the women’s locker room and proceeded to waltz around in a bikini.

“I look over and I see, you know what I believe to be a man walking in a bikini. He had the full genitalia, the male genitalia,” Cindy Zykan told Jason Whitlock in a recent interview on “Fearless.”

Zykan had received social media threats from the man, who goes by Eris Montano, after she complained. Montano also attempted to visit Zykan’s home in order to intimidate her and her husband, which forced her to file a restraining order.

“This man, who was married for twenty-three years, had a child with his wife of twenty-three years, his wife worked at Life Time Fitness, the man was a member of Life Time Fitness, previously under his male identity,” Jason Whitlock tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.”

“He’s been recently divorced and has decided he’s a woman,” he adds.

Zykan’s complaint resulted in about a week of the man, who is homeless, camping out at the gym in his car — where protests then ensued.

“We’ve seen similar weird things happen at Planet Fitness and other places that are allowing these mentally disturbed people to do this,” Peterson comments, before asking Whitlock how Life Time Fitness responded.

“I think the actual people that work at Life Time Fitness, most of them were sympathetic to their membership, who thought this was outrageous. This guy is showering and grooming with women and children in that locker room,” Whitlock says.

While Life Time Fitness was simply pandering to the transgender agenda that’s been shoved down the country’s throat, it ended up kicking the man out of the club via police force after his threatening social media posts.

While it took a little longer than it should, Whitlock believes that was the right course of action. Though he thinks as a society, we should take it one step further.

“We need to start treating these people that have these gender identity issues like they have some mental concerns that need to be treated,” Whitlock concludes.

'It's because I'm black': Trooper arrests Philly LGBT Affairs head, husband amid traffic stop; trooper now on restricted duty

Pennsylvania State Police placed a trooper on restricted duty after he arrested the head of Philadelphia's Office of LGBT Affairs along with her husband during a traffic stop over the weekend in the city, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

A portion of Saturday's arrest of Celena Morrison and her husband Darius McLean — CEO of a transgender resource center — was caught on video.

While state police charged the couple with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, and summary traffic citations, the paper said the office of city District Attorney Larry Krasner declined the charges, and Morrison and McLean were released from custody Saturday evening.

What are the details?

The Inquirer, citing state police, said the trooper pulled Morrison over on Interstate 676 for driving a grey Infiniti sedan with an expired and suspended registration, driving without headlights activated in the rain, illegally tinted windows, and driving too close to another car.

After the traffic stop, McLean pulled up behind them, the paper said, adding that state police said McLean “became verbally combative” and “refused multiple lawful orders" after the trooper approached him.

The trooper attempted to arrest McLean, and Morrison tried to intervene, the Inquirer said, adding that she also was arrested.

In Morrison's video of the arrest, she was heard yelling, “I work for the mayor! I work for the mayor!” as McLean was lying on the shoulder of the freeway, the paper said.

"Please, just stop. No! It's cause I'm black," McLean was heard saying, according to WPVI-TV.

"It's not 'cause you're black," the trooper replied, according to the station.

The trooper then walked toward Morrison and told her to "turn around" and "give me your hands, or you are getting tased," WPVI reported. At one point, Morrison was heard saying, “He just punched me," the Inquirer said.

More from the station:

The video continues to record while on the ground.

"This was a simple traffic stop cause you didn't have your lights on. You're tailgating," the officer explains to the couple. "Then, I don't know who you are. I don't need somebody rolling up on me."

"There was no need at all," one person is heard saying.

"You were about to tase me. You pulled your gun on me," another voice says.

"You were fighting with me," says a third voice.

"No, I wasn't fighting you," someone responds.

Anything else?

State police are conducting an internal investigation over the incident, the paper said, adding that during the unnamed trooper's restricted duty, he won't be on patrol.

Jane Roh, spokesperson for the DA’s office, told the Inquirer that no charging decisions have been made, and officials are investigating all aspects of the incident.

The paper added that Mayor Cherelle Parker noted in a social media post, "A video circulating on social media that depicts a portion of the incident is very concerning to me, and I will have no further comment until the investigation has been completed."

LGBTQ students march against Clemson University removing tampons from men's bathrooms, demand 'repercussions' against Republican group

LGBTQ students recently held a march to protest Clemson University removing tampons from the men's bathrooms on the campus in South Carolina. The students also demanded that the school's Republican club suffer repercussions for opposing feminine hygiene products in men's bathrooms on campus.

Approximately 50 Clemson students marched on Wednesday to demand special protections for "transgender, gender non-conforming students, and the wider LGBTQIA+ community."

The students carried signs that read: "Gay Liberation," "Trans Revolution," and "Love Is A Human Right." The signs had symbols for anarchy and LGBTQ rainbow-colored hammer and sickle symbols of communism.

The LGBTQ activists were also marching to demand that the university reinstate tampons in men's bathrooms on campus.

"Today, we are marching for the reinstatement of the menstrual products in the men’s restrooms in Cooper Library and throughout campus," said Pan Tankersley – the main student organizer of the event.

Tankersley added, "Students are still not safe on campus. They still experience harassment, hate and all of those things. If anything, the university needs to step up and needs to protect its students."

The LGBT activists also demanded that the Clemson College Republicans group face "repercussions" for opposing the tampon dispensers in men's bathrooms.

The official Take Back Pride Instagram account – which has the pronouns "They/Them" despite being a social media account – claimed Clemson College Republicans are "contributing to a campus climate that encourages transphobic rhetoric and jeopardizes the safety of LGBTQIA+ students."

The Clemson College Republicans are the target of the LGBTQ group's scorn after opposing a drag queen show on campus in April 2022 and objecting against having feminine hygiene products in men's bathrooms on campus.

The feminine hygiene dispensers were removed from the Cooper Library men's restrooms on Sept. 16 – three days after the Clemson College Republicans made a harmless social media post about the woke gesture.

— (@)

The conservative college group said, "A few days ago, our club made it known that tampon and pad dispensers were in several of the MEN'S restrooms in Cooper Library. However, with the help of Representative April Cromer, these dispensers were removed from the walls of the bathrooms. It is a total embarrassment that these were there in the first place. Men cannot be women. Women cannot be men. Period. Reject delusion. Embrace sanity."

"Men are men," said Trevor Tiedeman – chairman of Clemson College Republicans. "Women are women. Of course, men can not menstruate. Of course, we spoke out against that. Of course, these people think the opposite, and that’s why they’re out here protesting us."

Tiedeman added, "We have simply stood up for biological reality. They reject what we believe, and so they want us to get removed from campus."

The College Fix reported, "A top campus official did not say whether administrators would put back the tampons and pads in the men’s bathrooms or whether the College Republicans would face any repercussions."

Clemson University spokesperson Joe Galbraith told Clemson's student newspaper, The Tiger, that the products are still available in women’s and family restrooms.

Chris Miller – Clemson’s Dean of Students and President of Student Affairs – said, "It's always good that our students have access to their campus. The ability to assemble and speak freely unencumbered just goes to the heart of what a university is and what a university is for."

Miami-Dade School Board overwhelmingly rejects proposal requiring recognition and observance of October as 'LGBTQ History Month'

On September 7, the Miami-Dade School Board, which oversees a school system with over 331,000 students, held a public meeting at its headquarters in downtown Miami. Over the course of six hours, various personalities and groups took turns expressing their support or criticisms for a proposal advanced by board member Lucia Baez Geller, who represents District 6. Geller's resolution, H-11, if enacted, would have had the school board "recognize and observe October 2022 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) History Month," as well as provide social studies instruction on gay history.

At 9:45 p.m., the board voted 8-1 against the proposal.

Part of the reason cited for voting down the proposal was that it was likely in conflict with Florida's Parental Rights in Education Bill, which reinforces parents' natural rights to make decisions concerning their children's upbringing.

Geller did not handle the decision well and was visibly upset. She claimed, "There is an election year and the anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric is a tool used by some to spread misinformation."

School board chair Perla Tabares Hantman, who plans to retire in November, stated, "We have to be in accordance with the law."

Although last year, the board — differently constituted — voted 7-1 to recognize October as a gay-themed month (also proposed by Geller), Geller drew heat this week by pushing further for a gay-themed curriculum change.

Geller suggested that just as students are required to learn about the War of Independence, the Civil War, the world wars, and the civil rights movement, they should similarly learn about cases pertinent to gay activism in the United States.

Accordingly, H-11 would have had students specifically study and learn about Supreme Court cases Obergefell v. Hodges (where bans on same-sex "marriage" were ruled unconstitutional) and Bostock v. Clayton County (where discrimination against employees on the basis of gay orientation or transsexuality was ruled unconstitutional) in social studies classes.

In her September 2 letter to the board, Geller asserted that October should be a time "established to remind all cultures within our wider community of the important roles that LGBTQ people have taken in shaping the social, historical, legal, and political worlds we live in today."

She further highlighted how a gay-focused month would constitute "an effective means of educating and calling to action our community to work together by fighting prejudice and discrimination ... and increasing visibility and raising awareness."

Board member Christi Fraga, who represents District 5, was the lone dissenter in last year's successful vote to observe a gay-themed October. According to WPLG, Fraga suggested on Wednesday that H-11 creates a "hostile" environment and emphasized it isn't up to teachers to "decide what will be taught in classrooms during this time."

Pastor Max Tovar, who led a prayer outside the meeting and asked the board members to reject the motion, told the Miami Herald that H-11 was "a Trojan horse."

Others, reported the Guardian, indicated that the realization of Geller's proposal would amount to sexual abuse of children.

The chair of Moms for Liberty Miami-Dade, Eulalia Maria Jimenez, suggested the alteration of the social studies curriculum to complement an already gay-themed month requiring observance by students was tantamount to "indoctrination." In an Instagram post, the group had written, "Help us protect the children against grooming agenda HB-11."

A transsexual supporter of H-11 present at the meeting suggested such language was dehumanizing to the gay community.

The president and founder of the gay activist group PRISM FL, Maxx Fenning, went a step further, suggesting that a refusal to render October a gay month and require its observance by children was akin to Nazi persecution.

Another activist group, Equality Florida, expressed shock and alarm in response to the school board's determination, writing, "Tonight's vote is more proof of the sweeping, dangerous effect of Florida's discriminatory Don't Say LGBTQ law."

“Tonight’s vote is more proof of the sweeping, dangerous effect of Florida’s discriminatory Don’t Say LGBTQ law, which many Board Members cited in their decision to abandon this established and successful symbol of support for the district’s LGBTQ students, teachers, and families.”
— Equality Florida (@Equality Florida) 1662605327

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis-backed candidates flipped the Miami-Dade school board last month. Concerning that win, the 1776 PAC tweeted, "Miami Dade is now the LARGEST county in America with a conservative school board majority. Congrats to Roberto Alonso and Monica Colucci."

Deace: A time for justice

My hunger for the sternest forms of justice is nearly insatiable these days. Even to the point of co-authoring a book calling for a new Nuremberg trial. I want justice because it is a testimony to the truth: God’s truth, which is the ultimate truth. Thus, justice properly understood is not only good, but holy.

But there is more. So much more.

Because in God’s glorious, grace-fueled economy, mercy triumphs over judgment, if only we let it. There is no darkness so vast that mercy can’t wash it clean. So even though current events may, in fact, soon warrant the need for the sort of justice once inflicted on Nazis, they make the stories of mercy only more obvious and beautiful to behold.

For example, this is just within the last week:

 • Comedian JP Sears, who is well known for destroying the lies of Covidstan, testified to how the experience of the last few years has humbled him to accept a glorious reality far beyond his own proud rationalizations of the past. Please watch him give what is a vastly superior sermon compared to much of what is coming from American churches these days.
 • Former self-described “slut” and Playboy columnist Bridget Phetasy publicly acknowledged the lies she told not only herself, but countless others over the years in the name of feminism and so-called “empowerment.” The end result, though, is not condemnation but true freedom for both men and women alike, as Phetasy bottom-lines her arrival at the truth like this: “Every woman should feel this way: Sleeping w/ me is a privilege. And you have to be worthy.”
 • The group Gays Against Groomers has so upset the diabolical moral economy of the Twitter-sphere that it was banned by the platform for “reasons” before being later re-instated on the same day. Cults hate it when those who are supposed to drink the deepest from the Kool-Aid cup reject them. And you don’t have to applaud all that Gays Against Groomers represents to accept that when it comes to saving innocent children from the modern-day Mengeles in our midst, they know what time it is and refuse to bring a knife to a gunfight, as they make statements like this: “There needs to be a federal law banning all trans medicalization and surgical mutilation of minors. All of these doctors and surgeons should not only be stripped of their medical licenses, but never be allowed within 500 yards of a child ever again.”
 • And lastly, the sororities of the University of Alabama who unanimously told a boy in a dress to get the hell out. Nicely done, ladies.

These people, broken as each and every one of them are in their own way, nonetheless became vessels of light in the last week as they accepted, in no uncertain terms, certain truths of God’s creation. None of which is to say they have accepted all of the truth or even the most important parts of it yet. However, they are closer than they once were to the way, the truth, and the life – as are those who heard what they had to say and were similarly awakened by such unambiguous testimony.

Remember, we are all sinners put back together by God. None of us is without cracks, but those cracks aren’t just scars. Because it is when God’s light shines through the cracks that our true destiny unfolds. That’s when others no longer see our cracks, but his light.

With that said, pray for all those above and be grateful for their courage. For thus says the Lord in the Book of Ezekiel 36:23-28:

I will prove the holiness of my great name,
profaned among the nations,
in whose midst you have profaned it.
Thus the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD,
when in their sight I prove my holiness through you.
For I will take you away from among the nations,
gather you from all the foreign lands,
and bring you back to your own land.
I will sprinkle clean water upon you
to cleanse you from all your impurities,
and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you,
taking from your bodies your stony hearts
and giving you natural hearts.
I will put my spirit within you and make you live by my statutes,
careful to observe my decrees.
You shall live in the land I gave your ancestors;
you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

In this passage, God is obviously speaking specifically about his people, the Israelites. Nevertheless, we are all made in his image, Jew and Gentile alike. So, we can take heed that this reflects the overall heart of God – for mercy to triumph over judgment.

But also take heed of this: If we do not seek his mercy, we will face his judgment.
