Raw milk farms are being targeted by government officials carrying 'submachine guns' — doctor weighs in
For decades, we’ve been told pasteurizing milk kills harmful bacteria and reduces food borne illnesses. If that’s true, then where did all the hype around raw milk come from? Why is something that was long written off as dangerous suddenly the trendiest food on the market?
Dr. Paul Saladino, a double board certified MD, the host of the "Fundamental Health" podcast, and the leading authority on the carnivore diet, recently joined Dave Rubin on “The Rubin Report” to explain the truth behind the controversial beverage and why the government seems to have a big problem with it.

Apparently, raw milk is far safer than we’ve been led to believe, while pasteurized milk isn’t nearly as sanitary as the FDA claims.
According to Dr. Saladino, pasteurized milk is produced in “not the most sanitary conditions.”
“The udders are kind of close to the poop,” but “they know that milk is going to be pasteurized, so they don't really care if it gets contaminated,” he explains, noting that back in “1986, there was a huge outbreak of salmonella in pasteurized milk.”
In contrast, raw milk farms take far more sanitary precautions. He points to the largest producer of raw milk in the United States – Raw Farm, which is based in California.
“The folks at Raw Farm built a special barn so the cows have multiple showers” and “get the opportunity to poop and pee multiple times before they go to get milked, and their utters are cleaned; it’s very carefully monitored,” and “they test every single batch for contaminants,” Dr. Saladino tells Dave, adding that Raw Farms has “never had contamination.”
As for the alleged health benefits of raw milk, “multiple longitudinal observational studies” have shown that children who grow up drinking raw milk “have lower rates of asthma, eczema, and allergies.”
“Drinking raw milk probably is beneficial for kids programming their immune systems,” says Dr. Saladino, adding that “pasteurized dairy was probably something that triggered [his] eczema in the past.”
Further, “a lot of people who are lactose intolerant can drink it because different bacterial cultures in the milk can change the gut.”
So, if raw milk offers a range of health benefits, why is the FDA “denigrating it”?
Apparently at Raw Farm and other similar farms, government agents have shown up carrying “long barrel submachine guns” demanding that they “dump all the milk out.”

What the government WON'T tell you about the number ONE source of health problems
If you’ve ventured into the corners of the health space on social media, it’s likely you’ve run into double board certified M.D. and advocate for an animal-based diet, Paul Saladino.
Saladino became disillusioned with traditional medicine’s lack of focus on nutrition when he noticed that it’s blatantly ignored when addressing the skyrocketing health issues in American citizens.
“I think that ultra-processed foods are the main problem for humans, but if you ask me as a physician, or any of my colleagues, we’re never taught about nutrition,” Saladino tells Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report.”
The attitude the government has taken toward the idea that ultra-processed foods might be making people sick has set Saladino’s “alarm bells off” and made him believe there’s something “going on that’s not copasetic.”
One of the major points of contention Saladino has with Americans' ultra-processed diets are the oils contained in much of our food or the oil we use to cook otherwise healthy food with.
“Think about the oils you’re cooking with,” Saladino tells Rubin. “There are multiple different types of cooking oils, and I think seed oils are probably the worst.”
These oils include corn, canola, sunflower, safflower, and soybean oil, which “we were sometimes told were healthy when we were children, and are often still told are healthy by the American Heart Association.”
Those oils do not occur naturally; rather, they are ultra processed themselves.
“What you’re getting in the grocery store, it looks like this clear oil, but it’s been deodorized. I mean, if it hadn’t been deodorized, you would smell it. And that smells horrible. These oils are fragile, they’re not meant to be crushed and extracted out of seeds,” Saladino explains.
Olive oil, coconut oil, grass fed butter, and tallow are “much better,” because they’re fruit oils, which are not made from seeds. For example, when you make olive oil, you actually press the olive to extract the oil.
“The pervasiveness of seed oils, I think, is a very likely driving factor of our chronic disease epidemic in the United States,” Saladino says.
The chronic disease epidemic doesn’t just include diseases like cancer but mental issues as well.
“Let’s talk about brain health a little bit, which is actually probably the most political thing we can talk about because everybody seems to have a theory or two on Joe Biden at the moment,” Rubin suggests, adding, “There’s clearly an epidemic of either dementia, or ultimately Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.”
“I think there’s a lot of evidence that this is related to the quality of our lifestyle and diet,” Saladino explains. “I’ll tell you that neuro inflammation, which is inflammation in the brain, is affected by inflammation in the body. Absolutely, unquestionably.”
“And how do we get inflammation in the body? Well, it starts in the gut.”

This Dr. Phil warning should make everyone’s ears perk up
Most agree that technology has harmed society in more ways than one. However, many of those same people are probably unaware of just how severe the damage is.
Dave Rubin invites Dr. Phil on the show to discuss what the statistics tell us about our hyper-digital world. And it’s not a pretty picture.
“Look, I'm glad there's technology, but we’ve got to start using it rather than abusing it,” says Dr. Phil.
False information on the Internet, AI and deep fakes, cyberbullying, and sextortion (although those are certainly not the extent of the issues) have left society, especially the younger generations, in shambles.
It led to an epidemic that's calling our very souls into question.
“When I say the soul of America, I'm talking about the real core of what defines this country — the core values that we don't think about every day but that are at the center of what defines America — the morality, the north star that drives us in the direction that we've been driven for 250 years,” he explains.
“I saw a study the other day that said most young people … have less than one good friend. They’ve got tens of thousands of likes and clicks and followers, but they have less than one good friend on average, and that's what I mean by the soul of America. What's made us a great, shining example on the hill that everybody wants to come be part of is eroding because we're not interacting anymore; we're not embracing those values anymore.”
