Yaccarino had been working as NBCUniversal chairman of global advertising and partnerships, but the company announced on Friday that she was departing effective immediatlely.

According to her LinkedIn page, Yaccarino has ties to the World Economic Forum, and she helped promote COVID-19 vaccination when she served as chair of the Ad Council board of directors.

The LinkedIn profile also describes her as a "Global Leader."

"Yaccarino is the Chairman of the WEF's Taskforce on Future of Work and sits on the WEF's Media, Entertainment and Culture Industry Governors Steering Committee. She is also highly engaged with the Value in Media initiative," her LinkedIn profile states. "As 2021-2022 Ad Council Chair, Yaccarino partnered with the business community, the White House, and government agencies to create a COVID-19 vaccination campaign, featuring Pope Francis and reaching over 200 million Americans."

Some people have voiced concerns about Musk's decision to enlist Yaccarino as the company's CEO.

"We're all getting banned again," Jackson Hinkle tweeted.

Retweeting Hinkle, Luke Rudkowski wrote, "and here come the shadow bans....again....."

But Musk pushed back, tweeting, "That will not be the case."

CNN medical analyst who said the unvaccinated should not be able to travel changes her tune, emphasizes benefits of natural immunity

A CNN medical analyst who promoted lockdowns and vaccination requirements and at one stage claimed "we can't trust the unvaccinated" has taken to the pages of the Washington Post to confirm claims that were up until recently derided as misinformation.

The so-called health expert now admits that natural immunity is optimal and that those who are vaccinated but had not previously caught COVID-19 are more susceptible to infection.

While some may be happy to see these long-censored claims printed in the Washington Post, others have suggested that what is missing from these public confirmations is an apology.

What are the details?

Leana Wen is an emergency doctor and professor of health policy and management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. She was previously president of Planned Parenthood and has also served as a medical analyst on CNN.

On Dec. 9, Wen wrote an op-ed in the Post calling for an end to the vaccine mandate for members of the military.

Wen also suggested that "businesses, universities, schools and other entities that were once justified in implementing these requirements should consider removing them, too."

The CNN analyst appeared to defend stances she had taken earlier in the pandemic, claiming that "when the coronavirus vaccines were first made available, there was a compelling case for requiring them."

However, Wen noted that things and standards changed when the Omicron variant turned up.

Wen said that research has shown that vaccines' "effectiveness in reducing infection against the omicron subvariants is low and not lasting."

She cited a recent study in "Nature Communications," which found that "effectiveness against infection was about 50 percent in the first three months after vaccination but declined to around 10 percent or below thereafter."

In a study published in the "New England Journal of Medicine," Wen noted researchers found "that there was no difference in infection rates between people who received two doses of the vaccine six months earlier and those who remained unvaccinated."

Wen further noted in her piece, which would likely have been censored online earlier this year, that the new bivalent booster targeting Omicron is not particularly effective against infection.

Potentially running afoul of the mRNA vaccines' most outspoken champions, like Dr. Anthony Fauci, Wen claimed that public health officials must be up front that the coronavirus vaccine is not equivalent to far more effective real vaccines, such as those used to treat polio or measles.

"Young, healthy people, most of whom already had covid, are very unlikely to become severely ill, and there is little, if any, lasting difference between the vaccinated and unvaccinated people’s likelihood of infecting others," wrote Wen.

In another shibboleth-violating op-ed published Dec. 18, Wen stated, "Abundant research shows natural immunity conveys excellent protection against covid. One Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study found that vaccinated people who never had covid were at least three times as likely to be infected as unvaccinated people with prior infection."

She also cited a Lancet study that found "that those who were vaccinated but never had covid were four times as likely to have severe illness resulting in hospitalization or death compared to the unvaccinated who recovered from it."

The piece points out that an Israeli study published in the "New England Journal of Medicine" compared a group of vaccinated people who had never had COVID-19 and a group of people who had not been vaccinated but had been previously infected with COVID-19.

It turns out that the first group had "twice the number of infections as the second" just two months after their shots, and after six months, the "first group's infection rate was nearly three times higher than the second's."

Although Wen had previously supported vaccinating children, she cited CDC analysis indicating that over 90% of adolescents have contracted the virus, meaning they likely benefit from the natural immunity touted earlier in the piece.

After questioning the utility and good of vaccine mandates, Wen highlighted the dangers they pose — which were previously unacknowledgeable on social media.

Wen referenced two sets of statistics, one from the CDC and the second from a Canadian database; the first showing that there are 39 myocarditis cases per million second doses among males 18 to 24 and the second showing that there are 22 cases for every 100,000 doses for men ages 18 to 29.

About-face and backlash

Wen has ostensibly come a long way in her thinking in a short period of time.

In July 2021, Wen spoke to Democracy Now! bemoaning vaccine hesitancy and claiming that "we know that we can't trust the unvaccinated."

When the Delta variant turned up, Wen told CNN that "it needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated."

“CNN medical contributor Leana Wen says that life needs to be "hard" for unvaccinated Americans!

What a tyrannical monster!

”
— Luke Rudkowski (@Luke Rudkowski) 1626032537

The health policy professor suggested to CNN's Chris Cuomo that societal reopening must be tied to vaccination status.

She said, "We need to start looking at the choice to remain unvaccinated the same as we look at driving while intoxicated. ... You have the option to not get vaccinated if you want, but then you can't go out in public."

Wen also stressed that mobility rights and other human liberties should be tied to vaccination status.

"There are privileges associated with being an American. That if you wish to have these privileges, you need to get vaccinated. Travel, and having the right to travel in our state, it’s not a constitutional right as far as I know to board a plane," she told CNN on another occasion.

“.@DrLeanaWen: “There are privileges associated with being an American. That if you wish to have these privileges, you need to get vaccinated. Travel, and having the right to travel in our state, it’s not a constitutional right as far as I know to board a plane."”
— Tom Elliott (@Tom Elliott) 1631292960

In response to Wen's recent op-eds, New York art dealer Eli Klein expressed his surprise that the "Washington Post finally published the truth about natural immunity."

“Wow, the Washington Post finally published the truth about natural immunity in a piece by Leana Wen.

“…vaccinated people who never had covid were at least three times as likely to be infected as unvaccinated people with prior infection.””
— Eli Klein (@Eli Klein) 1671544247

Joel Petlin, superintendent of the Kiryas Joel School District, tweeted, "The media coverage of COVID-19 research on natural immunity has evolved from being banned on Twitter to being embraced by the same *experts* who applauded the original bans. The only thing missing is the apologies and the commitment to not repeat the outrageous past mistakes."

Revolver News suggested that Wen's admissions are "too little too late. Dr. Wen and her ilk conspired with the FBI and Big Tech to suppress these very facts that we needed to make sound decisions about how to respond to a novel pathogen. Their totalitarian streak cost us our freedom of movement, freedom of association, and our bodily autonomy."

Country music star Luke Bryan takes the high road in responding to liberals who tried to cancel him for raising money for Hurricane Ian victims with Ron DeSantis

Country music star Luke Bryan welcomed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to a recent concert that raised money for disaster relief for the victims of the devastating Hurricane Ian. However, liberals suffered a shrieking meltdown over the duo collaborating to raise funds for disaster relief.

Bryan performed a concert at Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday night.

"A couple of weeks ago, the state of Florida was hit with a tragic hurricane event," Bryan told the audience. "We've been thinking about the state of Florida, and we're gonna have some fun and raise some money tonight for the great state of Florida."

Bryan introduced the surprise guest of DeSantis during the concert, and the Republican governor of Florida received a rousing applause from the crowd.

DeSantis asked the crowd, "Are you excited to be in the free state of Florida?"

The concertgoers cheered in approval.

DeSantis interacted with the crowd about college football, and then urged them to vote in the midterm elections.

DeSantis then discussed the devastation Hurricane Ian inflicted on southwest Florida.

He encouraged the attendees to donate to the Florida Disaster Fund to assist victims of the brutal Category 4 hurricane.

@Luke Bryan brings out governor @Ron DeSantis News 🇺🇸at his first ever sold out show in #Jaxfl youtu.be

However, liberals launched a cancel culture offensive to punish Luke Bryan for having the governor of Florida at a concert to raise money for Hurricane Ian victims.

Dozens of leftists angrily lashed out and baselessly labeled Bryan a "Nazi," a "racist," a "homophobe," and other derogatory insults. The liberals also attempted to cancel Bryan for raising money for hurricane victims, and vowed to never support the popular country music star.

Bryan addressed the alleged controversy on social media.

"I typically don't respond to stuff when I'm getting run down on a social platform but here's the deal," Bryan began. "I understand Governor DeSantis is a very polarizing figure. But I grew up in a country where if a governor asks you if they can come and raise awareness to help victims of a natural disaster you help."

"I've generally stayed out of politics throughout my career," he continued. "I knew people would chatter about this but for me the more important piece was [if] I am going to come back there a few weeks after a large portion of people have been affected by a natural disaster in a state where people have been good to me this felt right."

"Raise awareness, have a little fun between GA and FL college fans before the game and do what I love on stage," he said. "This is all I am saying about this. I'll be outdoors with my boys. Enjoy your Sunday. Love y'all."

Google runs pro-LGBT animation on Velma-related search results to celebrate the 'Scooby-Doo' character being made explicitly gay in new movie

Google is celebrating the news that Velma, one of the main characters from the widely-beloved world of "Scooby-Doo," is being explicitly presented as a lesbian in the new movie "Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!"

Googling words and phrases such as "velma," "velma dinkley," "dinkley," "scooby velma," or "scooby-doo velma" yields the typical search results as well as an animated shower of virtual confetti and two kinds of LGBT flags that float down from the top of the screen — one of the flags is a lesbian pride flag.

Two buttons appear onscreen, including one to run the animation again, and another button where people can copy a link to results page for "Velma Dinkley" or share the link on Facebook, Twitter, or email.

“Why does google do this when you search for velma? wut!?”
— Luke Rudkowski (@Luke Rudkowski) 1665095098

"We saw a long-anticipated moment for a character people love, and had a good feeling it'd be an identity-affirming surprise for fans around the world," Google senior interaction designer Anthony Irwin said, according to Variety. "We didn't expect it to be so well received, resonating across so many different cultures and age groups, but people need things to be happy about, and when we can help everyone celebrate together, that's pretty great."

Google software engineer Emma Freeman, who was also involved, said, "We have loved seeing the response from both the fans who grew up with the franchise finally getting a chance to celebrate the acknowledgement of her sexuality and younger fans who get to grow up seeing themselves represented."

Velma is blatantly portrayed as a lesbian in the new animated movie, including in one scene where her glasses fog up and her cheeks turn red after she sets eyes on another female character, Coco Diablo.

In another clip, Velma admits to her friend Daphne that she has a crush on Coco, saying, "OK, who am I kidding? I'm crushing big-time, Daphne. What do I do? What do I say?"

Ghislaine Maxwell abruptly put on suicide watch without psychological evaluation, attorney says

Ahead of sentencing, Ghislaine Maxwell has been put on suicide watch. However, the attorney for the former lover of the late Jeffrey Epstein emphasized that she is not suicidal.

Maxwell's attorney, Bobbi Sternheim, released a letter on Saturday stating that she may seek to delay Tuesday's sentencing. Sternheim argued that a postponement may be necessary since Maxwell was put on suicide watch on Friday and then "abruptly" moved from the general prison population to solitary confinement by the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Sternheim said Maxwell was moved "without any clothing, toothpaste, soap, legal papers, etc."

"She was provided a 'suicide smock' and is given a few sheets of toilet paper on request," the lawyer wrote.

The lawyer noted that Maxwell was put on suicide watch "without having conducted a psychological evaluation and without justification."

Sternheim said a psychologist evaluated Maxwell and determined that the former British socialite is "not suicidal." The attorney added that she met with Maxwell on Saturday and determined that her client is not suicidal.

“If Ms. Maxwell remains on suicide watch, is prohibited from reviewing legal materials prior to sentencing, becomes sleep-deprived, and is denied sufficient time to meet with and confer with counsel, we will be formally moving on Monday for an adjournment,” Sternheim said in the letter addressed to U.S. Circuit Judge Alison Nathan.

In December, Maxwell was convicted by a federal jury on five charges, including sex trafficking. Maxwell allegedly recruited and groomed four girls between 1994 and 2004 for sexual encounters with her then-lover, Jeffrey Epstein.

Prosecutors called for Maxwell to be sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison and a maximum of 55.

Maxwell's lawyers argued that their 60-year-old client "deserved less than the 20-year sentence recommended by probation officers, and no more than 5-1/4 years in prison based on their review of federal sentencing guidelines," according to Reuters.

Earlier this month, a prisoner at the Metropolitan Detention Center claimed that she was offered money to kill Maxwell.

Before his death, Jeffrey Epstein was also placed on suicide watch while awaiting trial on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors. He was taken off six days later. Less than two weeks later, Epstein was found dead in his Metropolitan Correctional Center jail cell. The New York City chief medical examiner said Epstein's cause of death was suicide.

Viral TikTok video of Canadian woman threatening the livelihoods of 'freedom fighters' leads to HR investigation

A Canadian woman who posted a video on social media ridiculing "freedom fighters" and threatening to use her powers to take away their employment prospects is now under investigation.

The video was posted to an account from tammyandtwins on TikTok and quickly went viral when it was also posted to Twitter.

"I'm a recruiter. It's a small, small, small industry. It's smaller than you think! Smaller than HR!" said the woman on the video.

"So, if you're looking for a job, or maybe trying to keep a job, maybe, just maybe, think about what you're putting on social media!" she continues.

"Again, freedom fighters, I know you're not really big with stats, and you know facts aren't your thing! But what I can tell you, what is a fact, is that recruiters talk, and recruiters like the majority of Canada, don't agree with you," she adds.

"Do you know what means? Do you have any guesses, do you have any guesses what that means?" she asks. "What that means is that if you need a job, you might not get one! If you want to keep a job, you might not get to do that!"

She goes on to say that HR people are good at documenting incidents and firing people they dislike.

"Recruiters are watching. HR is watching! Everywhere. And we hate you! We hate you so much! And you think we can't do anything, but we can! We have the power! Always!" she concluded. "Remember that. It doesn't matter if there's a f***ing man at the top of your HR department, it's run by women. And it's run by angry women just like me.”

She concluded the video by swearing expletives at the people she was addressing and mocking their families.

The Ontario-based Human Resources Professional Association responded to a tweet about the video on Monday with a statement saying that they were investigating whether she had broken their code of conduct.

"HRPA is aware of this video post by one of its regulated members and does not condone or endorse in any way the statements made about HR practice therein," the statement read. "Further, HRPA is reviewing this matter to determine if there has been a breach of its Rules of Professional Conduct."

The Canadian HR Reporter noted that a LinkedIn profile of an HR manager appearing to be the woman was deleted soon after the video went viral.

The US surgeon general wants Joe Rogan censored

"The Joe Rogan Experience" is Spotify’s most popular podcast. The comedian’s podcast routinely outperforms most cable news shows, earning millions of views and downloads per episode. Rogan’s reach is largely why so many on the political left beg Spotify to censor his show.

The Post Millennial reports that on Tuesday, in a segment with MSNBC, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told Mika Brzezinski that tech companies need to prevent people from accessing misinformation about COVID-19.

Brzezinski asked, “What do you think are the best ways to push back on misinformation about COVID that continues to be aggressively pushed, whether it be Joe Rogan’s podcast or all over Facebook?”

“We can have the best science available,” replied Murthy, “we can have the best public health expertise available. It won’t help people if they don’t have access to accurate information.”

The surgeon general continued, “People have the right to make their own decisions, but they also have the right to have accurate information to make that decision with.”

He went on to explain that social media companies have an “important role to play,” as these are the “predominant places where we’re seeing misinformation spread.”

His segment concluded as he pleaded for corporate intervention to stop the spread of counternarrative information.

“This not just about what the government can do,” the surgeon general stated, “this is about companies and individuals recognizing that the only way we get past misinformation is if we are careful about what we say and use the power that we have to limit the spread of misinformation.”

In early January, 270 doctors — the majority of whom are not medical professionals — called for Spotify to censor Joe Rogan’s podcast. The academics published a public letter demanding that Spotify enforce a “misinformation policy.”

In recent months, CNN has also taken Rogan to task over his views on COVID-19 and the preventive medication ivermectin. When Rogan came down with the novel coronavirus after performing in Florida, CNN doctored footage of the comedian to make him appear gravely ill.

When CNN anchor Don Lemon accused Rogan of taking a veterinary form of ivermectin, Rogan responded by calling Lemon a “dumb motherf*****.”

"The Joe Rogan Experience," on average, reaches 11 million people per episode. CNN Primetime averages less than one million. The regime and its acolytes in the media call for Rogan’s censorship because they are losing to him. They resent the fact that the guy who hosted “Fear Factor” is thought of as a more reliable news source than their legacy networks.

This is why they are afraid of Roganpic.twitter.com/uM0fDkmrXh

US Navy task force makes sailors pledge to 'advocate for and acknowledge all lived experiences and intersectional identities'

The pledge for a new United States Navy task force has some very progressive-sounding language in it that looks like it was written by a woke campus diversity officer. Task Force Navy One, which was "established to combat discrimination in the Navy," requires members to "advocate for and acknowledge all lived experiences and intersectional identities of every Sailor in the Navy."

The Task Force Navy One was established on June 30 with the mission to "address the issues of racism, sexism and other destructive biases and their impact on naval readiness."

"The task force will seek to promptly address the full spectrum of systemic racism, advocate for the needs of underserved communities, work to dismantle barriers and equalize professional development frameworks and opportunities within the Navy," the press release states.

"As a Navy — uniform and civilian, active and reserve - we cannot tolerate discrimination or racism of any kind. We must work to identify and eliminate individual and systemic racism within our force," Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday said in June. "That is why we are standing up Task Force One Navy, which will work to identify and remove racial barriers and improve inclusion within our Navy."

The task force recently released a report, which included the TF1N Pledge for U.S. Navy sailors.

As a key member of Task Force One Navy I will invest the time, attention and empathy required to analyze and evaluate Navywide issues related to racism, sexism, ableism and other structural and interpersonal biases.

I pledge to be actively inclusive in the public and private spheres where I live and work, and proactively encourage others to do the same.

I pledge to advocate for and acknowledge all lived experiences and intersectional identities of every Sailor in the Navy.

I pledge to engage in ongoing self-reflection, education and knowledge sharing to better myself and my communities.

I pledge to be an example in establishing healthy, inclusive and team-oriented environments.

I pledge to constructively share all experiences and information gained from activities above to inform the development of Navywide reforms.

The report delivers instructions for commanders on how to interact with fellow Navy members.

At the command level, we need to: a. Start a dialogue with your superiors, peers and teams and listen to their personal stories and experiences. If we have not directly experienced racism, sexism, ageism, or other forms of discrimination, it is often difficult to realize they exist. However, they do exist in our Navy and country, and it is our responsibility to eliminate them. b. Keep the conversation going. Practice inclusion every day by integrating Sailor and civilian perspectives in early stages of problem-solving and idea generation. In each meeting you have and problem you tackle, include all perspectives to gather varied points of view that will help you make the best decision.

The Task Force Navy One leadership created recommendations related to:

 • Matters surrounding gender minorities
 • Updating naming ships, buildings and streets
 • Countering hate speech
 • Health disparities among minorities including nutrition

The Navy isn't the only military branch breaking away from traditional norms. Starting Feb. 24, women in the United States Army will be permitted to wear ponytails, earrings, lipstick, and nail polish while in their combat uniform.

Meanwhile in China, they are developing "biologically enhanced super soldiers."

MSNBC host suggests killing American citizens with drone strikes

During a discussion regarding domestic terrorism, MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace floated the idea of the U.S. government killing American citizens with drone strikes.

Wallace brought up the National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin that was released to all law enforcement by the Department of Homeland Security last week. The bulletin, which is in effect until April 30, warns that the DHS allegedly received information that there is the threat of "ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence."

Wallace notes, "There's a bulletin released to all law enforcement earlier this week, that there is, until the end of April, a persistent threat of domestic extremism, domestic terrorism carried out in the ideology and around this belief that the election was fraudulent, that the Covid restrictions are unnecessary. All of those ideologies pushed by Donald Trump."

The "Deadline: White House" host then said, "But my question for you is around incitement. We had a policy, and it was very controversial, it was carried out under the Bush years, and under the Obama years, of attacking terrorism at its root."

"Of going after and killing, and in the case of Anwar Awlaki, an American, a Yemeni-American, with a drone strike for the crime of inciting violence, inciting terrorism," Wallace stated.

"Mitch McConnell was in the Senate then. He was in the Senate after 9/11 too," the MSNBC anchor said. "How does Mitch McConnell, who understands that the way you root out terrorism, is to take on, in the case of Islamic terrorism, kill those who incite it. How does he not vote to convict someone that he said, on the floor of the Senate, incited an insurrection?"

Al-Awlaki was an alleged American member of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization who was assassinated in Yemen by a drone strike approved by then-President Barack Obama in 2011. Awlaki was believed to be the former head of external operations for al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, and was linked to several terrorism plots, including an attempt to blow up a jetliner bound for Detroit in 2009. He was one of the United States' most wanted terrorists.

The Wall Street Journal reported in January 2010, "There is no indication Mr. Awlaki played a direct role in any of the attacks, and he has never been indicted in the U.S."

The Brookings Institute declared Al-Awlaki's assassination as "the first extra-judicial killing by the United States government against a U.S. citizen."

His 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, was killed in a U.S. drone strike two weeks later.

This is the second time that al-Awlaki has been mentioned on Wallace's show in the last two weeks. Previously, MSNBC contributor and former FBI agent Clint Watts hinted that former President Donald Trump was inciting violence against the U.S. government much like al-Awlaki with the Capitol riots on Jan. 6.

Watts told Wallace, "We had a period after 9/11, where we were trying to get 'left of boom' as they would say in counter-terrorism. Which is, can you get way up, up the stream of an attack and start to root out all of the confluences which bring about that attack?"

"If you took what President Trump said, and you instead put it in Anwar Awlaki's mouth, we would be talking about a drone strike overseas," Watts said on the left-wing cable news network. "So that's one aspect of our political leaders talking about this rhetoric."

MSNBC's Joy Reid compares President Trump, supporters to Muslim terrorists — and even those on the left are destroying her for Islamophobia

On "The ReidOut" on Tuesday, MSNBC's Joy Reid compared President Donald Trump and his supporters to violent Muslim terrorists.

Needless to say, the blowback was swift and thorough, and the clip is going viral on social media.

What are the details?

In head-scratching remarks during Tuesday's broadcast, Reid hosted Kenosha, Wisconsin, residents, and discussed the president, his supporters, and recent outbreaks of violence across the U.S.

"When leaders, let's say in the Muslim world, talk a lot of violent talk, and encourage their supporters to be willing to commit violence — including on their own bodies — in order to win against whoever they decide is the enemy, we in the U.S. media describe that as 'They are radicalizing those people.' Particularly when they're radicalizing young people. That's how we talk about the way Muslims act," she reasoned during the show.
