Leftists Melt Down After Washington Post Editorial Board Declines To Endorse Harris
Leftists suffered a meltdown Friday after the editors of the Washington Post announced they would no longer endorse in presidential races.
Democrats are trying to cancel or at the very least spoil President Donald Trump's upcoming campaign event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, further evidencing their desperation in the final weeks before the election and their hostility toward American freedoms.
New York state Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal, for instance, demanded last week that the arena dishonor its contract and cancel the Oct. 27 event, which he equated to a Nazi rally.
Hoylman-Sigal failed in depriving his fellow New Yorkers of an opportunity to engage in the democratic process and hear live from their candidate; however, Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway III and other establishmentarians hatched another scheme: implore fellow travelers to register for free tickets to the event.
The ostensible purpose of this plot is to ensure that fewer people will attend the rally or to maximize the number of agent provocateurs in the crowd.
On Oct. 9, George Conway tweeted, "Could someone post the sign-up link for TFG's big event at MSG? I think we should all go. Thx bye."
Conway was a one-time contender for possible Justice Department positions in the Trump administration who soured in the shadow of his successful then-wife, Trump's former senior counselor Kellyanne Conway. Deemed a "total loser" by Trump, Conway co-founded the Lincoln Project with a handful of former Republican operatives, including Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, Reed Galen, and John Weaver, who reportedly had a habit of sexually harassing young men online.
The Lincoln Project and its leadership has not only churned out pro-Harris content such as the recent "Be a Man, Vote for a Woman" ad and helped set the stage for the attempts on Trump's life with incendiary rhetoric — Wilson, for instance, told MSNBC's Chris Hayes in 2015 that the donor class will have to "go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump" — but staged a fake white supremacist rally in 2021 to smear then-candidate Glenn Youngkin ahead of the Virginia gubernatorial election.
'Get 'em just in case.'
The co-founder of the false-flag outfit shared the link to the event on Monday, writing, "Enjoy!" — a message the Lincoln Project, which has spent years whining about supposed threats to democracy and election interference, subsequently amplified.
Numerous Harris boosters responded, indicating they had signed up to attend or intended to do so in hopes of denying a seat to someone who might sincerely wish to attend.
Trump critic and self-identified author Nancy Levine Stearns, for instance, boasted in reply to Conway that she had secured two tickets to the event.
John Sipher, a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, was less subtle than others, writing, "Get 'em just in case. The only downside is a few empty seats."
Hollywood script-reader Mark Hamill similarly dumbed it down, tweeting, "Who would sign-up, then NOT go? (except everyone who puts country over party)," to which Conway replied, "Honestly I think we should go."
Instead of once again recommending a bullet for the presidential candidate shot by a Democratic donor, Rick Wilson sarcastically wrote, "Oh no. This is totally wrong to flood the zone on this. No one should do this."
Conway followed up by advertising the time of the event and various ways the rally could be accessed.
According to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight polling, Kamala Harris is leading Trump in New York by over 13 points. While another successful Trump rally in New York City may not ultimately move the needle, it would nevertheless signal the survival of alternative viewpoints in the Democratic enclave.

Which sci-fi veteran is proving more embarrassing to his franchise? Is it Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill or George "Lt. Sulu" Takei?
Takei is still posting “Trump is Hitler”-style rants on X as if the former president didn't almost take a bullet in the head Saturday night. Hamill, not to be bested, has stooped to mocking the bandage on Trump’s ear at the RNC gala in Milwaukee.
Both are clearly operating in a galaxy far, far away from the prevailing mood in America. Oh, well: The search for intelligent life among the Trump-deranged continues. Gotta give ‘em points for honesty.
The creators behind “The Apprentice,” the feature-length hit piece on Donald Trump, are desperate to debut their film prior to Election Day.
The film, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this summer, is in limbo for several reasons. One: Studios aren’t eager to buy it, with some citing its polarizing nature. Two: Producer Dan Snyder is a Trump fan and somehow didn’t realize his film is hyper-critical of its subject matter.
Three: Trump has threatened to sue the team behind “The Apprentice” over its unfair depiction of him. Case in point: The film shows Trump (Sebastian Stan) raping his then-wife Ivana Trump. Except she claimed it never happened prior to her 2022 death.
Team “Apprentice” better figure something out if they want to sway the voters. October surprises aren't nearly as effective when you save them until December.
Welcome back, Axel! “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” is a hit for Netflix. The fourth film in the “Cop” saga – and first in 30 years -- screams big-screen summer blockbuster. Instead, it was up to the streamer to give star Eddie Murphy one more crack at his iconic character.
Audiences are eating it up. The film is still atop Netflix's Top Movies chart following its July 3 release with a total of 22.2 million views, according to Deadline.com.
Why? We’re addicted to sequels, full stop. Plus, “Axel F” has a distinct “Top Gun: Maverick” vibe. Full-on nostalgia. Beloved actors returning to the franchise. Respect for both Axel Foley and his ‘80s frame of mind.
It’s a simple formula. Why Hollywood doesn’t lather, rinse, and repeat it is beyond us.
Turns out the corporate culture at Disney is far from G-rated. Internal Slack messages James O’Keefe snagged from the Mouse House reveal some curious extracurricular antics. Think naked bike rides, swinger meet-ups and tips on name changes during sex transitions.
In Disney’s defense, employees can do whatever they wish, assuming it’s legal, in their personal time. It still explains a lot, no?
Actor John Leguizamo isn’t a journalist, but he plays one for “The Daily Show.” He’s taken a shine to his fake news duties, if his X account is any indication.
The “Ice Age” actor tried to peddle a conspiracy theory surrounding the Trump assassination attempt. He shared a picture of Trump on X that showed no damage to the president’s ear. Gotcha, Orange Man Bad!
“Not even a scratch! But milk it for all you can!“ he cried. The bigger picture? Team Trump staged the shooting … even though several people were hurt in the melee and one died from injuries sustained at the Pennsylvania rally.
Except the picture is from 2022.
He previously shared a post claiming documents prove Trump committed serial child rape as part of the Epstein scandal. Suffice it to say if such documents existed, the mainstream media would be eager to cover it.
Nonetheless, the intrepid non-reporter continues to chase after his scoop. A certain saber-toothed squirrel and his ever-elusive acorn come to mind.
Hillbillies are having a moment thanks to President Trump.
“Hillbilly Elegy,” the stirring 2020 adaptation of vice presidential candidate JD Vance’s best-selling memoir, is a hit on both Netflix and Amazon.
The Ron Howard film got pummeled by critics upon its release. The story follows a young Vance balancing family strife and his collegiate ambitions. How polarizing is it? Glenn Close earned an Oscar nomination and a Golden Raspberry nod for her portrayal of Vance’s wily Mamaw.
Makes you wonder what other movies are trending thanks to the presidential race. "Weekend at Bernie's," anyone?
Legendary "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill took to social media to mock President Donald Trump's ear bandage at the Republican National Convention.
The bandage was of course covering a graze wound from a bullet from an attempted assassination of the president by a rifleman on a rooftop days earlier.
Hamill posted an up-close photo of Trump as he was about to enter the main room of the convention, showing the former president with the bandage.
'It's so depressing how lame Luke Skywalker is in real life.'
"1st APPEARANCE of ludicrously oversized ear bandage, apparently not needed prior to tonight," Hamill wrote on his X account.
The backlash against the actor was swift and forceful, with readers from across the spectrum reacting to his insult.
"You're a sad and pathetic person," said the owner of a gaming website.
"You ever got shot, Mark?" asked comedian Tim Young.
You're a sad and pathetic person.

"It's so depressing how lame Luke Skywalker is in real life," said outlet Not the Bee.
Another influencer told Hamill that his "soul needs a bandage."

Hamill was a recent guest at the White House and appeared alongside press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in the press room. Hamill told reporters that he called Biden "Mr. President," but Biden said Hamill could call him Joe. Hamill then said he asked if he could call the president "Joebi-Wan Kenobi."
The fantasy-film favorite has been adamant in his support for the Biden administration while simultaneously showing disdain for President Trump.
In March 2024, Hamill posted a photo of himself wearing an anti-Trump shirt. A caption to the photo read, "I voted for four more years of an orange-free Oval Office."
Additionally, Hamill's direct interactions with Biden's X account have included responding to the statement, "Donald Trump is the worst president we've ever had," by saying, "Joe Biden is the best president we've ever had."
He replied to the same statement again and called the Trump-directed insult the "understatement of the century."

Hamill's mindset in his criticism of Trump's injury following a presidential assassination plot was analyzed by commentator ALX, who compared the mental toughness of the two candidates:
"Donald Trump literally got shot two days ago and Mark Hamill is criticizing the size of his bandage. Meanwhile Joe Biden took a week off to go to Camp David for 'Debate Prep' but could hardly put together a single coherent sentence."
Still, Hamill took another shot at Trump; but where his first comment was an observation, the latter appeared to be a misinterpretation of a photo of the former president with his eyes closed.
"For once, I'm with him," Hamill wrote, with a picture of himself laying down as well as the photo of Trump. Hamill was implying that Trump fell asleep at the RNC, however, readers pointed out that the photo was taken during a moment of prayer at the event.

The cringe is strong with Mark Hamill.
The “Star Wars” icon watched enough of the Biden-Trump debate to know all the Dark Brandon memes on X can’t camouflage the truth. The commander in chief’s mental decline isn’t a “cheap fake” attack. It’s real.
And Hamill just doesn’t care.
While Jane Fonda teared up watching President Joe Biden decompose and director Rob Reiner screamed at his screen, Hamill refused to face reality.
One off night doesn't change the fact that @JoeBiden is the most legislatively successful @POTUS in our lifetime. One off night also doesn't change the fact that the former guy is a convicted felon, serial liar & adjudicated rapist who is unfit for ANY office. Period.
You might say Hamill carried on in the grand Jill Biden tradition. Apologies! The Dr. Jill Biden tradition.
Eddie Murphy — genius, stand-up legend, Oscar nominee ... snowflake?
The 63-year-old is back to his signature franchise with this week’s “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” on Netflix. That means he’s making the press rounds and, in the process, sharing why he’s still sore over a joke told 29 years ago.
“Saturday Night Live’s” "Hollywood Minute" skewered everyone without mercy in the 1990s, courtesy of the King of Snark, David Spade. Murphy’s 1995 dud “Vampire in Brooklyn” had just underwhelmed at the box office, giving Spade fodder for this comedic kill shot. “Look, children, it’s a falling star. Make a wish!” as an image of Murphy graced the screening.
Ouch. No, really, ouch! (And funny!)
Except not to Murphy, who is still talking about it to journalists. The bit was “kind of racist,” too, he argued to a New York Times scribe.
Has Eddie Murphy ever watched an Eddie Murphy stand-up special? The dude takes no prisoners. Why so thin-skinned when the shoe is on the other foot?
Maybe he’ll get over it on the gag’s 30th anniversary in 2025.
We miss big-screen comedies. Still.
This week, Murphy’s fourth “Cop” movie opens on Netflix, not a theater near you. Next month, one of the funniest directors returns with an all-new comedy, and it’s debuting on Prime Video.
“Jackpot!” teams Awkwafina and John Cena, no comedy slouches, in a dystopian tale of a lottery winner running for her life. Literally.
It’s 2030 in Los Angeles, and a new rule says lottery winners can keep their millions, but if someone kills them within the first 24 hours, the murderer gets that cash.
It’s a sly attack on L.A.’s “soft on crime” policies and Biden’s pathetic economy, right?
Not according to the trailer. And given director Paul Feig’s progressive politics, there’s little hope those issues creep into the frame.
Feig previously gave us “Spy” and “Bridesmaids,” and he was a critical force behind the classic TV comedy “Freaks and Geeks.” He hasn’t been the same since his “Lady Ghostbusters” reboot fizzled with fans.
Neither are we.
Maybe Feig and company can tap into the zeitgeist for a return to form — or there’s a reason it’s skipping theaters for the streaming world.
The only people more frazzled by Biden’s horrific debate performance? The writers at Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show.” Let’s hope they’ve got plenty of boxed wine within reach.
The far-left showcase has spent three years protecting the president from himself, a balancing act that found Colbert spinning the special counsel’s report so hard the earth nearly came off its axis. When the Wall Street Journal noted Biden’s obvious decline, Colbert trashed the paper like it was the Weekly World News.
Now what? Can Colbert ignore the debate’s fallout? Would he repeat the media’s heel pivot and say Biden must be replaced atop the Democratic ticket (without apologizing for his spin cycle)?
We may never know.
“The Late Show” is in reruns until July 8. Plenty can change between now and then. Heck, Colbert may have a whole new set of DNC talking points to read from by then. President Kamala Harris? A shocking plan B, C, or D?
Just know we won’t get two things on July 8: laughs or an apology.
How do we solve the crises that are currently burdening America?
While Dave Rubin knows there are “some political ways,” like how “a certain orange man would be better than a certain man with dementia,” there are some more important, more tangible ways that are in your control.
“It’s find a mate and have a family. Start the basic building blocks of society, bottom up. The way your parents did it and your grandparents did it,” Rubin explains, adding, “the way civilization has done it for millennia.”
“If you start building a good family, you might be able to save civilization,” he says, and he’s not alone in his belief.
Elon Musk recently explained a similar concept to the Milken Institute after being asked what brings him joy and what keeps him up at night.
“I probably get the most joy from my kids, and I’m not saying that’s the reason to have kids because we should have them anyway, but certainly kids are the greatest source of joy in my life,” he answered.
“In terms of what keeps me up at night, I guess it’s anything that’s, like, I think a civilizational risk,” he said, adding, “The birth rates continuing to plummet. I do think about the birth rates plummeting as being a civilizational risk.”

Actor Mark Hamill of "Star Wars" fame, who has been an outspoken supporter of President Joe Biden, met with the president on Friday before appearing at the White House press briefing.
Hamill said that he called Biden "Mr. President," but Biden said Hamill could call him Joe. Hamill said he asked if he could call the president "Joebi-Wan Kenobi."
Hamill has previously posted the eyebrow-raising claim on social media that "Joe Biden is the best president we've ever had."
But while he has high praise for Biden, he has called it the "understatement of the century," to describe Donald Trump as the nation's worst president ever.
— (@)
"May The First Not Quench Your Thirst For Biden's Re-election!" Hamill tweeted on Wednesday, May 1, adding the hashtag "#BidenHarris2024."
"May The Second Biden Administration Be As Productive and Successful As The 1st," he wrote on Thursday May 2.
— (@)
On Friday, May 3rd, Hamill tweeted, "May The Third Be Absurd That The Guy Who Tried To Steal A Fair Election Is Allowed To Run Again."
Earlier this year, on March 5, he tweeted, "I voted for four more years of an orange-free Oval Office."
— (@)
In an apparent play on Hamill's Friday White House visit and press briefing appearance, the Babylon Bee, a satire site, posted a piece titled, "Mark Hamill Joins Death Star Press Conference To Say What A Good Job He Thinks The Emperor Is Doing."
