Glenn Beck: How Trump can DESTROY Biden at tonight’s debate

The first 2024 presidential debate is tonight, and the mainstream media will likely do everything in its power to insist that Joe Biden won the debate.

Glenn Beck has his own theory as to how Donald Trump can make the media’s job harder than ever.

“Now, Donald Trump could come in and debate with Joe Biden,” Glenn says. “I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t debate with Joe Biden.”

Why? Because what Joe Biden and his disastrous policies have done to the American people is felt by everyone.

“I’m just telling you right now, the American people cannot take it any more. The American people cannot afford these kinds of decisions coming again,” Glenn explains. “Why did all of this happen? Because of his policies. So don’t ask me to debate him on any of these things. He’s so wrong, it’s not worth anyone’s time.”

Rather, Glenn believes Trump should simply address what he will do to actually help the American people.

“Here’s what I promise the American people: Your inflation is going to take a while to turn around, but I agree it exists. This man told you it didn’t exist. It exists and it’s dire,” Glenn says from Trump’s perspective.

“I’ve done it before. I have created jobs, I have helped you, and you know the best way the president can create jobs? Get out of the way. This president creates jobs that are all in the United States government. I’d like to make the unemployment in the United States government high. I would like to make the employment rate for citizens of this country very low,” he continues.

Instead of arguing with Biden, all Trump needs to do is focus on the facts.

“I would just talk about gas prices, food prices, jobs, no matter what the question is. These are the actual facts,” Glenn says.

“Free the people to work the way they want to work. Reduce all of these ridiculous climate changing, global warming, all these special favors to unions, let people work and create. Let them choose the path and design their own life. It’s their life, not the life of the government of the United States of America,” he continues, noting that Trump should also mention what this government has been doing to him.

“I’m only getting hammered the way I am because I am the biggest obstacle standing in the globalists' way.”

NBC's Kristen Welker wins high praise from the left and right in moderating of final debate

NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker received rave reviews from Democrats, Republicans, and folks in between for her performance in moderating Thursday night's final debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

What are the details?

After President Trump warned ahead of the debate that Welker has "always been terrible and unfair," midway through the debate he tipped his hat to the journalist for how she was conducting the bout.

The Hill reported that "as he accused former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday night of wanting to ban fracking, Trump threw out a compliment to Welker, saying that he respected her handling of the debate."

"By the way so far I respect very much the way you're handling this, I have to say," Trump told the moderator, before returning to his back-and-forth with Biden.

Toward the end of the debate, conservative writer Carmine Sabia tweeted, "There is time left but Kristen Welker has given a master class on how to moderate a debate fairly. Is Chris Wallace watching?"

When the debate was over, pundits, politicians, and journalists of all stripes declared Welker as the person who came out on top in the evening's performances.

Conservative Wayne Dupree tweeted, "#KristenWelker did one of the best moderator jobs we've seen in years. She didn't give Biden snowball questions and that was huge!"

Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) also sang Welker's praises, saying the NBC News rising star "did an excellent job moderating tonight."

Several of Welker's colleagues at NBC sent shout-outs for her performance, but so did other journalists.

Former Fox News reporter Adam Housley tweeted, "@kwelkernbc handled it fantastically. Maybe a couple more topics could have been explored, but she was fair and kept control."

The audience appeared happy, too. Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs reported from the debate in Tennessee, "'Home run,' one person in Nashville debate audience said loudly of moderator @kwelkernbc, and dozens who heard that comment voiced agreement."

Moderator for second presidential debate publicly asks anti-Trumper Scaramucci for advice on Trump

C-SPAN host Steve Scully, who has been named as the moderator of the second debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden, raised eyebrows Thursday night when he publicly asked avowed anti-Trumper Anthony Scaramucci about whether he should "respond" to the president.

It is unclear at the time of this writing what Scully was referring to, but his outreach to Scaramucci added to prior allegations of pro-Biden bias against the selected moderator.

What are the details?

At 9:45 p.m. EST, Scully tweeted, "@Scaramucci should I respond to trump." Scaramucci — who famously served a two-week stint as Trump's White House press secretary before being fired and becoming a vehement critic of the president — wrote back, "Ignore. He is having a hard enough time. Some more bad stuff about to go down."

Folks reacting on Twitter widely speculated that Scully accidentally sent the tweet publicly when he likely intended the message to Scaramucci to be private.

Regardless of the reason, the outreach added fuel to the fire that Scully would favor Biden in the debate because he interned for the former senator years ago.

The Washington Times reported that Scully — who is set to moderate the Oct. 15 debate — interned for Biden in 1978 "according to a biography published by George Washington University."

The response from The Hill's Joe Concha represented the reaction from many critics. He tweeted, "What? Why is the next presidential debate moderator publicly asking one of Trump's staunchest critics in Anthony Scaramucci if he should respond to the president? In a related story, Scully once interned for Sen. Joe Biden. Optics here are horrible & underscore mistrust is media."

President Trump brought up Scully to Fox News' Sean Hannity on Thursday night, saying, "So, now I find out the guy from C-SPAN is a never-Trumper but I don't mind that! Look at the people I've had in the past."

The second debate is currently up in the air after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced Thursday that it would be virtual following Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis, but the president said he would not participate unless the event took place in person.

Debate Moderators Announced From Fox, C-SPAN, NBC, And USA Today

The Commission on Presidential Debates annouced four debate moderators: Chris Wallace, Susan Page, Steve Scully, and Kristen Welker.
