Mark Levin: The primary is OVER, and Nikki Haley needs to DROP OUT

While it was predicted that Nikki Haley would do well in the New Hampshire primary due to the number of independent voters in the state, former President Donald Trump came out miles ahead.

Mark Levin believes it’s time for Haley to hang up the towel.

“It wasn’t even close; it was enormous,” Levin says of Trump’s win, and he has the stats to back it up.

Not only were more than half of the primary voters not Republicans, but the electorate was even more moderate and liberal than it was in 2016.

64% of the primary voters claimed they were not MAGA, and only 24% of primary voters said they were “very conservative,” compared to 52% in Iowa.

Meanwhile, Haley spent $30 million on campaigning in New Hampshire.

“Despite all of those factors,” Levin says, quoting his friend David Brody, “she lost.”

“She has spent $50 million in two of the smallest states we’ve got. She spent $20 million in Iowa, 95% of the money trying to trash DeSantis because she wanted to come in number two. She failed, she came in number three,” he adds.

Election analyst just noticed something about the NH primary no one else caught

Despite her hopes to win the New Hampshire primary, Nikki Haley has found herself in Donald Trump’s shadow once again.

It’s speculated that many of Haley’s supporters are who Dave Rubin calls “crossover people,” or voters who typically consider themselves liberals but are now voting Republican because of various issues they’re seeing among the Democratic Party — perhaps most notably the likelihood that Joe Biden will be the party’s nominee.

Unsurprisingly, many longtime conservatives have accused Nikki Haley of being a RINO, which likely explains her popularity among those crossover voters.

Political analyst David Chalian has confirmed that this likely is true by looking at the data from the New Hampshire primary.

“In these exit poll results, you see a Mars and Venus universe for Haley and Trump coalitions,” Chalian told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“Among Trump voters, 70% of them, according to our exit polls, are registered Republicans,” while “27% of his voters are registered undeclared or independents.”

In stark contrast, “among Haley voters, 70% are registered undeclared,” and “only 27% are registered Republicans.”

“It’s a complete reversal!” exclaims Chalian.

However, the data gets even more interesting.

“We also see this when asking people, ‘Did Joe Biden legitimately win the 2020 election?’... Among Trump voters, 80% say no,” compared to the “83% of Haley voters” who claim “Joe Biden was the legitimate winner in 2020.”

“It's just worth noting who those crossover people went to,” says Dave, “and you can either then say, ‘Okay, that means that they're not really Republicans and they'll never vote for a Republican,’ or you could say, ‘Oh, these are people who could potentially vote for a Republican like Nikki; they just will not vote for Trump.”’

MSNBC’s O’Donnell claims Trump had a 'very bad night' in New Hampshire despite his decisive victory

Voters turned out in record numbers Tuesday to cast ballots in New Hampshire's Republican primary.

Nikki Haley initially appeared confident. After all, she had endorsements from Republican Govs. Chris Sununu (N.H.) and Asa Hutchinson (Ark.); the backing of at least one top Democratic donor; an apparent army of non-Republicans ready to vote for her; and positive media coverage.

Former President Donald Trump handily beat her by double digits.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, who has evidenced some trouble distinguishing between fact and fiction, painted Trump's receipt of 54.6% of the vote and 12 delegates as a bad omen for the Republican candidate, claiming he had a "very bad night."

O'Donnell's launched into an apples-to-oranges comparison with the intention to cast Trump's win as a prelude to a November loss.

"One of the relevant frames to use in looking at what Trump achieved and what he did not achieve is what Joe Biden achieved," said the liberal talking head. "Someone else came in second tonight."

The second runner-up O'Donnell was referring to was Democratic challenger Rep. Dean Phillips (Minn.), who took 19.7% of the vote in the New Hampshire Democratic primary — more or less what an American Research Group poll indicated earlier this month he would receive. Biden, who failed to register in the state, alternatively received 67.5% of the vote.

"So Dean Phillips got completely crushed, didn't come close to the threshold," said O'Donnell. "So Joe Biden demonstrates this enormous strength in New Hampshire tonight."

"Then you have Trump showing much greater weakness against a credible challenger," continued the MSNBC host, who apparently missed both the CNN exit poll indicating roughly 70% of Haley supporters were not registered Republicans and the Iowa Republican primary results. "It depends on how you want to look at Trump. He wants to be called president in court and everywhere, so let's call him president just for this moment."

"When a president is on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary, you are supposed to win everything. You are not supposed to face a serious challenger. And when you do, you lose," said O'Donnell. "There is no president who faced a serious challenge in the New Hampshire primary who then won in November."

"So this is a very bad night for Donald Trump, looking at the pattern of presidents in the New Hampshire primary situations who face very serious challenges," concluded O'Donnell.

While Trump did not live up to the MSNBC host's expectations, he is nevertheless leading Biden in the latest polls by several points — by five points according to Morning Consult; by six points according to Harvard CAPS/ Harris; and by four points according to the Messenger/HarrisX poll.

While Haley's non-Republican supporters may have skewed the New Hampshire primary results to suggest a closer race than first indicated in Iowa, recent polls of registered Republicans put Trump over 60 points ahead of the former U.N. ambassador.

A Harvard-Harris poll recently asked GOP voters who would they vote for if the 2024 election was held today. Over 71% said Trump and 9% said Haley.

Trump defeats Haley in New Hampshire Republican presidential primary

Former President Donald Trump won the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary, defeating Nikki Haley, who previously served as U.S. ambassador to the U.N. during a portion of Trump's White House tenure.

While New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu had endorsed Haley, polls had been indicating that Trump had a lead heading into the Granite State contest.

Undeclared voters could also vote in the primary. "An undeclared voter may vote in a state primary or a presidential primary," according to the New Hampshire secretary of state website. "You will be required to choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot when you go to vote."

Trump's New Hampshire victory came after he won the Iowa Republican presidential caucuses last week.

After Vivek Ramaswamy placed fourth in Iowa, he swiftly dropped out and endorsed Trump. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who placed a distant second behind Trump in Iowa, announced on Sunday that he was suspending his campaign and endorsing the former president. Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who dropped out after barely earning any votes in the Hawkeye State, has expressed support for Haley.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who launched then later dropped his own presidential bid last year, recently endorsed Trump. Haley appointed Scott to the U.S. Senate more than a decade ago while she was serving as South Carolina governor.

There was also an unsanctioned Democratic presidential primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday.

"January 23rd is a non-binding presidential preference event and is meaningless and the NHDP and presidential candidates should take all steps possible not to participate," Minyon Moore and James Roosevelt Jr., co-chairs of the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee, declared in a letter earlier this month to New Hampshire Democratic Party chair Raymond Buckley. "No delegates or alternates shall be apportioned based on the results of the January 23, 2024 event."

While President Joe Biden did not appear on the Democratic presidential primary ballot in New Hampshire, voters could write him in.

DeSantis would WRECK the left with THIS Trump cabinet seat

In a shocking move, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

Glenn Beck believes this was a good move.

“This was my advice ... Thursday or Friday, my advice was he should drop out now — do no more damage to his name. You don’t want to look like you lost over and over and over again,” Glenn says.

However, protecting his reputation isn’t the only reason it was a good move.

“Mr. President, listen carefully. Please, will you consider Ron DeSantis as your attorney general?” Glenn asks.

Not only does DeSantis have an excellent track record in Florida, but Glenn notes that he “has law experience up the wazoo; he’s a proven fighter” and “he knows the deep state.”

“If there’s anyone who could go in and clean up the justice department and then start cleaning up all of the nightmares and return justice back to the justice department, I think it’s Ron DeSantis,” Glenn explains.

This, Glenn believes, would be a great move for Donald Trump.

“If he would accept that, and Donald Trump would announce that now, you would have huge momentum with Ron DeSantis voters, you would also have it with Trump voters,” Glenn says.
