Novak Djokovic's response to heckler's nasty attack at Australian Open is PERFECTION

Serbian superstar tennis player Novak Djokovic is no stranger to criticism. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was severely ridiculed and banned from competing in several of the world’s biggest tournaments for refusing to take the vaccine.

Back in 2022, he told a BBC reporter in what’s now a famous interview that being barred from competing was “the price [he was] willing to pay” to maintain autonomy over his body.

“The principles of decision-making on my body are more important than any title,” he said confidently, despite the interviewer’s apparent disapproval.

Today, Djokovic is revered by many as an anti-vax hero.

However, there are some out there who believe in the infallibility of the vaccine and continue to condemn the athlete’s decision. This was evident during a match that took place over the weekend during the Australian Open.

Dave Rubin plays a clip of Djokovic’s response to a heckler in the crowd who brazenly shouted, “Get vaccinated!”

Without reacting, Djokovic scored what is called an ace — a serve that is hit so perfectly the opponent cannot even come close to returning it.

“That's what it's all about — standing up for what you believe and doing what you think is right,” says Dave.

The sponsor for THIS Novak Djokovic US Open highlight will first make you SICK and then make you LAUGH

The US Open Tennis Championship finals just happened over the weekend. Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic won the tournament again for a fourth time, making him “the greatest tennis player in the history of the sport” in the eyes of many.

And we’re thrilled for him.

What we’re not thrilled about, however, is who advertised and sponsored the “shot of the day” segment for the tournament.

Can you think of a megacorporation that might sponsor the shot of the day?

If you guessed Moderna, then give yourself a pat on the back.

“Shot of the day — the gall of these people,” says Dave Rubin, who then plays a clip from the tournament.

“The shot of the day, brought to you by Moderna,” drones a voice over a clip of Djokovic’s final stroke to win the match.

“They’re still doing it, guys,” says Dave in disgust.

You may be wondering where the funny part comes in.

Well, here it is:

Ironically, Novak Djokovic has long resisted the vaccine, even when it meant lost opportunities and relentless criticism.

Dave plays a clip of an interview Djokovic did with the BBC back in February 2022.

“I understand the consequences of my decision,” Djokovic tells the reporter, referencing his absence from the past two US Opens as well as the Australian Open as a result of being unvaccinated.

“Are you prepared to forgo the chance to be the greatest player that ever picked up a racket statistically because you feel so strongly about this jab?” asks the reporter, who clearly can’t fathom how someone could value bodily autonomy so highly.

“The principles of decision-making on my body are more important than any title or anything else,” replies the superstar with confidence.

“What a beautiful answer,” says Dave.

We couldn’t agree more.

Joe Rogan has a blistering reaction to this new boycott

Pride Month is nearly halfway over, and many people were over it and over the virtue-signaling by massive corporations before it even started.

One of those people is Joe Rogan, host of the podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" — which garners a couple hundred million listeners a month.

Rogan says he doesn’t want to walk down the Target aisles and have the Pride section with tucking bathing suits and pride wear for children shoved in his face.

“When I go to Target, I don’t want to see like f***ing tuck pants” that are “designed to help you tuck your d***. Like, hey, that’s not normal,” Rogan says.

Nor does he fail to see why people are angry with Bud Light.

“You’re just gonna send a f***ing can to some confused person — that uh, day 365 of womanhood — and you send that person a f***ing can with their face on and your company loses 20 billion dollars. That is wild s**t, man,” Rogan says to his guest, comedian Theo Von.

“So, we’re seeing that now, where we never saw that before. Where people are going ‘Enough, enough, stop shoving this down everybody’s throat,'” he continues.

Dave Rubin agrees with Rogan.

“That really is the issue. Does it have to be out there in front of everybody, and again, does it have to be aimed towards kids?”

Rubin believes that the reason it’s so refreshing to hear someone like Joe Rogan lay out his disdain for the over-saturation of Pride Month is because “he just kind of represents the average dude” who’s “not pretending to be anything other than what he is, and he’s had it.”

While some have criticized the boycotts of Target and Bud Light as aligned with cancel culture, Rubin disagrees, calling being canceled for an off-color comment “inorganic.”

He continues, saying that the people who listen to Joe Rogan, “that buy Bud Light, that maybe shop at Target, they’ve all had it. And that’s the beauty, because this is an organic movement.”

Biden administration’s decision to deny unvaxxed Novak Djokovic entry proves COVID jabs were always about conformity, not containment

Until Djokovic’s entry is on their terms, when they say being unvaccinated is acceptable, the Biden admin will sentence him to the sidelines.

Top-ranked Novak Djokovic withdraws from BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells after being denied entry into the US due to vaccination status

Novak Djokovic, prohibited from traveling to the United States over his COVID-19 vaccination status, has withdrawn from the 2023 Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, tournament organizers announced in a tweet Sunday night.

"World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the 2023 BNP Paribas Open. With his withdrawal, Nikoloz Basilashvili moves into the field," organizers said, appending the hashtag #TennisParadise.

The Association of Tennis Professionals ranks Djokovic as the world's top men's tennis player.

Djokovic, who hails from Serbia and is reportedly unvaccinated, needs a COVID-19 vaccine waiver to enter the United States. He has tested positive for the virus in the past and has played in tournaments worldwide after testing positive in January 2022.

Djokovic's withdrawal suggests Florida Senators Rick Scott (R) and Marco Rubio (R) have not yet been unsuccessful in their appeal to President Biden to grant a vaccine waiver for Djokovic.

The senators' appeal to the president came in the form of a letter dated last Friday. In the letter, they cite both scientific and economic grounds for granting the request. Without the waiver, Djokovic will also be unable to compete in the Miami Open, which begins March 19.

The Department of Homeland Security received Djokovic's vaccine waiver request, according to the letter the senators sent to the president. Only "limited exceptions" apply to waiver requests, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website.

Legislation dismantling the requirement for international travelers to show proof of vaccine status prior to boarding flights to the United States has been advancing. HR 185, introduced by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) passed the House February 8.

Seven Democrats joined Republicans in voting to end the vaccine requirement for international travelers. Though the Biden administration dropped its requirement for international travelers to present a negative COVID test before flying, the vaccination requirements remain, Reuters reported.

"The need for this requirement has long since passed, and we appreciate the bipartisan action by the U.S. House to end this outdated policy. ... The U.S. is the only country that has maintained this policy," the The U.S. Travel Association told the outlet.

The United States will formally end its COVID-19 public health emergency on May 11, according to the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

For Djokovic, the official end of the emergency will arrive roughly two months too late.

DHS denies vaccine waiver for Novak Djokovic; senators implore Biden to intervene; Indian Wells and Miami Open on the line

The Department of Homeland Security denied tennis champion Novak Djokovic's vaccine waiver request, making him ineligible to compete in the Indian Wells Masters and the Miami Open later this month, according to a letter sent by Florida's two Republican senators.

"We urge you to promptly grant Mr. Djokovic a waiver to the vaccine mandate for international travelers to enable him to compete in the Miami Open," Senators Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) wrote in a letter to President Biden Friday, citing both scientific and economic grounds for their request.

“🚨 BREAKING: We have been told that @DHSgov just denied @DjokerNole's vaccine waiver request, making him ineligible to compete in the US next week in CA & in the @MiamiOpen.

@JoeBiden must fix this NOW, grant the waiver & allow him to compete here in the states.”

The world's top men's singles player will not be permitted to play in the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells in California next week nor in the Miami Open later this month in Florida unless government authorities shift course and grant the waiver.

The Florida senators noted in their letter that President Biden himself declared in September 2022 that the pandemic is over. They further noted that Dr. Anthony Fauci has acknowledged the limited efficacy of vaccines in protecting against pathogens like the novel coronavirus.

"Mr. Djokovic is a world-class athlete in peak physical condition who is not at high risk of severe complications from COVID-19. It seems both illogical and misaligned with your own administration to not grant him the wavier he requests so that he may travel to the U.S. to compete in a professional event," the Florida senators' letter also said.

Djokovic, a Serbian tennis champion with multiple homes in different countries, would not be permitted to travel into the United States under the current vaccine mandate for international travelers.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website states non-U.S. citizens "must show proof of being fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine before you board your flight to the United States." The site also says "only limited exceptions" apply.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) introduced HR 185 in January. The bill that would end COVID-19 vaccine mandates for international travelers passed the House February 8.

"This vaccine mandate is keeping families separated, hurting our economy, and preventing some of the best athletes in the world from competing here," Massie said in a statement at the time.

"No free country, other than the United States, requires international visitors to prove they've taken the COVID-19 vaccine," Massie also said.

Benjamin Hart, associate editor at Intelligencer reluctantly agreed with Scott, Rubio, and Massie.

"The U.S., alone among major tennis destinations, continues to bar unvaccinated travelers from its shores, despite the unclear-at-best benefit of doing so," Hart said in a piece published Saturday.

"To be clear, Scott and Rubio are far from trusted authorities on COVID. And yet their overall point — that the travel restrictions make little sense in March 2023 — is sound. When these two have a point, it’s a sign that something is amiss."

Djokovic was granted an exception to compete in the Australia Open last year based on a recent recovery from COVID, CNN reported, citing documents published by Australia's Federal Circuit Court. Djokovic took to Instagram to clarify the matter at the time, saying circulating "misinformation" was "very hurtful and concerning" to his family.

The U.S. Open Tennis Championships tweeted Friday that it is "hopeful" Novak will receive the waiver.

“Novak Djokovic is one the greatest champions our sport has ever seen. The USTA and US Open are hopeful that Novak is successful in his petition to enter the country, and that the fans will be able to see him back in action at Indian Wells and Miami.”

WH press sec left silenced when reporter corrects her for claiming migrants are not walking across border: 'That’s exactly what’s happening!'

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was silenced on Monday when confronted over the Biden administration's contradictory COVID-19 vaccine policies.

What is the background?

Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic announced last week that he would not compete in this year's U.S. Open because he is not vaccinated for COVID-19.

Currently, the U.S. prohibits non-U.S. citizens from flying into the U.S. if they are not vaccinated for COVID.

"Non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrants: You must show proof of being fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine before you board your flight to the United States. Only limited exceptions apply," read guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

What happened with KJP?

At the White House press briefing, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked the obvious question: Why is Djokovic prohibited from briefly entering the U.S. to play in a tennis tournament, but unvaccinated migrants are allowed to enter the U.S. at the southern border?

"How come migrants are allowed to come into this country unvaccinated, but world-class tennis players are not?" he asked.

At first, Jean-Pierre deflected and referred Doocy to question the CDC, absolving the White House — which runs the executive branch, under which the CDC falls — of responsibility, but Doocy pressed harder.

"They’re two different things," Jean-Pierre claimed.

"How is it two different things?" Doocy pressed. "Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane; you say that’s not okay. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated; they’re allowed to stay. Why?"

The press secretary proceeded to claim "that’s not how it works" and that migrants are not pouring into the U.S. through the southern border.

"It’s not like somebody walks over and — that’s not — that’s not how —" Jean-Pierre said before Doocy interjected.

"That’s exactly what’s happening!" Doocy fired back. "Thousands of people are walking in a day. Some of them turn themselves over. Some of them are caught; tens of thousands a week are not. That is what is happening."

Doocy's sharp response left Jean-Pierre in silence. When she finally responded, she dodged the premise of Doocy's question altogether and instead praised President Joe Biden for the actions he has allegedly taken to address the border crisis.

When Doocy asked one final time about the CDC vaccine requirement for people who fly to the U.S., as opposed to entering on foot, Jean-Pierre steered the exchange toward Title 42 before turning to the next reporter.

For what it is worth, Title 42 does not mandate that migrants be vaccinated for COVID, but it permits the government to refuse migrants entry to stop the spread of disease.

Anything else?

Bill Melugin, a Fox News reporter who has spent considerable time reporting on the border crisis, confirmed that people do, in fact, freely walk across the border.

"Colleague @pdoocy is 100% correct. That is exactly what is happening at the border," Melguin wrote on Twitter. "Not sure how many more videos we have to show, multiple times a day, to get this point across. And that doesn’t even account for the more than half a million gotaways who slipped thru since 10/1."

“Cade and point 👇🏻
This happens EVERY single day, multiple times a day in Eagle Pass alone. One tiny spot on the border. Yes, they do just walk across by the hundreds. A large majority of them in Del Rio sector are then released. It is that simple.

https://t.co/EgLbmVN1el”
