'Worst of the worst': Cops bust 24-hour immigrant-run brothel in NYC's notorious 'Market of Sweethearts'

NYPD cops conducted a late-night raid on the immigrant-run brothel in New York City on Wednesday, according to officials.

The New York Post reported that the raid took place at an immigrant-run brothel located in the infamous “Market of Sweethearts” — a main strip along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens that is notorious for its rampant prostitution.

‘But there’s prostitution all over. It’s ridiculous. It’s shameful.’

The raid was launched by police officers from the vice squad and the 110th Precinct. Law enforcement officials said prostitutes and johns were arrested in the raid.

“This brothel was the worst of the worst. It operates 24 hours,” Queens Democratic district leader Hiram Monserrate told the Post.

Monserrate noted that the sex workers are illegal immigrants who are forced into prostitution to pay off debts of up to $50,000 to human traffickers.

“The migrant crisis has contributed to the crime — the sheer number who came here in a short period of time. Some of them are part of organized crime rings,” Monserrate added.

The news outlet highlighted that immigrant sex workers solicit business on the busy streets while drugs and stolen merchandise are peddled on the sidewalk in broad daylight.

Mirella Gutierrez, co-owner of a pharmacy near Roosevelt Avenue, said, “But there’s prostitution all over. It’s ridiculous. It’s shameful.”

Guiterrez said her business is hurting because the customers "feel threatened" by the prostitutes and vendors hawking stolen goods.

In New York City, prostitution is a class B misdemeanor — punishable by up to 90 days in jail.

In January, the NYPD announced that it had shut down a dozen brothels posing as massage parlors in Queens' "Market of Sweethearts" that were rife with “inhumane conditions” during a weeklong operation.

However, the Post reported that there were sex workers propositioning potential clients a day after the raids.

In a Blaze News exclusive, it was revealed that the violent Venezuelan gang known as Tren de Aragua has infiltrated the United States in unknown numbers and has been targeting desperate immigrants. Tren de Aragua is actively expanding its transnational criminal empire to include kidnapping, extortion, and human trafficking.

Tren de Aragua purportedly forces women into prostitution to pay off smuggler debt. If they refuse, the gang members reportedly threaten to murder their family members in Venezuela.

In October 2021, Mayor Eric Adams declared that New York City would remain a sanctuary city under his leadership and would welcome undocumented immigrants.

However, the Democratic mayor has changed his tune regarding illegal immigration after New York City has been ravaged by a immigrant crisis.

In August 2023, Adams warned that the influx of illegal aliens would cost New York City an estimated $12 billion over the next three years.

Adams also proclaimed that the Big Apple is "past our breaking point" because of a "broken immigration system."

As Blaze News reported in November 2023, Adams admitted that the influx of Venezuelan immigrants had contributed to the increased numbers of prostitutes in New York City. However, Adams claimed that the women turn to prostitution because they can't find work that is legal.

Last month, Adams called for changes to New York's sanctuary city laws due to several high-profile crimes committed by immigrants.

"What we need to alter are those who are repeat, violent offenders," Adams said. "After they served their time they should be turned over to ICE and be removed from our city."

Blaze News previously reported that more than 60% of suspects arrested in Queens are illegal immigrants.

As of August, over 210,000 illegal aliens had arrived in New York City since the spring of 2022.

Bill Maher’s crowd roars for Andrew Cuomo’s message for ‘woke’ Democrats

Andrew Cuomo, “disgraced former governor of New York” according to Dave Rubin, recently joined the “Real Time with Bill Maher” show.

One subject the panel broached was immigration — arguably America’s most pressing issue.

Cuomo didn’t hold back his criticisms regarding how our Democratic administration has handled the migrant crisis.

Bill Maher’s Crowd Roars for Andrew Cuomo’s Message for ‘Woke’ Democratsyoutu.be

“I get the theory of the extreme left — we’re a land of immigrants; let everyone come in; we all came as immigrants. I get it,” he began, “but how you do it makes all the difference in the world.”

“To just open the borders with no plan? You don't know where they go; you don't know who's going to pay for them; they wind up in cities all across the country.”

Then, he turned his fiery words toward New York City specifically — a place that’s currently regretting its decision to be a sanctuary city.

“New York has a couple hundred thousand [illegal immigrants] in hotels, costing New York City a fortune,” he said.

These people have “no jobs, no training, no help to assimilate into society,” he continued, asking, “So, who did you even help?”

“You have the person in your old job — the governor of New York, a Democrat — saying, ‘Don't come here.’ Those are her exact words,” Maher added.

“Many mayors and governors said no” to being a sanctuary city, “but New York was more of the ideological left ... and now we're finding out 200,000 people later you needed a plan; you needed to know what to do with these people,” Cuomo said over the applause of Maher’s audience.

Dave, however, goes a step further: “You have no duty to let illegal people into your country if you don't want them here,” he says, adding that Cuomo “probably would have done the exact same things” he’s now criticizing had he not been ousted from his role as governor.

“I don't know that he'd be doing anything different now than Kathy Hochul except he is no longer governor, so now he can go on Bill Maher’s show and pretend, and be like, 'Well, I'm the sane one obviously. I would have had a plan, and we wouldn't have let these 200,000 people in,'" Dave mocks.

WATCH: Theo Von reacts to migrants attacking NYPD: 'I will beat the horchata out of that motherf****r'

Comedian and podcaster Theo Von put all jokes aside when discussing the migrants who attacked New York police officers with Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem on “This Past Weekend.”

Dave Rubin plays a clip of Von going off on what can only be described as complete “nonsense.”

“The fact that they’re putting the officers at risk … you gotta go,” Von told Clem.

What makes matters worse is that the offenders were released just hours after the incident and were flipping off the cameras and blowing kisses as they walked free.

To that, Von said, “I think it's a bad look to the people of this country who are still trying to obey the laws and uphold them.”

“Well, that’s the lack of consequences, right?” said Clem. “This is what pisses off the Border Patrol agents because we've had to process and release these types of people.”

Perhaps Von didn’t put all jokes aside, because he added, “Let that motherf****r loose around Sean Strickland” and “I will beat the horchata out of that motherf****r” in reference to the migrant who was flipping off the camera and blowing kisses.

“There's a total lack of respect,” Von continued, “and when we don't show any respect for ourselves … a lack of respect [is] going to keep coming.”

Dave is particularly impressed with that last comment.

“If we don't show respect for ourselves, other people will not respect us, and that's what we are doing to this country. We are not respecting our laws, so then other people come here and they don't respect our laws,” he says in agreement.

CNN host can only respond with 'oh' after crime analyst explains why migrants don’t steal in red states

The best way to prove a point is to use cold, hard facts, and that’s exactly what CNN’s Erica Hill was hit with when chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst John Miller explained the reality of migrant-related crime.

While Miller acknowledged that the majority of illegal immigrants pouring into cities like New York are “hard-working” and simply “in search of hope and a better life,” there is another demographic that sees “a different opportunity.”

“These individuals (I went over their wrap sheets yesterday) [have] multiple charges of grand larceny, robbery, [and] attempted robbery,” Miller explained.

“What the detectives are telling me is they have crews here that operate in New York, do all their stealing, then go to Florida to spend the money, and then come back. And I’m like, ‘Well, why don’t they just stay and steal in Florida?’ and they said, ‘Because there you go to jail,’” Miller continued.

“Oh,” was all Hill could manage to utter in response.

“I guess as a Floridian, I should thank these people,” laughs Dave Rubin. “Keep doing it [Kathy Hochul]. Go for it [Eric Adams]. Open up all of your stores, and let them steal all your stuff.”

Eric Adams announces sweeping NYC budget cuts due to migrant crisis, slashes NYPD to lowest levels since 1980s

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced massive budget cuts for the Big Apple with far-reaching cuts to the NYPD force, education, and libraries. City officials say the deep budget cuts stem from the current migrant crisis, and warn there could be future financial restraints if the illegal immigrant situation continues.

Effective immediately, the New York Police Department must freeze all hiring and reduce the number of law enforcement officers from more than 33,000 to 30,000. The last time New York City had fewer than 30,000 officers was in 1984, according to the Independent Budget Office.

Patrick Hendry – NYC’s police union president – warned that the budget cuts would hamper the police department's ability to keep New Yorkers safe.

“This is truly a disaster for every New Yorker who cares about safe streets,” Hendry said. “Cops are already stretched to our breaking point, and these cuts will return us to staffing levels we haven’t seen since the crime epidemic of the ’80s and ’90s. We cannot go back there.”

While he was a mayoral candidate, Adams made campaign promises to beef up the police force and railed against the "Defund the Police" movement.

The New York Fire Department will have overtime limited. Any civilian and light-duty firefighter vacancies will be eliminated.

The budget cuts will slash the budget of the New York City Education Department by more than $1 billion – $547 million will be cut this fiscal year and another $600 million in 2025, according to Fox 5 New York. The outlet added, "There will be expansive 5% budget cuts at every city agency, which are expected to happen again two more times next year."

The city’s Summer Rising program – which provides children with recreational activities during the summer months – will be forced to reduce hours for middle school students.

The New York Times reported that the city is "eliminating thousands of spots for universal prekindergarten for 3-year-olds" and " community schools are being cut by $10 million in the current fiscal year."

Michael Mulgrew – president of the United Federation of Teachers – noted that the budget restraints would cause 653 schools to make midyear budget cuts — approximately 43% of the school system.

Mulgrew declared, "Class sizes will rise, and school communities will be needlessly damaged."

The NYC school system has already been stressed due to the migrant crisis after an additional 8,000 students enrolled in the city's public school system this year – the first enrollment increase in eight years.

Starting in December, public libraries will close branches on Sundays because of the budget cuts.

NYC library leaders stated, "We also will be reducing spending on library materials, programming, and building maintenance and repairs. Without sufficient funding, we cannot sustain our current levels of service, and any further cuts to the libraries’ budgets will, unfortunately, result in deeper service impacts."

Adams described the budget cuts as "the most painful exercise I’ve ever done in my professional life."

Adams said on Tuesday, "It is more than painful for New Yorkers — it’s painful for us. I’ve seen a great deal of just personal pain from the members of my team. These are initiatives that we fought hard for."

Adams called on the Biden administration to provide federal aid to the city for the migrant influx.

“No city should be left to handle a national humanitarian crisis largely on its own, and without the significant and timely support we need from Washington, D.C., today’s budget will be only the beginning," Adams said in a statement.

“For months, we have warned New Yorkers about the challenging fiscal situation our city faces,” Adams continued. “To balance the budget as the law requires, every city agency dug into their own budget to find savings, with minimal disruption to services,” he said. “And while we pulled it off this time, make no mistake: Migrant costs are going up, tax revenue growth is slowing and COVID stimulus funding is drying up.”

Adams warned that there would be even more budget cuts if the federal government doesn't provide more financial and logistical aid for the surge of illegal immigrants.

New York City has already spent $1.45 billion on the "asylum seeker humanitarian crisis."

Adams said the migrant crisis would cost New York City an estimated $11 billion over the next two years.

An estimated 10,000 illegal immigrants have recently funneled into New York City per month.

While on the campaign trail, Adams proclaimed that New York City would be a sanctuary city.

In October 2021, Adams declared: "We should protect our immigrants. Period. Yes, New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration."

Watch: Joe Rogan calls New York’s immigration policy 'political horse s**t' – 'They’re literally importing Democratic voters!'

“If you live in New York City,” says Dave Rubin, you’d be wise to “leave immediately.” Otherwise, you might find yourself in the awkward position of being forced to host illegal immigrants in your home.

Joe Rogan and American pro surfer Shane Dorian discussed this issue on a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience."

“New York City literally has a mandate to house its homeless,” said Rogan, “and that was supposed to be the people that lived there that were down on their luck, and now it's people that have come in from other cities or other countries, rather, illegally.”

What’s even more upsetting is the fact that “they're trying to make it so that those people can vote.”

Venezuelans specifically, however, are being sent back “because Venezuela opposes socialism, so they're not going to vote Democratic,” Rogan continues.

“That sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it’s, like, totally political,” added Dorian.

“They’re literally importing Democratic voters. They think by allowing the borders to be porous and by giving people aid and giving people housing, you're essentially guaranteeing that if you can rig it so that those people are allowed to vote, those people are going to vote Democratic,” explained Rogan. “It’s all political horse s**t.”

95-year-old war veteran KICKED OUT of nursing home to make room for illegal immigrants

Yes, you read that headline correctly. A 95-year-old Korean War veteran by the name of Frank Tammaro was told to leave his nursing home to make room for incoming illegal immigrants.

It’s outrageous and insulting on every level.

Dave Rubin plays a clip of Tammaro retelling the horrific story of being kicked out of his home .

“It was very disgraceful what they did to the people in Island Shores,” Tammaro told reporters.

“They gave us time to get out, but they never said when. ... Then, one day, there's a notice on the board: you gotta be out by March 15th,” he recounted. “I think that gave us like a month and a half to find out where we were going to go.”

“I thought my suitcases were going to be on the curb because I’m not that fast; if it wasn’t for my daughter, they would’ve been on the curb,” he said, still somehow maintaining a gentle smile.

“Absolutely evil and disgusting,” says Dave.

“Once you say, ‘Oh, we want everyone to come,’ ... you literally punish our veterans and our taxpayers and the good, decent citizens of the United States.”

Once again, we have Joe Biden and his destructive administration to thank for the undeserved misfortunes of Frank Tammaro and the plethora of others just like him.

WATCH: AOC gets screamed at and heckled as she tries to explain her ABSURD plan to fix NYC’s immigrant catastrophe

As you probably already know, NYC is drowning in illegal immigrants. Turns out being a “sanctuary state” is better in theory than in reality.

At least that’s what the people are saying. Actually, they’re not saying it; they’re screaming it at the top of their lungs while AOC, whom Dave Rubin calls a “dopey, dingbat, socialist moron,” attempts to explain her plan to fix the issue.

If you know anything about AOC, then you already know this plan is utter garbage.

We need “increased federal resources to cities and municipalities dealing with this issue,” she said to a nearly rabid crowd.

“The second is to allow for work authorizations, so that the folks in here can get to work and start supporting themselves as soon as possible,” she continued over the chants and shouts of enraged New Yorkers.

“And the third is extension of temporary protected status for Venezuelans who are the largest population,” she concluded.

Let us sum that up for you:

1. Give the Democrats more money.

2. Reward illegal aliens who broke the law with a job instead of a one-way ticket back home.

3. Allow them to stay with zero repercussions.

What a great plan.

Dave is disgusted but not surprised that her proposal is “more care and hand-holding and housing and help for these people” – people who broke the law and entered our country illegally, mind you.

“These people need jobs,” he mocks. “No, they need to leave!”

“Some douchebag at the border let you in, and he should probably be fired or his boss should be fired, but you gotta go, you can't stay here,” he says.

To watch AOC getting berated by a sea of furious people, watch the clip below.

ZERO chance the media will air THIS clip from NYC ...

New York City used to be the land of Lady Liberty, Broadway, and the beloved place "Home Alone" was filmed.

But now?

Now NYC is a land overrun with illegal immigrants. Perhaps we should have added a clarifying clause after the famous lines “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Maybe something like “but do so legally” might have been a beneficial addition.

That’s certainly what New Yorkers are crying these days. Their city is literally being drowned in illegal immigrants. The problem is so bad that NYC children are being kicked out of their schools to make room for the influx of immigrants.

Fox News recently interviewed some enraged New Yorkers storming the streets. One particular man had some choice words for the people who made New York a “sanctuary state.”

“What do you think about what the mayor's doing? And what should the president and the White House be doing?” asked the reporter.

“This is up to us; this is up to each and every one of us to stand up,” says the resident, demonstrating a clear understanding that no one should place their hopes in the current powers that be.

“Nobody’s coming here for us,” he shouts. “We’re here for ourselves … they’re coming and destroying it.”

“The reason why they’re here is to steal our votes!” he booms into the camera.

“I have no doubt the machine is gonna probably come after him … and someone will try to get him fired from his job,” says Dave Rubin, who admires the man’s courage to speak the truth.

“When he says no one is coming to help them, he’s damn well right,” says Dave. Help “has to come from the federal government” in the form of “stopping these people coming in the first place, but New York city is in an absolute free fall.”

Watch the clip below.
