12 Things To Be Thankful For This Post-Election Thanksgiving

We certainly have an abundance of blessings to count following America’s latest political war, a cornucopia in the parlance of Thanksgiving.

Failed Harris campaign went deeper into debt blowing money on star-studded events

Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and self-identified "Childless Cat Lady" Taylor Swift were among the many coastal celebrities who endorsed Kamala Harris in the lead-up to the vice president's monumental defeat. It turns out that the production of inauthentic election-time adoration and ideological conviction was expensive.

Federal filings revealed that the campaign, which is reportedly indebted to the tune of over $18 million after blowing roughly $1 billion on Harris' latest failed presidential run, poured boatloads of cash into influencer networks and production companies linked to big names in the entertainment industry.

Federal Election Commission filings show, for instance, that the Harris campaign committee paid Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions $1 million on Oct. 15.

Winfrey tried her apparent best on more than one occasion to generate excitement for Harris. In September, she hosted a rally in Michigan, suggesting that there was a "grassroots movement" behind the vice president and that Harris inspired "a real feeling of optimism and hope."

On the eve of Harris' rejection by the majority of American voters, Winfrey told a crowd in Philadelphia once again to vote, suggesting it might be their last opportunity ever to do so.

Katy Perry, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, rapper 2 Chainz, and Lady Gaga also made appearances at Harris' final swing-state concerts. The Washington Examiner indicated that the campaign blew over $15 million on "event production"-related costs.

'It didn't matter to have a bunch of celebrities talking to no one.'

Elements of the defeated Harris campaign told the New York Post that former Obama campaign adviser Stephanie Cutter pushed the star-studded concert performances as a way to turn out lower-propensity voters — a plan apparently supported by senior Harris adviser David Plouffe, who has since taken steps to erase his social media presence.

One campaign source told the Post, "They said they were 'spending to zero.' I guess they overshot zero."

Another source said that the costly events constituted "a real misuse of funds that could have been better spent on ads laying out economic polices" to irate and struggling voters. "It didn't matter to have a bunch of celebrities talking to no one, because one, 75 million people already voted, and two, people were concerned about their own financial issues, not Oprah telling them America won't exist."

The Harris campaign apparently dodged the Post's request for comment.

'Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others.'

"Money can't buy you love or a good candidate," a Trump campaign adviser told the Examiner.

When compared to President-elect Donald Trump's various podcast appearances, which were virtually all massively popular — especially his appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience," which has netted over 48.7 million views on YouTube alone despite its initial suppression — Harris' "Call Her Daddy" interview with Alex Cooper was a failure, netting fewer than 845,000 views on YouTube.

This promotional spot was not only ineffective but costly. An unnamed source told the Examiner that the Harris campaign spent six figures building a set for the vice president's "Call Her Daddy" appearance.

Federal filings also indicate that the Harris campaign spent tens of millions of dollars on consultants to stimulate and simulate support online. The Examiner noted that Village Marketing Agency received over $3.9 million, ostensibly for its help recruiting social media influencers to boost the vice president online.

Trump appeared to troll the Harris campaign on Truth Social over the weekend, writing, "I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2020 Presidential Election, raising a record amount of money, didn't have lots of$’s left over. Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others."

"Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do," continued the president elect. "We have a lot of money left over in that our biggest asset in the campaign was 'Earned Media,' and that doesn't cost very much. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

'Is Oprah p**sed at you?' Dr. Phil opens up to Glenn Beck about his conversations with Oprah

Renowned television therapist Dr. Phil McGraw told BlazeTV host Glenn Beck that he and Oprah Winfrey have completely different political views but have never clashed over them.

Dr. Phil's hit television show carrying his name was originally produced by Winfrey, who showed herself to be a staunch Democrat supporter since at least President Barack Obama.

On Election Day, Beck asked McGraw if Winfrey took issue with his recent appearance at a Donald Trump campaign rally.

"Is Oprah pissed at you?" Beck laughed.

"You mean [about] the fact that we see things politically differently?" McGraw quickly replied.

"She has the right to see things the way she sees them. I have the right to see things the way I see them. You know what? I think we are the perfect example of how we need to understand that people are not their beliefs."

"Amen," Beck agreed.

McGraw then explained that in all their years working together, he and Winfrey have never had a spat over politics or anything else.

"We get along great. We don't always talk about politics, but I have total respect for her. She and I haven't had a cross word in 30 years."

According to Variety, McGraw has not officially endorsed Trump, and an endorsement was not the reason he spoke at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally.

McGraw reportedly called his Trump rally speech an "act of rebellion" after requesting "25-plus times to speak to Kamala Harris" and getting nowhere.

Dr. Phil said he "never got so much as a yes, no, maybe."

Following his speech at Trump's rally, McGraw claimed, a Kamala Harris campaign staffer reached out to him about possibly speaking at an event in Washington, D.C.

He told them, "Absolutely, tell me when and where to be, and I will bring a transcript of the speech and give it at a Harris rally."

"Never heard another word once they found out I was serious," McGraw said.

As for Winfrey, her interview with Harris was seen as a disaster, with the vice president seemingly unable to answer even the most softball questions from the host and audience members.

Harris took an audience question about what steps she would take to secure the border if elected.

"It's a wonderful and important question," Harris replied. "I, you know my background was as a prosecutor, and I was also the elected attorney general for two terms of a border state. So this is not a theoretical issue for me. This is something I've actually worked on."

"I take very seriously the importance of having a secure border," Harris continued, "and ensuring the safety of the American people."

McGraw said he doesn't agree with everything Trump says and that he doesn't like celebrity endorsements for politicians.

Oprah steps in to SAVE Kamala from disaster

“Unite for America” is an event hosted by Oprah Winfrey, who invited Kamala Harris to speak as her star guest.

The event also featured American citizens who were given the chance to voice their concerns over what’s happening in their country — and not surprisingly, Harris struggled to give straightforward answers.

“When you become president, what would be your specific steps to strengthening the border?” one man named Justin asked Harris.

“I, you know, my background was as a prosecutor,” Harris began. “So this is not a theoretical issue for me, this is something I’ve actually worked on.”

“I take very seriously the importance of having a secure border,” she continued.

Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” isn’t happy with her answer.

“Why don’t we talk about the fact that you are currently the vice president of the United States of America, tasked with overseeing the border? Huh! Why don’t we discuss that? I’ll tell you why. ‘Cause millions, tens of millions have come across that border on your watch,” Gray says.

Oprah even jumped in at one point to get some laughs from the audience when Harris admitted she was a “gun owner,” acting shocked that Harris would be in possession of a firearm at all.

“I did not know that,” Oprah squealed to laughter from the audience.

“If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,” Harris confirmed before cackling, “I probably shouldn’t have said that.”

Oprah pulls out all the stops for Harris rally only to have the VP fumble on border question

Oprah Winfrey hosted a rally Thursday in Michigan, attempting to generate some excitement for Kamala Harris' campaign with the help of various wealthy Hollywood script-readers, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and identity-based booster groups.

After Winfrey spent roughly 25 minutes doing her best to convince potential voters that there is actually a "grassroots movement" behind Harris and that the vice president inspires "a real feeling of optimism and hope," Harris took the stage to knock back several softball questions.

Although the propagandic Q&A was designed to help Harris, it once again demonstrated that she is light on answers, heavy on platitudes, and incapable even in a friendly sit-down of offering actionable solutions to the problems she has helped create and exacerbate while vice president.

At one point, an audience member asked Harris — who oversaw the illegal entry of tens of millions of illegal aliens as border czar and condemned the border wall — what "specific steps to strengthening the border" she would take if elected president.

'I take very seriously the importance of having a secure border.'

"It's a wonderful and important question," said Harris. "I, you know my background was as a prosecutor, and I was also the elected attorney general for two terms of a border state. So this is not a theoretical issue for me. This is something I've actually worked on."

"I take very seriously the importance of having a secure border," continued Harris, "and ensuring the safety of the American people."

Aaron Heitke, the recently retired chief Border Patrol agent for the San Diego sector, cast doubt on Harris' commitment to Americans' security Wednesday, telling members of the House Homeland Security Committee that the Biden-Harris administration hid information about illegal aliens with terrorism ties from the American public as part of its effort to "quiet the border-wide crisis."

Heitke said, "The administration was trying to convince the public that there was no threat at the border."

Owing to the Biden-Harris administration's policies, the sector chief indicated the border went virtually undefended in various high-traffic areas for "weeks and months at a time," while unknown numbers of dangerous foreign nationals poured in.

Blaze News previously reported that at the same hearing, Patty Morin, mother of Rachel Morin, said, "They are bringing criminals into our country. They are allowing them into our smallest towns, and our people are dying."

Rachel Morin was savagely raped and murdered. The suspected perpetrator is an illegal alien who fled El Salvador to the U.S. last year after murdering a young woman.

Harris' meandering three-minute response culminated in a criticism of Republicans for not passing Democrats' so-called bipartisan border bill — legislation that would not have remedied the party's illegal immigration crisis, which could largely be resolved by actions taken by the executive branch.

Winfrey appeared keen to help orient Harris toward some semblance of an answer for the question of how she might address the crisis she has overseen.

"To answer Justin's question, now that that bill is gone and hasn't passed, will you introduce —" Winfrey said, at which point she was interrupted by the vice president.

"Absolutely," said Harris. "When I am elected as president of the United States, I will make sure that bill gets to my desk, and I will sign it into law."

The New York Post highlighted that Harris provided no additional policy proposals besides the one lawmakers already rejected.

In one of the more brazen moments of pandering during the interview, Harris attempted to paint herself as a supporter of the Second Amendment with the competence to shoot a home intruder.

"I'm a gun owner, too," said Harris. "If someone breaks in my house, they're getting shot."

"Some people have been pushing a real false choice — to suggest you're either in favor of the Second Amendment or you want to take everyone's guns away," said Harris. "I'm in favor of the Second Amendment, and I'm in favor of assault-weapons bans, universal background checks, red-flag laws."

A video resurfaced earlier of Harris threatening to storm the homes of law-abiding Americans for surprise gun inspections.

In the 2007 footage taken at a San Francisco press conference, Harris said, "Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs."

While politicians often change their positions as Harris has over immigration, fracking, and other issues since President Joe Biden's ouster from the race, the vice president recently made clear to CNN that her "values have not changed."

During the Oprah rally, the newly minted gun-toting border defender also spoke vaguely of national unity, despite her continued efforts to vilify her opponent, who has twice been targeted in assassination attempts, and the recent survey indicating nearly 1 in 3 Democrats polled said it "would be better if Trump had been killed."

Harris said:

This is a moment where we can and must come together, as Americans, understanding we have so much more in common than what separates us. Let's come together with the character that we are so proud of about who we are, which is, we are an optimistic people. We are an optimistic people. Americans by character are people who have dreams, and ambitions, and aspirations, we believe in what is possible, we believe in what can be. And we believe in fighting for that. That's how we came into being.
