Watch: 'Dishonest' Chris Cuomo gets 'absolutely bodied' by Dave Smith in ivermectin debate when libertarian brings receipts

Comedian and libertarian political commentator Dave Smith teed off on former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo during a wide-ranging debate, including on lockdowns, ivermectin, and the conviction of former President Donald Trump.

The two political commentators squared off during a debate hosted by Patrick Bet-David – the founder of Valuetainment.

Referencing the attacks on Joe Rogan for using ivermectin, Cuomo claimed that he "didn't like what people did" to the prolific podcaster.

Smith immediately fired back, "You did it. No, no. You did."

The audience laughed, and Cuomo responded, "No. No."

After Smith rebutted him, Cuomo challenged him to "find the clips."

You're being so dishonest right now.

Within seconds, there was a video clip from CNN recorded during the pandemic, in which Cuomo is seen shaming the use of ivermectin right after Rogan infamously admitted that he was taking the anti-parasitic drug approved for humans in 1987 that has "saved lives and improved the welfare of billions of people."

The clip shows both Cuomo and Don Lemon when they were still employed at CNN.

Lemon began by saying, "People who are getting, injecting, drugs for animals and horses – oh my God."

Cuomo interjected, "And people telling them to! What person – you know you talk about cancel culture and who to shame – ivermectin? A dewormer? Really? … they need to be shamed. They need to be called out and shamed, brother."

The audience booed Cuomo after the video clip played.

Smith blasted Cuomo, "You're being so dishonest right now."

Smith questioned Cuomo, "So you're taking a dewormer right now? Do you want to apologize for that?"

Last month, Cuomo confessed that he had long COVID and it could have been caused by the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine.

As Blaze News previously reported, Cuomo told Bet-David of COVID-19 vaccine side effects, "Do I now believe that we have data to support the fact that there are thousands of people who have adverse effects, that are not getting attention let alone treatment? Yes, and I fault government for that. I do not fault myself for telling people at the time what the government was giving us as best practices."

The News Nation anchor also admitted that he was taking ivermectin.

"I'll tell you something else that's going to get you a lot of hits. I am taking a ... regular dose, you know whatever, of ivermectin. Ivermectin was a boogeyman early on in COVID," Cuomo said. "That was wrong. We were given bad information about ivermectin. The real question is, 'Why?'"

Cuomo continued, "Everyone is going to say, 'Joe Rogan was right.' No, Joe Rogan was saying — yeah, he was right, but that's not what matters. What matters is the entire clinical community knew that ivermectin couldn't hurt you. They knew it, Patrick. I know they knew it. How do I know it?" Because now I am doing nothing but talking to these clinicians who at the time were overwhelmed by COVID, and they weren't saying anything, not that they were hiding anything. But it's cheap, it's not owned by anybody, and it's used as anti-microbial, anti-viral in all these different ways and has been for a long time."

Smith recounted when CNN's chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta appeared on "The Joe Rogan Experience" in October 2021. When pressed by Rogan, Gupta admitted that his fellow CNN colleagues "shouldn't have said" that he was taking horse dewormer.

There were several occasions when CNN personalities accused Rogan of taking "horse dewormer."

Top X social media platform creator Collin Rugg posted a video of the exchange with the caption: "Chris Cuomo gets absolutely bodied after he says he 'didn't like what people did to Joe Rogan' when he came out in support of ivermectin."

Smith demanded Cuomo to apologize to Rogan.

Regarding Cuomo's flip-flop on ivermectin use after attacking Rogan for taking it, Smith told the former CNN anchor, "You were smearing him [Rogan] for saying that. You literally said, 'He's taking horse dewormer. He should be ashamed of himself.' You pleaded with your audience to not take it [ivermectin]."

Smith scolded Cuomo, "How do you not apologize to Joe Rogan?"

The crowd also chimed in to demand Cuomo apologize to Rogan.

Smith – a member of the Mises Caucus of the Libertarian Party – also nailed Cuomo for claiming that the draconian lockdowns during the pandemic were not totalitarian.

"When you’re waking up every morning to watch your TV to find out from your governor what you’re allowed to do today, including am I allowed to go to work, am I allowed to have a funeral for my father, am I allowed to see my family, am I allowed to step outside without a cover on my face – there is one word and one word only for that, and that is totalitarianism," Smith declared.

— (@)

Smith called out Cuomo and the rest of the legacy media for falsely accusing Trump of colluding with Russia.

"You guys were repeating mindlessly every day that there was some giant conspiracy with Trump and Russia and leading the entire country to believe that our election had been stolen by a hostile foreign power," Smith stated.

Smith said of "Russiagate," "The whole thing was complete nonsense just to frame Donald Trump so he couldn't get his agenda through, and CNN ran with it every single day – unquestioning."

— (@)

Smith and Cuomo did agree that Trump should not have been convicted of felony counts in his hush money trial.

"This was a misdemeanor that was trumped up to felonies. To call it 34 counts is laughable because the 34 counts are different checks that were signed to pay back Cohen," Cuomo proclaimed. "This district attorney has no problem knocking down significant felonies to misdemeanors – he did it 70% of the time."

He added, "You don't make this case against anybody else," and that is brought "for the wrong reasons."

Cuomo said the conviction "emboldens his case that everything that happens in America is corrupt," which he described as a "tragedy."

On Saturday, Smith tweeted about the debate: "The response to last night’s debate with Cuomo has been unbelievable. I know I was speaking for a lot of people and I’m glad so many of you thought I did a good job."

Liberals rage over Travis Kelce liking Sage Steele photos with Trump, Candace Owens, and more at UFC event

NFL player and reigning Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce may have exercised too much freedom on social media for the left-wing populace to handle.

Kelce, who has become a media darling for his relationship with Taylor Swift and his promotion of Pfizer vaccines, went too far according to many when he liked an Instagram photo.

The photo was posted by former ESPN anchor Sage Steele, who has made appearances in conservative circles since leaving the network. Still, Steele landed on Bill Maher's network for her new podcast.

"What. A. Night. After years of covering [UFC] at ESPN, I FINALLY got to see it live & in person. Game changer. THANK YOU [Dana White] ... for EVERYTHING!" Steele wrote on Instagram.

"Great people, great event, great fights! (Check out the last video - it's the final minute of the main card fight .. so intense!!!) #ufc299 (cue the divisive, close-minded thoughts and unfollows in 3...2...1…" she added.

Steele's photos included her shaking hands with President Trump, as well as posing with several personalities that included entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, political commentator Candace Owens, influencer SteveWillDoIt, and podcaster/actor Vincent Oshana.

It took a month after the images were posted for online sleuths to realize that Kelce had liked the post, an apparent faux pas among left-leaning voters.

As reported by Trending Politics, Kelce liked the post and dared to follow Steele's page. This elicited many strong reactions from social media users.

"Why is travis kelce following a trump supporter + just generally conservative a**hole," an X user, who referred to herself as a "Barbie" asked.

"Travis Kelce can eat s**t for all I care. He’s a drunk, xenophobic, fat phobic, trump loving, a**hole," another user wrote.

The women at "The View" had varying opinions on the matter, as they appeared guilty of the same alleged crimes due to past micro transgressions.

"Travis Kelce sparked a lot of outrage online after he liked a social media post that featured multiple photos of you know who," Whoopi Goldberg said, of course referring to President Trump.

Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin added that she "lives in fear" of liking social media posts that she doesn't want to be seen interacting with and has the habit of removing her interaction with posts.

Joy Behar said that while she dislikes President Trump, she has public pictures with his son Eric and wife, Lara, and deemed those social media posts to not mean "anything" because they were taken before the Trump presidency.

Sunny Hostin, on the other hand, declared that she believed Kelce had liked the post by mistake and that he had since removed his approval since facing backlash. She was immediately corrected by a producer in her ear that he had indeed not removed his like from the post.

WATCH: Patrick Bet-David pauses Easter celebrations to RIP into Biden’s ‘Trans Visibility Day’

Biden declaring Easter “Trans Day of Visibility” probably just sank his already sinking ship. The inevitable outrage that ensued was instant and furious.

One conservative commentator who paused his Easter celebrations to rip into Biden’s blasphemous remarks was Patrick Bet-David.

“The White House chose to celebrate transgenders – the 0.1% of America,” Bet ranted, adding that Easter is a day for “celebrating resurrection.”

“The level of disgrace that this brings to us as a country and to the rest of the world that our president wrote this and announced this yesterday … is a spit in the face to many Christians around the nation.”

“You shouldn't be okay with this, and you ought to stand up for yourself and realize that this is not acceptable. It's time for Christians to stop being so tolerant with this type of behavior,” Bet-David continued, noting that “this isn't a left, right, [or] center thing” but rather a “Christian” thing.

“If you're a Christian and your life – God – comes before your political party, you ought to stand up. If your political party comes before your faith, don't do anything about it. You decide what you value more – how you vote or how you pray.”

“If we get those orders right, the future looks bright, but if we stop fearing God and no longer want the favor of God, the future doesn't look as bright,” he concluded.

Dave Rubin applauds his friend’s words.

“Karl Popper's paradox of tolerance” claims that “if you are tolerant of intolerance, then eventually that intolerance will eat you,” he says. “That is what the woke did to the liberals. The liberals were all tolerant, and tolerance is good until a point – but the liberals could not figure out what that point was. Thus now the Democrat Party has burst forth in all of this insanity.”

But Bet-David’s second point is what Dave finds most important.

“We have God-given rights; that's what the founders intended,” says Dave. “Now you may be an atheist or purely secular … so if you don't want to call them God-given, then they're innately human [rights] ... but the point is, the government did not give us these rights, meaning if the government fell tomorrow … you don't lose your rights. The government is set up to protect your rights.”

'He said no': Steve-O says Bill Maher refused to not smoke pot for interview, despite 'Jackass' star's 16 years of sobriety

'He said no': Steve-O says Bill Maher refused to not smoke pot for interview, despite 'Jackass' star's 16 years of sobriety

Star of the "Jackass" movies and successful podcaster Steve-O said that comedian Bill Maher refused to refrain from smoking marijuana in front of him in order to conduct an interview.

During an episode of "Steve-O's Wild Ride!" the podcaster recalled guest Patrick Bet-David's appearance on Maher's "Club Random" podcast, which spawned several viral clips about Maher's views on climate change and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D).

Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover, told Bet-David that he didn't much care for the way Maher had conducted his interview with the entrepreneur.

"Your appearance on Bill Maher's show ... I found the way he spoke to you to be rather insulting," Glover began.

After establishing that he has been sober for nearly 16 years, Steve-O explained that he too had plans to appear on Maher's podcast but couldn't come to an agreement with the host.

"Really there's nothing that I value more than my sobriety. There's nothing more that I protect than my recovery, and I found it kind of upsetting when the Bill Maher podcast, which I saw you on, reached out. They said, 'You know his thing is he smokes pot the whole time while he interviews people,'" Glover recalled.

"I said, 'Happy to go on there but, but could he, while I'm on, out of respect for my sobriety, could he refrain from smoking pot?'" he recited.

"He said no," Bet-David predicted.

"He said, 'No, that's a deal breaker,'" Steve-O confirmed. The stuntman compared Maher's response to that of Mike Tyson or rapper B-Real, both of whom have podcasts centered around pot smoking.

"All of these prolific potheads, I've been on their shows, and it wasn't so important to them to blow marijuana smoke in my face," Steve-O added. "For Bill Maher, it was a dealbreaker."

The "Jackass" star also said that from his own experience, he could then see how Maher could find even the most "innocuous thing" insulting.

Steve-O has been sober for 16 years. He was asked to be on Bill Maher's podcast. Steve-O asked Maher out of respect for his sobriety if he could refrain from smoking pot during the interview and Bill said "No".

"When I sat with him I was like, 'I have no idea where this is gonna go,'" Bet-David remembered about his interview with Maher. The 45-year-old agreed that Maher was insulting him throughout the duration of the podcast, which caused him to take a different approach and act as Maher's "therapist."

"I felt one insult, two insults, three, four, five," he cited.

The Valuetainment brand owner stated that Maher's show bookers loved him and asked him to come on because they felt Maher needed to be "challenged."

Bet-David also claimed that in addition to Maher taking the speaking role for 90% of their conversation, the episode garnered the most viewer comments the "Club Random" podcast has ever received.

Don Lemon reveals he listens to Ben Shapiro and Patrick Bet-David now, recommends podcast with Chet Hanks

Don Lemon revealed his holiday recommendations for what readers should stream over the Christmas break, and his list surprisingly revealed suggestions that included conservatives Ben Shapiro and Patrick Bet David.

The editors of Puck, a media company that focuses on Hollywood, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C., featured the former CNN anchor in the outlet's "non-denominational holiday gift recommendations" guide.

"Since leaving corporate media I cut the cord," Lemon began. "I have an extensive, eclectic streaming palate now," he continued before revealing his recommendations.

First, Lemon noted Showtime series "Fellow Travelers," a show that "centers on the decades-long romance" between two gay men in the 1950s.

Then, Lemon recommended business mogul Patrick Bet-David's "PBD Podcast," which he described as "very conservative." The pundit then noted that he also listens to "The Ben Shapiro Show" because he wants to "hear his take on Israel."

Rounding out some of his other streaming suggestions were "Piers Morgan Uncensored," which Lemon labeled "very real, authentic conversations you don’t get in corporate media," and "The Adam Friedland Show."

"Smart, irreverent, funny; download the Chet Hanks episode for evidence," Lemon said of the podcast.

Friedland is a stand-up comedian who hosts other comics, celebrities, and, in Lemon's recommended episode, Chet Hanks. The sometimes forgotten and controversial son of Tom Hanks, Chet is an off-the-wall character who often speaks with a patois accent.

During the episode in question, Hanks stated that he believes Donald Trump is going to win the 2024 election after he heard rappers Future and Lil Baby were spotted with the former president.

"He's gonna win, dude," Hanks stated.

.@donlemon told Puck News he has "cut the cord" with corporate media and has been listening to conservatives such as Ben Shapiro

Lemon was fired by CNN after 17 years in April 2023 and said that he didn't even receive a call from management.

"I was informed [that] morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN,” Lemon said, according to SCNR. "I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly," he continued.

"At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play," Lemon added.

Other special guests for the holiday guide included actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who recommended a cardigan she was seen wearing during a recent court case.

Patrick Bet-David says THIS is what woke him up to the reality of politics

Patrick Bet-David is the picture of success.

An Army veteran, entrepreneur, and creator of the insanely popular YouTube channel “Valuetainment,” Bet-David has done it all.

Though the content he produces isn’t quite political, Dave Rubin is curious. “Do you consider yourself a political person?” Rubin asks Bet-David.

Bet-David explains that he was raised by two extremely political and extremely different people. His mother came from a family of communists, while his father came from a family of imperialists. They divorced, remarried each other, and then divorced again.

“I didn’t like politics ‘cause I saw the fact that the two people I love the most got a divorce because of politics,” he explains. “I mean, one of them, their philosophy was 'rich people are greedy and all they care about is money,' and the other one was 'poor people are lazy.'"

Because of that, Bet-David didn’t care for politics until he started working himself. Bet-David started out with a small insurance company that grew into a massive operation, and that’s when he realized politics were actually incredibly important to him.

“I went into financial services and started competing, and then I realized politics is involved in insurance, department of insurance; politics is involved in being a cop, being a firefighter, running good business, regulation, [the] financial industry, SEC, NASD — it’s involved everywhere,” he tells Rubin.

“You were kind of right-leaning in that you were probably for small government, less regulation, less taxes,” Rubin says. “Then COVID hits and that’s what basically drove us both here.”

Bet-David confirms, adding, “I have a problem with bullies.”

“Here’s what’s going on today,” he continues. “Believe it or not, the majority will forgive people lying to them, the government lying to them. They’ll get over it. They’ll cry about it, but they’ll get over it. The majority will even tolerate being taken advantage of.”

However, he believes the government has crossed the line when it comes to kids, and parents are not going to take it lying down.

“You just woke up an animal,” he says.
