Are Democrats DONE with Joe Biden? | Glenn Beck and Piers Morgan debate

In the wake of his disastrous debate against Donald Trump, faith in Joe Biden has waned dramatically, as the nation had a front-row seat to witness the president’s undeniable cognitive decline.

Major Democratic donors have pulled funds, liberal politicians have renounced support, and even the media has begun to denounce a second term for President Biden.

Is it safe to say Democrats have officially lost hope in Joe?

Glenn Beck and Piers Morgan met to discuss this very question.

Are Democrats DONE with Biden? | Glenn Beck & Piers Morgan Debatewww.youtube.com

Currently, the nation is holding its breath waiting for the announcement that Biden has dropped out of the race. Many say it’s only a matter of time before he’s replaced.

But with whom? And what happens to all the funds the Biden campaign has raised?

“If Joe Biden does decide, as the New York Times is intimating, to step aside … then all the money that he's raised,” which amounts to “hundreds of millions of dollars, can only go to Kamala Harris; it can't go to any other candidate,” says Piers.

“Does [Biden’s replacement] have to be Kamala simply because of where the money is?” he asks Glenn.

“The money isn't the only thing,” says Glenn. “Kamala Harris was brought onto the ticket in this madness of equity.”

According to “the progressive side, you cannot replace her. She's a black woman – the first black woman vice president. Now you have the opportunity, you're going to replace her with a white man?” he asks, referencing the suspicion that California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) might be chosen as Biden’s replacement.

“The only person they could replace her with that could win is Michelle Obama.”

However, the former first lady has made it clear she has no interest in running, but Glenn thinks if Barack presses her, she might concede, run, and actually win.

Besides Biden’s candidacy, there’s another idea being thrown around: invoking the 25th Amendment, which would temporarily pass presidential powers to Kamala Harris.

There’s only one problem – the decision must be made by “the Cabinet and the vice president,” and so far, both have refused to even acknowledge what the country sees in Biden.

“I saw yesterday the press secretary [Karine Jean-Pierre] insisting he's not got any form of dementia. I thought that was a blatant lie,” says Piers.

To hear the rest of the conversation, including Glenn's and Piers’ thoughts on the global unrest that seems to be growing ever stronger, watch the clip above.

'I'm a pregnant man': British Glamour mag features pregnant transgender cover model, author of children's book about 'The Miracle of Male Birth'

A popular British women's magazine featured a topless woman who identifies as a man on its cover, who referred to herself as a "pregnant man."

The cover model is author Logan Brown, a woman who was once a lesbian but now identifies as queer, or a "trans pregnant man." Fox News reports that in the interview with the magazine, Brown described how she suffered from "really bad mental health" issues as a child. Brown later came out as a lesbian, then decided to explore the "identity of being trans," before finally settling on the identify of queer.

Brown also described that her "accidental" pregnancy came about when she took a break from testosterone treatments due to health reasons. It was during that time that the biological woman was impregnated by her biologically male partner, Bailey Mills, a drag queen who identifies as non-binary.

Glamour magazine reporter Chloe Laws conducted the interview just two weeks before Brown gave birth, describing how the author and her boyfriend first garnered attention online through the "rampant transphobia" of people commenting on Brown's social media pages that "men can’t get pregnant."

Brown, who said she is authoring a book directed at children called "My Daddy’s Belly: The Miracle of Male Birth," told the reporter that she had "been brought up in a very close-knit family, and so to bring a baby into the world in a queer relationship is the best feeling ever."

“Living proof of what? Logan’s a biological female who got pregnant, as hundreds of millions of biological females do each year… why are you presenting this as a man getting pregnant which is biologically impossible?”
— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1685631021

The 27-year-old described that when she discovered she was pregnant, it felt like all her "manlihood" that she "worked hard for, for so long, just completely felt like it was erased."

"How do you tell your partner, ‘Oh, I’m pregnant, but oh, I’m also your boyfriend as well,’" Brown continued. The writer eventually came to accept the process and declared, "I’m a pregnant man, and we’re very lucky, and I’m proud to do what we’re doing."

Glamour's European editorial director, Deborah Joseph, reportedly said in a statement that the magazine felt Brown would be a perfect cover model for Pride Month. "When we first met Logan and heard his incredible story, we were blown away by his strength and courage. We knew he would be the perfect cover star for our June Pride issue, as a shining example of empowerment, inclusivity and equality."

"Logan and his partner Bailey bringing their beautiful baby into the world is a story of love and acceptance;" the editor continued. Joseph also prophetically added that these are "things that we are sadly often reminded that the world could use a little more of."

Piers Morgan calls the college professor who wished that Queen Elizabeth II's death would be agonizing 'a cowardly disgrace' for declining to accept his interview request

Piers Morgan called Carnegie Mellon University associate professor of second language acquisition Uju Anya a "vile disgusting moron" earlier this month after Anya declared on social media that she wished Queen Elizabeth II's death would be "excruciating" — and now more recently, Morgan has decried Anya as "a cowardly disgrace" for declining an interview request.

"Piers Morgan calling me 'vile, disgusting moron' while his producer calling me for interview. Tufiakwa," Anya tweeted on Wednesday.

"I definitely want to interview you. I'd like you to try repeating to my face that you hoped the Queen died in 'excruciating pain.' But I suspect like most vile 'woke' trolls, you won't have the guts. Do you?" Morgan responded in a tweet on Thursday.

“I definitely want to interview you. I'd like you to try repeating to my face that you hoped the Queen died in 'excruciating pain.' But I suspect like most vile 'woke' trolls, you won't have the guts. Do you?”
— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1663240091

"No, Piers," Anya replied with the eye-rolling emoji. "You want to interview me, because your career died in excruciating pain, and you need the ratings. But I won’t let you chase clout off me. Like I said, I no dey put food for my enemy mouth."

"So like I thought, you don’t have the guts to repeat your disgusting slurs about the Queen to someone who would hold you to account for them. You’re not just a disgrace but a cowardly disgrace," Morgan fired back.

“So like I thought, you don’t have the guts to repeat your disgusting slurs about the Queen to someone who would hold you to account for them. You’re not just a disgrace but a cowardly disgrace.”
— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1663266474

In a tweet earlier this month, Anya declared, "I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating." In another post she wrote, "That wretched woman and her bloodthirsty throne have f***** generations of my ancestors on both sides of the family, and she supervised a government that sponsored the genocide my parents and siblings survived. May she die in agony." Both posts were apparently removed by Twitter for violating the platform's rules.

The queen, who was the longest-reigning monarch in British history, passed away at the age of 96 after more than 70 years on the throne.

In another tweet Anya declared, "If anyone expects me to express anything but disdain for the monarch who supervised a government that sponsored the genocide that massacred and displaced half my family and the consequences of which those alive today are still trying to overcome, you can keep wishing upon a star."

Carnegie Mellon University had issued a statement responding to Anya's shocking social media remarks: "We do not condone the offensive and objectionable messages posted by Uju Anya today on her personal social media account," the school declared in the statement. "Free expression is core to the mission of higher education, however, the views she shared absolutely do not represent the values of the institution, nor the standards of discourse we seek to foster."

Left-wing academic violates Twitter rules by wishing Queen Elizabeth II an 'excruciating' death

As the world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, a self-described feminist university professor was roundly condemned for wishing the queen an "excruciating" death.

"I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating," Carnegie Mellon University linguistics professor Dr. Uju Anya wrote on Twitter Thursday morning after news broke that doctors were concerned for the queen's health. Her tweet has since been taken down for violating Twitter rules.

But Anya's sentiments were shared by a handful of other left-wing academics and media personalities, who called the queen a "colonizer" and expressed disdain for the British empire.

"Real question for the 'now is not the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism' crowd: When is the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism?" Washington Post national political reporter Eugene Scott tweeted.

"I will not mourn a colonizer," wrote Aabria Iyengar, a tabletop role-playing game streamer who has appeared as a guest on the popular Critical Role show.

Ebony Elizabeth Thomas, an associate professor at the University of Michigan, defended criticisms of the queen upon her death.

However, many others swiftly condemned Anya and came to the defense of the queen and her legacy.

“This is someone supposedly working to make the world better?” billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos wrote, quoting Anya's tweet. "I don't think so. Wow."

Anya posted a follow-up message at 1:51 p.m. ET after Buckingham Palace announced that Queen Elizabeth II had passed.

Christian teacher imprisoned in Ireland after refusing to use transgender student's preferred pronouns

A Christian teacher in Ireland who refused to use the preferred pronouns of a transgender student has been suspended and is now in jail for contempt of court.

Enoch Burke was arrested on Monday for violating a court order to neither teach nor be physically present at Wilson's Hospital School in Multyfarnham, County Westmeath, Ireland. The Church of Ireland-affiliated boarding school sought to have Burke imprisoned after he continued to attend the school after receiving a court order barring him from doing so, the Daily Mail reports.

"It is insanity that I will be led from this courtroom to a place of incarceration, but I will not give up my Christian beliefs," Burke said after Judge Michael Quinn found him in contempt of court.

The trouble for Burke started when he refused to address a transgender student by the pronoun "they" rather than "he," as requested by the student and the student's parents in May. The school agreed to the request.

But Burke, a Christian, was placed on suspension after he refused to address the student with gender-neutral pronouns.

"I am a teacher and I don't want to go to prison. I want to be in my classroom today, that's where I was this morning when I was arrested," Burke told the judge Monday, according to the Daily Mail.

He explained that he loves teaching students German, history, and politics and encouraging debate.

"Transgenderism is against my Christian belief. It is contrary to the scriptures, contrary to the ethos of the Church of Ireland and of my school," Burke said.

"'It is extraordinary and reprehensible that someone's religious beliefs on this matter could ever be taken as grounds for an allegation of misconduct," he added, referring to his suspension.

"My religious beliefs are not misconduct. They are not gross misconduct. They never will be. They are dear to me. I will never deny them and never betray them, and I will never bow to an order that would require me to do so. It is just not possible for me to do that," he continued.

Burke described the school's actions as "unreasonable, unjust, and unfair."

A lawyer for Wilson's Hospital School's board of management reportedly said it was with a "heavy heart" that the administration suspended Burke and sought to have him imprisoned, but that his actions gave them no other choice.

"It is a coercive order we are seeking, not a punitive order. We are simply seeking to have Mr Burke comply with the order," the counsel said.

"Mr Burke is knowingly in breach of this order, he is therefore in contempt and he has made it clear that if he is not committed to prison he will attend at the school [today], and the concerns of the school regarding the ongoing disruption to the students remain," she added.

According to the Daily Mail, the school's counsel noted that Burke could make his arguments about religious liberty at court on Tuesday, when the injunction issued last week will be reviewed, and also at the school's disciplinary hearing later this month.

Judge Quinn reportedly said his ruling was not based on the merits of Burke's argument, but rather on whether he had willfully violated the court order.

He added that Burke could purge his contempt at any point by agreeing not to attend his school or attempt to teach there.

English broadcaster Piers Morgan called Burke's imprisonment a "ridiculous farce."

"Jailed for not wanting to call a singular person ‘they’ - what a ridiculous farce. How can anyone believe this is right in a supposedly free, democratic society?" Morgan tweeted.

He added that while he doesn't agree with the teacher's views, "for him to be jailed is … outrageous."

Comedian Kathy Griffin calls Elon Musk a 'white supremacist'

Comedian Kathy Griffin called business magnate Elon Musk a "white supremacist" in a tweet on Monday.

While attacking Musk, Griffin also took a swipe at media figure Piers Morgan who fired back, referencing Griffin's controversial decision years ago to pose with an object that looked like the bloodied head of then-President Donald Trump.

"Think of the damage Zuckerberg has done. Musk is a Piers Morgan level media thirsty, vindictive, white supremacist who is looking to convince you he is an innovative disruptor," Griffin declared.

"I don't think @elonmusk should take vindictive lectures from someone who gleefully posed with a mocked-up model of a US President’s severed head, then played the pitiful victim card to get herself out of any accountability for such a vile stunt," Morgan responded.

Musk has reached a deal to buy Twitter and plans to make the platform a place where people can engage in free speech.

"The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all," Musk tweeted on Tuesday.

"That was quick," Griffin tweeted in response to Musk's post.

Musk later added, "By 'free speech', I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people."

Shaun King has said Musk's desire to buy the company is "about white power."

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts claimed that the "deal is dangerous for our democracy."

"Let us be clear: It isn’t free speech Elon Musk is defending. It is truly free speech he fears — a society in which the chance to be heard is abundant and free and equitably distributed," Anand Giridharadas tweeted on Tuesday.

Howard Dean, a former Vermont governor and former chair of the Democratic National Convention, tweeted on Monday that "If Musk takes over Twitter I will be off within a few hours."

Dean's account "no longer exists," according to the platform.

Twitter announced on Monday that the company "entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an entity wholly owned by Elon Musk, for $54.20 per share in cash in a transaction valued at approximately $44 billion. Upon completion of the transaction, Twitter will become a privately held company."

Media explode over promotional video for Piers Morgan interview with Trump. Then Trump releases proof it was deceptively edited.

Piers Morgan generated controversy Wednesday after publishing a promotional video for a recently recorded interview with Donald Trump that appeared to show the former president storming out of the interview.

However, Trump released audio showing that the promotional video for the interview was deceptively edited.

What happened?

Morgan interviewed Trump for his new show "Piers Morgan Uncensored." The interview is set to air next Monday.

Calling the interview the "most explosive" of the year, the promotional video stitched together various cuts from the interview that framed Trump as unhinged when Morgan challenged his claims about the 2020 election.

"Morgan vs. Trump," the narrator declares as the video shows Trump standing up from his chair and telling producers to "turn the camera off" while huffing, "Very dishonest." The montage included close-ups of Trump's sweaty face and dramatic background music.

****BREAKING NEWS****
pic.twitter.com/WdJnPJyMwG
— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1650484834

But what really happened?

The video predictably spread like wildfire because it seemingly confirmed the media's caricature of Trump.

However, Morgan and his production crew were not the only people who recorded in the interview. In fact, Trump's team saved an audio recording of the interview in its entirety, which paints a much different picture from the one presented by Morgan.

According to NBC News, the interview ended cordially (friendly, even). Morgan said, "That was a great interview," a comment Trump affirmed. Morgan then said, "Thank you very much. I really appreciate it."

Only after Morgan's concluding remark of gratitude did Trump say, "Turn the camera off."

Meanwhile, Trump's remark that Morgan was being "very dishonest" was related to his refusal to honor the time that Trump agreed to for the interview. Trump communications director Taylor Budowich told NBC News the interview was expected to last just 20 minutes — but Morgan asked questions for more than one hour.

Trump released a statement late Wednesday blasting Morgan.

"Piers Morgan, like the rest of the Fake News Media, attempted to unlawfully and deceptively edit his long and tedious interview with me. He wanted to make it look like I walked out on the interview when my time limit of 20 minutes went over by an hour," Trump said.

The former president added, "[Morgan] went out of his way to deceptively edit an interview and got caught."

Morgan responded to Trump's statement early Thursday morning by ignoring the fact that his promotional video was deceptively edited.

"Morning, Mr President! It was a great interview, thanks for all your time. Sorry you got so annoyed that I don’t believe the 2020 election was rigged or stolen from you, but as I said, where’s your proof? If you have it, show us — or accept the result and move on," Morgan said.

Apple introduces a pregnant man emoji — and waves of mockery on social media follow

A pregnant man emoji is coming in the latest iteration of Apple's iOS update, according to a Friday report from Fox Business.

What are the details?

A pregnant man and a pregnant person are just two new emojis coming to the Apple iPhone's iOS 15.4 update.

The report added that the emoji was released in a voluntary update on Thursday as part of a beta release and noted that the full update will come hell or high water later this year.

The Unicode Consortium, a nonprofit organization that oversees emoji standards, originally selected the designs in September, People reported.

Emojipedia, an emoji reference website, shared the designs to the internet in September when the company first announced the forthcoming pregnant man and pregnant person emojis.

At the time, the company said that the new emojis "may be used for representation by trans men, non-binary people, or women with short hair — though, of course, use of these emoji is not limited to these groups."

A spokesperson for the company added that the new emojis can also be "tongue-in-cheek way to display a food baby, a very full stomach caused by eating a large meal."

Describing the pregnant man and pregnant person emojis, Emojipedia in July wrote that the company recognizes that "pregnancy is possible for some transgender men and non-binary people" and would be "additions to the existing pregnant woman emoji."

What has been the response to this?

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) tweeted about the news, writing, "The same week the Left is begging to cancel @JoeRogan for 'misinformation,' @Apple creates a pregnant man emoji. I just can't."

Piers Morgan refuses to back down over Meghan Markle criticisms despite UK agency launching investigation

Piers Morgan said Tuesday that he will not apologize for expressing doubt about claims from Meghan Markle that she experienced suicidal thoughts after joining Britain's royal family.

Morgan's defiant response comes after the United Kingdom's regulatory agency governing telecommunications in Britain launched an investigation into "Good Morning Britain" over Morgan's comments.

How did Morgan respond?

After officially quitting "Good Morning Britain" on Tuesday after being ridiculed by his co-hosts for not believing Markle, Morgan said he will not apologize.

"On Monday, I said I didn't believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I've had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don't. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I'm happy to die on," Morgan tweeted.

"Thanks for all the love, and hate. I'm off to spend more time with my opinions," he added.

On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion,… https://t.co/tPnagFUnWp
— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan)1615356680.0

What is the background?

Morgan incited controversy on Monday while reacting to Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey, when he doubted Markle's claim that her struggles with mental health were dismissed by the royal family.

"I'm sorry, I don't believe a word she says," Morgan said Monday on "Good Morning Britain."

When a co-host expressed dismay over Morgan's reaction, he doubled down. "I wouldn't believe her if she read me a weather report, and the fact that she's fired up this onslaught against our royal family, I think is contemptible," Morgan said.

Ofcom, the U.K. media regulator, revealed Tuesday it had opened an investigation into Morgan's comments after fielding more than 40,000 complaints.

"We have launched an investigation into Monday's episode of 'Good Morning Britain' under our harm and offence rules," the agency told Variety.

Why did Morgan quit?

The TV host stormed off the stage of "Good Morning Britain" on Tuesday after his co-hosts confronted him about his opinions.

ITV, the network that hosts "Good Morning Britain," later released a statement:

Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.

Prior to leaving the show, Morgan explained that he did not believe Markle generally, but specifically her claim that members of the royal family dismissed her mental health struggles because of negative optics.

Morgan clarified that he was not dismissing mental health struggles altogether.

"When we talked about this yesterday, I said, as an all-encompassing thing, I don't believe what Meghan Markle is saying generally in this interview and I still have serious concerns about the veracity of a lot of what she said," Morgan said.

"But let me just state for the record on my position on mental illness and on suicide. These are clearly extremely serious things and should be taken extremely seriously and if someone is feeling that way they should get the treatment and the help they need every time," he continued. "And if they belong to an institution like the royal family and they go and seek that help they should absolutely be given it."

"It's not for me to question if she felt suicidal, I am not in her mind and that is for her to say," Morgan added. "My real concern was a disbelief frankly ... that she went to a senior member of the royal household and told them she was suicidal and was told she could not have any help because it would be a bad look for the family."

"If that is true a) that person should be fired and b) the royal family have serious questions that need to be answered," Morgan said.
