Wild police bodycam video shows Ohio cop getting plowed by stolen vehicle, firing shots at suspect from hood of the car

Intense bodycam video from Ohio shows the moment that a police officer was rammed by a car, flipped to the hood, and fired shots as the vehicle raced on a wild ride.

On Wednesday afternoon, Columbus police officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2015 Toyota Corolla that had been reported stolen from Lancaster, Ohio.

Police cruisers raced through a neighborhood to pull over the stolen car. The vehicle stopped at a gas station and did circles. Police gave the driver verbal commands to stop and show her hands, but she disobeyed. Police placed spike strips at the exits of the gas station.

Police bodycam video shows an officer approaching the stolen vehicle with his gun drawn. The Columbus police sergeant orders the driver to stop, but she instead puts the car in reverse.

The dramatic police bodycam footage reveals the sudden moment that the woman slams on the gas and plows into the officer. He flips to the hood of the car and fires 12 shots into the windshield and hood of the vehicle.

The sergeant managed to stay on the speeding car for a few seconds before tumbling onto the road. The runaway vehicle crashed into two cars stopped at a red light down the road.

The driver, Holly Graham, suffered a gunshot wound to both of her upper thighs and one to her lower torso.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, "As officers start to assess Graham's injuries and apply tourniquets to each of her legs, Graham asks repeatedly for her water, which she says is in the center console of the car."

Graham reportedly said, "If you're trying to help me, water is the best for it."

"I didn't (expletive) mean to hit the mother (expletive)," Graham is heard saying, according to the outlet.

The 32-year-old allegedly said, "Does anybody have an (expletive) cigarette? For real, does anybody have a cigarette?"

Graham was transported to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

WSYX confirmed, "Either late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, Graham was in custody on a warrant from 2020."

Graham was charged with felonious assault on a police officer.

The police sergeant was taken to a hospital, but was released Friday. His identity has not been released, but he has worked for for the Columbus police for 10 years.

Chilling video shows man kidnapping a 14-year-old girl in Los Angeles, suspect accused of raping teen in public restroom

Surveillance camera video shows a California man allegedly kidnapping a 14-year-old girl in a Los Angeles neighborhood. The suspect is accused of sexually assaulting the teen in a public restroom.

Chilling video shows a man walking closely with the teen girl down a street in El Sereno on Tuesday. Video recorded by a closed-circuit television camera shows the suspect with his left arm draped over the girl's shoulder and neck while they walked down Klamath Street. His right hand is near the teen's abdomen – possibly pointing a weapon at the girl.

The suspect – identified by police as 27-year-old Edward William Banks from Los Angeles – allegedly forced the 14-year-old girl into a public restroom at El Sereno Park. Banks is accused of raping the teen in the restroom.

The Los Angeles Police Department said, "The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and forced the victim into a bathroom. The suspect then proceeded to sexually assault the victim."

The suspect fled the park in an unknown direction after the alleged child sex abuse.

On Tuesday night, Banks was arrested by police less than a mile from the alleged crime scene of the sexual abuse. Local residents tipped off detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Juvenile Division after the LAPD released surveillance video of Banks to the public, according to KTLA.

Banks was charged with aggravated kidnapping to commit rape. His bail has been set at $1 million.

As of Oct. 8, there have been 1,063 rape attacks in Los Angeles in 2022, according to LAPD data. There were only 198 arrests for rape this year.

Total violent crimes are up by more than 11% since 2020.

Progressive Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón has faced criticism over his soft-on-crime governance.

On the first day of taking office in December 2020, Gascón immediately eliminated cash bail and banned prosecutors from seeking enhanced prison sentences.

There have been efforts to recall Gascón, but they have all failed. The latest recall effort in August fell short because there were not enough valid signatures to get on the ballot.

The Recall District Attorney George Gascón Committee claimed this week that valid signatures were rejected and voter rolls were inflated.

"The initial review of invalidated signatures demonstrates the Registrar’s counting process was seriously flawed, resulting in substantial errors, the wrongful invalidation of many valid signatures, and the disenfranchisement of thousands of Los Angeles County Voters," the committee said in a statement released on Monday.

Wild video shows woman ram cop cruiser to infiltrate police headquarters, officer barrel rolls out of car to fire on suspect who said the Illuminati was trying to kill her

Bizarre video shows an Arizona woman storming into the headquarters of the Mesa Police Department by ramming a cop cruiser. Bodycam video shows the police officer engaging the female driver who had stalked the cop.

This week, the Mesa Police Department released bodycam footage and video from surveillance cameras from a wild "critical incident" that happened on July 9. Police released video to the public because there was an officer-involved shooting.

Around 9 p.m., an officer was driving and noticed that a white SUV had been following him for some time. The vehicle had its hazard lights flashing. The officer was dispatched to a call, but was more concerned about the driver's intentions, so he drove back to the headquarters of the Mesa Police Department.

As he approaches the gate to the headquarters, the white SUV rams the police cruiser so it can infiltrate the gated facility.

Fearing for his safety, the officer barrel rolls out of his cop cruiser as the SUV bulldozes the car into a curb. The cop hits the pavement, rolls, and then draws his weapon and fires.

With his gun drawn, the officer scurries to take cover behind a forensics department van – where he encounters a crime scene specialist.

Bodycam video shows the woman exiting the SUV, and the officer fires several shots in her direction.

She falls to the ground and begins rolling towards the security gate. Backup officers arrive at the scene to apprehend and treat the suspect for her gunshot wound that is believed to occurred when the officer jumped out of the cruiser.

The suspect was later identified as 39-year-old Taneysha Shari Carter. She was taken to a local hospital and later released.

She was charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument (her car) and third-degree trespass.

Arizona's Family news previously reported, "Court documents said Carter told investigators she believes law enforcement, the military and a group she referred to as the Illuminati are trying to kill her. She claims she was trying to get the officer’s attention to tell him this information. Carter also said she thought the officer knew who she was."

The outlet added that Mesa Police detained Carter in 2020 for mental health reasons.

Bodycam video: Man called 911 to complain about cold fries from McDonald's. Police find out he is a murder suspect on the run. He ends up eating pavement instead of fast food.

A Georgia man called 911 to complain about getting cold fries from McDonald's on Friday. However, the man seems to have forgotten that he is a murder suspect on the run from police. Bodycam video shows the man eating pavement instead of fast food.

Antoine Sims, 24, got into an argument with the staff of the McDonald's in Kennesaw, Georgia. Sims was upset that his order was taking too long, and the fries were cold.

"So now our food is sitting there cold," he explained to the officer. "So when I come up, I try the fries. The fries are lukewarm, but they’re not hot."

The manager of the fast food restaurant reportedly offered Sims a refund, but he declined the offer because he said it would take days for the money to be returned to his bank account.

Sims and McDonald's employees both called 911 over the dispute.

"The owner said he was cursing at him and wanted him to leave and to be issued a criminal trespass warning," said Kennesaw Police officer David Buchanan.

"I don’t ever want him back here," the manager of the McDonald's manager told an officer, according to the police report. "I mean, dude’s obviously on probation (out on bond) — got an ankle bracelet on."

Police gathered his side of the story, and requested dispatch run a check on Sims through the crime database.

An officer asks Sims to sign a document vowing that he won't trespass at this McDonald's location in the future. The cop urges Sims to get closer to sign the paperwork, but he quickly backs off.

"I’m afraid of y’all. I just did three years, sir. I’m afraid of y’all, sir," Sims told police.

Sims then asked if he was under arrest, and an officer replied, "Yeah."

Sims sprinted away from the officer. Several officers chased Sims through the McDonald's parking lot and into an apartment complex.

An officer fired a taser at the fleeing man from behind. It hits him in the back, and he immediately crashes to the pavement. He lets out a high-pitch scream as heard on the bodycam video.

Officer Buchanan noted, "It's very unusual that someone, knowing he is wanted by police, would call the police, but Mr. Sims did that."

Sims was previously charged with the 2018 murder of Adelisa Murtatovic in Johns Creek. Her body was found inside a burning car after an alleged drug deal turned deadly.

There were three suspects in the murder – two turned themselves into authorities, but Sims went on the run.

In April 2019, U.S. Marshals captured Sims in Wisconsin.

Sims was charged with homicide, arson, and concealing the death of another.

Sims was currently out on bond.

The suspect was due back in court in July to enter his plea, but he never showed up. Sims had a warrant out of Fulton County for failure to appear in court.

"In addition to his outstanding warrant, Sims was charged with obstruction or hindering law enforcement and criminal trespass," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Law enforcement also found 31 grams of marijuana in his fiancée’s vehicle – as well as evidence of distribution.

Sims was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

Gripping video shows NC trooper risking his life to crash police cruiser into car of accused drunk driver: 'Most undoubtedly saved lives'

A North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper is being heralded as a hero for putting himself in danger to stop a suspected drunk driver. The brave and selfless actions of the state trooper may have saved lives.

In the early morning hours of April 8, several police officers were in pursuit of a driver accused of driving while intoxicated. North Carolina State Highway Patrol said Trooper Cody Thao joined the effort to stop an alleged drunk driver to prevent innocent people from being harmed or killed by the erratic driver.

The suspect – Joshua Ray Bibey – was speeding up an exit ramp in the wrong traffic direction. Thao was coming off the exit ramp in the correct direction. With only seconds to make a decision, Thao unselfishly and gallantly steered his police cruiser towards the oncoming vehicle. Thao's patrol car violently collided with the 26-year-old suspect's vehicle – which appears to be a pickup truck. Police dashcam video shows Thao's cruiser spin off the road after slamming into the vehicle in Wake County.

Thao intentionally drove into the DUI suspect, knowing that the driver was speeding toward the interstate exit – where other cars could have been exiting.

Bibey, of Raleigh, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired.

We're taking you through this wild video put out today by @NCSHP tonight with the trooper whose action saved lives.\nCody Thao: "All the credit goes out to the other troopers who inspire me on a daily basis especially here in Wake County" #abc11 #ncshppic.twitter.com/PRwF9TwauE

"I could not be prouder of Trp. Thao and his quick decision to stop the wrong-way driver, his actions most undoubtedly saved lives," Colonel Freddy L. Johnson, Jr. – commander of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol – said in a statement. "His willingness to put himself in harm’s way is representative of the lifesaving work our members do each day. Placing others before ourselves is not just a saying amongst the law enforcement profession, it's a reality of what we do for the betterment of the communities we serve."

Thao told WTVD, "Once I saw the vehicle, I just decided to stop the chase right there. This is what we signed up to do, this is what we agreed to do."

He added, “All the credit goes out to the other troopers who inspire me on a daily basis especially here in Wake County.”

Thao has only been with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol for less than a year.

"Before that, I actually worked at a Tractor Supply," he said. "I don’t have any prior experience with law enforcement. I’ve always had a servant’s heart, and I’ve always wanted to help people."

There was a very similar incident in March, when a Florida state trooper put herself in harm's way by purposely navigating her police cruiser into an oncoming driver who was allegedly drunk.

Dramatic video shows inmate in wheelchair wrestle gun away from correctional officer in courthouse, only to be shot by another guard

An intense video was released by the Illinois State Police showing an unpredictable situation at a courthouse that could have turned deadly at a moment's notice.

Fredrick Goss – a 55-year-old inmate – was at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, on the afternoon of Oct. 25. He was being transported to the courtroom for a jury trial. While in the sally port – the secure entryway into the courthouse – Goss put up a fight and was able to disarm the correctional officer who was escorting him.

A Jefferson County Sheriff's Office correctional officer removed the handcuffs from Goss so that he could exit the police cruiser and put himself in a wheelchair. When the officer attempted to help Goss move his legs onto the footplates of the wheelchair, the criminal lunged and snatched the officer's firearm from the holster.

Surveillance video shows a tussle ensued as both men fell to the ground. The officer attempted to regain possession of the gun, and during the struggle a round was fired. The inmate was able to spring free and then pointed the gun at the officer – who then surrendered.

Another correctional officer scurried into the sally port, quickly face-to-face with an armed inmate. The officer retreated back into a room, then reappeared with his handgun aimed at the perpetrator. The inmate fell because of his previous leg injury. Simultaneously the cop on the ground grabbed the gun from the inmate as the other officer fired on Goss. The inmate lost control of the gun and it flew to the other side of the garage.

Goss put his hands up in defeat as he winced in pain from being shot.

Goss was transported to an area hospital, then later transferred to a St. Louis-area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation launched a probe into the shooting incident, which is also under review by the Jefferson County State's Attorney Office.

In June, Goss was charged with armed robbery and aggravated discharge of a firearm in Mt. Vernon, KFVS-TV reported. Goss was suspected of a robbery of a Mt. Vernon gas station. When a police officer approached the suspect, Goss fled.

During the chase, police say gunfire was exchanged between the officer and Goss. In that confrontation, Goss was also shot. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The officer was not hurt.
