'How do you draw a pride flag?': NASA shares composite Pride flag graphic while promoting Pride Month

As various federal government entities celebrate Pride Month in June, the "NASA Sun & Space" X account shared a post that featured a Pride flag graphic composed of snippets of NASA imagery.

"How do you draw a pride flag?" the post reads. "With SCIENCE! This flag is a composite of NASA imagery of phenomena from Earth and far, far beyond it."

'There's space for everyone — all genders and orientations — in exploration and discovery.'

Other posts explain the composition of the graphic. For example, one tweet indicates that the brown section of the flag graphic is actually an image of "Swirling storms in Jupiter's North Temperate Belt" that was "Taken on 10/16/2021 by Juno's JunoCam on the spacecraft's 37th close flyby," while another post indicates that the green section shows an image of "Algal blooms on California's Clear Lake" that was "Taken 05/15/2024 by Landsat 9's Operational Land Imager-2 (OLI-2) in natural color." (See the graphic here.)

Earlier this month, the space agency trumpeted the news that a Pride flag had been hoisted at its Ames Research Center.

"For the first time, we have raised the Intersex Progress Pride Flag at a NASA center to commemorate #PrideMonth," NASA Ames tweeted.

On June 1, the main NASA X account posted, "As we mark the start of #PrideMonth, we're reflecting on how far we've come while recognizing the work still to be done. There's space for everyone — all genders and orientations — in exploration and discovery."

NASA appended a tweet that reads, "The diversity of our NASA team is what brings different perspectives to our missions, and we celebrate and share their stories. To protect our people from personal attacks, we have decided to limit comments on this post."

'New ways of solving problems': NASA promotes men dressed as women as part of 'diverse and inclusive teams'

The government space agency is promoting transgender and nonbinary individuals, including men posing as women, as part of its Pride Month celebration of diverse teams.

NASA posted a video in support of Pride Month to promote "self-affirmation, dignity," and equal rights, the space program said, while adding that it wanted to create awareness of diversity and gender variance.

Despite the fact that the video was originally published in 2022, NASA had no issues with repurposing it for its 2024 push for sexuality- and gender-based hiring.

In the video, Rebekah Reed, associate director of exploration, integration and science directorate, stressed the idea that children need to be able to relate to "diverse" NASA employees. This includes gay, transgender, and allegedly nonbinary workers that were shown in the video.

"Every person, every kid, if they can see themselves in the astronauts that we send out in space, but also in the teams that make that possible, then we're doing our job," she claimed.

"We're doing incredibly difficult and complicated things," she continued. "We want people that look at things from a different perspective, that can bring us new ways of solving problems, and diverse and inclusive teams do that."

Also appearing in the video was a man named Amy Lendian, a protective systems engineer.

Lendian said that if someone is in the closet, seeing people like himself doing their jobs and being effective is "the biggest encouragement" he can give. He added that being a man who believes he is a woman, while working at NASA, shows that he can successfully complete his job while being his "true self."

"They accept me 100%. All together working on this."

'For the first time, we have raised the Intersex Progress Pride Flag at a NASA.'

On a multimedia page dedicated to Pride, Lendian made further remarks about being transgender, noting that he has worked on the Artemis moon project.

"So here I am, a transgender woman, an engineer, working at Kennedy Space Center, and I get to work around these really smart, wonderful people, supporting the Artemis mission," he said.

Harel Dor, a robotic systems engineer, also appeared in the Pride video. He spoke about the importance of using his plural pronouns because he is "nonbinary."

Dor shared a story about participating in a "candidate lunch," where he met someone who also uses the same irregular pronouns.
The video showed a photo of Dor dressed in women's clothes while he recalled that it "felt really nice to see someone else in the room using those pronouns."

"I made sure to introduce myself with my pronouns so that they could know you're not the only one here," he added.

Days after promoting the video, NASA's Ames Research Center announced that it decided to fly the "intersex progress" flag at the government facility. The flag promotes transgenderism, as well as racial politics.

"For the first time, we have raised the Intersex Progress Pride Flag at a NASA center to commemorate #PrideMonth," the government entity wrote on X.

NASA also claimed that there are still "obstacles in achieving full acceptance and protections for the LGBTQ+ community" but noted that they will continue to "rise" together to achieve their goals at NASA.

The space agency then said that there had been "significant contributions of LGBTQ+ employees" and that it recognizes their contributions to "advance NASA's priorities."

'Let's raise awareness by asking: can men get ovarian cancer?': Ovarian Cancer Action gets hammered on X for ridiculous post

Ovarian Cancer Action earned a wave of backlash on X for a post that asked, "Did you know that anyone with ovaries, regardless of gender identity, can be at risk for ovarian cancer?" The post then added, "Let's raise awareness by asking: can men get ovarian cancer?"

The bizarre post included a rainbow Pride flag emoji as well as a "#PrideMonth" hashtag.

'Thank you for raising awareness of your idiocy.'

People responded by pointing out the obvious: Men don't have ovaries.

"No. Men cannot get ovarian cancer. Asked and answered. Next," Paula Scanlan tweeted.

"What the hell are you talking about? Only WOMEN have ovaries, and if you think men do too then you should be nowhere near public health," Piers Morgan declared.

"What the actual hell is this tweet. If you're wondering why trust in the medical establishment is at a low here is yet another example of many," Katie Pavlich wrote.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon responded to the post by tweeting, "Thank you for raising awareness of your idiocy."

"This is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. How dare you trivialize women's health just to satiate fantasy self-perception. You are garbage people," Dana Loesch wrote.

"Who knew!?? Thinking you're a man even though you’re a woman with ovaries does not mean you can’t get ovarian cancer. What a shocking revelation. I'm floored," Jennifer Sey wrote.

While the radical leftist gender ideology-steeped tweet did not use the word "women," the Ovarian Cancer Action website does actually use the word when discussing the issue.

"Our scientists at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre are working tirelessly to find effective ways to detect, diagnose and treat ovarian cancer. Until we see those breakthroughs, knowledge is power. From knowing whether you're at risk, to understanding the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, we want all women to feel empowered," the site states.

FBI, DHS, US Navy, and TSA celebrate Pride Month

As government entities and corporations celebrate the LGBT movement in June by recognizing so-called Pride Month, the FBI and other government entities have joined the chorus.

"At the #FBI, we know that diversity makes us stronger. During #PrideMonth, the FBI celebrates our #LGBTQIA+ colleagues’ contributions to our country and our mission," an FBI post on X declares.

'This Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ Service members for their contributions to our national security.'

While Blaze News has previously noted that the Defense Department posted about Pride Month, the Navy has shared a post that reads, "Charting a course for equality. Celebrate with the #USNavy this #PrideMonth!"

The Air Force and Space Force both retweeted a post from Defense Sec. Lloyd Austin's that reads, "This Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ Service members for their contributions to our national security. As Secretary of Defense, I remain dedicated to making sure that our LGBTQ personnel across the Joint Force can continue to serve with dignity and respect. We applaud your service – and thank your spouses and families who help make that service possible."

The Transportation Security Administration hoisted what appears to be a progress Pride flag outside of its headquarters.

"Each #PrideMonth, we have the incredible opportunity to honor & celebrate our LGBTQI+ workforce. Today, Deputy Administrator Canevari & TSA Pride raised the pride flag outside of @TSA HQ to show our support for & solidarity with this community. Our diversity makes us stronger," TSA Administrator David Pekoske tweeted.

The Department of Homeland Security also posted about Pride Month: "June marks Pride Month, a time to celebrate the many contributions of our LGBTQIA+ workforce and stand with the community – our community – throughout the month and every day. #WeAreDHS #Pride2024"

LGBTQ Pride Month posts from Sesame Street, National Weather Service, Defense Department ignite uproar: 'I DON'T want this s**t!'

LGBTQ Pride Month kicked off on Saturday. To celebrate the entire month dedicated to the members of the LGBTQ community, organizations and brands shared LGBTQ Pride posts on social media. There were several controversial social media posts that struck a nerve, including ones by government agencies and Sesame Street.

Sesame Street

— (@)

The official Sesame Street social media account posted: "Happy #PrideMonth from Sesame Street! Today and every day, we celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ members of our community. Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and welcomed for who they are."

There were hundreds of responses countering the Sesame Street account promoting LGBTQ to small children.

Novelist Frank J. Fleming: "Perhaps I’m old-fashioned, but I’m not really sure preschoolers need to know and celebrate variant sexual lusts."

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon: "The target audience for Sesame Street is children between the ages of 2 and 5."

Department of Defense

— (@)

The Department of Defense wrote: "Pride Month is a time to come together to honor the contributions of LGBTQ+ service members. We are committed to ensuring and promoting an atmosphere of dignity and respect for all civilian and military personnel."

U.S. Air Force veteran Buzz Patterson: "I want you mfer’s to be the military again. I want the best generals (we don’t have them) and a joint force that fights with lethality. I DON’T want this s**t! I’ve earned the right to say that. Focus!"

An X user: "Two major wars going on, instability everywhere, and this is your focus."

Another user: "Your account is a disgrace to our country. Delete it."

Another X user: "You guys spend more time honoring the alphabet crew than you do honoring veterans. What a shame."

National Weather Service

— (@)

The National Weather Service stated: "Let us Reflect, Empower and Unite together this Pride Month as we celebrate the diversity of the NWS family! Their skills and perspectives allow us to meet our mission of protecting a diverse nation."

After getting slammed in the replies, the National Weather Service began hiding dozens of replies.

The weather agency said, "As a reminder, the NWS has established posting policies and reserves the right to hide postings that are inconsistent with them. It is our policy to hide any post/reply that violates the items below."

Veterans Affairs

— (@)

The official Veterans Affairs X social media account said: "This Pride Month — and every day — VA openly and proudly recognizes the more than one million LGBTQ+ Veterans that have served this nation. We thank each and every one of them — and every person who has donned the uniform — for their service and sacrifice."

Numerous commentators noted that June is Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month.

White House

— (@)

President Joe Biden's White House declared: "Happy Pride Month! This month and every month, our Administration celebrates the extraordinary courage of LGBTQI+ people and proudly stands with them in the fight for equality, justice, and inclusion."

Last June, Biden hosted the largest-ever White House LGBTQ Pride celebration in history to celebrate "America’s LGBTQ families."

On Friday, President Biden proclaimed June 2024 to be "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Pride Month."

"I call upon the people of the United States to recognize the achievements of the LGBTQI+ community, to celebrate the great diversity of the American people, and to wave their flags of pride high," Biden declared.

Biden continued, "To the entire LGBTQI+ community — and especially transgender children — please know that your President and my entire Administration have your back. We see you for who you are: made in the image of God and deserving of dignity, respect, and support."

However, Biden had a much different opinion in 2008.

Biden was asked if he supported gay marriage during the 2008 vice presidential debate and he replied, "No. Barack Obama nor I support redefining from a civil side what constitutes marriage. We do not support that."

Major game developer BioWare, founded in 1995, says 'trans people' have 'always been' a part of its worlds

Video game developer BioWare came out in support of Transgender Day of Visibility, a day declared by President Biden to support specific sexualities.

Adding to the list of developers that have injected themselves into identity politics, Canada's BioWare ensured it was not forgotten when in the diversity, equity, and inclusion realm.

Founded in 1995, the company is a subsidiary of gaming giant Electronic Arts, which acquired the company in 2007 for approximately $860 million.

Much to the surprise of some fans, BioWare declared on Transgender Day of Visibility that transgender people have actually always been a part of the company's "worlds."

"Today is #TransgenderDayOfVisibility," the company wrote on X. "Trans people have always been a part of our worlds; we're proud to support them both within our games and in real life."

Today is #TransgenderDayOfVisibility. Trans people have always been a part of our worlds; we're proud to support them both within our games and in real life.
— (@)

Despite the obvious fact that the topic was seldom spoken about for the first 20 years of the company's existence, BioWare has indeed injected itself into the conversation of obscure sexual preferences in recent years.

As That Park Place noted, BioWare began declaring its support for "trans rights" as early as June 2022, while championing DEI as a "cornerstone" for the company.

"BioWare supports trans rights, women's rights, and bodily autonomy. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are a cornerstone for our studio and games. We don't consider these human rights up for debate. Gary McKay, BioWare General Manager," the company wrote on X.

The company added that its support was "unwavering," with an aim to "provide the care, support and services for the health and well-being of our people."

Our support is unwavering for our people. We are committed to expanding our benefits for U.S. employees and their eligible dependents – our aim is to provide the care, support and services for the health and well-being of our people.
— BioWare (@bioware) June 24, 2022

Later that same year, BioWare announced it would be donating to the Trans Empowerment Project, a nonprofit that vaguely states it empowers "the Trans, Intersex, & Gender-Expansive community through action, advocacy, and resource building."

"We are proud to be part of a community that is devoted to helping everyone thrive and live their best lives," BioWare stated.

In 2023, BioWare announced it would be donating to two different sexuality-based organizations, including Trans Lifeline, a "crisis hotline" for transgender people.

"Today and every day, we celebrate and cherish our LGBTQIA+ fans, friends, family members and coworkers," the company announced.

DEI-driven companies have faced immense backlash as gamers have become increasingly aware of the sheer amount of diversity being forced into video games.

It has even drawn the ire of UFC fighters and X owner Elon Musk, who have expressed their disdain for DEI ideology. Typically, much of the backlash has been brushed off by game developers who have called consumer complaints "far right" harassment campaigns.

Gaming developers even took part in an organized scream to vent their frustration with the criticisms, which were of course whittled down by some as simply the harassment of "marginalized individuals."

See it: Interior Sec. Deb Haaland shares video featuring drag queen Pattie Gonia

Interior Sec. Deb Haaland, a member of President Joe Biden's cabinet, appeared in a video with drag queen Pattie Gonia, a self-described "professional homosexual" and "queer environmentalist."

In the video Haaland declared that she was "so excited" to be with Gonia at the Stonewall National Monument.

"To celebrate LGBT History Month, I joined outdoor advocate and climate movement icon @pattiegonia to discuss how places like @StonewallNPS help tell our country’s full and honest story," the text of Haaland's post on X declares.

"Is this a joke? The pathetic parody of women continues," tennis icon Martina Navratilova wrote in response to the government official's post.

— (@)

"This is why the world laughs at the United States now. This is what an actual cabinet secretary is tweeting. We live in clown world," Katrina Pierson opined.

Gonia has previously partnered with the National Audubon Society, appearing in a video while clad in a winged costume.

"This #PrideMonth, Audubon partnered with drag queen and intersectional environmentalist Pattie Gonia to bring you #BirdsTellUs: The Song of the Meadowlark, a message of hope for the future of our planet as we face climate change—if we choose to listen," Audubon tweeted last year.

The drag queen has also helped promote The North Face.

"For the second year in a row...@thenorthface has teamed up with... @pattiegonia (they/she)," an Instagram post declares. "Join us for the Summer of Pride and get in on this party."

"Hi, it's me Pattie Gonia, a real-life homosexual," the drag queen said in a video.

HHS produces pro-transgender propaganda video featuring Rachel Levine interviewing a trans activist

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has produced a video that features Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, a biological man who identifies as a woman, interviewing self-described singer-songwriter and transgender activist Ryan Cassata.

Proponents of radical leftist gender ideology use the phrase "gender-affirming care" to refer to measures such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender-transition surgeries. Levine claimed that the phrase is "important" but that "opponents have weaponized it." He suggested that "gender-affirming care is healthcare," as well as "mental healthcare" and "suicide prevention care."

Levine said much of the "gender-affirming care" is carried out by "outstanding" children's hospitals in the U.S.

Cassata claimed that getting "top surgery" was life-saving. "Top surgery" is a euphemism for a mastectomy.

While Cassata claims to have no regrets about the procedure, other people who have pursued gender transition measures have later voiced regrets.

"I kind of feel a little bit mutilated and like an experiment gone wrong walking through society sometimes," one individual who underwent breast removal and took testosterone said, according to the Telegraph, "I feel, like, sometimes jealous of other people, women, who are biologically female. That they still have their natural voice, their natural characteristics. And I don't anymore," she said.

Levine, who is male, has previously claimed to be the "first female four-star officer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps."

While Levine and others have been celebrating so-called Pride Month in June, HHS will apparently be celebrating for even longer as it celebrates a "Summer of Pride."

"All summer long we will be celebrating 'Summer of Pride' as HHS works to ensure a healthier future for ALL people living in the United States, during #pridemonth and beyond," HHS noted.

'Happy pride!' Elmo and Sesame Street celebrate the LGBT agenda

Sesame Street, a long-running children's show that has been enjoyed by kids for generations, is actively promoting the LGBT movement by celebrating so-called Pride Month on social media.

"On our Street, we celebrate inclusion, belonging, and freedom of authentic self-expression. Happy #PrideMonth to all the people in our neighborhoods!" the Sesame Street Twitter account tweeted while sharing a cartoon graphic featuring a Pride flag.

The post earned pushback on social media.

"Groomer Street," Libs of TikTok replied.

"Amazing that @sesamestreet thinks the sexual preferences of adults is appropriate content for 3 year olds," Mary Talley Bowden tweeted.

Sesame Street had already been promoting the LGBT agenda earlier this month.

"Today and everyday, we celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ members of our community. From our family to yours, happy #PrideMonth!" another tweet declared.

"This #PrideMonth, let's celebrate diversity and unity and spread love and acceptance. Together, we can make the world a kinder place for all," another tweet said.

The widely beloved character Elmo proclaimed "happy pride!" in a video after Ariana DeBose spoke about celebrating "LGBTQIA+ family, friends, and communities." The tweet featuring the video states, "Everyone is always welcome on Sesame Street. Let’s celebrate LGBTQIA+ people in our communities this Pride and every day! Happy #PrideMonth!"

Activision punishes 'Call of Duty' superstar player over tweet about young children being taught Pride month in school, gamers call for boycott

A superstar video game player has been punished for a tweet suggesting that Pride month shouldn't be celebrated in public schools and influencing young children. There have been calls to boycott the "Call of Duty" video game following the controversy.

Nick Kolcheff – who goes by the gamer name of "Nickmercs" – is one of the top players in "Call of Duty," the massively successful first-person shooter video game. Nickmercs is the most-watched "Call of Duty" gamer on the video game streaming platform Twitch.

Forbes said of Kolcheff, "Content revenue on his videos and livestreams, a platform exclusivity deal, and a growing list of brand sponsorships added up to $15 million for him in 2022."

Nickmercs was so influential in the "Call of Duty" community that the video game's publisher, Activision, awarded the gamer with his own in-game operator skin. This was the first time that "Call of Duty" had featured a skin honoring a professional video game player.

However, Kolcheff's operator skin was removed from the "Call of Duty" store this week after the gamer tweeted about leaving "little children alone" in regard to Pride month.

On Wednesday, Kolcheff responded to a tweet about the clash between protesters outside a Los Angeles County school district building, where board members were voting to determine if schools would recognize June as Pride month. There were demonstrators calling for educators to "Leave our kids alone," in response to pushing an LGBTQ agenda in schools. Despite the protest, the school board unanimously voted to recognize June as Pride month.

Video shows the protest erupting into violence outside the Glendale Unified School District headquarters. Three people were arrested.

Esports broadcaster Chris Puckett posted video of the school board melee on Twitter. Nickmercs responded to the tweet, "They should leave little children alone. That’s the real issue."

The tweet was liked nearly 75,000 times.

“@MLGPuckett They should leave little children alone. That’s the real issue.”
— Puckett ✈️ #CDL2023 (@Puckett ✈️ #CDL2023) 1686153086

The next day, the official "Call of Duty" Twitter account announced that Kolcheff's skin had been removed.

The tweet read, "Due to recent events, we have removed the 'NICKMERCS Operator' bundle from the Modern Warfare II and Warzone store. We are focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and our community."

"I didn’t mean to upset anybody, I know that I did. I’m not apologizing about the tweet, because I don't feel like it's wrong. I’m going to stand by what I said, I’m not going to delete the tweet I just want to make sure everyone understands the point I was trying to make by tweeting my response," Kolcheff said, according to Fox News.

Forbes added, "He alleges the point he was trying to make was about how parents should talk to their children about those issues rather than teachers talking about it in a classroom, sparking debates about existing SexEd classes in schools."

Kolcheff wrote on Twitter, "Friends are created in good times, but families are built through adversity. Appreciate all of you that have my back, understand my position as a new father & recognize the love I have for all. Ain’t no hate in this heart."

There have been calls for a "Call of Duty" boycott by hundreds of video game players.

Another top "Call of Duty" gamer, who goes by the name "Dr. Disrespect," called the decision "pathetic." He also demanded that Nickmercs' bundle be reinstated and that Activision apologize to Kolcheff. Dr. Disrespect vowed not to play "Call of Duty" until those actions were taken.

Activision has been vocal about celebrating Pride month. The official Twitter account for the video game company has only made two posts this month – one about Pride month and the other about having a float in the Los Angeles Pride Parade.

The Activision Blizzard, Inc. website touts the company's 2022 environmental, social, and governance report, "We are excited to share key highlights of our ESG efforts across this website."

Activision offers several "Employee Network Groups" to "provide safe spaces for connection, growth, learning, and leadership," which are "an important force behind our company’s DE&I progress."

Activision offers network groups for employees who are Asian Pacific Islanders, black, "LatinX," LGBT, indigenous and aboriginal, women, and veterans.
