Trump’s culture war offensive won the election

Donald Trump has made an impressive political career of proving the D.C. consultant class wrong. In 2016, he won the presidency by running a campaign nearly the opposite of what the infamous RNC “autopsy” report had prescribed four years earlier. In 2020, he came just 42,000 votes short of winning again, despite facing unprecedented obstacles from a global pandemic and its aftermath.

And now, Trump has once again shown his instincts are far better than those who claim to be “professionals.” In an election where most pundits were urging Republicans to hyper-focus on standard issues such as the economy and immigration, Trump instead went on offense on one of Democrats’ greatest vulnerabilities: their far-left stance on transgender issues. That decision has propelled him back to the White House.

If you don’t trust the polling, then you should at least trust the results.

In the final few weeks, exposing Kamala Harris’ transgender radicalism became the closing message of the Trump campaign. According to AdImpact, Republicans spent at least $215 million total on ads highlighting the radical consequences of the Harris-Walz agenda: male athletes in women’s sports, sex-change surgeries and puberty blockers for minor children, ideological indoctrination in public schools, and, most visibly, taxpayer-funded sex-change operations for prisoners and illegal immigrants. One reportsuggests Trump focused his ads more on these issues than on the economy, housing, and immigration combined.

This strategy flew directly in the face of conventional wisdom. In the run-up to the election, politicos from both parties argued that the transgender issue only catered to the GOP base and wouldn’t resonate with the wider electorate. Yet outside their D.C. bubble, the issue was indeed resonating. For anyone with a pulse on the average American voter, this shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

For years, polling has shown that Democrats’ transgender stances are extremely unpopular. For example, a 2023 NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found voters opposed to allowing minors to receive “gender transition-related health care” by 37 points, even if a parent or guardian consents. A Yahoo News survey this month showed Americans believe that the left’s gender-ideology agenda has gone too far by a 24-point margin. And a YouGov poll found voters in swing states agree with the Republican position on gender and bathrooms by margins of 16 points or more.

Such lopsided numbers aren’t just driven by Republican respondents, either. Large numbers of independents, young people, suburban women, black voters, and Latinos all side with conservatives on these issues.

But if you don’t trust the polling, then you should at least trust the results. The first general election cycle focused this heavily and forthrightly on transgender issues was in 2021. There, the transgender debate helped propel Gov. Glenn Youngkin in the final weeks to his shocking upset in Virginia. Meanwhile around the country, dozens of states were beginning to pass laws to prohibit males in girls’ sports and restrict gender transition procedures for minors. When South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) decided to veto a transgender sports bill early in the year, a massive backlash followed. To Noem’s credit, she changed course and signed a similar bill in the following legislative session.

In 2022, opposition to the transgender agenda continued to gain momentum. Yet more states took action, including in Texas, where Gov. Greg Abbott declared gender transitioning children to be child abuse. In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis won a resounding re-election after a first term defined in large part by his embrace of cultural conservatism. This set him apart from many other GOP candidates nationwide, most of whom barely used gender issues in ads — to their detriment. In a midterm where Republicans largely underperformed, failing to take advantage of one of the Democrats’ biggest vulnerabilities turned out to be a significant mistake.

Of course, that was not the case this year. Beyond Trump’s own campaign, numerous other candidates went on offense on gender issues, spending hundreds of millions of dollars in Senate and House races nationwide. This was a smart strategy, not only to energize the Republican base but also to appeal to persuadable voters. According to data collected by my organization’s political arm, American Principles Project PAC, our own ads on transgender issues we have run in campaigns since 2019 have consistently moved tens of thousands of swing voters from Democratic to GOP candidates.

In this year’s election, one can also trace the potential effect these ads had through polling. For example, in Ohio’s U.S. Senate race, the Senate Leadership Fund began running ads highlighting Democrat Sherrod Brown’s record on transgender issues in early September. Around the same time, Republican Bernie Moreno began to rise in the polls, eventually pulling even with Brown after trailing by six points when the ads first started, according to the FiveThirtyEight average. Similar movement can be seen in many other races where such ads were aired.

In short, there can be little doubt that Republicans’ culture war offensive was a decisive element of their victory. And with Democrats now on the back foot, the GOP should press its advantage. Force Democrats to take votes in Congress on keeping men out of women’s sports and protecting kids from dangerous transgender medical procedures. Take executive action on these issues and dare Democratic leaders in blue states to sue. As long as the left continues to stick to these unpopular positions, they will continue to be a liability for them.

Twice now, Donald Trump has bucked D.C. elites and been rewarded for doing so. Perhaps it’s time for those elites to finally start taking notes.

Classic game RuneScape removes gender options, replaces them with pronouns and 'body types'

A massively popular computer game has sparked confusion and outrage after it spontaneously added pronouns while removing gender options at the same time.

The game Old School RuneScape was launched in 2013 and was meant to maintain the 2007 version of the game. It is heralded as a classic by gaming fans and costs about $80 annually to play.

Peaking at 205,000 concurrent players as recently as November 2023, fans have rejoiced over how developers seek their opinion through polls then modify the game accordingly.

That is until recently when developers decided remove the option to choose male or female when creating a character in the game, and replaced it with "Body type A" and "Body type B."

'Body type A and body type B? Have you been living under a rock for the past decade?'

Furthermore, developers decided to add in pronoun selections, providing the options "He/him," "They/them," and "She/her."

"We didn’t vote on this!" a user said to the game's moderators on X. "I play RuneScape to escape from this bulls**t not to be forced to see it! This WILL cost you players... I'm debating on canceling my membership."

A moderator, who goes by the name Mod Ash and has over 140,000 followers on X, responded to the user and said he didn't expect players to see the text so often.

"Thanks for letting me know you no longer wish to play due to players having that text option. All the best with your future gaming," he added with a smiley face.

I wouldn't have expected you to see it very often unless you're switching up at the Makeover Mage really regularly, but thanks for letting me know you no longer wish to play due to players having that text option. All the best with your future gaming :)

'You poll this but not pronouns?'

Just hours before that moderator's response, a fan actually predicted that concerns about the change would be shrugged off by the RuneScape team:

"Body type A and body type B? Have you been living under a rock for the past decade? Gamers don't want this garbage," the irate user wrote. "Well I'm done: 18 years a player but I'm done," they continued.

"You're gonna say 'good riddance, no one forces you to play you fascist bigot.' but guess what: I don't think I'll be the only one. Good luck with this 'new and inclusive' direction you're going in."

More fans took issue with the fact that the inclusion of pronouns and removal of gender was not a topic that developers polled their customers about. This move by the game creators proved to be even more puzzling due to the fact that other polls are conducted for the most miniscule of details.

"You poll this but not pronouns?" one fan asked, attaching an image of a poll that asked ""Should the green pixel be removed from the Construction skill icon?"

Over 50,000 gamers responded to that particular pool showcasing just how responsive the fanbase is.

Another user who has an account that is over 8,200 days old (22 years) noted that he didn't think he would be renewing his membership due to the recent controversy.

"I'd been thinking about renewing my membership and playing OSRS again after taking a break for a year or so. I don't think I will be doing that any time soon."

Production company Jagex has a history of activism that has caused blowback in the past.

In 2017, a Pride update was widely mocked for its use of rainbows and has since become an infamous event in the game's history.

At the time, developers asked users in a poll whether they wanted a "gay pride event." Users overwhelmingly rejected the idea with 66% of the respondents saying "no." Over 20,000 people participated in that poll.

On its website, Jagex also gives an annual "gender pay gap report" that touts "the importance of a diverse workforce" and complains about the lack of "industry-wide female representation."

However, in its latest report, the company was only able to lower its own pay disparity by 0.1%.

The website reads, "In the report issued for 2022-2023, our expectations that our gender pay gap would decrease were met with a reduction in our Gender Pay Gap from 25.9% to 25.8%."

NBA legend Dwyane Wade roasted for repeating joke about LeBron James during Olympics broadcast: 'His pronouns are he/him!'

NBA champion and former player Dwyane Wade was widely mocked for using the same joke for Team USA star LeBron James multiple times in the same game during an Olympics basketball broadcast.

The former Miami Heat guard was roasted online after he consistently referred to James using the pronouns "he/him" during Team USA's game against Serbia on Sunday.

"Y'all know his pronouns – he/him!" Wade said in the first half.

One of the most circulated clips from the second half showed James finish a layup in front of the raucous crowd, after which Wade said, "America, you know him as LeBron James. I know him personally. His pronouns are he/him."

"Dwyane Wade needs to chill. Just dropped his 3rd 'he/him' pronoun line of the game after this LeBron bucket," sports writer Frank Michael Smith wrote on X.

But Wade was not done. After the game, he took to his X account to attempt the joke again.

"Y’all know the pronouns: HE/HIM," Wade wrote.

Hilariously, that was the final straw for fans after what seemingly was the fourth time Wade used the joke that day.

"Never commentate again," one observer replied.

"Dwyane wade using the he him joke twice [in the] same quarter is crazy," said actor O'Shea Jackson, the son of rapper Ice Cube.

"It was an L the first 5x you said it," another fan remarked.

Even the social media manager for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies mocked Wade's commentary, saying he was "spamming" the joke.

Former NFL wide receiver and controversial commentator Antonio Brown chimed in and pointed to the fact that Wade has a transgender son.

— (@)

"Now do your son[']s pronouns," Brown wrote.

Wade has a 16-year-old son named Zaya, whom he and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, treat as if he is a girl.

Wade has said he is "so very proud of the daughter [he's] had the opportunity to raise," which would seem to make his LeBron James pronoun joke more personal.

"She has been my biggest educator and inspiration of what it means to be true to you," Wade said of the boy. "That's why it's so important to create a collaborative space for the community to participate in the conversation and express themselves freely."

The child reportedly transitioned at the age of 12.

Soon Wade and his child launched a website for transgender youth called Translatable.

The site is self-described as a "safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth to express themselves and is a resource hub for their parents, families, and support systems."

"Translatable aims to serve as a community safe space for youth to express themselves through a number of creative outlets," Zaya said in a launch video. "Here at Translatable, we focus on communities of color, center the most marginalized, and emphasize the importance of parents and family."

As Blaze News reported in April 2023, Wade revealed that he moved his family out of Florida over the state's LBGTQ laws, noting that his family would not feel comfortable there.

Father SAVES son from ‘genderless’ mother FORCING him into 'nonbinary' future

When Harrison Tinsley first became a father, he had no idea he was about to be embroiled in a four-and-a-half-year legal battle with the child’s “genderless” mother — who was attempting to raise his son “nonbinary.”

Tinsley was forced to watch from afar as his ex-girlfriend used they/them pronouns for their son, Sawyer, and put him in dresses and makeup.

“Spending so much time and money in court isn’t fun, but he’s worth it,” Tinsley told Allie Beth Stuckey in an interview last year on “Relatable.” “I’m never going to give up, I’m going to fight for him until my last breath, forever. As hard as I can. It’s my duty as a dad.”

Now, he’s talking to Stuckey again, only this time — he’s much happier.

“The latest news is incredible. I finally have won full custody of Sawyer,” Tinsley says, smiling. “I’m just so thankful, it’s like an absolute miracle, a dream come true.”

“It’s been like four-and-a-half years now of me fighting for him,” Tinsley says. “There was essentially another incident with my son’s mom, and she was arrested again. And there was CPS involvement.”

That incident involved his ex-girlfriend getting into a physical altercation with her father, which Sawyer bore witness to.

“They were fighting, it was a very serious fight, like with blood, very serious stuff, very scary for a four-year-old to see,” Tinsley explains, adding that Sawyer claims that his mother instructed him to start hitting his grandfather in the face with a plastic bat.

“The mother claims that he did it just in her honor without her saying anything, I tend to believe Sawyer,” Tinsley says. “I’ve seen the photos of the bloody kids' baseball bat or whatever it was, so it does seem that that happened and that there was a very serious altercation.”

As a mother herself, Stuckey is not only horrified by Sawyer’s mother’s actions — but thoroughly impressed with how hard Tinsley fought back.

“I’m just so thankful that you fought for him so relentlessly for so long,” Stuckey says. “It’s a big sacrifice. It took you a lot of time, a lot of effort, a lot of financial resources, and you did it because your son is worth it to you."

WTF! United Airlines kicks mom & baby off flight but keeps luggage because mom accidentally misgendered a flight attendant

After all the mechanical malfunctioning in its Boeing 737 planes, you'd think United Airlines would be doing everything in its power to keep customers coming back. But apparently that's not the case. In fact, United Airlines is booting people off planes.

Recently, a woman and her 16-month-old baby were kicked off a United Airlines flight when the mother accidentally misgendered a nonbinary flight attendant.

In a video, which has since gone viral, the mother explains how she, her mother, and her baby were “denied boarding" because while “speaking to one of the flight attendants, [she] got their pronouns wrong.”

Woman & Family Kicked Off This Airline for Saying This?youtu.be

If that wasn’t bad enough, the plane crew “took [their] luggage,” which contained vital medications for both the woman and her mother.

“I said ‘I'm really sorry ... I'm not very versed with pronouns,”’ she recounts in the video. “I was holding my son. He was having a temper tantrum. I had the car seat on my back. I wasn't really focusing on anything except getting my son's car seat on the flight and getting him comfortable and safe.”

The United crew deemed the situation a “hate crime” and allegedly barred the woman from flying United ever again.

“We don't even know how we're going to get back today,” she told the camera. “I don't know what to do ... I don't know what my rights are here.”

While Dave Rubin “can't speak to the legitimacy of her claims,” he does think it’s highly probable the mother was “not causing a real problem on the plane" — not to mention it’s a scenario we’ve seen a hundred times before.

“That is why these woke things are so dangerous,” he says. “They are breaking down the very fabric of society.”

To see the footage of the mother recounting her nightmarish United Airlines experience, watch the clip above.
