Ron Johnson gives hilarious response to Matt Gaetz's nomination

When asked about Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida's nomination for attorney general, Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin responded by holding up a photo of two transgender appointees from President Joe Biden's administration.

Johnson's printed-out pictures included a photo of Rachel Levine, who serves as the assistant secretary of health for the Department of Health and Human Services, and a photo of Sam Brinton, who was nominated as deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Nuclear Energy.

When pressed about Gaetz' nomination, Johnson held up the photos and asked reporters whether they ever "harassed" Democratic lawmakers about those nominees.

Although Gaetz has sparked controversy online and hesitation from certain members of Congress, Johnson pointed out past nominees who have been just as controversial as, if not more than, the Florida firebrand.

Both nominees have scandal-ridden histories. In Levine's case, he pressured Biden administration officials to remove age requirements for transgender surgeries and puberty blockers for minors. Levine has also made claims that "climate change is having a disproportionate effect on the physical and mental health of Black communities."

On the other hand, Brinton, who identifies as "nonbinary," has faced federal charges for allegedly stealing Tanzanian designer Asya Khamsin's suitcase at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia. Brinton was caught when he was photographed wearing one of Khamsin's designs, making this the third alleged incident of luggage theft Brinton had been involved with.

Brinton pled guilty in a sweetheart deal, receiving no jail time. Brinton is no longer serving in the Biden administration.

Although Gaetz has sparked controversy online and hesitation from certain members of Congress, Johnson pointed out past nominees who have been just as controversial as, if not more than, the Florida firebrand.

The federal government and Big Pharma FUND the STERILIZATION of CHILDREN — the proof will make you sick

Allie Beth Stuckey invites Daily Wire field reporter Spencer Lindquist on the show to dissect some most disturbing information regarding studies in transgenderism.

Spencer, who recently published an article titled “NIH funds study on puberty blockers, hormones on youth despite risk of sterilization,” unpacks his extensive research.

What he says will leave you sick to your stomach.

“The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is funding research on the effects of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone treatment on youth despite acknowledgment from the grantee that these medical interventions can result in sterility,” Spencer states in the article.

The parent/guardian consent form distributed at the Children's Hospital of L.A., which is where much of this research is being conducted, clearly states the risk of sterilization.

The form reads: “If your child starts puberty blockers in the earliest stages of puberty, and then goes on to gender affirming hormones, they will not develop sperm or eggs. This means that they will not be allowed to have biological children.”

According to two different studies, “98% of children who take puberty blockers go on to take cross-sex hormone therapy.”

If the math is correct, that means roughly 98% of children taking part in these studies will likely be sterilized in the process.

Guess what’s funding this research at the NIH?

The taxpayer dollars lining Joe Biden’s pockets, of course.

Further, “the NIH is funding a wide array of different studies focused on transgenderism, particularly transgenderism in youth,” Spencer says.

In fact, Spencer uncovered “a $3.26 million grant from the NIH to the Boston Children’s Hospital” that, according to the NIH, was intended to “[expand] access to ... gender-affirming care.”

The grant was specifically geared toward “what they call TDG youth,” Spencer says, “that’s transgender and gender-diverse youth,” which focuses on individuals “between the ages of 13 to 24.”

Some may wonder how the federal government and the NIH are justifying the type of research that results in the sterilization of children.

Simply put, they point to transgender suicide and the need to prevent it.

Allie quotes the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health, Rachel Levine (a transgender woman), who is on record stating that the Biden administration gives its “highest support” to the transition of minors, claiming that it’s essential for their mental well-being.

“That’s exactly how these grants are justified,” Spencer says. “We keep hearing this claim that this is ... a medical necessity for these children.”

Allie is astounded by this claim because she has yet to see any legitimate evidence that justifies the federal government funding research that results in the sterilization of children.

It’s also worth noting that Dr. Stanley Goldfarb of the Do No Harm organization has gone on record stating that there is “no good evidence that children treated with gender-altering hormones or puberty blockers improved mental health assessments.”

So what’s the real motivation behind this research then?

Spencer points to “the actual profit that the pharmaceutical companies make.”

He goes on to explain the inner workings of the “Gender Cool Project,” an organization that is “all about making transgenderism cool,” he says.

The organization “[takes] young children who identify as transgender, and [it gets] them these very high profile media interviews” at “Teen Vogue, ABC, USA Today, The New York Times, Washington Post,” and even “at the White House,” Spencer explains.

It should come as no surprise then that Pfizer, the “pharmaceutical titan” Spencer calls it, is one of the biggest benefactors of the Gender Cool Project.

Now, why would Pfizer want to support the glorification of transgenderism?

“When you look into the products that Pfizer makes, we identified at least five different drugs that are used in these sex-change attempts,” he says.

Might the motivation behind Pfizer’s generous donations be because the more transgender people there are, the fatter its piggy bank gets?

“So Pfizer is supporting [the Gender Cool Project],” so “they can profit from the products that are being used to facilitate child transition?” Allie asks, visibly horrified.

Spencer tells her that it’s not just Pfizer though.

“[Pfizer] wasn’t the only Big Pharma company that was backing the Gender Cool Project,” he says. “There’s also ABV Pharmaceuticals” and “Bayer.”

What these Big Pharma companies are doing is “making lifelong patients dependent upon [them],” he concludes.

Rachel Levine says medicine is being 'politically PERVERTED,' calls on doctors to 'STAND UP' for trans youth

On "The News & Why It Matters," BlazeTV hosts Sara Gonzales and Pat Gray, along with BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens and child advocate Chris Elston, discussed a video clip recently uncovered by parental rights advocate Megan Brock showing the Biden administration’s assistant secretary for health, Rachel Levine, calling on doctors to become activists for "LGBTQI+ youth" because "medicine and science are being politically perverted around this country."

“As a Pennsylvania parent who watched kids in my community be kept out of school for more than a year under Levine’s tenure as PA Secretary of Health, the irony of this statement is not lost on me.”
— Megan Brock (@Megan Brock) 1670190842

"For almost 40 years now, I have considered it an honor to be a doctor. I believe in our role as healers. I believe in our role as truth-tellers, and the truth that we need to confront now is that medicine and science are being politically perverted around this country. This destroys human lives, and we have reached a tipping point for the role of medicine in civic life for the health and well-being of LGBTQI+ youth and other Americans," Levine said in the video.

"Those who attack our community are driven by an agenda of politics. It has nothing to do with medicine. It has nothing to do with science. It has nothing to do with warmth, empathy, compassion, or understanding. They are rejecting the value of supportive medicine, rejecting well-established science, and simply rejecting basic human compassion. We as doctors and as people who love our communities and love our nation, have to confront the fact that the language of care and compassion that they're using is being taken to [sic] granted to literally tear our communities apart. So, we have to stand up. We have to take a stand on behalf of those who are being hurt. That's what we do in medicine, even when it's difficult."

Brock recently exposed a 2017 email exchange between then-physician general for the state of Pennsylvania Levine and Nadia Dowshen, the co-founder and co-director of the Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which showed a lack of scientific evidence to justify gender-change surgeries for minors.

“🚨Bombshell email🚨

In 2017, @SecretaryLevine asked CHOP Gender Clinic Co-Founder, Nadia Dowshen, for literature to support gender confirmation surgery protocols in minors. This was the response:

“Hi Rachel, I'm not aware of existing literature but it is certainly happening.””
— Megan Brock (@Megan Brock) 1669038988
“In 2017, @SecretaryLevine and Nadia Dowshen worked together to stop HB 1933, a bill that prohibited the use of taxpayer dollars to provide gender surgery or gender transitions services.

They were successful.”
— Megan Brock (@Megan Brock) 1669038988

“@PFIpolicy reported that, since 2015, the @PAHumanServices has spent over $16.7 million in tax dollars through PA Medical Assistance “on sex reassignment and transition related services and drugs..””
— Megan Brock (@Megan Brock) 1669038988

Sara called Levine's claims "demonic," adding, "You're literally saying that everything that is not true, is true, and you're calling it medicine."

"What [Levine] means by 'medicine' in this case — and these are from the words of the doctors at the number-one ranked children's hospital in the country, Boston Children's Hospital — if a child, if a little girl tries to pee standing up, or a boy doesn't want to get a haircut, or they play with opposite gender's toys, this makes them transgender," noted Elston.

"Dr. Marci Bowers, president of WPATH, The World Professional Association for Transgender Health, admits that boys who start on puberty blockers at Tanner stage 2, which is the beginning of puberty, as adults haven't been able to have any sexual function. These kids who start on puberty blockers and progress to cross-sex hormones, which is 98% of them, are sterilized for life. So, this is what they call medicine and science, and they call it misinformation or disinformation for us to repeat their own words," he added.

Twitter suspends Tucker Carlson over 7-word tweet about transgender HHS official Rachel Levine

Twitter suspended the official account of Tucker Carlson over a tweet composed of only seven words about a transgender member of President Joe Biden's administration.

Carlson was commenting about the suspension of the Babylon Bee and Charlie Kirk over respective tweets calling Rachel Levine, the assistant secretary for health at the Department of Health and Human Services, a male. Levine is a biological male but identifies as a transgender female.

“But wait,” Carlson’s tweet said. “Both of these tweets are true.”

Twitter deleted the tweet, and a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to the Daily Wire that it had violated its terms of service.

“We prohibit targeting others with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category,” said the spokesman. “This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.”

"Deadnaming" is when a transgender person is called by a name of the gender they utilized before transitioning, or a name associated with their biological gender.

The social media company said that Carlson would have to delete the tweet and be suspended for 12 hours in read-only mode before obtaining control of his account again.

A Fox News spokesperson told the Daily Wire that Carlson intended to respond to the suspension.

“Tucker plans to address this on the show tonight, so best to tune in this evening,” the spokesperson said.

The Babylon Bee's CEO Seth Dillon issued a defiant statement about their Twitter ban on Sunday.

"We're not deleting anything," Dillon said. "Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it."
