Bill Maher DESTROYS Kamala; explains why she CAN’T win

Bill Maher might be a never-Trumper, but that isn’t stopping him from taking shots at Joe Biden’s replacement, Kamala Harris.

“On the Democrat’s best issue, abortion, she’s a walking reminder to women that Republicans are coming for the abortion pill. She won’t just protect Plan B, she is Plan B,” Maher joked to his audience.

“Harris would be the first woman president, first black woman president, and first Asian president. But I don’t vote for who will be the first. I vote for who will win. And for whatever reason, Harris has never been popular. You can count the number of delegates she won in the 2020 primaries on one hand. As long as that hand has no fingers,” he continued to thunderous applause.

Maher also poked fun at her career as a prosecutor and her horrific job handling the border, and shockingly, his audience laughed at all of it.

“He’s acknowledging she’s not popular,” Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” comments, pointing out specifically his border joke.

“If you care about anything that is liberal, if you care about women or minorities or anything else, then the border is the number one issue. Everything is downstream from immigration, period,” Rubin says.

“Bill is acknowledging that nobody likes her. She has no track record of doing anything. And the few things that she was tasked with or in this case, the one thing that she was tasked with in the last 3-and-a-half years, she absolutely destroyed. Which is the border,” he adds.

Fetterman stuns Bill Maher; calls out Democrats for supporting Hamas

While Sen. John Fetterman has a history of gaffes almost as long as Joe Biden’s, he’s becoming more coherent by the day.

In a recent appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the Democrat from Pennsylvania stunned the crowd when he dropped his party’s talking points and did what Democrats rarely ever do: make sense.

“I didn’t leave the label, it left me,” Fetterman told Maher regarding where he stands politically. “After what happened on October 7, I really knew that that whole progressive stack would be blasted apart.”

Fetterman went on to say that he “decided early on” that the right side of the Israel-Hamas war would be Israel, though he knew Democrats as a whole would “continue to peel away and kind of walk away from standing with Israel.”

“How do you explain that?” Maher asked Fetterman. “If you can, that the people who consider themselves the most liberal have abandoned Israel, which was always a liberal darling, for the people, a terrorist organization, the people who outwardly say they want a genocide, who outwardly are the one side of this who is against the two-state solution.”

“Some of the most progressive and left parts of the Democratic Party are standing, you know, for the kind of side that have kinds of organizations like Hamas, or these kind of nations that there are no rights for women, and they certainly don’t embrace the LGBTQ kinds of lifestyle,” Fetterman said.

Fetterman then explained that even in Philadelphia, Queers for Palestine blocked the Pride parade.

“I never saw that on the bingo card,” he added, as the crowd — and Maher — erupted in laughter.

While Dave Rubin knows that none of what Fetterman said is shocking to those who already believed it, he is shocked that a Democrat said it.

“It is good that a Democrat, who, as Bill is saying, is sort of an old school Democrat, is saying the progressives really are bananas now.”

Bill Maher Reveals His Presidential ‘Dream Ticket’

'Something to reach across so that we don’t live in this world where everybody sees the other side as an existential threat'

Newsweek editor gives Bill Maher headaches, gets Democrat guest to admit border wall may have helped illegal alien crisis

Batya Ungar-Sargon, Newsweek's opinion editor and author of "Bad News: How Woke Media Is Undermining Democracy," gave Bill Maher all sorts of headaches on "Real Time" Friday night, particularly when she got a former U.S. representative — a Democrat, no less — to admit a wall at the border with Mexico actually may have helped America's illegal alien crisis.

What are the details?

In one segment, Ungar-Sargon challenged Maher, asking him if he really believes America is better off now than in 2018.

"How were we worse?" Maher replied.

"Ask the American people," Ungar-Sargon answered back. "Inflation, immigration crisis, eight million people ... who cross [the border] illegally ... we don't know who they are. Crimes being committed. People can't afford homes because of the [high] mortgage rates."

Another program guest, former U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio), tried to call out Ungar-Sargon by saying if former President Donald Trump "would've built the wall, maybe all these people wouldn't be coming over illegally."

Ungar-Sargon obviously wouldn't let that moment go.

"Oh, so you support building the wall?" she answered back, laughing.

Furiously digging his way out of the faux pas, Ryan somehow managed to declare that Ungar-Sargon "can't have it both ways. You're blaming [President Joe] Biden for [illegal] immigration. Trump said he was going to build a wall. He didn't do s**t!"

— (@)

In another segment, Ungar-Sargon wasn't buying the idea that Biden may lose Michigan in the election due to the state's high Muslim population being angry that he's backing Israel in its war against Hamas.

"I think that the media really, really wants to put this narrative out there that Biden is going to lose Michigan over Gaza when the truth is he's going to lose Michigan over 600,000 auto workers because his EV market was extremely punishing to auto workers," she stated.

More from Ungar-Sargon:

There's been this big realignment where working-class Americans are very, very, very much on the Trump train: People who used to be Democrats and used to vote for Democrats. And rather than admit that — this outrage that Democrats lost the working-class vote — and try to figure out how we can appeal to them again, they're looking for excuses and other things to blame. Like ... this war in Gaza, or they'll call them deplorables, or they'll call them racists, you know, because they don't want to admit that Trump has picked up a lot of the policies that used to be Democratic policies in the '90s, like controlling the border, for example. The idea that an open border and mass migration is extremely punishing to the working class; it drives down their wages. It's class warfare against the working class. It is an upward transfer of wealth from the working class who end up competing with immigrants to the elites who end up employing them, and now they can employ cheap [labor] immigrants instead of having to pay working-class Americans a living wage.

Bill Maher guest tells MSNBC host to his face the problem with legacy media networks: 'It's propaganda all the time!'

Writer Andrew Sullivan told MSNBC host Ari Melber to his face on Friday that he works for a propaganda company.

During a lengthy debate on Bill Maher's HBO show "Real Time" about the significance of Donald Trump's political resurgence, Sullivan observed how the Democratic Party's reaction to Trump is eroding American democracy.

"What the Democrats have done the last four years, which is respond to Trump by going even further to the left, means that we are losing the legitimacy of the system," Sullivan said. "When you lose that core legitimacy, you lose your democracy — that's where we are really going to lose our democracy because we don’t believe in it any more.

The left's overreaction, according to Sullivan, is driving Americans to distrust "all the institutions" and to support "a strongman" like Trump. Sullivan, therefore, predicted Trump will defeat President Joe Biden in November.

Melber, in response, told Sullivan that he made "fair points" but criticized him for sounding "a little bit both-sides-y."

While the MSNBC host acknowledged problems with the Democratic Party's "overreaction to Trump," Melber immediately absolved Democrats by claiming "there's not equivalence here." He explained:

There isn't a both-sides-ism to this decay, and what Trump does — and I agree at times he may draw his opponents into messy dumb feuds — but he is the one banking on a cynicism, an attack on democracy, and a complete rejection of the policy-democracy that you want because they didn’t even have a platform. So he’s saying, it’s just me. You don’t even know what I’m going to do. Just vote for me. No platform. And you’ve got a whole Republican Party that’s basically codifying that.

Melber's response, according to Sullivan, demonstrated the exact problems with TV networks like MSNBC, Melber's employer.

"You know what would be good at MSNBC is if you actually did think about both sides and weigh the arguments and make constructive arguments against that side while respecting them," Sullivan said.

"You don't do that — it's propaganda all the time!" he exclaimed.

— (@)

Sullivan's observation clearly struck a nerve with Melber, who denied it is true. And to be fair, Melber hosts many Republicans and Trump supporters on his show.

But Sullivan's point holds true for most of MSNBC and the legacy media in the eyes of a majority of Americans, which is why trust in the media remains near record lows. It's also why alternative forms of media — like independent journalism, podcasts, and subscription-based models — are overtaking traditional media.

Bill Maher and Seth MacFarlane cross swords in heated debate over COVID vaccine efficacy: 'Djokovic didn't need it!'

Bill Maher brashly challenged "Family Guy" creator Seth McFarlane on the effectiveness and safety of the COVID vaccine.

Maher declared on his "Club Random" podcast: "I would think this country did not allow for natural immunity to be considered. And I know this is a subject dear to your heart. Like, even if you had the disease, you still had to get a vaccine. That’s powerfully stupid. They don’t do that in Europe."

MacFarlane claimed that the theory of natural immunity for COVID-19 was "debunked."

"Don’t you know people have had COVID four or five times? I do. That’s not natural immunity. There’s no immunity there. You’ve had COVID five times," MacFarlane argued.

Maher pointed out that high-risk groups, such as the elderly and the obese, should be vaccinated against COVID-19. However, he contested that tennis star Novak Djokovic and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers "didn’t need it!"

MacFarlane asked the "Real Time with Bill Maher" host what the "downside" of "getting a vaccine."

Maher fired back, "Well, the fact that you don’t even have a clue what’s the cost of getting a vaccine that you don’t know the answer to that. You completely want to shut your eyes to the fact that there are repercussions to all medical interventions, including a vaccine, including all vaccines."

"They come, they say side effects, just like every medication does. You can see it in the literature. They can’t write it on their back on the vaccine. So you have to dig them," the liberal HBO star ranted. "And of course, there is a vaccine court because so many people have been injured."

Maher noted, “This is not a screed to say don’t do vaccines. I’m not against doing vaccines. I’m against doing vaccines that I don’t think I need. I should be able to decide that for myself inside my body.”

In February, a study was published that declared that natural immunity provides "at least as high, if not higher" levels of protection against COVID-19 as two doses of an mRNA vaccine. The research analyzing 65 studies from 19 different countries was published in The Lancet – one of the oldest and most respected medical journals in the world.

In November, a study found that people with natural immunity to COVID-19 have better protection against the respiratory disease than those who received mRNA vaccines.

Ron DeSantis ERUPTS into laughter when Bill Maher says THIS about Florida

Bill Maher recently invited Ron DeSantis to his show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” and per usual, the anti-woke, liberal host had a long list of gotcha questions prepared.

Unsurprisingly, one subject they broached was Florida’s approach to COVID-19. Dave Rubin plays a clip of the two actually agreeing about what transpired in Florida during the pandemic.

“I think woke ideology has corrupted institutions, ... things like the CDC, with how they handled COVID,” DeSantis said.

“We’re on the same page,” Maher responded, “and I think it's unfair what they did to you because you did handle it better.”

“You were like, ‘Let’s target the people, protect the people who are most vulnerable, and everybody else can go on with their lives,’” Maher acknowledged. “You opened schools sooner, ... and they won't give you credit for that.”

“It’s not about credit for me,” DeSantis responded. “It’s about them admitting that they were wrong” because “if this happened again, they would repeat the same playbook all over again, and if we don't have accountability, that's what's going to happen.”

Maher also pointed out the absurdity of the New York Times’ “despicable hit piece” about how “Ron DeSantis f***** up the pandemic.”

At this, DeSantis breaks into a big grin.

“And then, like, at the very end, it says Florida's death rate overall was better than the national average,” continued Maher as DeSantis erupted into laughter.

“If you're gonna do an article about Florida and the pandemic, shouldn’t that be lead?” Maher asked.

“What we did is we understood you can't stop society because of one respiratory virus,” DeSantis responded.

“Here you have lefty, liberal Bill Maher who will, sadly, I think, never vote for a Republican, will never vote for DeSantis, but he at least has the balls to tell the truth,” says Dave.

HBO's Bill Maher created the woke pandemic

While many conservatives view Bill Maher and his show "Real Time with Bill Maher" as a bridge to the left, Jason Whitlock sees it differently.

“Bill Maher is the Dr. Fauci of the woke mind virus,” Whitlock charges.

“For more than two decades, Maher’s HBO laboratory, ‘Real Time,’ sponsored the gain-of-function research that led to the nationwide outbreak of the woke mindset and its primary variant — critical race theory,” Whitlock says.

However, Bill Maher is now trying to “disavow and distance himself from the virus his lab leaked with countless bats**t conversations.”

One of the conversations Whitlock is referring to is the interview Maher held on Friday with billionaire serial entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Whitlock says the “gist of their exchange dealt with the now obvious danger of the woke mind virus,” and that his Friday show “highlighted a level of cognitive dissonance that is well beneath his intellect.”

Musk had explained to Maher that Americans must be vigilant in their protection of free speech, to which Maher responded that he had been “canceled” many times.

Whitlock offers that despite Maher’s claim of being victimized by cancel culture, his “Trump derangement made him an ally and supporter of the enemies of the First Amendment.”

“The woke mind virus is narcissistic,” Whitlock continues. “It prioritizes itself above country. Maher can see it in Trump. Maher can’t see it in himself or apparently leftists.”

Whitlock says that while he does like Bill Maher, he wants him to be honest.

“He created this madness. He participated in this madness. He justified the Trump derangement. That is nothing but a variant, a root cause, part of the woke mind virus — and he should cop to it and get real with himself.”

“He’s like most people in corporate media,” Whitlock continues. “He does what his overlords tell him, and he avoids conflict and anyone questioning anything that comes out of his mouth.”

Piers Morgan shuts down Dem lawmaker for attacking Riley Gaines — then Gaines responds to accusations

Piers Morgan shut down Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) on Friday for accusing female athlete Riley Gaines of using her platform to seek attention.

Gaines made national headlines last week after she was accosted by a mob of transgender activists after she delivered a speech at San Francisco State University. The school later praised the transgender activists.

What happened with Morgan and Porter?

During an appearance on HBO's "Real Time," Porter said she "strongly" disagrees with Gaines for advocating against transgender athletes competing in women's sports. Morgan immediately challenged Porter.

"What has she actually said that is wrong?" he asked.

"I think that what she has done is try to turn this — we talked about people becoming — using things to kind of get likes and get clicks," Porter responded.

"That's not what she's doing," Morgan shot back. "All I've seen her do is stand up for women’s rights to fairness and equality. She actually competed against Lia Thomas, and it was obviously unfair. Lia Thomas won one of the races in the NCAA Championships by 50 seconds against a bunch of biological females who simply couldn't keep up. That cannot be right. It cannot be fair."

Instead, Porter said that sporting bodies should decide who gets to compete and said that Gaines is speaking only for herself.

"I think she’s speaking for pretty much every female athlete in the world," Morgan fired back.

“Piers Morgan and Bill Maher say Riley Gaines is standing up for female athletes worldwide, Lia Thomas has no place in women's swimming, and it's wrong to allow transgender athletes to decimate women's sports records:

Rep. Katie Porter: "[Riley Gaines] is doing this for likes and…”
— KanekoaTheGreat (@KanekoaTheGreat) 1681610884

How did Gaines respond?

The former All-SEC swimmer made it clear on Saturday that she is not simply speaking for herself and she is definitely not speaking out to gain attention.

"Hey @RepKatiePorter I'm not speaking up for myself," Gaines responded on Saturday.

"I'm done playing sports. I'm not fighting for me. I'm actually supposed to be in dental school this year," she explained. "But I've changed my life plans because I see what's at stake if someone doesn't fight for the present and next generation."

Gaines added that she is confused as to why women fight against "sex-based protections."

"Why is it always women fighting against sex-based protections? That will forever be beyond me," she said.

“Hey @RepKatiePorter I'm not speaking up for myself...I'm done playing sports. I'm not fighting for me. I'm actually supposed to be in dental school this year. But I've changed my life plans because I see what's at stake if someone doesn't fight for the present and next generation”
