Cannabis tax attorney running against GOP's Stefanik floats 're-education camp' for 'MAGA' Trump supporters after election

A cannabis tax attorney running against Republican U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik in New York’s 21st Congressional District floated the notion of a "re-education camp" for "MAGA" supporters of former President Donald Trump following November's election, Fox News reported.

Democrat Paula Collins made the comments during a public Zoom town hall this week, the cable news network said. You can listen to audio of her comments here.

'This is yet another reason why President Trump, Elise Stefanik, and voters in Upstate [New York] and across America will clean the Democrats’ clocks at the ballot box this November.'

"Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through, as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and re-educating, basically — which, that sounds like a rather, um [laughs] a re-education camp," Collins said during the town hall. "I don’t think we really want call it that. I’m sure we can find another way to phrase it."

Collins explained her comments in an email to Fox News Digital: "We currently have lawmakers, including Rep. Elise Stefanik, who mis-quote or mis-understand the law. Even if MAGA were to be resoundingly defeated, we would need to engage in widespread civics education, which both red and blue voters acknowledge has been slipping in recent years."

Collins added that "the goal would be such that regular citizens could understand the process by which the state courts process matters, compared to the federal court circuit, and so forth," Fox New noted.

"Rep. Elise Stefanik does not show a good understanding of the court structure in her home state of New York," Collins also told the cable news network.

In addition, Fox News said Collins emphasized that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's recent case against Trump is "a state matter, not a federal matter," adding that Stefanik's "outcry bespeaks a lack of basic civics education, as well as a basic lack of respect for the state supreme court system in her home State of New York."

"Similarly, many voters have misunderstandings and lack of regard for basic judicial systems that underscore the need for civics education," she also told the cable news network.

Stefanik's senior advisor Alex DeGrasse hit back hard against Collins' comments.

"This radical New York City Democrat Socialist who literally is renting a bed and breakfast room in NY-21 was caught on tape saying she wants to force Trump voters through ‘re-education camps,’" DeGrasse told Fox News, adding that "this is yet another reason why President Trump, Elise Stefanik, and voters in Upstate [New York] and across America will clean the Democrats’ clocks at the ballot box this November."

Collins has said that before this spring, she lived full time in New York City, the cable news network said, adding that election documents show Collins is based out of her law office — the Law Office of Paula Collins, PLLC — in New York City. Fox News added that she rents a room in a rental housing unit in Canton, New York, in order to claim residency in the 21st district.

Journalist exposes media outlet paying millions to US companies to publish propaganda disguised as news articles

It appears that major U.S. media outlets have been receiving millions of dollars from China Daily, a state-owned Chinese media company.

All China Daily has asked for in exchange for the millions is that these American publications publish Chinese propaganda disguised as news articles.

According to Drew Holden from the Washington Free Beacon, China Daily is “a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party.”

“It’s fully owned and operated by the CCP,” Holden tells Stu Burguiere, revealing that media outlets were getting paid “to include puff pieces about the Chinese regime” and “to talk about U.S.-China relations” in “ways that weren’t connected to the facts at all.”

The New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal had all been a part of this before severing their connections with China Daily when news got out about their involvement in 2021.

Time magazine has also partnered up with China Daily, receiving $3.5 million from the CCP-operated company since 2021.

Time created a segment called “China Watch,” which is a segment on Time’s website that runs advertisements that Holden says “really just look like bad news articles under the Time magazine logo.”

“They’re all gonna stop and stop taking the Chinese propaganda money. Right, Drew?” Stu Burguiere asks, noting that it would make sense now that they’ve been caught.

“You would think,” Holden laughs.

“Straight propaganda from our geopolitical nemesis in China being printed underneath their logos to be distributed to their readership, and they’re taking a ton of money to do this,” he adds.

PBS staff attorney said gov't should take away children of Trump voters and put them in 'reeducation camps.' Now he's out of a job.

A PBS staff attorney is out of a job after saying on a secretly recorded video that the federal government should take children away from people who voted for President Donald Trump and put them in "reeducation camps."

What are the details?

The Project Veritas video recorded prior to the 2020 election shows now-former PBS principal counsel Michael Beller saying "these kids who are growing up knowing nothing but Trump ... for four years," and "you've gotta wonder what they're gonna be like ... they'll be raising a generation of intolerant, horrible people — horrible kids."

Beller also said that "even if [then-Democratic presidential nominee Joe] Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters, and Homeland Security will take their children away ... and we'll put them into re-education camps."

He also called them "enlightenment camps" and said that "they're nice. They have Sesame Street characters in the classroom, and they watch PBS all day."

How did PBS react?

PBS released a statement saying, "This employee no longer works for PBS. As a mid-level staff attorney, he did not speak on behalf of our organization, nor did he make any editorial decisions."

The statement continued: "There is no place for hateful rhetoric at PBS, and this individual's views in no way reflect our values or opinions. We strongly condemn violence and will continue to do what we have done for 50 years — use our national platform and local presence to strengthen communities and bring people together."

What else did he say on the video?

In the video, Beller also said "Trump is close to Hitler," and that if the president were to win the election, the response would be to "go to the White House and throw Molotov cocktails."

He also said "PBS has like, real news" and "CNN doesn't have real news anymore. It's just talking heads talking about Trump all day long." But Beller said Fox News "makes me want to throw up after five minutes" and that it's full of "Joe Biden s**t" that's "all made up. It's all ridiculous."

As for his fellow citizens, Beller said, "Americans are so f***ing dumb. You know, most people are dumb."

Well, except for the elite who dwell in Washington, D.C., and are "educated and know stuff" — unlike those who live in "one of these other towns or states where everybody's just stupid."

Beller also commented on the coronavirus, noting that it's "great" that "COVID is spiking in all the red states right now." When asked why, he replied that "either those people won't come out to vote for Trump — you know, the red states — or a lot of them are sick and dying."

National Democratic Party official suggests re-education for Trump supporters: 'How do you deprogram 75 million people?'

David Atkins, a newly elected California member of the Democratic National Committee, declared recently that Democrats and liberals should "start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan" in order to "deprogram 75 million people."

The 75 million people he referred to are presumably Trump supporters.

According to the Associated Press, President Donald Trump received more than 73 million votes during the 2020 presidential election.

What are the details?

Conservative activist Jack Posobiec tweeted Atkins' remarks, captioning them, "A Democrat Party official in California is calling for national re-education camps for families who voted for Trump. This is not OK."

The tweets in question began, "How do you deprogram 75 million people who would literally die to stick it to the domestic enemies the teevee and youtube conspiracy vids told them to hate?"

He added, "No seriously...how *do* you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook? We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South."

"This is not your standard partisan policy disagreement," said Atkins, who is also a self-described author and activist. "This is a conspiracy theory fueled belligerent death cult against reality & basic decency. The only actual policy debates of note are happening within the dem coalition between left and center left."

He wasn't done there.

After receiving comments questioning his tweets, Atkins continued by attacking some conservatives for their ideals.

"I know conservatives are upset by some of the responses here," he continued. "And yeah, many are out of line. But what do you expect people to do in self-preservation? The Right has been running 4 years on 'f*** your feelings, my conspiracy theories are valid opinions, and we have more guns."

"You can't run on a civil war footing hopped up on conspiracy theories hating everyone who lives in cities, mainlining Fox/Breitbart/QAnon, threatening to kidnap governors and shoot protesters, without people trying to figure out how to reverse the brainwashing," he continued.

"[I] mean, for chrissakes, conservatives are literally giving themselves COVID just to own the libs," Atkins railed. "They're dying in COVID wards insisting they don't have COVID because it must be a liberal plot. People are gonna try to figure out how to defend themselves."

Anything else?

According to his website, Atkins served as a volunteer in Howard Dean's failed presidential campaign.

"In the 15 years since, I haven't stopped organizing to beat Republicans, support progressive causes, and hold the Democratic Party accountable to its values," the page boasts.

"Recently as a party activist I have ... [c]o-authored a successful resolution that the California Democratic Party passed in support key economic components of the Green New Deal," his page continues, pointing out the rest of his more recent accomplishments, which you can read all about here.
