Eau de Trump intoxicates Jill — but late-night losers still stink

Can someone check in on Rosie O’Donnell?

The former host of “The View” isn’t taking President Donald Trump’s re-election well. She’s far from alone. At least the comedienne didn’t check herself into a facility a la Rob Reiner.

Who wouldn’t want to be orphaned after watching your parents get gunned down by a common street thug? So much privilege!

Although maybe that would have saved her from broadcasting her paranoid meltdown on TikTok.

Her most recent post finds O’Donnell oversharing about a possible cold sore, complaining about MAGA members “taunting” her and looking much worse for the wear.

Still, she's less painful to watch than the boorish Sunny Hostin — or anyone else on "The View."

Colbert gets that not-so-fresh feeling

Even an avowed Trump hater like O’Donnell must have smiled at the president-elect’s newest troll move.

Trump shared news about a branded cologne product on Truth Social, using a recent photograph to help sell it.

The image? A snapshot of first lady Jill Biden looking at Trump with a sort of adoration. The real estate mogul, never one to miss a marketing opportunity, used the photograph in a cheeky attempt to sell some product.

Funny, funny stuff. Unless you’re a late-night talk show host, that is.

Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon all took turns swatting Trump for the hilarious move. Kimmel’s weak-tea response?

“He had to use that picture because he doesn’t have a picture of his own wife smiling at him.”

Colbert’s crack?

“In response, Dr. Biden used the photo to sell her new line of pepper spray.”

Slightly better, but still lame.

Trump can do plenty of things, but we’d love it if he could make Late Night Great Again …

Now please 'mansplain' why we should care

Bill Maher and actor Zachary Levi agreed to disagree ... a lot ... during their recent chat on the comedian’s “Club Random” podcast. Maher repeatedly lauded the “Shazam!” alum for his intelligence and demeanor, with both men clearly having a blast in the thoughtful exchange.

Tell that to Laura Benanti. The Broadway actress, who mocks former and future first lady Melania Trump on “The Late Show,” slammed Levi on a recent podcast interview. She said everyone enjoys his company but not her.

“'He’s so great!’ And I was like, ‘No, he’s not. He’s sucking up all the f***ing energy in this room. He wants to mansplain everybody’s part to them.'”

Easy, Laura — we already love Zach. No need to hype him up even more ...

Focker shocker

Just when we thought the world was healing, we get an uppercut from Hollywood Inc.

Yes, Trump’s Cabinet picks appear primed for Senate approval, Daniel Penny is a free man, and woke is on the run.

But we still have another Fockers movie to endure.

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro will reportedly reunite for a fourth “Meet the Parents” film. The first movie proved delightful, with De Niro playing against his tough-guy screen shtick.

By the time “Little Fockers” came around in 2010, we begged for the sweet release of death. Now, this ...

Who's Hugh

Hugh Grant became a star thanks to witty turns in films like “Four Weddings and a Funeral.” The term “foppish” became glued to his brand, from his floppy do to his stammering shtick.

At 64, Grant is no longer the British beau but a versatile, in-demand character actor. Last year, he played a puckish Oompa Loompa in “Wonka.” Now, he’s the dangerous neighbor putting two Mormon missionaries through their paces in “Heretic.”

The film features blood, gore, and more, along with tricky conversations about faith. It’s hardly a tale to be shared at a post-church chat, but it gets the genre job done. And according to the Golden Globes, it falls smack in the middle of the comedy or musical category.

Yes, the head-scratching awards group gave Grant a Best Actor, Comedy or Musical nomination. Somewhere, Pia Zadora is smiling ...

Activate the bat (virtue) signal!

We can’t get enough of Batman stories, but the scribe behind a new "Dark Knight" story thinks Bruce Wayne deserves a lecture on privilege.

That’s liberal DC Comics writer Tom Taylor, who has the Man of Steel tut-tutting Wayne over his wealth and white skin in the new "Detective Comics #1091."

Superman is right, of course. Who wouldn’t want to be orphaned after watching your parents get gunned down by a common street thug? So much privilege!

Superman better watch out — this DEI nonsense has proved to be kryptonite to many an iconic brand.

Punchy De Niro once again mistakes movie premiere for anti-Trump protest

Friends don’t let friends invite Robert De Niro to their movie premieres.

Director Francis Ford Coppola learned that lesson the hard way this week. The Hollywood icon debuted “Megalopolis,” his audacious new film starring Adam Driver and Jon Voight, before select IMAX audiences nationwide Monday.

Coppola introduced the film personally via a livestream Q&A prior to the screening featuring longtime pals De Niro and director Spike Lee. Neither is involved with the project, but both share long, personal ties with the director.

The event was meant to honor both Coppola and his latest film, but De Niro and Lee turned the event into a Trump roast.

They took turns torching the GOP favorite and demanding audiences vote against him come Nov. 5. If you’ve heard De Niro speak over the past seven-plus years, you know exactly what he said.

Different day. Same script. Yawn.

He’s done this shtick before. Team Apple edited the anti-Trump comments from his 2023 speech on behalf of the studio’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” event. Silly Apple. The company wanted the focus to remain on the movie, not the costar’s political obsession.

The actor raged against Trump anyway (and Apple for telling him what NOT to say).

At this point, De Niro needs to be given the Hannibal Lecter treatment at public events. Tied to a gurney. Face covered in a protective mask so he can’t spout his Trump rhetoric. Or, if you have a movie to promote, keep De Niro in front of the camera where he belongs.

Amazing abortion

Quick: What's the biggest issue facing America today? Unchecked immigration? The disappearing middle class? Rising crime?

Wrong! It's that we're not having enough abortions.

At least according to Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star shared why she’s voting for the “amazing” Kamala Harris come November.

“I know that she will do whatever she can to protect reproductive rights. That’s the most important thing, is to not let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion.”

Except Trump has been clear and vocal about not supporting a nationwide abortion ban.

We won't hold our breath for a fact-check, as the pro-choice movement relies heavily on this kind of fuzzy thinking. How else can a fetus simultaneously be a "clump of cells" and a developing baby — all depending on how the mother feels about it?

Lionsgate presents ... Robohack!

Lionsgate is giving AI a try.

The studio announced it will incorporate AI technology “to develop cutting-edge, capital-efficient content creation opportunities.”

That sounds like something an AI bot might write, but the bigger picture couldn’t be more obvious. AI tech can save Hollywood major money. And, in the case of Lionsgate, there’s never been a better time for just that.

The studio’s list of summer clunkers includes “The Crow,” “Borderlands,” and, most likely, “Megalopolis.” The expensive saga is expecting to open $4-8 million this weekend. The film’s budget is estimated at $120 million.

The first two Lionsgate films capped out at a horrifying $9 million and $15 million each, respectively.

The AI announcement may rankle some Hollywood insiders. Others realize it’s only a matter of time before they sign up, too.

Christmas jeer

“Red One” has a distinct “Jingle All the Way” vibe. Or is it “Fred Claus"?

We get a bevy of new Christmas movies each year, most of which make classics like “Elf” and “Christmas Vacation” shine even brighter by comparison.

Next up? “Red One,” and the buzz is already making us wish we got coal instead. It’s the movie that reportedly went way over budget because star Dwayne Johnson preferred not to arrive on set as planned. A lot.

Johnson and Chris Evans play reluctant partners trying to save a kidnapped Ol’ St. Nick (J.K. Simmons).

The trailer looks like the kind of glossy, high-tech film that snuffs out any semblance of Yuletide glee. We’ll reserve judgment for the finished movie, hitting theaters Nov. 15. If it’s as clunky as feared, watching “Die Hard” will bring that seasonal cheer back in a hurry.

Junket jailbreak

Movie journalists are as mad as hell, and they’re not gonna take it anymore.

The latest sign? Multiple journos boycotted a Johnny Depp-led press soiree after time constraints turned their face time into a tiny, embarrassing window. Previously, more than 100 entertainment scribes signed an open letter protesting the dearth of chances to query actors in recent months.

They have a point. This reporter often is given the chance to participate in “virtual” press junkets where the publicists can screen out any question deemed “inconvenient.”

Now, if only political journalists reacted with equal horror when VP Kamala Harris stiff-arms them on the daily.

Biden’s Numbers Go Down After NYC Show Trial Guilty Verdict

Biden immediately campaigned aggressively on the guilty verdict, but voters have thrown increasing support behind Trump.

Robert De Niro denied award over his Trump meltdown in NYC

The National Association of Broadcasters rescinded an award for actor Robert De Niro in the wake of his comments last week against former President Donald Trump outside a New York City courthouse where Trump's Stormy Daniels' trial was taking place, The Hill reported.

De Niro ripped into Trump at a press conference — held on behalf of President Joe Biden's campaign — and said Trump "wants to destroy not only the city, but the country, and eventually he could destroy the world."

'Mr. De Niro will no longer be attending the event.'

The left-wing actor also said, "If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted. And elections? Forget about it. That’s over, that’s done. If he gets in, I can tell you right now, he will never leave. He will never leave. You know that. He will never leave."

After Trump was convicted Thursday on all 34 felony counts, De Niro said “justice was served," Deadline reported.

The NAB was to give De Niro its Service to America Award on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., The Hill said.

“This event is proudly bipartisan, uniting those from across the political spectrum to celebrate the impactful work of local broadcasters and our partners,” an NAB spokesperson said in a statement to the outlet. “While we strongly support the right of every American to exercise free speech and participate in civic engagement, it is clear that Mr. De Niro’s recent high-profile activities will create a distraction from the philanthropic work that we were hoping to recognize. To maintain the focus on service of the award winners, Mr. De Niro will no longer be attending the event.”

Following the NAB's announcement, De Niro told The Hill, "I support the work of the NAB Leadership Foundation and would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for what the Foundation has done and will continue to do for the good of us all, and I wish them well for their continued good work."

What else?

De Niro had to contend with numerous Trump supporters who mercilessly heckled the actor from before the press conference until well after it was over. Amid the verbal fisticuffs, De Niro's onscreen tough-guy persona emerged as well.

In fact, De Niro got into a heated verbal altercation on the way back to his vehicle after the press conference, as detractors crowded around him and the group of men apparently protecting the actor.

Pro-Trump folks yelled out "wannabe!" and "sell-out!" and "nobody!" and "movies suck!" and "little punk!" NBC News reported.

"You're not going to intimidate!" De Niro yelled back, pointing his index finger. "That's what Trump does, to try to intimidate! ... We are going to fight back! We're trying to be gentlemen in this world, the Democrats! You are gangsters! You are gangsters!"

"You're washed up!" another person hollered at the actor, who clearly had enough by that point and fired off a nifty, "F*** you!" at his adversary.

Robert De Niro tapped by Biden to spread fear; says our ‘government will perish’ under Trump

Biden isn’t known for his excellent decision making, which is why it’s not surprising his administration would hold a press conference outside Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan.

Not only was the choice a strange one, but the press conference was held while closing arguments were set to begin — and featured actor Robert De Niro.

The press conference also featured two police officers who were at the Capitol on January 6, Harry Dunn, who Sara Gonzales notes is a “known perjurer,” and Michael Fanone.

“Under Trump this kind of government will perish from the earth. I don’t mean to scare you, no, no, wait. Maybe I do mean to scare you. If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted,” De Niro warned.

“And elections? Forget about it. That’s over, that’s done. If he gets in I can tell you right now, he will never leave. He will never leave,” he continued. “That’s why I’ve joined the Biden-Harris campaign, because the only way to preserve our freedoms and hold on to our humanity is to vote for Joe Biden for president.”

“You’re a liar,” Gonzales says, disturbed.

Harry Dunn also used the opportunity to spread fear, telling the audience, “The fight for a lot of us didn’t end on January 6. That evening when we went home, the fight still continues now. What happened that day was an attempt to overthrow an election.”

“Donald Trump is the greatest threat to our democracy, and the safety of communities across the country today. He has encouraged and continued to encourage political violence. We’ve been called traitors just today, we were all called traitors on January 6 for doing our job.”

Gonzales and Jaco Booyens are shocked by the display.

“Of course they’ll pull Robert De Niro. It’s the true deplorables that will stand there, and that press conference was about as dismal as a Joe Biden campaign trail,” Booyens says.

“These grandiose terms, ‘He’ll never leave,’ it’s scare tactics. And unfortunately, some Americans buy it,” he adds.

Robert De Niro's onscreen tough-guy persona appears to emerge amid verbal fisticuffs with Trump supporters in NYC

Actor Robert De Niro is known worldwide for his portrayals of iconic mobsters and tough guys on the silver screen going all the way back to the early '70s.

Whether it was the newly murderous young Vito Corleone in "The Godfather Part II" or the harrowing psychopath Travis Bickle in "Taxi Driver," De Niro sure can cast an intimidating presence in front of a camera.

But a different kind of lens was trained upon De Niro Tuesday morning in New York City when he appeared on behalf of the Biden administration to perform a full-on takedown of former President Donald Trump — and right outside the Manhattan courtroom where closing arguments were underway in Trump's Stormy Daniels trial.

But De Niro may not have been counting on the many Trump supporters who showed up to heckle and call out the actor — and the pushback went on pretty much from start to finish.

'I mean, this is really ... even these people over here are kinda ... it's kinda crazy. It's really crazy. And this thing ... Donald Trump has created this. He should be telling them not to do this. But he's just ...'

One video caught De Niro — wearing a COVID mask — walking down a street with a crew of nearly 10 men when one observer yells out to the actor, "Walk the street by yourself! I dare you!" Believe it or not, De Niro actually turns around to look at who's yelling at him. Perhaps life was imitating art in a "you talkin' to me?" kind of way.

In another clip, De Niro is standing in front of his microphone as multiple people are heard yelling at him from a distance — one hollers a "f*** you!" — and the actor has a hard time dealing with the vitriol and completing sentences: "I mean, this is really ... even these people over here are kinda ... it's kinda crazy. It's really crazy. And this thing ... Donald Trump has created this. He should be telling them not to do this. But he's just ..."

Blaze News earlier Tuesday reported on De Niro's ill-advised argument with an individual who verbally challenged him during the news conference.

"On January 6, while Republican lawmakers despicably tried to keep the loser Trump, the loser Trump, in the White House, and Trump-inspired insurrectionists stormed the Capitol, brave men and women from law enforcement put their lives on the line to defend this country. Our democracy. They are the true heroes," De Niro said, according to video of his remarks.

Turning to former U.S. Capitol Police Officers Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone — both of whom were standing behind De Niro during the news conference — the actor continued, "These guys are the true heroes. They stood and put their lives on the line for these low lives, for Trump."

With that, someone near the press conference blurted out to De Niro, "They lied under oath."

De Niro didn't like that — and he appeared to lean into his wise-guy persona with the volume and tone of his voice:

De Niro: "They lied under oath? Who lied under oath? What are you telling me?"
Crowd member: "Those two traitors behind you."
De Niro: "Excuse me?"
Crowd member: "Those two traitors behind you."
De Niro: "They lied under oath?"
Crowd member: "That's right."
De Niro: "What are you saying?"
Crowd member: "They're traitors."
De Niro: "They're traitors?" (Psst. That's what the guy said, Bobby.)

"I don't know, I don't even know how to deal with you, my friend. I don't even know how to deal with you," the actor went on. "They stood there; they didn't have to. And there were other ones in there who probably were in with them a little bit, too, and they found a way to get around — not these guys. They stood there and fought for us, for you. For you!"

"They weren't fighting for me," the crowd member responded.

"No? No, they fought for you, buddy, you're able to stand right here now," De Niro persisted.

For his closing act, De Niro got into a heated verbal altercation on the way back to his vehicle as detractors crowded around him as well as the group of men apparently protecting him.

"You're washed up!" another person hollered at the actor, who clearly had enough by that point and fired off a nifty "f*** you!" at his adversary.

On the plus side, at least one person hollered, “I loved you in 'Taxi Driver'!”

Biden Pressers Confirm ‘Get Trump’ Lawfare Is A Campaign Stunt

The Biden team's decision to use the weaponization of the justice system as a backdrop further confirms the show trial's political nature.
