Transvestite gets banned from women's disc golf tour due to last-minute decision from federal judge

A federal court overruled a district court's decision Friday, thus enabling the Disc Golf Pro Tour to prevent a transvestite from competing in an elite tournament against women.

While this is hardly the decision fringe LGBT activists desired, the restored gender policy now keeping male athlete Natalie Ryan out of the tournament is to the satisfaction of the supermajority of female Professional Disc Golf Association members.

What's the background?

Ryan can compete in the mixed professional open, but evidently prefers to compete against women and has done so since March 2019.

Ryan came in first in the PDGA female professional open Elite event in Leicester, Massachusetts, in September, taking $9,000 in prize money. Having similarly edged out women in other competitions — earning nearly $20,000 in prize money in 2022 — he is presently listed as #5 among the top female professional open on Disc Golf World Rankings.

Jonathan Kay noted in Quillette that those losing out to Ryan on prize money and accolades are women who have worked ardently, sometimes for decades, at making a living at the sport.

The biological advantage is undeniable, Kay indicated, citing the PDGA's own data.

For instance, in the "Advanced" amateur division dominated by men, players are capable of throwing a maximum distance of between 300 and 450 feet. In the "Advanced Women" division, players' throw distance maxes out at between 200 and 300 feet.

The world record for longest disc golf throws is even more illustrative of the delta in capability: For men it is 1,109 feet; for women it is 569 feet.

One female competitor suggested to Kay that it's hard competing against Ryan without realizing he's just a middling male athlete.

"They have this really obvious masculine energy — and so you’re constantly being reminded that you’re basically playing with an amateur-level male," said the woman, whose identity Kay kept anonymous. "The sight of it reminds me that I’m in an unfair situation, and it makes it hard for me to maintain my mental game."

Rule change

The PDGA Global Board of Directors voted in November to update its policy on transgender participation in gender-based divisions, effective Jan. 1. The corresponding Disc Golf Pro Tour followed suit.

This change came after the PDGA surveyed its membership and found that 67% of all members and 75% of DGPT women signaled opposition to having "transgender women" compete with women.

The PDGA's new rule requires that any so-called "transgender woman" must have started taking puberty blockers prior to the age of 12 in order to compete in the female professional open divisions of its elite events. Transvestites must also now continuously maintain a total testosterone level in serum below 2.0 nmol/L.

Men like Ryan are, as a result, ineligible to compete in the women's division.

Ryan didn't take the news well, reported the sports-focused LGBT activist publication Outsports.

"This change was never about fairness," he said. "This is about my success and their aversion to it."

Despite the supermajority of all members in disagreement with him, Ryan suggested that the PDGA should be replaced so he can have his way.

"We can elect more forward-thinking and progressive people. We can push bigotry out of our sport," he said. "The PDGA board chose to shrink our sport, so it is our turn to grow past their hatred and truly make this sport welcoming to everyone."

Lawsuit

Ryan filed a lawsuit in February, alleging "that the policy adopted by the PDGA and DGPT is arbitrary and capricious and in violation of [his] right to be free from discrimination based on [his] gender."

The suit demanded punitive and special damages and a permanent injunction against both the PDGA and DGPT enjoining them from barring transvestites from competing in the women's division of disc golf tournaments.

U.S. District Judge Troy L. Nunley granted Ryan a temporary restraining order Thursday, enabling him to compete against against women in the OTB Open over the weekend, reported the Daily Mail.

"It appears there was an intentional act, the creation of a policy, that excludes individuals based on their protected status as transgender women," wrote Nunley. "The Court makes no determinations as to whether this is sufficient to actually establish intentional discrimination, but it raises serious questions."

Ryan said of the decision, "Today is a momentous win for trans athletes. ... My fire is going to burn brighter than ever this weekend," reported Ultiworld.

As a consequence of the restraining order, Ryan was able to complete the first round of the tour, finishing the day in fifth place.

Mulligan

Ryan's legal victory quickly transitioned into a loss.

The DGPT appealed the decision and prevailed on Friday, getting Ryan booted off the tour.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals granted a stay to the restraining order issued by the district court, noting, "It appears that the district court lacks diversity jurisdiction over the [Disc Golf Pro] Tour because Plaintiff and at least one member of the Tour are citizens of Virginia."

According to Ultiworld, at issue was that for the case to be heard in a federal court, the plaintiff, a citizen of Virginia, had to be from a different state from the defendants, which was not the case.

Following the ruling, the DGPT stated, "This order restores the DGPT’s ability to enforce its current policy on Gender Eligibility. ... The DGPT will follow the court’s ruling and enforce its Gender Eligibility Policy which will disallow Ms Ryan from continuing competition in the OTB Open."

In a now-deleted post, Ryan wrote, "The DGPT is removing me from the OTB open. No matter where they go I will fight them every step of the way. If you thought I was fighting hard before, just wait," and threatened, "They are going to burn with me."

'Pure discrimination': Democrats brought to tears by Kentucky bill that prevents teachers from being forced to use preferred pronouns

A Kentucky bill recently passed the state Senate that prohibits school districts from requiring teachers to use the preferred pronouns of their students and requires school officials to notify parents if they are providing certain services to students, covering topics such as "human sexuality" or "family planning."

Kentucky Democrats called Senate Bill 150 "discrimination," "horrible," and "destructive," with one state senator reportedly having "sobbed," according to Kentucky.com.

Regarding teachers being compelled to use a student's preferred pronouns, the bill states that it shall "prohibit a school district from requiring school personnel or pupils to use pronouns for students that do not conform to that student's biological sex."

It will also require parents of students to be notified if they receive services "relating to ... human sexuality, contraception, or family planning," and also that "specific questionnaires or screening forms given to a child receive parental consent and review and forbid general consent."

The bill passed along party lines with a vote of 29-6.

A woman yelled, "You just killed kids!” after the vote.

The most outspoken Democrat was state Senator Karen Berg, who allegedly cried at her desk after the vote took place. Berg's transgender child committed suicide in 2022.

“Your vote yes on this bill means one of two things: Either you believe that trans children do not exist, or you believe that trans children do not deserve to exist,” Berg said.

“I can tell you these children exist," Berg declared, arguing that pronouns are "the single most important thing that can be done to improve a child’s health and well-being."

Louisville, Kentucky, Democrat Denise Harper Angel called the bill the "meanest piece of legislation and the most destructive for youth" that she has seen in 19 years.

Gerald Neal, another Louisville Democrat, said that the legislature has "a responsibility to protect the smallest, less empowered, threatened, vulnerable individuals, no matter who they are.”

“They own their space. We should not invade," Neal added.

Democrat state Senator Reginald Thomas argued that the bill would be imposing mandates on teachers while taking rights away from parents who wish to protect their children.

Republican state Senator Max Wise, who filed the bill, responded that there is no mandate in the bill.

“There is nothing in this bill mandating, as it relates to pronouns ... there is still the choice for teachers wishing to do so.”

'Sit this one out': Father of teen killed in Parkland shooting responds when Newsom criticizes Florida permitless carry proposal

Ryan Petty, whose 14-year-old daughter Alaina was among the 17 people killed in the 2018 shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school, responded to California Gov. Gavin Newsom's (D) criticism of a permitless carry proposal in the Sunshine State, telling the Golden State governor to "sit this one out."

"FACT: Permitless carry does not make you safer. States that allow concealed carry have higher gun homicide rates," Newsom tweeted. He noted that the proposal in Florida is being made close to the five-year anniversary of the Parkland shooting.

"Hey Gavin, my daughter Alaina was killed at Parkland and I support permit-less carry in Florida. If my daughter were alive she'd be carrying, because she would be defenseless in a gun free zone," Petty responded. "Sit this one out."

“Hey Gavin, my daughter Alaina was killed at Parkland and I support permit-less carry in Florida. If my daughter were alive she’d be carrying, because she would be defenseless in a gun free zone.

Sit this one out.”
— Ryan Petty (@Ryan Petty) 1675210258

The bill, which Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis supports, would allow people to carry a concealed firearm without a license — under the proposal, people would be authorized to carry a concealed weapon if they meet certain criteria required to obtain a license, though they would not need to get a license or the training required to obtain a license.

"California has suffered some horrific tragedies over the last couple weeks in mass shootings and gun control advocates promise that if we just implement their preferred policies, we'll be safer as a nation," Petty told Fox News Digital. "California has enacted what you could only call 'the dream' for gun-control advocates, and it is not proving to make Californians any safer. The reason is simple," he said. "Criminals don’t obey gun laws."

"I think Californians should just lift their heads up and realize that what they’re doing isn't making them any safer. You can't perpetually be just one more gun law away from public safety and that’s, unfortunately, what the gun control advocates are peddling," Petty said, according to the outlet.

Last year, gun control propoenent Po Murray absurdly accused Petty of supporting the massacre of kids at school.

"If you don't support the assault weapons ban then you support one of the worst crimes in America --- children being massacred by a shooter with an AR15 in an elementary school," Murray tweeted in October.

"I don’t support an assault weapons ban. Do you believe I support children being massacred, Po?" Petty tweeted.

"YES!" Murray replied.

Married exec claims he was fired by woke Google for not being 'inclusive' in aftermath of molestation at hands of Asian female executive

A married, 48-year-old New Jersey father of seven is suing Google, claiming he was fired after rejecting the unwanted sexual advances of a senior female director at the company.

Ryan Olohan's suit alleges that he was not only molested by his coworker, but that the company subsequently downplayed his concerns both about the incident and the rejected woman's alleged retaliation, in part because he is a white male.

“Large families are "environmental terrorism"? Our 7 children are loved, happy, healthy, and make the world (and our environment) better. Do you?”
— Ryan Olohan (@Ryan Olohan) 1600277436

Searching for accountability

Ryan Olohan worked at the company for 16 years until his termination on Aug. 5, 2022. His new lawsuit notes that a Google Employee Investigations Team chalked up his exit to a failure to be "inclusive" and to showing "favoritism towards high performers."

Apparently Olohan's favoritism did not extend to Tiffany Miller, director of Google's programmatic media and agency partnerships.

According to the suit, which names Miller and Google as defendants, Miller drunkenly molested Olohan at a New York City restaurant in December 2019 during an event hosted by Adam Stewart, vice president of consumer, government, and entertainment at Google.

"At the dinner, Miller approached Olohan and rubbed his stomach," says the court documents. "While rubbing his stomach, Miller told Olohan that he had 'such a nice body.'"

Miller is alleged to have made additional advances, suggesting that her marriage "lacked 'spice'" and that she knew Olohan liked Asian women, since he is married to an Asian woman.

The documents claim Olohan — made "extremely uncomfortable" by Miller's unsolicited and undesired touching and advances — "immediately removed himself from the situation."

While Olohan did not immediately raise alarm over the incident, given that his colleague was supposedly "drinking alcohol excessively" at the party, he later engaged coworkers who explained that Miller's behavior was "Tiffany just being Tiffany."

Olohan's suit indicates he ultimately reported the incident to a Google human resources representative, who allegedly admitted "that if the complaint was 'in reverse' — a female accusing a White male of harassment — that the complaint would certainly be escalated."

However, this admission was apparently couched within a broader concession that Miller "drinks too much alcohol."

Under Google's harassment policy, "Sexual harassment can happen regardless of the gender, gender identity, orientation or gender expression of the individuals involved, and can, for example, occur between same-sex individuals as well as between opposite-sex individuals."

"On information and belief, Google conducted no investigation regarding Olohan's complaint and Miller faced no formal repercussions," the court documents state.

Do no evil

In the vacuum of accountability, Olohan claims he soon became the target for retaliation, with Miller "criticizing him to other coworkers and complaining to Human Resources on at least two occasions about alleged 'microaggressions.'"

Human resource managers were reportedly present during the supposed offenses. Jacky Schiestel, one of the HR members, allegedly agreed that Miller was "being petty" and that no "microaggression" had occurred.

The lawsuit details a number of other instances when Miller allegedly denigrated or undermined Olohan in front of coworkers, in one case going so far as to require an apology. Google reportedly took no action.

Miller's alleged animosity toward Olohan, as described in the court papers, supposedly informed an identitarian push to oust "white guys" on the plaintiff's management team, culminating, ultimately, in his termination.

Olohan has since gone to work for the Klick Group as the executive vice president of growth, reported Nextshark.

Should his suit against Google alleging gender and race discrimination prevail, Olohan will see some growth in his bank account, although the damages have not yet been specified.

"This lawsuit is a fictional account of events filled with numerous falsehoods, fabricated by a disgruntled ex-employee, who was senior to Ms. Miller at Google," a spokesman for Miller told the New York Post. "Ms. Miller never made any 'advance' toward Mr. Olohan, which witnesses can readily corroborate."

"This employee was terminated with cause after a thorough investigation of complaints by numerous employees," the spokesman explained to the Daily Caller."

Google's sexual harassment problem

Olohan's claims echo those of employees who have in previous years suggested that Google tends to conceal rather than deal head-on with sexual harassment concerns, particularly when they concern high-ranking executives.

Thousands of Google employees walked out in fall 2018 in protest of the company's response to sexual harassment, reported Reuters.

In response to the protest, Google announced new policies around sexual harassment.

Sundar Pichai, the company's CEO, said at the time, "We recognize that we have not always gotten everything right in the past and we are sincerely sorry for that. It’s clear we need to make some changes. Going forward, we will provide more transparency on how we handle concerns. We’ll give better support and care to the people who raise them."

Pichai had previously revealed that the company had fired 48 people, including 13 "senior managers and above," for sexual harassment between 2016 and 2018.

In 2020, Google agreed to further changes to its policies and procedures around sexual harassment as part of a massive legal settlement valued at over $310 million, reported CNBC.

Julie Goldsmith Reiser, a lawyer for the plaintiffs in the suit, claimed, "We found that Google’s human resources department actually had some capable, smart processes and people in place but the powerful people didn’t feel the need to adhere to HR."

Dem lawmaker floats conspiracy theory that classified docs were 'planted' to damage Biden: 'I'm suspicious'

Democratic Rep. Hank Johnson (Ga.) floated a wild conspiracy theory on Thursday, suggesting the classified documents that President Joe Biden improperly retained were planted.

Johnson told Fox News reporter Hillary Vaughn that he is "suspicious" of the timing of the discoveries, and thus he is not "ruling out" the possibility that the documents were "planted" to damage Biden.

"My response to it all is that alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden, you know, I mean, there's so much that needs to be investigated," he said. "And that's, that's what I called for, is for everything to be investigated, but I'm suspicious of the timing of it."

"I'm also aware of the fact that things can be planted on people — places and things can be planted — things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently, that may be what has occurred here," Johnson claimed. "I'm not ruling that out."

“Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) says he is "suspicious" of the classified docs that were found at Biden's home and office

He suggests they might have been "planted" there to take Biden down

This is the same guy who said Guam might tip over and capsize in the ocean from overpopulation”
— Ryan Saavedra (@Ryan Saavedra) 1673558655

However, Biden himself appeared to discredit Johnson's suggestion when he admitted the classified materials discovered at his private home in Wilmington, Delaware, were kept inside his locked garage next to his prized Corvette.

The problem, of course, is the government has released only vague details about the discoveries.

Whereas the affidavit used to raid Mar-a-Lago was publicized, the White House is refusing to answer basic questions. For example, the White House is not saying why officials refused to tell the public about the classified documents until two months after the midterm elections. The White House, moreover, only admitted to the second batch of documents after NBC News reported on their existence.

Additionally, Biden says he was "surprised" by the discovery of classified documents in his private office and residence and claims he does not know what classified material the documents contained.

The president's claims lead to even bigger questions. Who, having access to highly classified information, could have put the documents in Biden's office and residence without him knowing about them?

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur to investigate the discoveries.

Indianapolis Public Library disputes large attendance estimate for Kirk Cameron's Christian children's book reading: 'We've had bigger events'

One might reason that a public library would be thrilled by a huge crowd showing for an event at its location, particularly when kids are part of the throng. You're talking about many potential brand-new book borrowers, the possibility of numerous return visits, and more foot traffic — all of which may equal greater interest in the library.

But the Indianapolis Public Library seems none too pleased about an attendance estimate for Kirk Cameron's reading of his God-focused children's book "As I Grow," which took place at there Thursday.

Specifically, the library tweeted Friday that an attendance estimate of 2,500 is inaccurate — and far fewer folks showed up than was noted on social media:

“We are being inaccurately portrayed in news/social after a room rental yesterday. Our estimated door count during the event is around 750, not 2500. We've had larger events. We turn 150 yrs old in 2023. And our auditorium, which our guests chose not to rent, holds 300, not 2000.”

"We are being inaccurately portrayed in news/social after a room rental yesterday," the library tweeted without naming Kirk Cameron or his book. "Our estimated door count during the event is around 750, not 2500. We've had larger events. We turn 150 yrs old in 2023. And our auditorium, which our guests chose not to rent, holds 300, not 2000."

Here's one tweet the library apparently didn't like:

“This is a message to every library in the United States:

In 137 years of the Indianapolis Public Library’s history, NEVER ONCE have they had over 2,500 people show up to a single event.

UNTIL TODAY.”
— BRAVE Story Hour (@BRAVE Story Hour) 1672343054

How are folks reacting?

The library's tweet disputing the attendance has been getting a lot of attention, with most commenters wasting no time skewering Cameron and accusing him of lying. However, a handful of folks chastened the library for being petty:

 • "Does it truly disturb you so much that an event, centered on Christianity, drew a large, predominantly white, audience? How pathetic you must be......." one commenter noted.
 • "Libraries finally are getting people back in the door, and now they want to rip their tax paying customers who keep the lights [on] and pay their salaries b/c they are conservative," another user said. "You [would] think they'd be thankful, but I guess libraries are only for liberals now. Backwards if you ask me."
 • "How about thanking them for their patronage and bringing at least 750 parents and children to experience the library?" another commenter wondered.

Anything else?

Cameron — who was scheduled to do another reading Friday afternoon at Scarsdale (New York) Public Library — appeared on Fox News also on Friday to talk about the controversy over his attempts to hold readings of his book at public libraries:

“Time to have a "meeting room rental" non-sponsored event where @KirkCameron will read "As You Grow" that is STILL not listed on the event calendar as of December 30th, 12:30pm CT.

@scarsdalelib”

Video: Massive overflow audience descends upon Kirk Cameron's reading of his God-focused children's book at Indianapolis Public Library

Brave Books — Cameron's publisher for his "As You Grow" children's book — earlier this month said two public libraries agreed to let him do readings for kids after initially saying no to the actor and outspoken Christian.

Cameron told Fox News Digital he "won" after challenging the libraries' denials and threatening to "assert" his "rights in court" — not to mention the libraries hosted drag queen story hours in June, according to the cable network.

One of the libraries to agree to Cameron's reading was the Indianapolis Public Library; the other was Scarsdale (New York) Public Library, where Cameron was scheduled to do a reading Friday.

Over 50 public libraries across the U.S. either rejected Cameron's requests for a story-hour program for children or did not respond to his publisher's inquiries, Fox News said, citing Brave Books.

Initially, the Indianapolis library employee who spoke to Brave Books about Cameron's reading said, "We are really looking at authors who are diverse. Authors of color. That’s really been our focus," the cable network reported.

When Brave Books countered that Cameron's book also adds to diversity of ideas and beliefs, the library representative replied, "Well, we are focusing on racial equity," Fox News said.

Fox News Digital said it reached out to both libraries for comment.

Decapitated body of Philadelphia woman found on kitchen floor; police arrested her partner

A woman in Philadelphia recalled her horror when she found her neighbor, a mother of two teenagers, decapitated on the kitchen floor of her apartment.

Mary Liz told WPVI-TV that she thought she was going to help her neighbor when she went to her home, but, instead, she saw a disturbingly gruesome sight.

"I'm here thinking I'm going to go apply pressure to the wound while I called the cops to help her out. I'm not thinking that I'm going to see what I saw," said Liz.

She said she went to the home after getting a phone call for help. She rents an apartment in the back of the same house.

She found her neighbor, 41-year-old Leila al Raheel, decapitated on the floor of her kitchen.

"It was a very horrible experience," she added, saying she was still in a state of shock.

When police arrived at about 12:45 p.m., they identified the victim's domestic partner as a person of interest and were able to detain him several blocks from the home. Neighbors told the news media that he had fled on foot.

Police arrested 24-year-old Ahmad Shareef and charged him with murder and desecration of a corpse.

“#UPDATE: @PhillyPolice announce arrest of 38-yo Ahmad Shareef charged w/ murder and other offenses. Police say he decapitated his partner, 41 yo Leila Al Raheel Tues in NE Philly on Magee Ave. Shareef was found several blocks away. Police have recovered a knife. @CBSPhiladelphia”

WPVI-TV reported that sources told them Shareef had been involved in numerous domestic violence incidents with family members.

One neighbor told WRC-TV that the victim had been treated like a slave and that one family in the neighborhood had moved away after Shareef had run out of the house half naked and threatened neighbors numerous times.

"There's always fights," Nyjha Richardson said. "Always quarrels. People in and out of the house constantly. It's never good. The yellow house is the worst house on the block!"

Liz said that she plans to look after the two teenage daughters of the victim who are now without a mother.

Horowitz: The triumph of DeSantis and conservative clarity

Perhaps it’s reflected in the fact that Florida seems to have its election results come in smoothly and quickly, while almost every other state lags. But Florida represents the culmination of a conservative dream. What would happen if we actually had a candidate who perfectly articulated our views, then was elected and governed in accordance with that promise? For years, we were told that such a candidate would be a disaster and could win only in a solid red district in a rural part of Texas or Idaho. Well, not only has the most conservative governor of our time flipped the ultimate swing state of Florida to ruby red, but he tipped the legacy Democrat county of Palm Beach to red as well!

The 30,000-vote margin of victory for Ron DeSantis in Florida over his radical Democratic opponent in 2018, a bad year for Republicans, was probably the most consequential 30,000 votes of our generation. In the aftermath of this pivotal election arose a governor who implemented one conservative policy after another, stood up to federal tyranny one time after another, and combatted the leftist blue bastions and corporations in his own state. Based on what we were told from the conservative consultant class, he should have been voted out or possibly carried by the skin of his teeth in a good GOP year. Instead, with 85% reporting, he is on pace to crack a 20-point margin of victory!

Here are some shocking statistics of how DeSantis carried Democratic strongholds, as of 9 p.m. election night:

 • DeSantis carried Miami-Dade County by 11 points; he lost it by 20 in 2018
 • DeSantis carried Hillsborough County (Tampa) by nine points; he lost it by nine in 2018
 • DeSantis carried Osceola County (Orlando suburbs) by seven points; he lost it by 21 in 2018
 • DeSantis carried Palm Beach County by 3; he lost it by 17 in 2018
 • DeSantis carried Duval County (Jacksonville) by 13; he lost it by 4.5 points in 208

Even in predominantly non-white Orange County, DeSantis is pulling 46%!

In other words, DeSantis kept the Trump coalition intact, won back suburban voters, won the Hispanic vote outright, and made some inroads in the black vote.

This is a man who has been tougher on illegal immigration and crime than any other government official has been — who holds policy views that Republicans told us would chase away non-white voters. “Wow ... We've re-written the political map,” said DeSantis in his acceptance speech. "Florida was [a] refuge of sanity in a world gone mad ... we stood our ground."

It’s also important to note that while most Republicans ran on the economy and crime, very few ran forcefully on COVID fascism and medical freedom. And in fact, based on most GOP campaigns, one would get the impression that the last two years never even occurred. DeSantis made COVID a big deal and will likely outperform the other Republicans tonight.

DeSantis sounds like a raving lunatic to GOP consultants, but his words are music to the ears of voters. And evidently, not just the hardcore GOP base voters. Who’s to say you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

Now, will Republicans watch and learn?
