'We can get this under control right now': Dr. Phil says border agents told him how to quickly solve the border crisis

Beloved talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw recently visited the U.S.-Mexico border and revealed that U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents gave him their estimates of how many illegal border crossings have actually occurred, along with solutions on how to solve the issue.

Upon the conclusion of his trip, McGraw told Fox News' Sean Hannity that the Biden administration's border policies have been encouraging bad behavior.

"One of the most fundamental psychological principles is you don’t reward bad behavior," McGraw, a psychologist, said.

The doctor explained that he wanted to speak to border agents who were spearheading the defense of the border and find out what the real issues were in handling such an influx of illegal immigrants.

"These guys are fighting a morale battle, because they can’t get what they need," he reported. "And I wanted to know what’s happening down here? What’s really going on? We hear this number, 6 million people have come across under the current administration."

But McGraw noted that the illegal encounters at the border were actually much higher than what is officially reported, according to his sources.

"I talked to experts down there that say that number is a myth, that it’s closer to 13 million to 14 million that have come across."

On a mission to find solutions, the famous host revealed that border agents didn't say they needed more funding, resources, or even more Border Patrol agents. Rather, they simply expressed that current U.S. federal law needs to be applied and enforced.

"We don’t need more legislation. We just need the laws that are on the books to be followed. We need to be allowed to do our job and we can get this under control right now," McGraw relayed.

Dr. Phil also described the different reactions evoked by particular law enforcement agencies: Texas state officials arrest and deport illegal border-crossers, while federal agents perform a catch-and-release method.

"The interesting thing that shocked me, Sean, if [illegal aliens] run into someone in a brown uniform, that’s a Texas Department of Public Safety border guard, they get arrested, they get put in jail, and they get returned," McGraw said, according to Daily Fetched. "If they run into a green uniform, that is a federal, they get money and a court date that’s seven to 10 years down the road, and they get released into the country."

McGraw added that if the illegal immigrants see a brown uniform, "they hide." If they see a green uniform, "they run toward it."

Days earlier, McGraw was pictured at the border wall in Eagle Pass, Texas, and was heard describing the sheer mass of illegal immigrants who have crossed the border under President Biden's administration.

"More than 6 million illegal immigrants have crossed the Texas southern border in just three years. That's more than the population of 33 different states in this country," McGraw said.

The doctor also placed blame at the feet at the vice president for failing to adequately address the problem.

"And what about our vice president, Kamala Harris? ... Did you know she's our country's immigration czar? Guess how many times she's been to the border? Once," McGraw explained.

Liberal social media furious after Wall Street Journal dares to allow Trump to attack Big Tech in scathing op-ed

Former President Donald Trump issued a scathing rebuke of Big Tech in an op-ed published Thursday in the Wall Street Journal, detailing why he is suing Big Tech giants and how he believes certain corporations are complicit in squashing the speech and diverse ideas of everyday American people.

Liberal social media quickly went into a frenzy over the paper's decision to allow the former president to write a piece for its pages.

What are the details?

In his article "Why I'm Suing Big Tech," Trump explained that he believes Big Tech is working in tandem with the government to "censor the free speech of the American people."

"One of the gravest threats to our democracy today is a powerful group of Big Tech corporations that have teamed up with the government to censor the free speech of the American people," he wrote.

Pointing out that the very idea is not just wrong, but unconstitutional, the former president vowed, "To restore free speech for myself and for every American, I am suing Big Tech to stop it.

"Social media has become as central to free speech as town meeting halls, newspapers, and television networks were in prior generations," he continued. "The internet is the new public square."

Trump added that in recent years Big Tech platforms have been censoring Americans and discriminating against free speech by de-platforming, suspensions, and more, "controlling the political debate" in America.

"Consider content that was censored in the past year," he wrote. "Big Tech companies banned users from their platforms for publishing evidence that showed the coronavirus emerged from a Chinese lab, which even the corporate media now admits may be true."

He also pointed to Big Tech's censorship on hydroxychloroquine treatment for COVID-19 cases as well as how the mainstream media and social media networks appeared to quash reports about the laptop controversy surrounding President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, and more.

"Perhaps most egregious, in the weeks after the election, Big Tech blocked the social media accounts of the sitting president," Trump continued. "If they can do it to me, they can do it to you — and believe me, they are."

Pointing to his recent class-action lawsuit against Big Tech giants such as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Trump added, "This flagrant attack on free speech is doing terrible damage to our country."

"The suit seeks damages to deter such behavior in the future and injunctions restoring my accounts.," he added.

In a Wednesday statement announcing the suit, the former president said, "I stand before you this morning to announce a very important and very beautiful, I think, development for our freedom and our freedom of speech. ... Today, in conjunction with the America First Policy Institute, I'm filing as the lead class action representative a major class action lawsuit against the Big Tech giants including Facebook, Google and Twitter, as well as their CEOs."

The lawsuit is seeking an immediate injunction to stop social media platforms from what he says is the "illegal, shameful censorship of the American people."

"Our case will prove this censorship is unlawful, it's unconstitutional, and it's completely un-American," Trump added.

Trump, concluding the op-ed, warned that Democrats are coordinating with Big Tech to suppress any nonconformist thought from social media platforms.

"This coercion and coordination is unconstitutional," he insisted. "The Supreme Court has held that Congress can't use private actors to achieve what the Constitution prohibits it from doing itself. In effect, Big Tech has been illegally deputized as the censorship arm of the U.S. government. This should alarm you no matter your political persuasion. It is unacceptable, unlawful and un-American."

What are people saying?

One user complained, "Trump screams 'I AM BEING CENSORED!' from the editorial page of a mainstream international media outlet. Shame on you, @WSJ, shame on you, @WSJopinion."

Another added, "It's not the biggest takeaway from Trump's op-ed (the biggest has to do with what WSJ opinion has become) but it was still perplexing to me that Trump's use of 'illegal alien' wasn't changed by an editor. AP stopped using the term in 2013, and many pubs have since followed suit."

"WSJ must know the case has no merit and is being used as a fundraising tool. You have some duty to your readers don't you? Maybe some duty to yourselves? Some code of ethics?" another fumed.

"And again, reminding me why I canceled my WSJ subscription," one user quipped.

Another took aim at the paper for not being "serious" or thoughtful."

"Future generations will marvel when we tell them the Wall Street Journal was once considered a serious, thoughtful newspaper," the user wrote.

Another snarked, "*NOTE* @WSJopinion is not @WSJ, rather more similar to right-wing propagandists such as @seanhannity and @OANN."

Two Trump supporters shot in drive-by pellet gun attack at a corner rally in Florida

Police say someone drove by a street corner rally for President Donald Trump in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and fired into the crowd with a pellet gun, striking two supporters of the president.

Fort Lauderdale police said the two adult victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.

Witnesses said that they saw a black Porsche SUV round the corner they have called "Freedom Corner" before the shots rang out.

Trump supporter Celeste Ellich told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that they had experienced drivers throwing water bottles at them but this was the first time someone shot at them with a pellet gun.

"You still should be able to stand there and peacefully protest," said Ellich. "I was waiting for something like this to potentially happen."

One of the victims spoke to WSVN-TV about the attack.

"I didn't come out here looking for trouble, I came out here with a flag to support my president!" said an emotional Evelyn Alvarez.

She showed the wound where she had been shot in the temple, very close to her eye.

"We were having a peaceful rally to show support for our president, just out here flag waving and with our signs," said Alvarez.

She said that they heard the occupants of the car shouting obscenities during the attack. Another woman was hit in the shoulder.

One Trump supporter posted video reportedly showing the aftermath of the shooting with the police response.

A similar incident was documented in the nearby neighborhood of Wilton Manors where two pedestrians were shot with paintball pellets by people driving by in a truck. No political motivation was reported in that attack.

Ellich, who is the director of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida, said that they would make sure future events ended before dark.
