Reasons why Mitch McConnell needs to GO (besides the fact that he's 627 years old)

Some Republicans might make excuses for Mitch McConnell, but Mark Levin is not one of them.

“He cost us the Senate last election time, spent millions defeating conservatives. He undermined the Tea Party in 2010, did everything he could to them. He came out just the other day and told McCarthy, you know, you need to tap the brakes here when it comes to impeaching Joe Biden,” Levin explains.

Levin also notes that McCarthy and Biden go back decades and both have connections in China.

“Both families have made a fortune off Communist China, it’s the truth. Communist China owns a lot of Washington folks,” he says.

While Levin believes that the conservative movement is the only movement that cares about protecting our republic, McConnell is doing his best to constantly undermine it.

“He’s a bad dude. He got his wife an appointment at the Transportation Department. His family has a cozy deal with the Communist Party regime in China to move freight by ships.”

Levin isn’t alone in his criticism.

In a recent video of McConnell speaking to an audience, the crowd chants “lost the Senate” and “resign.” McConnell continues with his speech, acting as though he can’t hear the disapproving crowd.

“Notice he just talks through it like it’s no big deal. Because in Washington, now he’s in Kentucky, but in Washington they dismiss people like you and me. We’re just a loudmouth bunch of raunchy, you know, extremists,” Levin says.

While that’s what the Washington elitists might believe, Levin knows that’s not what the crowd is.

“We are the Republican Party,” he says defiantly.

Old people need to stop running our country

Mitch McConnell’s term runs through 2026, but many aren’t so sure he should be in office at all.

The internet was set ablaze yesterday when McConnell was recorded speaking to reporters at a press conference and then suddenly stopped speaking at all.

The Kentucky senator halted mid-sentence and appeared to stare blankly into the distance before stepping back from the podium and being led away.

“This is what happens when you stay in office forever,” Pat Gray comments, adding, “They’re hell-bent to drop dead in office.”

However, McConnell did make it back to the podium where he faced a few questions regarding what had happened.

A reporter asked McConnell what happened at the beginning of the press conference and earlier this year when he had suffered a concussion.

“I’m fine,” McConnell responded.

“You’re fully able to do your job?” The reporter pressed further.

“We’ve got so many of these situations in Congress. In the presidency, okay? Starts right at the top with Joe Biden. You’ve got Nancy Pelosi who’s been compromised. You have Dianne Feinstein who’s 90, and everybody admits that she’s deep into dementia of some sort,” Gray continues.

Even John Fetterman, who isn’t quite up there in age, has his issues.

Gray believes something needs to be done about this.

“It’s not good for the country. So, maybe we should take that into consideration. Start, I don’t know, being honest that you can’t stay in office indefinitely,” he says.

Mitch McConnell RETIRING after potentially serious BRAIN DAMAGE?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was hospitalized after a fall last month and may be on the verge of retirement because of it.

The fall left him with a severe concussion and potentially serious brain damage. According to reports, he’s been in and out of the hospital and rehab.

Sara Gonzales says it's also being reported that “Republicans in the Senate are scrambling to come up with a new game plan” because of this.

She adds, “Sources are saying that he is going to announce immediate retirement. Not like, ‘Hey, I’m going to retire at the end of my term,’ but immediate retirement.”

Gonzales believes this could be a moment for change.

“This would be the chance to have some sort of a ... new leader who is actually conservative.”

Actor Matthew Marsden joins Gonzales to give his thoughts on the matter.

“If he’s mentally impaired and physically impaired, then he should just become a Democrat and get elected another six times.”

“I’m not joking, I mean come on,” he adds.

Matthew J. Pearson chimes in.

“Now we have a bunch of geriatric people who are clawing for dear life.”

While Gonzales and her guests wish McConnell well, Pearson agrees that “there’s an opening to shake up leadership.”

Gonzales points out that it’s not just McConnell whose time may be up.

“Dianne Feinstein,” she says, “89 years old.”

And she’s not the only one.

“Chuck Grassley,” she continues, "89 years old as well. Bernie Sanders, 81 years old.”

“I don’t even know if Joe Biden’s alive and he’s the president. So, they’re very good at propping these people up [and] using them as the puppets that they are supposed to be.”

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell urges Americans to get vaccinated ASAP — or risk another shutdown

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is imploring unvaccinated Americans to get the COVID-19 shot or risk repeating last year's shutdown.

What are the details?

On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that McConnell urged Americans to ignore what he said was "demonstrably bad advice" from pundits and proponents of an anti-vaccine agenda.

During his weekly Capitol Hill news conference, McConnell said, "If there is anybody out there willing to listen: Get vaccinated. These shots need to get in everybody's arms as rapidly as possible or we're going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don't yearn for — that we went through last year. This is not complicated."

McConnell, a childhood polio survivor, added that it "never occurred" to him that "we'd have difficulty getting Americans to get the shot."

He tweeted a video of his remarks, and captioned it, "Get vaccinated! These shots need to get into arms as rapidly as possible, or else we're gonna be back in a situation this fall like what we went through last year."

At the time of this reporting, the video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times.

What else?

Last week, McConnell made similar remarks during last week's conference, saying, "I'm perplexed by the difficulty we have in finishing the job. We're in the red zone, but we're not in the end zone yet."

"We need to finish the job and part of it is just convincing the American people of the importance of doing this," he added.

Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Miss.) joined McConnell during the conference and added, "We are not nearly in as bad of a place as we were, but we're not nearly in as good a place as we would all like to be."

June polling from Fox News found that 55% of Republicans surveyed said that they received the vaccine compared to 78% of Democrats and 59% of independents.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Delta variant now accounts for 83% of known U.S. COVID-19 cases. The increase, the outlet reported, is "primarily occurring in areas with lower vaccination coverage."
