Sean Strickland and Elon Musk call out woke gaming company Sweet Baby Inc as 'leftist cesspool' and 'evil blight'

Former UFC Champion Sean Strickland and X owner Elon Musk have entered into the arena of the biggest controversy in the video game industry in years.

With diversity, equity, and inclusion narratives forcefully injected into gaming in recent years, gamers have finally started to pinpoint the culprits. One such company, Sweet Baby Inc., was recently accused of going after gamers when one of the company's employees allegedly encouraged followers to mass report a community that was forming in opposition to DEI in gaming.

The gaming community's apparent crime was simply pointing out which games Sweet Baby Inc. had worked on as a way of warning fellow gamers that such titles were likely ripe with diversity-driven narratives. Employee Chris Kindred allegedly said that this constituted "harassment."

Musk recently commented on the phenomenon of woke gaming in response to an episode of "The Matt Walsh Show." Walsh's podcast not only mentioned Sweet Baby Inc. but also a developer who works under the umbrella of publishing giant Electronic Arts. It was noted that a developer named Danielle Lalonders had said that it is sometimes "hard to work with white people" because they often don't realize they are committing a "microaggression."

"Video games need to get rid of the woke bs," Musk wrote. "Getting lectured with tedious propaganda is not why people play games!"

Days later, Musk commented on the aforementioned Sweet Baby Inc. employee, Kindred, who was again accused of going after a different gamer for "harassment."

"Sweet Baby Inc is an evil blight on the gaming industry. All they do is make games terrible and try to cancel people. They cannot go broke soon enough!" Musk added.

@stillgray Sweet Baby Inc is an evil blight on the gaming industry. All they do is make games terrible and try to cancel people.

They cannot go broke soon enough!

Strickland, the outspoken former middleweight champion, took the opportunity to quote Musk's comments and use them as a way to show that Sweet Baby Inc. is a microcosm of his issues with the gaming industry.

"'Sean why aren't you in the UFC game,'" Strickland wrote to emulate an exchange he has had. "Years later being a top contender 'Wow your stats are so low,'" he continued.

"Well you guys, the video game industry is [a] leftist cesspool. I am the definition of what these people hate... BUT! I take it as a compliment:) thanks," he added.

"Sean why aren't you in the UFC game"
Years later being a top contender
"Wow your stats are so low"

Well you guys, the video game industry is leftist cesspool. I am the definition of what these people hate....

BUT! I I take it as a compliment:) thanks.

Neither Sweet Baby Inc. nor employee Kindred have replied to requests for comments, however Sweet Baby Inc.'s founder, Kim Belair, has made public statements about the issue.

"People can’t imagine that we might do anything else but DEI," she told website Kotaku. "They can’t imagine that we’re just talented writers, that we’re talented narrative designers and that people are hiring us because we tell good stories, because we collaborate well, and because we write video games. They have to diminish our accomplishments to our identities."

However, a Brazilian gamer called Kabrutus — who was allegedly targeted by Sweet Baby Inc.'s employee — told Blaze News that gamers are intentionally silenced.

"I think that they just want to silence anyone who doesn't like what they do. They even tried to get me banned on Steam and lose my 13-year-old account."

The gamer also referred to a statement posted on the group's page, which noted that it was not, by any means, "a group that is trying to 'kill' [Sweet Baby Inc.] or even convince people to not buy any game that they've worked on."

Sweet Baby Inc. and its employee did not immediately respond to further request for comment regarding Strickland and Musk's statements.

Rabid leftists fired from coffee shop after blocking Jewish customer from entering restroom to document anti-Semitic graffiti

A trio of rabid leftist employees have been fired from an Oakland coffee shop after they were caught on video blocking a Jewish customer from entering a restroom so she could document anti-Semitic graffiti.

What's the background?

Cellphone video shows the trio of Farley's East employees — two masked females and one unmasked male — blocking the woman from entering the restroom.

The male is heard telling the woman she already got her food and that she's "holding up s**t."

One of the females tells the customer that "this is private property" and tells her to leave the coffee shop.

"I want to go into the restroom," the woman says repeatedly.

The male employee remarks, "I know Israel loves taking private property and saying it's their own …"

A female employee accuses the customer of "misgendering" — though the context of the accusation isn't clear.

The customer says it's her right to enter the restroom, to which the male employee replies, "And we have a right to refuse service."

The employees blocking the customer also tell the determined woman she can use the coffee shop's other restroom — just not the one they're blocking.

The customer digs in her heels and refuses to leave — and then challenges the employees, saying that if they "agree" with the graffiti in the restroom, they shouldn't be afraid of her documenting it.

With that, she's allowed to enter the restroom, where she records video showing the graffiti. One message read, "Zionism = fascism":

Initial apology draws angry responses

Farley's East apologized on its Facebook page last week — a post that has since been taken down. While the apology note indicated the shop has "taken corrective measures with our staff and removed the offensive graffiti" and that "we're not anti-Semitic," a deluge of angry comments poured in — as of Friday afternoon, the apology post had drawn nearly 6,000 comments and nearly 3,000 angry emojis.

Conservative commentator Jason Rantz told Farley's East, "This is a pathetic apology. No comment about the antisemitic staff?"

Fired

Farley's East posted a new Facebook statement Saturday saying the three employees caught on video had been fired.

"Events like these strike fear in the Jewish community and perpetuate the rise of anti-Semitism in our community and around the world. We do not tolerate any behavior at Farley’s that makes people feel unwelcome or unsafe," the statement read, in part, adding that "though all employees are entitled to hold differing viewpoints, they are not entitled to express themselves on the job in ways that are disrespectful and hurtful to anyone."

Reportedly Jewish customer wants to document anti-Semitic graffiti in coffee shop restroom. Rabid leftist workers block her.

A reportedly Jewish customer recently wanted to enter a restroom in an Oakland coffee shop to document anti-Semitic graffiti scrawled inside it, but three coffee shop employees were caught on video blocking the customer from entering the restroom, telling her to leave, and making anti-Semitic comments of their own in the process.

What are the details?

Farley's East coffee shop is apologizing after the confrontation caught on video last week, KPIX-TV reported.

Cellphone video shows the trio of employees — two masked females and one unmasked male — blocking the woman from entering the restroom.

A third woman — who's unmasked and standing off to the side — jumps into the fray and tells the customer she can use the restroom next door if she wants.

This female jumped into the argument and offered to let the customer use a restroom at the business next door.Image source: X video screenshot via @stillgray, composite

The employees blocking the customer also tell the determined woman she can use the coffee shop's other restroom — just not the one they're blocking.

Apology draws angry responses

Farley's East apologized on its Facebook page:

While the apology note indicated that the shop has "taken corrective measures with our staff and removed the offensive graffiti" and that "we're not anti-Semitic," a deluge of angry comments poured in — as of Friday afternoon, the apology post has drawn nearly 6,000 comments and nearly 3,000 angry emojis.

The Facebook account for conservative commentator Jason Rantz's radio show told Farley's East, "This is a pathetic apology. No comment about the antisemitic staff?"

Others couldn't have agreed more:

 • "You may not be antisemetic, but your employees seem to be. Especially the male in the video. How dare he make these statements to her. Time to rethink your staff. I’m trying really hard to be civil here. They’re not making it easy! And about the graffiti, if they knew it was there, it should have immediately been removed. Or the bathrooms closed to everyone with an ‘out of order’ excuse until it could be dealt with," another commenter wrote.
 • "Every single employee in the video needs to be fired. Every. Single. One," another commenter said. "I hope she sues not only the restaurant, but these employees as well. This is NOT 1940s Germany, as much as these employees hope for it."
 • "Not enough, training. Those employees are the face and heart of your shop. If they don't reflect your values, they shouldn't be there," another commenter stated. "If they're still there tomorrow, they reflect your values."

Elon Musk says he suffered 'major side effects' from booster shot, felt like he was 'dying for several days' — but his healthy cousin fared worse

Elon Musk admitted Friday evening to suffering "major side effects" after he received his second COVID booster shot — a shot he indicated was obligatory on account of business travel.

This admission came after Rasmussen Reports published recent survey results revealing both the apparent prevalence of vaccine side effects and the majority desire for a congressional investigation into how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) handled vaccine safety.

What's the background?

Rasmussen Reports released the results of a poll on Jan. 20, indicating that 70% of Republicans, 48% of Democrats, and 54% of unaffiliated voters want a congressional investigation into the CDC's handling of vaccine safety during the pandemic.

While the results skewed along party lines, majorities of every racial category (56% of whites, 51% of black voters, and 66% of other minorities) noted a desire to hold the CDC accountable.

The majority of respondents may get their way.

The Republican-controlled Congress has authorized the creation of a new House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, which the Washington Examiner noted will have broad jurisdiction.

While this subcommittee will probe the origins of the virus, it will also reportedly investigate vaccine development, COVID-related school closures, and other issues pertaining to the pandemic. It could possibly look into what the CDC knows about side effects of the vaccines.

"There’s a lot of confusion out there, there’s a lot of uncertainty out there, and I believe every American regardless of their political ideology would like to know the truth,” said House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R., Ky.).

Rasmussen Reports, also interested in a general sense of whether the CDC "provided the public with complete information about the danger of side effects from COVID-19 vaccines," previously posted a video on Jan. 16 detailing the findings of another survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2022.

Mark Mitchell, head pollster at Rasmussen Reports, suggested that "since there are approximately 260 million American adults, that implies that 177 million [roughly 68%] of them are vaccinated. According to our poll, with a 41% side effect rate, that means that 72 million Americans have experienced at least a self-identified minor side effect."

"Using a 7% major side effect rate [on the basis of this polling data], 12 million of those 72 million American experienced a self-identified major side effect," added Mitchell.

When asked whether they "personally know anyone whose death [they] think may have been caused by side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines," 28% of respondents answered "Yes." 61% answered "No," and 10% indicated they were not sure.

“Public opinion about #CovidVaccine deaths and side effects has far-reaching public health consequences.

All other pollsters have ignored the issue. WHY?

Please share this zero-commentary clip of our vaccine polling.

Discussion at Youtube:
https://t.co/wkrXIrawVn”
— Rasmussen Reports (@Rasmussen Reports) 1673893964

The tech magnate's admission

In a follow-up Twitter post referencing these takeaways, Rasmussen posed the question, "How many people does CDC estimate had major side effects?"

Elon Musk responded to the post after it had been retweeted by Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams, providing a brief personal account of the troubles he faced after receiving his second booster shot.

Musk wrote, "I had major side effects from my second booster shot. Felt like I was dying for several days. Hopefully, no permanent damage, but I dunno."

— Scott Adams (@Scott Adams) 1674224054

The tech magnate explained that he had been infected with the original COVID-19 virus "before the vaccines came out and it was basically a mild cold."

He later received the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, and indicated that with the exception of a temporarily sore arm, he suffered no "bad effects."

However, things changed for Musk when receiving his next series of shots.

Musk noted that he ultimately received two mRNA booster shots. The first one was "ok, but the second one crushed me."

“@peters8620 @stillgray @ScottAdamsSays I had OG C19 before vaccines came out and it was basically a mild cold.

Then had J&J vaccine with no bad effects, except my arm hurt briefly.

First mRNA booster was ok, but the second one crushed me.”
— Scott Adams (@Scott Adams) 1674224054

When pilloried over this admission that he got a second booster shot, Musk indicated that it had been "required to visit Tesla Giga Berlin. Not my choice."

Although Musk was allegedly "crushed," his cousin reportedly suffered a worse fate.

The Twitter CEO added, "And my cousin, who is young & in peak health, had a serious case of myocarditis. Had to go to the hospital."

The CDC contends that "COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective and severe reactions after vaccination are rare," noting that "The benefits of COVID-19 vaccination continue to outweigh any potential risks."

The agency also claims that myocarditis, pericarditis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome, anaphylaxis, and reports of death after vaccination are "rare."

As of Jan. 13, the CDC continues to recommend "that everyone ages 6 months of age and older stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccination; this includes individuals who are currently eligible to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine."

The agency claims that "Staying up-to-date with vaccines is the most effective tool we have for reducing death, hospitalization, and severe disease from COVID-19."

Contrary to these federal implorations to keep vaccinating, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has recommended against mRNA COVID-19 vaccines for men in the 18-39 age range, after his state's health department found "an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination."

"Studying the safety and efficacy of any medications, including vaccines, is an important component of public health," Ladapo said, according to a press release. "Far less attention has been paid to safety and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed – these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians."

Kyle Rittenhouse Hints at Suing Media: 'I Have Really Good Lawyers ...'

The reason so many people believe so many things that aren't true about Kyle Rittenhouse is because so many things that weren't true kept being reported. People who paid attention knew it was a clear case of self-defense. People who got their news from CNN, MSNBC, and other leftist blue-checkmark douchelords thought the worst. Even while the trial was going on, the media continued lying. Defamation cases are hard to prove, but Rittenhouse is going for it anyway.

"I'm hoping one day there will be some-- there'll be accountability for their actions that they did... I have really good lawyers who are handling that."

The interesting thing here is there are two groups of invalid truths: You had the year's worth of misinformation spread by liberals and the media (but I repeat myself) prior to the trial. Then you had the crap spewed during the trial, ignoring all the facts of the trial. CNN lied four times in 14 seconds. Kyle's last attorney is on record blasting MSNBC. Joy Reid is... well, Joy Reid. For Kyle, it's a target-rich environment. There are many people to go after for defaming him (cough::Joe Biden::cough). I'll let his really good lawyers decide which ones to go after.

My advice to everyone is to sit back and start popping popcorn, now. Things are going to get entertaining.

Dramatic video shows hostage situation unfold: SWAT team neutralize armed suspect barricaded in high-rise apartment, save woman

An unhinged California man went on a violent crime spree in downtown Los Angeles on Friday. The armed suspect shot a teen and then later barricaded himself with a hostage in a high-rise apartment building. Dramatic video captured the intense standoff between the armed man and police – which ended with the suspect being killed.

The terrifying sequence of events started around 4:10 p.m., when the suspect was on the sidewalk and put a gun to a man's face. He pulled the trigger, and "fortunately the gun did not fire," the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The man then went into a business and pointed the gun at a family. This time the gun fired, and the bullet grazed the head of a 14-year-old. The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

The suspect left the business and attempted to carjack a woman, but was unable to get inside the vehicle and fled. The frenzied man then got into a physical altercation with a person riding a bike.

Officers attempted to apprehend the gunman, but he ran into an apartment building.

"The officers established a perimeter and began requesting additional resources including K9 and SWAT," LAPD said. "While a tactical plan was being put in place, officers became aware of surveillance footage from inside the apartment complex. They saw the suspect in a hallway armed with a gun forcing a female to come with him. At that point, we knew we had a hostage situation."

Onlookers in the area witnessed the chilling hostage situation unfold in the apartment building. The kidnapper is seen close to the window holding a gun to the woman's head as law enforcement shines a spotlight on the apartment unit.

Suddenly, several loud explosions are heard, which are believed to be flash-bang devices. A SWAT team enters the apartment and multiple gunshots ring out. The suspect was shot by an officer and pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was rescued and taken to a local hospital. Police told KABC-TV that the woman was "OK physically." The tactical team was unharmed.

DeSantis rips Biden as being 'obsessed' with forcing 'kindergarteners to wear masks all day in school' while 'letting Afghanistan burn, our border burn'

The ongoing feud between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Joe Biden continued this week as the two politicians attacked each other. DeSantis slammed Biden for his handling of the pullout in Afghanistan and said the president is "obsessed with having the government force kindergarteners to wear masks all day in school."

During an appearance on Fox News' "Hannity" on Wednesday, DeSantis blasted Biden for the turbulent withdrawal from Afghanistan.

"Well, he's asleep at the switch," DeSantis said of Biden's withdrawal from the now Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

"When you're leaving thousands of Americans to fend for themselves behind enemy lines, that matters. When you're leaving billions of dollars in military equipment for our enemies to just take, that matters. It's going to make that area a disaster."

"Obviously, Americans are at risk," DeSantis told Fox News host Sean Hannity. "And Sean, you know, who's looking at this? China, Russia, North Korea, all of our adversaries are taking the measure of Joe Biden. And they see that this is not somebody who's capable of leading with conviction and leading on the world stage. So they are going to do everything they can, as long as he's president, to take advantage of that. And I think we're in for a rocky three and a half years, as long as he's president."

"He was on vacation; they had to ply him off of vacation to give a kind of a half-cocked statement on camera that he said wasn't taking questions," the Republican governor added. "Then he goes back on vacation, and he is obsessed, while you have all this stuff going on with Afghanistan, obviously all this stuff at the southern border — which you and I have talked about, one of the biggest border disasters in the history of our country — inflation, gas prices, and what does he do? He is obsessed with having the government force kindergarteners to wear masks all day in school."

DeSantis questioned Biden's fixation on mask mandates for schoolchildren. "And you got to wonder, where are your priorities that you're so obsessed with this issue and so obsessed with taking away parents' rights? You're letting Afghanistan burn, our border burn, and so many other things in country fall to pieces."

DeSantis was referring to Biden's address earlier Wednesday, in which the president never mentioned Afghanistan and didn't take a single question from the press corps. What President Biden did talk about was taking "legal action" against states that enacted bans on mask mandates in public schools.

"Today, I am directing the secretary of education — an educator himself — to take additional steps to protect our children," Biden declared from the East Room of the White House. "This includes using all of his oversight authorities and legal actions, if appropriate, against governors who are trying to block and intimidate local school officials and educators."

"As I've said before, if you aren't going to fight COVID-19, at least get out of the way of everyone else who is trying," Biden said, referring to Republican governors like DeSantis who have implemented bans on mask mandates for students. "We're not going to sit by as governors try to block and intimidate educators protecting our children."

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) 1629319180.0

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has raised the possibility of using the department's civil rights enforcement arm to fight bans on mask mandates.

"We cannot sit around. We have to do everything in our power, including civil rights investigations and even referring matters to the Department of Justice for enforcement if necessary," Cardona proclaimed.

"I've heard those parents saying, 'Miguel, because of these policies, my child cannot access their school, I would be putting them in harm's way,'" Cardona said. "And to me, that goes against a free, appropriate public education. That goes against the fundamental beliefs of educators across the country to protect their students and provide a well-rounded education."

"The department has the authority to investigate any state educational agency whose policies or actions may infringe on the rights of every student to access public education equally," Cardona noted.

The New York Times explained, "If state policies and actions rise to potential violations of students' civil rights, the department could initiate its own investigations into districts and investigate complaints made by parents and advocates who argue that prohibiting mask mandates could deny students' right to education by putting them in harm's way in school."

Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, and Tennessee enacted orders prohibiting school districts from imposing mask requirements. Arizona passed a ban on mask mandates in schools, but it doesn't go into effect until Sept. 29.

"These states are needlessly placing students, families, and educators at risk," Cardona wrote. "Yet in each of these states, there are also educators and others who are taking steps to protect the health and safety of their school communities."

Cardona wrote letters to the seven states with bans on mask mandates that threatened to cut federal funding to states that block school districts from enacting "science-based strategies."

"The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP Act) requires each school district that receives Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to adopt a plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services," Cardona wrote in a blog post. "As I wrote in the letters, actions to block school districts from voluntarily adopting science-based strategies for preventing the spread of COVID-19 that are aligned with the guidance from the CDC may infringe upon a school district's authority to adopt policies to protect students and educators as they develop their safe return to in-person instruction plans required by Federal law."

Shocking videos show just how many US military weapons are now in the hands of Taliban terrorists

Jake Sullivan, national security adviser to President Joe Biden, admitted Tuesday that "a fair amount" of United States military weapons fell into the hands of Taliban terrorists when they swiftly took control of Afghanistan.

But what, quantitatively speaking, is a "fair amount"? New videos suggest that Sullivan may have been understating just how many American arms the Taliban seized.

What do the videos show?

With the American military presence now limited to the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, billions of dollars' worth of military arms were left behind as American forces were ordered to leave their installations and Afghan security forces, which were armed in part by American tax dollars, collapsed.

Videos circulating on social media show Taliban forces seizing thousands of firearms and ammunition.

One video showed thousands of various rifles, a seemingly endless number; body armor; and other assorted military equipment — all now in the hands of Taliban terrorists.

How did this happen?

The Washington Post detailed the Afghan government corruption that helped facilitate the Taliban's swift victory and also explains how so many American arms fell into the hands of terrorists.

From the Post:

The spectacular collapse of Afghanistan's military that allowed Taliban fighters to walk into the Afghan capital Sunday despite 20 years of training and billions of dollars in American aid began with a series of deals brokered in rural villages between the militant group and some of the Afghan government's lowest-ranking officials.

The deals, initially offered early last year, were often described by Afghan officials as cease-fires, but Taliban leaders were in fact offering money in exchange for government forces to hand over their weapons, according to an Afghan officer and a U.S. official.

Over the next year and a half, the meetings advanced to the district level and then rapidly on to provincial capitals, culminating in a breathtaking series of negotiated surrenders by government forces, according to interviews with more than a dozen Afghan officers, police, special operations troops and other soldiers.

By all accounts, the amount of American military equipment seized by the Taliban cost billions of taxpayer dollars. Still, neither the Biden administration nor the military have given any indication that U.S. firepower will be recovered.

When asked by a reporter on Monday what steps the U.S. military was taking to recovery U.S. military assets, Maj. Gen. Hank Taylor said, "I don't have the answer to that question."

White House press secretary Jen Psaki 'out of the office' this week as Afghanistan falls and President Biden vacations

White House press secretary Jen Psaki is "out of the office" this week while President Joe Biden vacations at Camp David — all while Afghanistan rapidly falls to the Taliban in a stunning takeover, Fox News reported.

The cable network said it sent questions to Psaki's White House email address Sunday morning and then tried to reach her once again Sunday evening — and each time received the same auto-reply: Psaki wouldn't be available this week.

Although Biden is on a scheduled vacation, Republicans ripped his absence amid a colossal disaster in a country that was the primary focal point following the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks in the United States — a month shy of 20 years ago.

"Joe Biden has been commander-in-chief for seven months — the current failure in Afghanistan falls squarely on his shoulders," Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said. "His lack of leadership during this pivotal moment has been shameful — it has only served to embolden our adversaries and let down our allies."

Indeed, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani fled to Tajikistan, the presidential palace in Kabul on Sunday was "handed over" to the Taliban, and U.S. diplomatic members were forced to evacuate the U.S. Embassy in Kabul on helicopters — a scene that drew comparisons to the fall of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam war.

In addition, Biden reportedly "overruled" top U.S. military commanders when he authorized the full withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan. Vice President Kamala Harris also played a "key role" in Biden's decision.

What did folks have to say about Psaki?

Psaki's absence only added fuel to criticism of the Biden administration's handling of the crisis:

Biden issued a Saturday statement placing blame on former President Donald Trump for the Afghanistan debacle — after which Trump blasted Biden, saying the current commander-in-chief "gets it wrong every time on foreign policy."

It's also been reported that Biden will address the American people on the Afghanistan situation in the "next few days."

Mob of pro-Palestinian thugs ask LA diners if any of them are 'Jews,' witness says. Then brave mob beats up two Jewish men.

A pair of Jewish men dining outside a Los Angeles restaurant Tuesday night were allegedly attacked by members of a pro-Palestinian caravan driving through the area, KTLA-TV reported.

What are the details?

The incident took place just before 10 p.m. outside Sushi Fumi on North La Cienega Boulevard in the Beverly Grove neighborhood, the station said — and portions of the attack were captured on cellphone video.

A witness told KTLA she was sitting with a group of friends when the caravan displaying Palestinian flags drove by and began shouting at diners.

In one exchange caught on video, one of the apparent pro-Palestinians yelled at diners, "Israel kills children and women every day!" After which one of the diners yelled back, "F*** you!" Soon what sounds like breaking glass is heard, and the clip ends.

The witness added to the station that several men from the caravan jumped out of their vehicles and asked male diners if any of them were "Jews" — and when two said they were, fighting broke out.

The mob of apparent pro-Palestinians easily outnumbered the diners, and at least two attackers were very large. One of the victims appeared to pick up a metal stand and tried to swing it at the mob, but several attackers converged on him and began punching him.

One of the diners — a photographer who is not Jewish — told KCBS-TV bottles were thrown at him and the group he was meeting with to plan a wedding.

The man said he was physically attacked when he tried to defend the group, the station said, adding that the attackers used anti-Semitic slurs and that he went to a hospital after being pepper sprayed.

KTLA said restaurant staff rushed patrons inside, locked the doors, and called police.

The suspects — who fled south on La Cienega in a vehicle described as possibly a black Jeep — were described as white men wearing all black, KCBS said.

The witness told KTLA the incident lasted about 15 minutes, and no one was taken into custody.

Authorities are investigating whether the incident was a hate crime, KCBS reported.

'Absolutely outrageous'

Video of the incident was sent to L.A. City Councilman Paul Koretz, who is Jewish, KCBS noted.

"It's absolutely outrageous," Koretz told the station. "We're not going to allow this in the city of Los Angeles."

The councilman came to the scene and said he would push for an investigation of the attack, KCBS reported.

"We're not going to bring the conflict from the Middle East here and allow people to be attacked on our streets because of what they look like and [how] they appear ethnically," Koretz noted to the station.

Pro-Palestinian activists have taken to the streets in West Los Angeles amid fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, KCBS said.
