Mike Heslin dead at 30, doctors have 'no explanation' for 'unexpected cardiac arrest' death of 'Lioness' actor in 'perfect health'

"Special Ops: Lioness" actor Mike Heslin died suddenly at the age of 30. The young celebrity was allegedly in "perfect health" before dying from an "unexpected cardiac arrest" that doctors have "no explanation" for.

Heslin's sudden death was confirmed in an Instagram post by his husband – Scotty Dynamo.

"On July 2nd, my husband, best friend, and soulmate Mike Heslin passed away from an unexpected cardiac event after a week long battle in the hospital," Dynamo wrote. "Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened."

"Michael was brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel. He single-handedly carried me through multiple rounds of cancer," said Dynamo – a YouTube personality born Nicolas James Wilson.

Dynamo said of the celebrity death, "Michael, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I felt you take your last breath, my heart shattered into a million pieces. If I had the power to trade places with you, I would do it in an instant. But I will take it one day at a time like you always told me to, and live every day in your honor."

Heslin allegedly was an organ donor who had "given the gift of life to four different families."

The Mayo Clinic defines sudden cardiac arrest as "the sudden loss of all heart activity due to an irregular heart rhythm. Breathing stops. The person becomes unconscious. Without immediate treatment, sudden cardiac arrest can lead to death."

"The most common cause of sudden cardiac arrest is an irregular heart rhythm called ventricular fibrillation," according to the Mayo Clinic. "Rapid, erratic heart signals cause the lower heart chambers to quiver uselessly instead of pumping blood. Certain heart conditions can make you more likely to have this type of heartbeat problem."

Risk factors that increase the chances for sudden cardiac arrest include a family history of coronary artery disease, smoking, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, and an inactive lifestyle.

The Mayo Clinic notes that sudden cardiac arrest is different than a heart attack – which is caused by a blockage and SCA is not.

Heslin was also known in the entertainment world for his roles in "The Holiday Proposal Plan," "Influencers," and "7 Deadly Sins."

The baseball world mourned the unexpected death of former Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Tim Wakefield. The noteworthy knuckleballer died on Sunday morning at age 57, according to multiple reports.

The MLB reported that Wakefield died from brain cancer.

Wakefield is survived by his wife, Stacy, and their children, Trevor and Brianna.

Stacy Wakefield is battling pancreatic cancer, according to Tim's former teammate Curt Schilling.

"This is not a message that Tim has asked anyone to share, and I don’t even know if he wants it shared, but as a Christian, and as a man of faith, I have seen prayer work, so I am going to talk about it," Schilling said on his podcast on Wednesday. "Tim’s wife Stacy, who is one of the nicest women you’ll ever meet, is very sick with pancreatic cancer. Recently, Tim was diagnosed with a very serious, a very aggressive form of brain cancer."

Tributes poured in for the beloved pitcher as former teammates reacted to Wakefield's sudden death.

The Boston Red Sox: "Our hearts are broken with the loss of Tim Wakefield. Wake embodied true goodness; a devoted husband, father, and teammate, beloved broadcaster, and the ultimate community leader. He gave so much to the game and all of Red Sox Nation."

Hall of Famer David Ortiz: "I can’t describe what you mean to me and my family, my heart is broken right now because l will never be able to replace a brother and a friend like you."

Legendary pitcher Roger Clemens: "Well…this is heartbreaking news. A great person, great teammate, and great golfing companion for many of our playing years. I told him many times playing along side [sic] of him what a great competitor he is. Hugs to his family and extended family. Miss you pal."

Former Sox infielder Kevin Youkilis: "He was a great competitor. When he took that mound, he was just a great teammate. And just a great friend. And I had the luxury to play with him on the field [and] on the booth. [I’m] just glad that I had the opportunity over the years to be alongside him."

Boston sportswriter Bob Ryan: "I am sadder than sad. Tim Wakefield has died due to a brain tumor at age. 57. He was real. He was CLASS. This is truly horrible news."

Red Sox owner John Henry: "Tim’s kindness and indomitable spirit were as legendary as his knuckleball. He not only captivated us on the field but was the rare athlete whose legacy extended beyond the record books to the countless lives he touched with his warmth and genuine spirit. He had a remarkable ability to uplift, inspire, and connect with others in a way that showed us the true definition of greatness. He embodied the very best of what it means to be a member of the Boston Red Sox and his loss is felt deeply by all of us."

The MLB: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Tim Wakefield, 19-year Major Leaguer, two-time World Series champion, 2009 AL All-Star, and the 2010 Roberto Clemente Award winner. Tim embodied the finest qualities as a teammate, a competitor, and a caring man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wakefield family and all who knew and loved Tim."

Wakefield announced his retirement in 2012, leaving the game with 200 wins under his belt. Wakefield helped the Red Sox win two World Series championships – in 2004 and 2007. He owns the Red Sox record for innings pitched (3,006) and most starts (430). Wakefield is regarded as one of the best knuckleball pitchers of all time.

Wakefield was the recipient of the 2010 Roberto Clemente Award recognizing "extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field."

Top Colorado Republican lawmaker died suddenly only days after turning 55, 'fiercely passionate' leader was 'adored'

Colorado House Minority Leader Hugh McKean died suddenly at his Loveland home on Sunday. He celebrated his birthday on Oct. 27, only days before his sudden death.

The Colorado House GOP caucus confirmed McKean’s "sudden" death.

"It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of House Minority Leader Hugh McKean," the official Twitter account for the Colorado House Republicans stated. "Hugh was fiercely passionate about serving the great state of Colorado and will be missed dearly."

"Hugh was fiercely passionate about two things in his extraordinary life; serving the great state of Colorado and spending time with his family, whom he adored — Aiden McKean, 21, Hanna McKean, 23, and his dearest partner and friend Amy Parks," the statement read, according to Colorado Politics.

"Hugh spoke about Coloradans not in the abstract but as real living people with jobs, loves, and real-life successes and problems," the statement continued. "Families facing hardships were not faceless pie graphs on a page to Hugh. He saw the faces of his own children, of his parents, long-time neighbors, and of Coloradans that he would always call friends. Public service wasn’t a 9-to-5 job for Hugh; he lived life believing good enough would never be enough for those who would live with the consequences of bad government."

"Funeral services are being planned and details will be made public once finalized," the statement concluded.

The cause of death was not immediately made public.

The Colorado Sun reported, "Roger Hudson, the caucus’ deputy chief of staff, said he was found dead Sunday morning after complaining of feeling unwell the day before."

Hudson added, "I adored this man. His loss is something I can’t even quantify for you."

Colorado Republican Party Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown remembered McKean, "Whenever I saw him or spoke to him, he had an encouraging word and was ready to lift others up. Whenever I think of Hugh McKean, I’ll think of his smile and his positive outlook on life.”

House Speaker Alec Garnett, a Democrat, said of McKean, "We will miss his kindness, the joy that he brought to the capitol every day, and the care that he showed every person he ever met. Hugh was the very definition of a statesman — a genuinely nice guy who always wanted the best for our state and his constituents. His integrity and the deep respect with which he treated every member of the House were a model for every lawmaker he worked with. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Democratic Caucus are with Leader McKean’s family and loved ones."

McKean was unopposed in the previous general election, which reportedly means that a vacancy committee comprised of Republicans in House District 51 will select his successor.

Tristen Nash – the son of WWE Hall of Famer of Kevin Nash – has suddenly died at age 26.

"Tristen recently starting working on Kevin's new podcast and the two enjoyed their time together," the statement continued. "The Nash family asks if you could please respect their privacy during this time."

The cause of Tristen Nash's sudden death has yet to be disclosed.

Last week, Tristen posted a photo of himself working with his wrestling legend father on Kevin Nash's new podcast titled "Kliq This." The Kliq was a group of wrestlers in the World Wrestling Federation during mid-1990s that included Kevin Nash, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.

Earlier this month, Tristen shared an Instagram post about his "beautiful future wife."

A few days later, he posted an Instagram photo of himself and Savanna Kern with the caption: "The best friend I could ever have. The love of my life and beyond brilliant. I love you so much Savanna."

On Sept. 12, Tristen reportedly called Savanna his fiancée.

Tristen was the only child of Kevin and Tamara Nash.

Fox News reported, "Upon the news that Tamara Nash was pregnant, Kevin Nash left WWE for World Championship Wrestling in 1996, according to Wrestling Inc. In December 2021, Kevin Nash shared a photo of him and his son Tristen at the Phoenix Zoo in 2000.

Tristen had tattoos expressing his love for his mom and dad on his fingers.

"Kliq This" podcast co-host Sean Oliver reacted to Tristen's death.

"I met a great young man this year named Tristen. He worked with me and his dad on a podcast we have, and proved to be smart, sweet, savvy, witty, and mature beyond his mere handful of years. There were big things coming for him, but it was not to be," Oliver wrote on Twitter. "The unfairness of our short time on earth rears it's ugly head again & we are rendered speechless. To steal a heart so pure, full of potential, is cruelty beyond understanding. Won't try. I have his last text to me: 'Love you.' I read it 50 times in 2 days &, T, I'm gonna read it a lot more."

The wrestling world offered condolences for the sudden death of Tristen.

WWE star the Iron Sheik wrote on Twitter, "KEVIN NASH MY HEART BREAK FOR YOU BUBBA. I LOVE YOU FOREVER."

'Pure' 17-year-old son and hopeful Broadway singer collapsed and died suddenly during choir event, 'shocked' family knows 'he's with Jesus'

A 17-year-old high school student and singer suddenly died as he was singing during a choir event last week, the boy's family said.

Daniel Moshi, a senior at Leyden High School, unexpectedly died on Oct. 14. The teen was reportedly singing a solo when he tragically passed away in Naperville, Illinois.

Moshi was performing in the All-State Honors Show Choir for the Illinois American Choral Directors Association at Naperville North High School when he became unconscious, according to WMAQ-TV.

"I got the call from his teacher, musical teacher. And she said there's an incident," said Daniel's father, Loden Moshi. "That he was singing his solo rehearsal and he collapsed. And now they've given him CPR and taken him to one hospital."

"They told us that while he was doing his solo, he just passed out," said his mother, Karolin Moshi. "He collapsed, and we don't know anything else."

The mother said she dropped off Daniel at school last Friday, but didn't notice anything peculiar with her son.

"Actually, I stopped by Starbucks right over here, where he grabbed his macchiato drink and his sandwich," the mother explained. "I dropped him off. And he was waiting for his teacher to come, you know, come up and pick him up with his other students that were attending this choir show."

At around 5 p.m., Daniel texted his mom to let her know that he was at the choir event.

Karolin Moshi recalled, "I texted him, 'I said everything good?' I have his text. He said, 'Yep, all good mom.'"

Less than two hours later, the family received the heartbreaking news.

Around 6:18 p.m., Naperville fire officials said they responded to an emergency call regarding an "unconscious" 17-year-old teen. Bystanders performed CPR on Daniel before the emergency workers arrived at the high school.

Daniel was rushed to Edwards Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of death has yet to be determined.

The DuPage County coroner's office said it was investigating the death.

Karolin Moshi stated, "We came home Saturday morning, I received a call from the DuPage coroner's office, and she said, 'Miss Moshi, I'm reaching out to you to let you know that there was nothing wrong with your son. His organs were all healthy, his heart – absolutely nothing wrong with him.'"

A spokesperson for Leyden High School issued a statement on Daniel's death, "This loss impacts our entire Leyden community. Our students and staff are grieving and our focus is on their well-being. We encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out to a trusted adult and our Student Services department is available to provide support. We are also asking everyone to look after each other during this difficult time."

Moshi's family said he had planned to attend college next year and dreamed of performing on Broadway.

Loden Moshi told WLS-TV, "We are devastated, shocked. We lost a 17-year-old son."

Karolin Moshi described Daniel as an "honest, so pure" and "lovable" teenager.

"You can see my eyes. I've been crying. I can't sleep. I haven't slept since Friday," Karolin said. "But it's... I don't know how to explain it ... we believe what we believe in. The Lord is keeping us going. It's not easy. We were supposed to buy him a car. We're actually doing his funeral."

"I don’t know how to explain it," the mother said of losing her son. "It's not easy. It’s not easy for any parent to go through this, because we still don’t have answers."

"He's with Jesus. I know that," Karolin added. "He's singing. He loved to sing for the Lord."

Daniel's younger sister, Danya Moshi, said of her brother, "He was amazing. If people have siblings, you need to have fun with them. Because if one of them goes away, you feel alone."

The St. Andrew's Assyrian Church in Glenview – where Moshi served as the alto lead singer – paid tribute to the teen.

"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear son Daniel Moshi, Saint Andrews choir alto lead singer," the church wrote on Facebook. "For a community of believers to lose a faithful member is difficult and a test of faith; for believing parents to lose a faithful child is beyond comprehension and stretches our limited senses of understanding. Daniel may not be with us on earth anymore and no 'word' can totally ease the pain of the loss, but the loss of Daniel on earth is assured to us to be singing to the 'Word' in Paradise."
