Biden-Harris campaign describes Trump as 'feeble, confused, and tired'

The Biden-Harris campaign issued a statement on Monday describing the incumbent president's top 2024 rival, former President Donald Trump, as "weak and desperate" as well as "feeble, confused, and tired."

"Donald Trump is weak and desperate — both as a man and a candidate for President," the statement declared. "America deserves better than a feeble, confused, and tired Donald Trump."

The Republican National Committee's RNC Research X account turned the tables by sharing footage of President Joe Biden and tweeting, "'Hey, Siri — show me an example of 'feeble, confused, and tired.''"

— (@)

Frank Luntz wrote in response to the Biden-Harris campaign's statement, "No longer the party of 'when they go low, we go high.'"

— (@)

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California retweeted Luntz, writing, "When they go low, we punch them with the truth. That's how we deal with liars and con artists."

"Well, when the party of Trump abandoned Lincoln, Reagan, and the Constitution, circumstances changed," former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, an outspoken Trump critic, tweeted.

Biden, who is the oldest president in U.S. history, would be 86 by the end of a second term in office. Trump, who is slightly younger than Biden, would be 82 by the conclusion of a second term if he wins election later this year.

Physician to the president Kevin O'Connor said in a memo earlier this year that Biden remains "fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations."

Mark Cuban schools House Democrat with basic economics lesson for claiming Trump is broke: 'How do I know? Math.'

Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban schooled Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) on Tuesday for falsely claiming that Donald Trump is broke.

Lieu, a far-left congressman, celebrated news that Trump cannot secure the $464 million bond required before he can appeal the New York civil fraud ruling against him.

Eschewing basic economic understanding, Lieu took the news to mean that Trump is broke.

"Trump claims he is a billionaire. But he can’t pay a $464 million judgement. That means he is lying. How do I know? Math," Lieu posted on social media.

— (@)

Lieu's post gained viral attention on X because it appears to demonstrate that he does not understand that liquidity is not the same thing as someone's net worth.

The fact is that Trump is a billionaire because his assets outweigh his liabilities. But that doesn't mean Trump has billions of dollars in cash stuffed in bank accounts, which anyone with basic money knowledge understands would be a financial sin.

On Tuesday, Cuban accepted the thankless task of helping educate Lieu.

"[Y]ou are wrong on this topic, Ted. Net worth is completely different than cash in the bank," Cuban began.

"We were in a zero interest rate environment for a long, long time. So keeping cash in the bank or even money markets was dumb. In fact, searching for yield is what killed small banks last year. Also dumb was keeping interest rates that low for that long," he continued.

— (@)

Cuban told Lieu that he could argue Trump is in this position because he "sucked at growing his net worth." But Cuban said that Lieu cannot argue that Trump is broke because the former president is unable to post the massive bond.

"On a more macro basis, Ted: Even if rates were along a long-term trend line for the past 10 years, few people are keeping more than 45% of their assets in liquid assets," Cuban explained. "And as far as the bond companies, Trump's assets are mostly interests in commercial real estate and foreign assets. No bond company is loaning against them in this commercial real estate market — if ever."

For his part, Lieu doubled down, arguing that because no underwriter backed the bond that means Trump "has neither the assets nor the liquidity that he claims he has."

But securing the bond is "a practical impossibility," said insurance broker Gary Giulietti.

Reps. Ted Lieu and Adam Schiff want to ban rodent glue traps

Democratic Reps. Ted Lieu and Adam Schiff of California are pushing a bill to ban the sale and use of glue traps to catch rodents.

"Glue traps are ruthless, inhumane, and can be dangerous to the health of humans and their pets," Lieu said, according to a press release. "There are numerous other ways to trap small animals that don’t prolong their suffering. As a proud member of the Animal Protection Caucus, I'm pleased to introduce this bill to stop the needless suffering of these animals."

The press release indicates that Schiff is an original cosponsor. He is currently running for U.S. Senate.

People responded to a post about the proposal on social media.

"Democrats won't secure the border or stop the human trafficking of the Mexican drug cartels, but they will propose laws to protect literal rats," Sean Davis tweeted.

"It's very comforting to know that our politicians are focused on protecting the well being and dignity of rats," Matt Walsh wrote.

"Man that’s okay with brutally murdering babies is now concerned with how we kill rodents, calling it 'inhumane,'" someone tweeted, along with a clown face emoji.

— (@)

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, supports the proposal.

"PETA thanks Rep. Ted Lieu for his compassion and leadership in introducing the Glue Trap Prohibition Act of 2024," PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said, according to Lieu's press release. "This crucial legislation can help protect vulnerable species of wildlife and save tens of thousands of small animals each year from being injured, permanently disabled, and killed by dehydration, injury or starvation in these primitive, cruel traps."

Fox News reporter shows how a House Democrat beclowns himself by trying to blame the border crisis on Republicans

Rep. Ted Lieu beclowned himself on Wednesday for trying to blame Republicans for the border crisis.

The California Democrat reposted to social media old headlines from the New York Times and USA Today about border issues that happened in 2019 under then-President Donald Trump's watch.

"Headlines about the border — Border at 'Breaking Point' More Than 76,000 Unauthorized Migrants Cross in a Month — New migrant caravan of 2,500 sets out for U.S." Lieu wrote, adding, "DATE? 2019[.] Did MAGA Republicans blame Trump? NO. Because Republicans aren’t interested in real solutions."

— (@)

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, who covers the border crisis, quickly pointed out the problem with Lieu's suggestion: if those numbers are problematic, just wait until you see what has happened under President Joe Biden's watch!

"This isn't the mic drop the congressman thinks it is," Melugin said.

"If 76,000 in one month was a 'breaking point' as described by NYT in 2019, I can’t wait to see what they write about the December we’re in now, as we are currently on pace to hit 300,000 in one month. We had 269k in Sept," he explained.

— (@)

Those numbers, in fact, are not anomalies.

According to Customs and Border Protection data, there have been on average roughly 200,000 migrant encounters at the southern border each month under Biden. That figure does not include "gotaways," the migrants who evaded capture.

In response to critics, Lieu suggested Republicans are not taking the issue seriously.

"If Republicans think this is such a crisis why did House Republicans recess and send us all home for more than three weeks?" he said.

But that is misleading. Republicans in the House and Senate would love to solve the border crisis. The problem, however, is that Democrats are reluctant to agree to any substantive changes to immigration policy. The House, therefore, recessed for the Christmas holiday because the partisan stalemate had zero chance of resolving itself before Christmas.

Gun control advocates, Dems turn on New Mexico governor over 'clearly unconstitutional' gun rights suspension

Even prominent gun control proponents are criticizing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's seemingly unconstitutional temporary ban on firearms.

The Democratic governor ignited a firestorm of controversy last week when she unilaterally suspended open and concealed carry laws for 30 days in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Despite admitting that she knows criminals will not abide by the order, Lujan Grisham justified it under the guise of "public health."

Typically, gun control proponents applaud efforts to regulate firearms further. But in this case, Lujan Grisham managed to upset even them.

"I support gun safety laws. However, this order from the Governor of New Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution. No state in the union can suspend the federal Constitution. There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution," Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) responded.

— (@)

David Hogg, a survivor of the Parkland high school massacre who advocates to pass gun control laws, agreed with Lieu.

"I support gun safety but there is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution," Hogg said.

— (@)

Not only are nationally known gun control proponents objecting to Lujan Grisham's order, but local officials oppose it and local law enforcement said they won't enforce it. That includes Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller, and Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina. Bregman and Keller are Democrats.

"As an officer of the court, I cannot and will not enforce something that is clearly unconstitutional," Bregman said. "This office will continue to focus on criminals of any age that use guns in the commission of a crime."

Gun rights advocates gathered in Old Town Albuquerque on Sunday and openly defied Lujan Grisham's order. No one was arrested, and it appeared her order was not enforced. The National Association for Gun Rights has also filed a lawsuit in federal court challenging the order. The governor said she is prepared to defend it in court.

Meanwhile, state lawmakers are threatening to initiate impeachment proceedings against Lujan Grisham, explaining that their oath to defend the Constitution demands they act to stop a governor who is "subverting the state and federal constitutions and laws of our state."

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu blames high temperatures on 'climate deniers'

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California has blamed hot weather on "climate deniers."

"Suffering from excessive heat? Blame a climate denier. Climate deniers were wrong. Scientists were right. You have the power to vote out elected officials who refuse to deal with facts, and vote in officials who understand we are in a climate crisis," Lieu wrote in tweets on Sunday and Monday.

— (@)

Actor Dean Cain responded to Lieu's post by urging people to vote the congressman out of office. "Please vote OUT @RepTedLieu," Cain tweeted.

"Someone tell Ted about summer," Kurt Schlichter tweeted.

"Let me be perfectly clear. There is not a thing that a politician can do that will change the future weather. If you think otherwise... you may be in a cult," tweeted Dr. Matthew Wielicki, who describes himself as "an expert in earth science."

Lieu is just one voice within a chorus of climate alarmists.

In a tweet last week, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blamed Republicans for the weather. "Hot enough for you? Thank a MAGA Republican. Or better yet, vote them out of office," Clinton tweeted.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres used the phrase "global boiling" while purveying climate alarmism last week. "Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning," he declared. "The era of global warming has ended," he asserted. "The era of global boiling has arrived. The air is unbreathable. The heat is unbearable. And the level of fossil fuel profits and climate inaction is unacceptable."

President Joe Biden has previously claimed that climate change "is the existential threat to humanity."

Discredited Democrats Attack Durham To Deflect From Their Own Tarnished Reputations

Durham made clear 'there is not a single substantive piece of information in the dossier that has ever been corroborated by the FBI.'

Democrats stage Bud Light photo amid backlash against woke beer brand

Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu of California posted a photo of himself and fellow California Democratic Reps. Mark Takano, Judy Chu, and Adam Schiff standing together with bottles of Bud Light beer.

The beer brand became embroiled in controversy because it enlisted Dylan Mulvaney, a man who identifies as a transgender woman, to advertise its product — the move sparked a groundswell of consumer outrage.

Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth issued a bland statement last week that did not directly address the issue but did say that the company "never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people." When Bud Light tweeted last week for the first time since April 1, the post was majorly ratioed.

"Worst party ever," actor Dean Cain tweeted in response to the photo of the lawmakers with Bud Light.

"Barf," New Mexico state Rep. John Block wrote, adding, "nailing the final nail in the coffin for @budlight trash beer."

"Telling me you've never drank @budlight without saying you never drank @budlight," former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker tweeted.

"This photo is more damaging to the brand than Dylan Mulvaney in the bathtub," Gerry Callahan tweeted.

"Congratulations Bud Light on completely losing your base," Caleb Hull tweeted.

"Dylan Mulvaney Democrats," Byron York of the Washington Examiner tweeted.

Lieu openly admitted that the photo was staged. "Wait, you actually thought there was a possibility that it was totally coincidental that all four of us chose to have Bud Lights, and have them face the camera, and then send the picture out during the middle of a stupid boycott by MAGA Republicans?" he replied to someone who suggested that it had been staged.
