Texas National Guard pepper sprays 'migrants' trying to cut through fence at border: Reuters video

Reuters on Tuesday posted a video on X that it said shows the Texas National Guard pepper spraying migrants who were trying to cut through a fence at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The clip — recorded Monday at Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, which is across the border from El Paso — shows five people at a heavily barbed-wired fence, a couple of whom use wire cutters to clip it. But they soon make their way down a hill away from the fence once they see authorities arriving, after which the video says guard members use pepper spray to disperse the migrants.

"Let's have MORE of this!! Good job!!"

Commenters on the video seemed squarely behind the guard members' actions:

  • "Good," one user reacted.
  • "About time," another commenter said.
  • "Let's have MORE of this!! Good job!!" another user declared.
  • "Good stuff," another commenter stated.
  • "Let me get the headline for you correctly: a group of criminals were thwarted as they attempted to cut barbed wire and illegally enter the U.S.," another user quipped.
  • "Sad that our own federal government will not defend the border," another commenter noted. "Thank God for Texas!"
  • "Good best news ever," another user said. "The last time there was a riot; no more."
  • "So nice to see an elected official actually enforcing the laws of the land!" another commenter reacted. "GOOD GOING TEXAS!!!!!!!!"
  • "Where's the problem? If what the migrants were doing is legal, then they would not have run away," another user observed. "They were trying to damage US property just like someone who spray paints graffiti on something that they don't own!"

Last week El Paso County Judge Ruben Morales dismissed riot participation charges against 211 illegal aliens caught on video in March rushing the southern border and shoving Texas National Guardsmen.

Morales said he was forced to drop the charges because the state failed to provide a transfer order to move the cases from district to county court and that his "hands [are] tied."

Judge drops riot charges against 200 illegal aliens who rushed border, shoved Texas troops: 'I don't have jurisdiction'

On Wednesday, El Paso County Judge Ruben Morales dismissed riot participation charges against 211 illegal aliens who were caught on video rushing the southern border and shoving Texas National Guardsmen, the New York Post reported.

According to Morales, he was forced to drop the charges because the state failed to provide a transfer order to move the cases from district to county court. He said that because of that, his "hands [are] tied."

"Our office feels very strongly that the procedure was proper," DA Bill Hicks said.

During her opening statements, public defender Kelli Childress argued that "processes were ignored here."

"If I don't have jurisdiction, there's nothing I can do on these cases [except dismiss them]," Morales stated.

On March 21, footage captured by the New York Post showed a massive group of illegal immigrants — primarily adult males — ripping down the concertina wire. A Texas National Guardsman is seen in the video trying to grab the downed wire to prevent the group from storming through the gap created in the fencing. The video shows several men from the mob ripping the fencing away from the serviceman and throwing it to the side. Moments later, the unruly mass shoves through the five guardsmen and runs up to Gate 36, a closed area of the border that is not a designated port of entry.

At the time of the incident, troops had been attempting to divide the large mob into groups so that the illegal immigrants could be taken into Customs and Border Protection custody, the Post reported. Eight individuals are in custody and facing additional felony charges for acting as instigators. A ninth male, a 22-year-old Venezuelan national, Gabriel Enrique Angarita Carrasquero, faces similar charges but was released by Border Patrol and remains at large. He is accused of assaulting a Texas National Guardsman, the Post reported, citing an internal federal memo regarding his case.

District Attorney Bill Hicks stated during a Thursday news conference that his office plans to appeal the judge's decision to dismiss the charges.

"Our office feels very strongly that the procedure was proper," Hicks said. "We argued that it was appropriate and proper and we feel very strongly that it was done properly and Morales' order is an inappropriate order."

The misdemeanor riot participation charges carried a maximum penalty of 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.

This is the moment when TX National Guard became overrun by migrants rioting to get across the border here in El Paso today\n\nWe were there and saw it all happen. Absolute chaos here.

Morales previously dropped cases against a large group of illegal immigrants who rushed the same area of the border on April 22. He claimed there was no evidence of "probable cause" to prove the individuals participated in a riot.

Hicks called for a grand jury of 12 El Paso citizens to decide on the case, arguing that Morales had refused to review additional evidence. The jurors indicted more than 140 illegal aliens on misdemeanor riot participation charges, effectively overruling Morales' judgment, Blaze News previously reported.

Hundreds of migrants hitch train ride to El Paso border — Texas prepares for another potential riot

Hundreds of migrants have hitched a ride on a train bound for the El Paso-Juarez border, with the first group arriving earlier this week, according to Border Report.

The train, referred to as "La Bestia," or "the Beast," is carrying an unknown number of foreign nationals hoping to seek asylum in the United States. It is also referred to as the "Death Train," because migrants risk their lives riding on top of and clinging to the side of the cargo cars.

The New York Post noted that the Mexican government has recently stopped cracking down on the train rides.

Some of the migrants who just arrived in Juarez plan to head to the port of entry in El Paso and make asylum claims, while others intend to enter the country illegally by crossing the Rio Grande River. Individuals wishing to claim asylum are supposed to schedule an appointment with the Department of Homeland Security through the CBP One app and then check in at a port of entry. However, many have chosen to avoid designated entry points and cross over illegally.

An 18-year-old Venezuelan national told Border Report, "I am traveling by myself and they're waiting for me in Florida."

"I left (Venezuela) on February 5 and I stayed in Mexico some time and the (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) appointment never came. […] I will go to the river and see what happens," he stated.

CBP agent Orlando Marrero-Rubio told Border Report, "Anybody that comes into our country between ports of entry, they're doing it in an illegal way, regardless of your immigration status. Even for United States citizens it's completely illegal to make an entry between ports of entry."

Reports of the large group of migrants riding on the train began surfacing on Tuesday, a law enforcement official told the news outlet.

In response to the incoming migrants, the Texas National Guard was issued nonlethal pepper ball ammunition, a National Guard source told the Post. In March and April, large groups of illegal migrants stormed the border, destroying barriers and pushing past law enforcement authorities. The illegal aliens outnumbered the National Guardsmen.

The Post reported that one migrant attempted to grab a guardsman's firearm during the March incident. Authorities confiscated knives and shanks from some of the individuals involved in the rush.

“These people were willing to assault military,” a source told the Post. “They were willing to assault law enforcement. They have complete disregard for our laws.”

Since then, additional troops have been deployed, and fencing has been reinforced.

WATCH: Massive swarm of illegal immigrants attacks Texas National Guard

After recent video footage from the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas, it’s become clear that America truly is being invaded.

The footage shows a swarm of over 100 illegal immigrants using force to overpower National Guard soldiers. The immigrants broke through razor wire and knocked down guards as they flooded into America.

While the Biden administration continues to claim that the border is secure, this footage has become proof that it's anything but.

Pat Gray and Keith Malinak are rightfully outraged, especially considering the migrants have been sold the idea that they won’t face repercussions because of this administration’s policies.

“If you’re an illegal alien and your goal is to get into this country, hell or high water, why would you not expect to just be able to barrel through? What has been demonstrated that you’re going to be stopped?” Malinak says.

While media outlets continue to call these people “migrants,” Gray doesn’t believe that’s right.

“If you’re a migrant, you came here legally,” he says.

“These are illegal aliens who don’t respect or care about our country or its people. They don’t care. They’re in it for them, and I guess we’re supposed to be okay with that,” he adds.

To see the footage, watch the clip below.

Find out where illegal immigrants are allowed to vote

According to the mainstream media and its loyal leftist followers, the great replacement theory is just another extremist, right-wing, MAGA, conspiracy theory.

But with everything happening because of our open border, Sara Gonzales is fairly confident that they’re wrong.

“It’s just that places like New York are already doing this in local elections. They are allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections,” Gonzales says.

Now, experts are warning that a loophole in Arizona’s election procedures may allow non-citizens to cast federal election ballots in the 2024 presidential election.

Arizona’s secretary of state, Adrien Fontes, crafted the election procedures manual to permit individuals with unverifiable citizenship to register as “federal only voters” in order to participate in federal elections.

Fontes, of course, happens to be a Democrat.

“This is happening,” Gonzales says angrily. “As much as they want to claim this is not happening, this absolutely is happening.”

“They are literally trying to create loopholes so that illegal immigrants can vote in federal elections,” she continues. “We’re talking about the Presidential Election. If you don’t think that this is what the whole master plan has been, I don’t know what to tell you at this point.”
