Mask off: Sam Harris’ Trump Derangement Syndrome revealed in fiery Ben Shapiro debate



Sam Harris was once a key thinker when it came to waking liberals up to the dangers of identity politics on the left. However, that has not stopped him from contracting a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, which he has tragically been unable to shake.

“My original claim, Sam, is that Donald Trump is very obvious in his excesses. Democrats and the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris are much more, I would say much more, subtle in their excesses,” Ben Shapiro said in a debate with Sam Harris on Bari Weiss’ “The Free Press” podcast. "But those excesses are no less dangerous for being more subtle, in fact, in some ways I think they are more dangerous."

“You can’t use a phrase like ‘no less dangerous.’ Hillary Clinton conceded in 24 hours. That is less dangerous than this continuous provocation that has gone on for years,” Harris responded, referencing Trump’s denial of the 2020 election results.



“I disagree with you,” Shapiro shot back. “I think that the attempt by members of the media, by Hillary Clinton who herself said that Donald Trump was illegitimately elected based on Russian interference in the 2016 election, was highly damaging.”

Harris then acted as though Clinton no longer says anything of the sort.

“She will still claim openly that there was manipulation that took place during the 2016 election,” Shapiro responded, while Harris repeated, “That’s not true.”

Harris then went on to make the case that “the sane thing to say is that there is continuous foreign interference in our elections.”

“Sam, now you’re proposing a double standard. When Hillary says it, it’s totally subtle and fine, and when Trump says it in the most obvious, foolish way, it’s totally different,” Shapiro said, stifling a laugh.

“You’re just missing the relevant details,” Harris concluded.

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is dismayed to see how bad Harris’ TDS has gotten, as Rubin once looked up to him.

“He’s not missing the relevant details. Hillary repeatedly, multiple times on Twitter and throughout the media, over the course of the four years of Donald Trump’s presidency, referred to him as illegitimate and said that the election was stolen,” Rubin says.

“They also had a sham impeachment, they had 51 intelligence officials who claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation,” he continues, noting Big Tech banned the story.

“You had an entire machine that was designed to destroy Donald Trump,” he adds.

In a shocking survey by the Barna Group, it’s been revealed that 32 million church-attending Christians are planning to sit this election out and not show up at the ballot box.

“There’s a really important data point in that Barna research, and it’s that it’s not just Christians that are sitting out, it is regular churchgoers, so it’s not just the people who culturally identify as Christians,” bestselling author and Daily Wire reporter Megan Basham tells Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show.”

But why is it happening?

“One, obviously, we have to acknowledge the abortion issue. I think the Republican Party’s conflicting messaging on this cycle has depressed enthusiasm a little bit,” Basham explains.


“But, there’s also something else that I think is more significant going on and that is the fact that a lot of this voter suppression, lack of enthusiasm, has been deliberately orchestrated by left secular foundations and billionaires,” she continues.

Basham believes “they have been working for the last few years to try to convince Christians, ‘Hey, you don’t need to vote. It’s not important that you play a part in the political process. In fact, it could be political idolatry.’”

One example is a Bible study curriculum called “The Afterparty,” which was created by David French, the editor in chief of Christianity Today, and a Democrat Party Duke Divinity professor.

“All three never-Trumpers, two of whom are supporting Kamala Harris openly,” Basham says. “They created this supposed political Bible study curriculum to go into conservative churches, conservative college campuses. There was an effort to get it on 185 conservative college campuses, and it teaches Christians that politics are really complex.”

“‘It’s not always clear who you should vote for, and what we really need to do is turn down the rhetoric, and, in fact, we don’t know how we should vote except on the issue of alleged racial injustice,’” she says, giving an example.

“It makes it pretty clear when you read the curriculum who they want you to vote for, and that curriculum is exclusively funded by hard left secular foundations, Rockefeller philanthropy advisers, and the Hewlett Foundation, which also backed Planned Parenthood and transgender initiatives for youth and things of that nature,” Basham explains, adding, “These are not Christians, and they are funding these kind of operations in order to, I would say, really suppress that Christian vote.”

Matt Walsh goes undercover; finds anti-racist cult members ‘truly believe’ they must ‘atone for their white sins’



If you’re white, then apparently, you’re a racist — at least according to the anti-racism social justice movement that’s taken knitting circles by storm.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh set out to discover why that is for his new film, “Am I Racist?” where he goes undercover as a “certified DEI expert” and gets incredible insight from the leaders in the anti-racism industry.

He was a little surprised with what he found — but not when it came to the leaders.

“I wasn’t really surprised by the grifter types and the things that they said was kind of what I expected them to say,” Walsh tells Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable.” “Although, still quite disturbing to sit in the room and hear it.”

“The people that are getting sucked into this scam, into this cult, I was a little surprised by the fact that many of them to me seemed more genuine than I thought,” he explains, adding, “They’re true believers.”

When he originally started out, he was under the impression that most of what these followers are doing is simply virtue signaling.

“I think it’s more like 10% virtue signaling and 90% they believe it,” he explains. “They really think that they need to do this somehow to atone for their white sins. And I guess I was surprised by that.”

“Do you think that the 90%, that they are trying to punish themselves or do you think they’re truly hopeful that somehow they’re going to be able to break out of this supposedly white supremacist system and do good for marginalized communities?” Stuckey asks.

“I think it’s a little bit of both, but I do think there’s a kind of spiritual component to it,” he responds. “You can only go so far psychoanalyzing these people, but I do think that they walk around with guilt.”

They carry a guilt that would otherwise be washed clean through belief in Jesus Christ, but instead it follows them everywhere they go, as they are often not religious.

So they’re following a new religion.

“If you don’t have that religion, if you’re a secular person, then I think you still have the guilt,” Walsh explains. “But you have no way of understanding it. You have no framework for understanding it. So I think that these kind of anti-racist grifters come along and they say, ‘OK, well, you’re feeling this way, and I’ll tell you why you’re feeling it.’”

“‘It’s because you’re white, and here’s all the things you can do with this burden of guilt that you carry to be relieved of it,'" he continues. "Then of course, after they do it, they’re given the bad news that ‘OK, well good job for doing that, but you’re still just as racist as you were before.’”

Ben Shapiro DESTROYS Jon Stewart: ‘He’s a cynical boob’ who ‘pretends he’s smart’



Times may change, but one thing remains the same.

According to Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report," that one thing is Jon Stewart.

“He still sucks," Rubin jokes.

Stewart recently took it upon himself to attack intellectual powerhouse Ben Shapiro — and he did not come out on top. The talk show host teed himself up by playing a clip of Shapiro commenting on Kamala Harris’ accomplishments.

This, Shapiro pointed out, was more of a lack of accomplishments.

“She’s never earned or won anything. Like, she was legitimately handed her original post in California state government because she was sleeping with Willie Brown, and then he backed her in the race for San Francisco,” Shapiro said in the clip.

“Okay 'Squeaks,'” Stewart commented sarcastically, adding, “I don’t know, guys, you’re being awfully subtle here.”

While he looked and sounded incredibly smug, what he actually accomplished was setting Shapiro up to destroy him.

“He’s 61 years old and still doesn’t know most basic things but pretends he’s smart by making the same obnoxious snarky faces my 10-year-old sometimes makes,” Shapiro says. “I am 5'9", and John Stewart is a midgetly 5'7". He’s also a complete cynical boob.”

“By this, I mean that his entire game is to ignore issues in favor of cheap insults. That’s literally what he does, like, all the time. There are never any arguments,” he adds before pulling his own clip of Stewart on CNN’s "Crossfire."

In the clip, Stewart yells at Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala, who were arguing differing views on the show, and tells them what they’re doing is ruining America.

“Stewart is largely responsible for having turned all of American politics into that exact same game,” Shapiro adds, disgusted.
