Glenn REACTS to Mike Pence, Asa Hutchinson TORCHING their 2024 campaigns in Tucker Carlson interviews

Two presidential campaigns went down in flames at the 2023 FAMiLY Leadership Summit broadcasted by Blaze Media while others seemed to take off.

Former governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson, was one of them.

In an interview on stage with Tucker Carlson, Hutchinson appeared to suggest that protecting children from trans medical “treatments” is not a big issue.

“Is it treatment to prevent him from going through the natural process of adolescence? How is that treatment? It seems not like treatment, it seems like something else,” Carlson was recorded asking Hutchinson regarding children who want to transition.

“Tucker, I hope that we’ll be able to talk about some issues —” Hutchinson said in response, before Carlson cut him off.

“This is one of the biggest issues in the country and I think every person in this room would agree that it is a central issue because these are children who are being altered permanently, and you can defend that alteration, that change if you like, but there’s really no debate about whether or not it’s permanent,” Carlson quipped back.

Mike Pence was another candidate who seemed to have torpedoed his campaign.

Carlson asked Pence why he is more concerned about providing tanks and funding to Ukraine than he is a degrading economy and sky rocketing suicide and crime rates in the United States.

“Well, it’s not my concern,” Pence responded, adding that “anybody that says we can’t be the leader of the Free World and solve our problems at home has a pretty small view of the greatest nation on Earth. We can do both.”

After that, Stu Burguiere, Pat Gray, and Glenn Beck don’t see much hope for Pence or Hutchinson’s campaigns.

“It was a really bad political soundbite,” Stu says of Pence.

“He also was booed,” Glenn adds.

However, there were standing ovations for Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Glenn believes Ramaswamy is “surprising everyone who watches him.”

“I love him,” Gray adds, “I haven’t heard a single viewpoint of his that I disagree with yet.”

Glenn REACTS to Tucker Carlson’s ANNIHILATION of Asa Hutchinson — 'I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like that'

Glenn Beck likens Tucker Carlson’s interview with Republican presidential candidate Asa Hutchinson to the Hindenburg disaster of 1937.

That’s how badly it went for Asa.

“At one point in America,” Glenn says, “hundreds and hundreds of people ... looked up into the sky” anticipating the successful descent of the gargantuan airship, but “29 seconds later, the entire Hindenburg was on the ground” in flames.

“I think that’s maybe what we saw today,” he chuckles in reference to Hutchinson’s interview that also crashed and burned in a matter of seconds.

“I don’t think I have ever seen anything burst into flames and die that fast,” Glenn tells "Fearless with Jason Whitlock" contributor Delano Squires.

Delano agrees and praises Tucker for getting straight to the question everyone wanted to know: Why did Hutchinson veto the Arkansas bill that banned gender-affirming care, including puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone therapy? Especially when he preaches against teaching transgenderism in schools and claims to believe that God created only two sexes.

Asa’s response to Tucker’s question was so poor that it may just tank his entire campaign.

“[Hutchinson] was saying, ‘Well, it’s the parents’ right to choose,”’ Glenn mocks, adding, “No! ... We don’t let Muslims come into the country and mutilate their children. That doesn’t make any sense at all.”

Stu agrees, calling Asa’s answer “sub-optimal.”

“He just doesn’t want to be involved in the culture wars,” Stu continues, but “culture war ... [are] what voters care about.”

If Asa’s pathetic response regarding sex transition for minors wasn’t enough to sabotage his interview, his comments about the border crisis were the final nail in the coffin.

Vivek Ramaswamy SLAMS Kamala Harris, labeling her ANTI-AMERICAN

There are a lot of adjectives that might be used to describe Vice President Kamala Harris, including incompetent, incessantly verbose, and, according to Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, “anti-American.”

“I don’t think the dividing line in our country is between Republicans and Democrats,” he tells Tucker Carlson.

“I think it’s between those of us who are pro-American, who believe in the ideals of this country ... and those of us who” can only be described as “anti-American,” he continues.

“The vice president's a great embodiment of this.”

Although Vivek quickly moves his speech in a more constructive direction, choosing not to dwell on the VP’s extensive list of shortcomings, it’s clear what he thinks about her.

And who can blame him?

Between reducing America’s origins to slavery and colonization to essentially facilitating human and drug trafficking via loose border policies (plus a whole lot more), Vivek doesn’t need to explain why he thinks Kamala Harris is anti-American.

She’s proved it all by herself.

'Blustery coward who plays the tough guy': Tucker Carlson and Chris Christie trade barbs

Fresh off hosting The Summit – where Tucker Carlson took on several noteworthy Republican politicians – the former Fox News anchor took aim at Chris Christie.

Two days after The Summit, presented by Blaze Media, Carlson mounted a counterattack on Christie – who said Tucker has "always been wrong" about the Ukraine war.

On Sunday, Christie appeared on "This Week" and attacked Carlson for his apprehension of any excessive involvement in the Ukraine war by the United States.

"This Week" host George Stephanopoulos asked Christie how he would have responded to Carlson's questions about the Ukraine war that he presented to several of the GOP presidential candidates during The Summit – the first presidential forum of the 2024 primary season.

Stephanopoulos asked, "If you were being pressed on Ukraine like that, how would you have responded?"

Christie responded, "I would have said, 'You've always been wrong about this, Tucker, and you're still wrong.'"

The former Republican governor of New Jersey continued, "That, in fact, what’s going on, George, is that this is a proxy war with China. The Chinese are funding the Russian war by buying Russian oil. They're coordinating with the Iranians to provide lethal weapons to the Russian army."

"And we can decide when to have this conflict. Right now the Ukrainians are willing to fight this fight for themselves if they have our support to be able to win it," Christie added. "If the Chinese watch us back away from Ukraine, as Tucker Carlson and others would advocate, believe me, the next move will be Taiwan."

Carlson responded to Christie's comments on Twitter. The conservative commentator shared a screenshot of a Mediaite article with the headline: "'You’ve Always Been Wrong About This, Tucker' Chris Christie Pummels Carlson Over His Opposition to Ukraine."

Carlson hit back, "Sounds like this could use a longer conversation. We just asked @GovChristie to sit down and explain his views on Ukraine. He refused."

Tucker wrote, "You hate to think that Chris Christie is a blustery coward who plays the tough guy with sycophants at ABC but won’t answer real questions, but who knows? We hope he reconsiders."

At the time of publication, Christie had not responded to Carlson's tweet or invitation.

Christie is a Republican presidential candidate for 2024. According to Real Clear Politics polling data, Christie only sits at 2.6%.

When asked by Stephanopoulos about winning the GOP nomination, Christie said, "Through Donald Trump. There's no other way to do it, George. There’s not a separate lane or a – you know, we’ve heard these conversations before in presidential races. In this Republican primary there is one lane to the nomination, and that lane is right through Donald Trump. He's at the head of it."

"And you have to make the case against Donald Trump and convince Republican primary voters two things," Christie said. "One, that he is not electable, and he will not beat Joe Biden. He's lost to him before and would lose to him again, and probably Joe Biden would bring a Democratic House and Senate with him. And, two, that his record doesn't merit him to be the nominee again given all the failures, both personal and policy, that he's had."
