Glenn Beck: How Trump can DESTROY Biden at tonight’s debate

The first 2024 presidential debate is tonight, and the mainstream media will likely do everything in its power to insist that Joe Biden won the debate.

Glenn Beck has his own theory as to how Donald Trump can make the media’s job harder than ever.

“Now, Donald Trump could come in and debate with Joe Biden,” Glenn says. “I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t debate with Joe Biden.”

Why? Because what Joe Biden and his disastrous policies have done to the American people is felt by everyone.

“I’m just telling you right now, the American people cannot take it any more. The American people cannot afford these kinds of decisions coming again,” Glenn explains. “Why did all of this happen? Because of his policies. So don’t ask me to debate him on any of these things. He’s so wrong, it’s not worth anyone’s time.”

Rather, Glenn believes Trump should simply address what he will do to actually help the American people.

“Here’s what I promise the American people: Your inflation is going to take a while to turn around, but I agree it exists. This man told you it didn’t exist. It exists and it’s dire,” Glenn says from Trump’s perspective.

“I’ve done it before. I have created jobs, I have helped you, and you know the best way the president can create jobs? Get out of the way. This president creates jobs that are all in the United States government. I’d like to make the unemployment in the United States government high. I would like to make the employment rate for citizens of this country very low,” he continues.

Instead of arguing with Biden, all Trump needs to do is focus on the facts.

“I would just talk about gas prices, food prices, jobs, no matter what the question is. These are the actual facts,” Glenn says.

“Free the people to work the way they want to work. Reduce all of these ridiculous climate changing, global warming, all these special favors to unions, let people work and create. Let them choose the path and design their own life. It’s their life, not the life of the government of the United States of America,” he continues, noting that Trump should also mention what this government has been doing to him.

“I’m only getting hammered the way I am because I am the biggest obstacle standing in the globalists' way.”

Liberals turn on their own after Chuck Todd points out 70% of Americans don't want Biden to run again

NBC News' Chuck Todd has been pilloried by Democrats online for daring to confront viewers with the reality of President Joe Biden's unpopularity.

Todd, the host of "Meet the Press," detailed the findings of a recent NBC News survey of 1,000 adults, conducted April 14-18.

The survey found that 54% of respondents disapprove of the job Biden is doing as president, up from 50% in January.

When asked to rank their feelings of Biden, 38% of respondents indicated that they had a "very negative" impression and another 10% said they had a "somewhat negative" impression. Only 17% of respondents said they had a "very positive" feelings about the Democratic president.

Democratic pollster Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research told NBC News, "President Biden’s numbers are not where they need to be at this stage."

Todd zeroed in on how 70% of respondents, including 51% of Democrats, said that Biden — the oldest president ever to take office — should not run for re-election in 2024.

By way of comparison, 60% of prospective voters, including roughly 33% of Republicans, said that former President Donald Trump should not run again for office.

Roughly half of those who don't want Biden to run again suggested age was a "major" factor behind their reasoning.

In addition to his routine gaffes, missteps, and tumbles, Biden has explicitly invited scrutiny over his waning vitality.

Biden told MSNBC's "The Sunday Show" in October, "I could drop dead tomorrow."

"In terms of my energy level, in terms of how much I am able to do, I think people should look and say, 'Is he still have the same passion for what he's doing?' And if they think I do and I can do it, then that's fine," he said. "If they don't, they should vote against me."

The new NBC News poll indicated that many voters might do just that.

When asked who they would vote for if Biden ultimately ran for re-election — an announcement expected later this week — 21% of respondents suggested they would "definitely vote for Biden," 20% said they might vote for Biden, and 47% of respondents indicated they would vote for the Republican candidate.

Todd told NBC's "Sunday Today" that Biden's flagging support and apparent undesirability among voters, including Democrats, is "not because of his policies, it’s simply because of questions about his physical ability to do it and his current age."

The "Meet the Press" host noted that "the thing that is most striking in our poll is how much Republicans are rallying around Donald Trump. ... You have 70% of Republican primary voters tell us, basically, that these charges against Donald Trump mean that it’s more important to rally around Donald Trump rather than giving them a choice that says, you know, he was a good president but these could be distractions in defeating Joe Biden. Only one in four Republican primary voters believe that."

After Todd suggested that America wasn't keen on maintaining a gerontocracy helmed by one of two relatively unpopular candidates, leftist Twitter directed its collective anger his way.

The Wrap reported that various Biden supporters and other Democrats accused Todd of spreading ageism, Republican propaganda, and fake news.

One user tangled up in a thread questioning Todd's credibility wrote, "Chuck Todd should be fired! I do not believe this poll. I do believe his age might be an issue for some. I think he’s accomplished so much for this country."

For having reported on the survey results, one user called for Todd to be muzzled.

Howard Altman, a Twitter user who peddles foul screeds about Trump, wrote, "Screw you, Chuck Todd, and screw you Me-lennials. The people who vote, the people you deride as 'the establishment' I want Biden/Harris, and they will win."

“"There are only 6% of Americans that would like to see both Trump and Biden run." - @ChuckTodd on a new @NBCNews poll. “It looks like both parties are about to nominate two people that the country doesn’t want to have, and there are going to be unintended consequences to that.””

While immensely unpopular, recent polls suggest Biden remains the Democratic front-runner.

The latest Harvard-Harris poll has Biden up 27 points over Vice President Kamala Harris. Bernie Sanders is a distant third, neck-and-neck with Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Elizabeth Warren are even further behind.

NFL Hall of Famer Tony Dungy, foster father to over 100 children, to headline 2023 March for Life

Esteemed NFL coach and former professional defensive back Tony Dungy will be addressing pro-lifers at this year's March for Life. Dungy, a devoted Christian and father who has made no secret of his support for life, will be able to speak from experience that no child is "unwanted."

After all, he and his wife of 40 years are parents to eight adopted children between the ages of 6 and 21. They have fostered over 100 children over the past three decades, three of whom are presently in their care.

Pro-football and pro-life

Dungy assumed his first head coaching role in 1996 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and racked up 148 total victories over the next 13 seasons, including seven years with the Indianapolis Colts.

According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Dungy's overall record as a head coach was 148-79-0, with a .668 winning percentage in the regular season. He was named NFL coach of the year in both 1997 and 2005.

In 2007, Dungy became the first black head coach to win the Super Bowl. He noted at the time that he was proud of the historic achievement, but "more than anything, [Chicago Bears coach] Lovie Smith and I are not only African-American but also Christian coaches, showing you can do it the Lord's way. We're more proud of that."

Despite the gains he made and the lives he changed on the gridiron, Dungy's greatest achievements appear to have been at home.

The coach told Air1 in September that people "can have an influence in their world in a lot of different ways."

The coach and his wife, Lauren, an early childhood education specialist, have exercised their influence, in part, by opening the doors of their home to human beings whom abortion advocates might otherwise have seen fit to throw away.

"It's been a rewarding experience,” said Lauren. "We've been fostering for over 30 years and currently we have three children in our care. And, along with the fostering, we have adopted children as well."

Lauren added, "We have eight kids under our roof that are adopted – ages 21 to 6 – ... so it’s been a busy household, but we enjoy it. It's a blessing, and we believe that we’re being obedient to God’s calling on our lives."

In a separate interview, Lauren told NBC's "Today Show," "We made that decision early on that when we were going to foster children, we wouldn't say 'no,' because we know the children are in crisis and they need a home. They need stability. They need love. So we opened our doors to the kids, and we've had over 100 children walk through our door."

Coach Dungy supports life in action and in words.

He tweeted on Sept. 9, "Respect life. 'Thou shalt not kill.' Exodus 20:13. Babies in the womb are life. 'I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.' Jeremiah 1:5 NLT."

After reiterating that unborn children's lives are "covered by the 6th Commandment" (i.e., "Thou shalt not kill"), Dungy noted, "When God tells a woman 'you have two boys growing in your womb' it's pretty obvious he's describing unborn babies and talking about what they’re going to do in the future. I don’t see God saying to Rebecca 'If you don’t like that plan please end their life right now.'"

“@Xtianwanderer @adamdavidson The Bible doesn’t have to address abortion if the fetus growing inside the mother is a life. If it’s a life it is covered by the 6th Commandment. If it’s just tissue then there’s no need for discussion.”
— Tony Dungy (@Tony Dungy) 1657496661

Coach Dungy minced no words when someone on Twitter intimated that abortion was a solution to "unwanted black children."

Dungy replied, "Get the men to stand up and help make those children wanted."

2023 March for Life

When Dungy's involvement in the 50th annual March for Life was first announced, former New England Patriots tight end and Super Bowl champ Benjamin Watson expressed his excitement online, to which the coach replied, "Benjamin I appreciate your commitment to protecting vulnerable lives and I look forward to walking with you!"

If this year's turnout is anywhere as large as it was for the 2022 March for Life, Dungy and Watson will be marching together with hundreds of thousands of others.

This march "emphasizes the need in the absence of Roe v. Wade for pro-life advocates to continue boldly marching in defense of the unborn – both on the state and federal level – and advocating for a minimum federal standard to protect innocent life against radical pro-abortion legislation."

According to the event website, "Sadly, the number of abortions annually is still well over 900,000 each year, and that number is expected to decrease only by roughly 200,000 each year in a post-Roe America."

Despite recent victories advancing the cause of life and making it harder to discard human beings in America, abortionists and eugenicists have mounted a substantial rearguard action.

A Georgia judge overturned a bill banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy in November. In a 3-2 decision, the South Carolina Supreme Court struck down a similar law this week.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved certified pharmacies to distribute abortion pills earlier this week – drugs that previously could only be ordered, prescribed, and dispensed by a certified health care provider.

Dungy will speak on Jan. 20 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Paul Pelosi answered door when police arrived, then walked back toward his assailant and away from officers, didn't tell cops he was in danger: NBC News

NBC News reported new details about the moments when police officers arrived at the home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi. Strangely, Paul Pelosi answered the door, but did not inform officers that he was in danger, according to a new report. Instead of retreating to police officers, Pelosi reportedly walked back to the alleged home invader – who was wielding a hammer.

David DePape, 42, is accused of breaking into the San Francisco home and attacking Pelosi with a hammer.

During the home invasion, Pelosi was reportedly able to go to the bathroom – where his cell phone was charging – and call 911.

"Uh, he thinks everything's good. Uh, I've got a problem, but he thinks everything's good," Pelosi told the 911 dispatcher – who suggested that he call back "if he changed his mind."

Pelosi responded, "No, no, no, this gentleman just, uh, came into the house, uh, and he wants to wait for my wife to come home."

"He's telling me I'm being very lazy, so I've got to stop talking to you," Pelosi said to the dispatcher. "No, he wants me to get the hell off the phone."

Court documents said DePape "threatened to tie up Mr. Pelosi about 10 times."

Police responded to a "high-priority call" and arrived at the home at 2:27 a.m. last Friday.

NBC News reported, "Officers were unaware that it was the home of the House speaker."

Police purportedly performed a "knock and announce." Pelosi opened the door for the officers.

"The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or try to leave his home," according to NBC News. "But instead, he began walking several feet back into the foyer, toward the assailant and away from police."

The sources noted that police did not know if Pelosi was already injured or what his mental state was.

An officer asked the two men what was going on in the home.

According to court documents, DePape smiled and said, "Everything's good."

Seconds later, a struggle ensued, and then DePape hit Pelosi in the head with the hammer, according to police. Cops quickly tackled DePape.

Pelosi was reportedly lying in a puddle of his own blood after the hammer attack. He was unconscious for about three minutes, according to court documents.

Pelosi was rushed to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and was diagnosed with a fractured skull. Pelosi was released from the hospital on Thursday, six days after the attack.

Authorities say Pelosi and DePape were alone inside the San Francisco home for 30 minutes before police arrived. Nancy Pelosi was in Washington, D.C., at the time of the attack.

Court documents stated that there were Ring security cameras "everywhere" at the Pelosi home in Pacific Heights.

The break-in was allegedly captured by video cameras that are usually monitored by Capitol Police, but officers were not watching the live feed at the time of the home invasion of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

The Washington Post reported, "The officer in D.C. quickly pulled up additional camera angles from around Pelosi’s home and began to backtrack, watching recordings from the minutes before San Francisco police arrived. There, on camera, was a man with a hammer, breaking a glass panel and entering the speaker’s home, according to three people familiar with how Capitol Police learned of the break-in and who have been briefed on or viewed the video themselves."

On Wednesday, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said access to some of the evidence, like police bodycam video and Pelosi's 911 call, would not be released to the public, but instead would be "limited" to family members.

"That meeting is happening today, so limited members are able to view that footage so that they can have certain questions in their mind answered. But it’s a very limited number of family members, and that should be going on as we speak," Jenkins told CNN.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked Jenkins if it is in the "public's interest" to release evidence in the case to the public.

Jenkins responded, "For us, revealing that evidence through the media is just not what we think is appropriate. We want to make sure that this individual is held accountable for these egregious acts. For us, we’re going to make sure that we limit the evidence as much as possible in order to get that done," she added.

DePape was charged by the state with attempted murder, residential burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, false imprisonment of an elder, and threats to a public official and her family.

According to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Northern District of California, DePape is also facing federal charges, with one count of assault of an immediate family member of a United States official with the intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties, which has a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. He is charged with one count of attempted kidnapping of a United States official on account of the performance of official duties, which has a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

DePape pleaded not guilty to the state charges. He is being held without bail.

Even babies in the womb may hate green vegetables: Study

Researchers in England may have confirmed that babies don't like green vegetables even before they're born.

A new study offers a look at how unborn children respond to what their moms eat and how they react to different flavors in utero.

About 100 pregnant women in the U.K. were given capsules containing powdered versions of either carrots or kale. Thirty-five women consumed the equivalent of one medium carrot, 34 women ate the equivalent of 100 grams of chopped kale, and the remaining 30 were a control group who didn't eat either.

After 20 minutes, doctors used 3D ultrasounds to study the facial reactions of the babies as they began to taste what their moms ate. Babies whose mothers ate carrots mostly had happy expressions, while those who tasted kale frowned or grimaced.

"We are the first ones who could actually show on an ultrasound scan the facial expressions in relation to the food which the mother has just consumed," study co-author Dr. Nadja Reissland told NBC News. She is the head researcher at the Fetal and Neonatal Research Lab at Durham University.

The women in this study were 32 to 36 weeks along in their pregnancies.

Reissland said the ultrasound images suggest babies at that stage of development had similar reactions as adults who taste something bitter, but it's unknown whether they have emotional likes and dislikes as adults do.

The grimacing faces in the ultrasounds "might be just the muscle movements which are reacting to a bitter flavor," Reissland said.

But she noted that unborn babies are known to make faces.

"If you look at it from 24 to 36 weeks’ gestation, their expressions become more and more complex," Reissland said.

She told NBC News that powdered kale and carrots were selected over juices or raw vegetables to make sure each participant ate the same number of calories. Capsules were used because some expecting mothers hated the taste of kale and the researchers didn't want their negative reactions to influence their unborn children.

"I had a number of people in the lab, and I tried to give them a kale juice to drink, and you should have seen the expressions," Reissland said.

The capsules also helped preserve the flavor of the vegetables as they were digested.

"The bitter flavor gets into the small intestines and then into the mother’s blood and then into the placenta and the amniotic fluid," she added. "This process seems to take around 20 minutes, and what you then get is a specific reaction of the fetuses to that flavor."

The researchers hope that by understanding how babies respond to different flavors in the womb, they can suggest diets for mothers that will help their children tolerate different foods when they are young.

"If we can actually get [children] to like green vegetables and to perhaps not like sweets that much, it might help with regard to their weight gain and their weight balance," Reissland said.

The study was featured on the "Today" show, where the co-hosts gushed over the faces the babies made.
