Top 3 behind-the-scenes moments from Glenn Beck’s interview with President Trump

Glenn Beck just got back from Washington, D.C., where he became the first member of the media to interview President Trump about his first 100 days in office. Their conversation was expansive, jumping from one hot topic to the next.

However, off camera, there were just as many exciting things going on. On a recent episode of “The Glenn Beck Program,” Glenn shared the best behind-the-scenes moments he shared with President Trump.

1. Solo in the Oval Office

“[President Trump] left me alone with my wife in the Oval Office for like five minutes,” he tells co-host Stu Burguiere. “I was alone with the Declaration of Independence. I mean it was incredible.”

“He said, ‘Nobody sits in here without the president,’” and “I said, 'I'm aware of that,’ and he said, ‘But I knew you'd want to look at everything, so I thought you'd be more comfortable if you were here by yourself,”’ Glenn recounts, calling the experience “fantastic.”

2. Personal White House tour

Even though Glenn was allotted a strict 40 minutes for the interview, as President Trump had a meeting with the National Security Council to get to, that didn’t stop the president from taking Glenn on a personal tour of the White House.

Just as White House aides were trying to usher Trump out of the interview and into the meeting, where high-ranking officials were waiting for him, he said, “Let them wait.”

“He takes us through the entire White House room by room, shows us all of the meanings behind things — all the amazing things that nobody knows about the White House,” says Glenn.

The tour even included a trip to the Lincoln Bedroom, which can only be given by the president of the United States.

Glenn says the room was “a time capsule,” complete with the famous massive rosewood bed, a spooky painting of Lincoln said to be his favorite portrait of himself, an enormous mirror, eight feet by four feet, and a writing desk where one of four copies of the Gettysburg Address resides.

3. The REAL Trump

While the media goes to great lengths to paint him in every negative light it can conjure up, the truth is that Donald Trump is “always energized,” personable and caring, a brilliant historian, and, most importantly, “still humble,” says Glenn.

At one point, President Trump said to him, “Every day, Glenn, I wake up and I say to myself, 'I can't believe I'm in this house.'"

Trump’s First 100 Days: 3 key moments from Glenn Beck’s exclusive interview

Yesterday, Glenn Beck sat down for an exclusive interview with President Trump to review his first 100 days in office. Glenn is the first member of the media to conduct a 100-day retrospective interview, offering a unique window into the administration’s rapid progress.

It should come as no surprise that the duo broached a wide range of topics. From his unprecedented number of executive orders — 130 in just three months! — to the equally unprecedented number of injunctions he’s faced from a rogue judicial system, tariffs, the DOGE, and the border, a lot has happened in a short window.

But that’s what President Trump promised. He pledged to fix America quickly, and every day, he delivers on that promise more. The pace at which his administration is moving is indeed shocking and awe-inspiring.

This exclusive interview captures the energy and determination driving these historic first 100 days, revealing key insights into Trump’s vision and leadership.

Here are the top three moments from President Trump’s conversation with Glenn.

EXCLUSIVE: President Trump on 'Judicial Insurrection,' Tariffs, and 100 Days in Office | Ep 429 youtu.be

1. Congress and codification

When Glenn asked President Trump about his extensive executive orders, which have addressed immigration, government reform, the economy, national security, energy, and cultural issues, he said, “There were just so many things the country needed” after Biden’s destructive term.

Isn’t that the truth?

Yet there’s a growing angst about getting these executive orders codified by Congress. Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” aims to codify key policies, especially those related to border security, energy production, taxes, and deregulation, but its budget focus limits its scope, and GOP infighting between fiscal hawks and moderates has slowed the process.

However, President Trump told Glenn not to worry and expressed faith in Republicans, especially considering their seven-seat majority in the House, which gives them enough votes to pass the bill if they stay united.

“We’re going to codify, and we’re going to wait until after the bill has passed, and then we’re going to work on nothing but codifying,” he said.

2. Judicial insurrection

Glenn reminded us that Bill Clinton deported 12.3 million people; George W. Bush deported 10.3 million people and had six injunctions against him; Barack Obama deported 5.5 million people and had 12 injunctions against him.

But Trump, not even 100 days into his second term, faces more lawsuits than Clinton, Bush, and Obama combined.

“You’re 100 days in, and you have 190 cases against you,” said Glenn.

“It’s obstruction,” Trump agreed, condemning Democrats for trying to protect MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom they’ve painted as an innocent victim.

Regardless of the unprecedented judicial pushback that’s making deportations “so much more difficult than it should be,” Trump expressed confidence. “We’re getting it done, and we’re winning.”

3. Powering the AI revolution

“I think you’re going to be remembered as the AI president,” said Glenn.

“You are the first one to really talk about, really take it on.”

“AI is certainly very important, and we’re pressing it very hard. We have trillions of dollars being invested,” Trump said. However, AI takes “massive amounts of electricity,” more than “we have right now in our country.”

Even though it’s an enormous obstacle, Trump says he’s got a plan.

"We’re going to let them build their own electric plants,” he said, noting that “they can use nuclear [power] if they want.”

“We’re going to get it done very quickly,” he added.

“I call it a national emergency,” but “we’re going to be number one.”

Donald Trump shares the plans he has for Elon Musk if he’s elected in exclusive Glenn Beck interview

Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump joined Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck for an exclusive interview. Among the subjects the duo discussed were Kamala’s dramatic policy reversals — especially when it comes to the border — who’s really calling the shots in the White House (not Joe Biden), and the reported falling out between Harris and Biden following the president’s ousting.

They also conferred about Elon Musk, who’s been a welcome addition to the Trump campaign. Glenn asked Trump if he was serious about utilizing the Tesla/SpaceX/X owner if he’s elected.

“Oh sure,” said Trump, calling Musk “a great businessman.”

“He feels that there's tremendous fraud, waste, and abuse. ... He could save a lot of money and make lives better,” Trump continued.

He explained that while Musk “doesn’t want to be in the Cabinet,” as he’s “got so many things going on,” he has expressed interest in a role “having to do with the budget.”

“He’s good at finding [waste],” said Glenn, pointing to “the way he runs his companies” as a testament to his savviness.

“He’s maybe the best at finding that,” Trump agreed.

“It really is such a statement that he's probably the most effective person on the planet of looking over the horizon and then bringing tomorrow into today, and the left, because he likes you ... they will shut him down,” Glenn added.

“They’ll try, but he’s hard to shut down because he’s so advanced. He’s on a different playing field,” Trump praised, adding that shutting Elon down was going to “shut the country down essentially.”

Donald Trump was RIGHT — Kamala & her cronies FAKED a race fight

Democrats and the mainstream media’s smear campaign against Donald Trump continues, as cries of “Trump is racist!” echo from all corners of the nation.

What “racist” thing did Trump do this time?

He pointed out that Kamala Harris only started to emphasize her black heritage over her Indian heritage when it was convenient for her political career.

Which is absolutely true.

Glenn Beck plays two clips of Harris — one from 2019 when she was running for president and one from 2020 when she was nominated as Joe Biden’s running mate.

Donald Trump Was RIGHT. Kamala & Her Cronies FAKED a Race Fightyoutu.be

In the first clip, Harris meets with actress Mindy Kaling, who is of Indian heritage.

“I see Indian people at the supermarket on the street, everyone's like, ‘You know Kamala Harris is Indian, right?’ It's like our thing we're so excited about to have you running for president,” Kaling said, noting that both she and Harris are “South Indian.”

The entire time Kaling is talking, Harris is furiously nodding and grinning, saying “yes” over and over again.

In the second clip from 2020, Harris, standing at a podium, says in her best politician’s voice, “Today, on August 15, 2020, I stand before you as the first candidate for vice president of the United States of South Asian descent.”

These are just two receipts from Kamala’s past where she’s openly identified as Indian.

But as you know, her tune has changed for this election. Now Harris is identifying as a black woman because it’s advantageous to her campaign. However, when Donald Trump pointed out the flip-flopping, Kamala and her media cronies cried, “Racism!”

The truth is, “She's Jamaican Indian,” says Glenn, “and there's nothing wrong with that, except she uses it to play on constituents. That's the only thing Donald Trump was saying.”

“She said she was Indian when she was needing the Indian vote, and then she's black when she needs the black vote,” he notes.

Trump gave some 'weak sauce' answers on abortion, and Megyn Kelly is NOT having it

Former President Donald Trump was interviewed by Megyn Kelly last week, and his answers turned a lot of heads.

While his condemnation of Governor Ron DeSantis’ Florida heartbeat bill as a “terrible mistake” was one of his most controversial statements, he also seemed to dodge Kelly on some issues that are incredibly important to Republican voters.

“Can a man become a woman?” Kelly asked Trump, to which he responded: “In my opinion, you have a man, you have a woman.”

“I think part of it is birth. Can the man give birth? No, no. Although they’ll come up with some answer to that also someday,” he continued.

Kelly was not pleased with his answer. “I thought it was weak sauce,” she tells Glenn Beck.

She explains that the answer should be “obviously no,” adding, “and it’s not determined based on who can give birth. It’s determined by God and it’s pretty obvious just as soon as you come out of the womb. That’s the way it’s always been.”

Glenn believes this is Trump’s way of securing independent voters, as he’s already winning in the polls and may not be worried.

“I think he looks at the poll numbers and thinks there’s, I mean, ‘I’m going to win, so why not start a moderate campaign now because I’m going to win the primary,’” he says.

While both Kelly and Glenn note this could be a losing strategy, they’re also aware that just his presence alone will drive voter turnout.

“He’s Trump, and there’s something about him that, you know, his core constituency finds very appealing, and you know that 30% isn’t going to abandon him, even if he comes out and says he wants abortions in the ninth month,” Kelly says.

While he’s obviously not going to come out in support of late-term abortions, Kelly believes that “he’s really more banking on the fact that he appointed the three justices who made the difference on Roe v. Wade and he’s not going to lose any Republican voters to Joe Biden on the issue of abortion.”

“He’s playing the long game,” she adds.

Donald Trump tells Glenn why he’s CERTAIN a campaign from jail will NOT happen

Glenn calls Donald Trump “the most persecuted man in ... American history,” and it’s no wonder since the former president has been indicted four times and now arrested.

Rumors have been circulating about how Trump would run his 2024 presidential campaign if he’s behind bars, but he joins Glenn to explain why he thinks that scenario is highly unlikely.

“They are serious about trying to put you in prison,” says Glenn. “Can I ask, will you and can you run a campaign from a jail cell?”

“Well, I don’t think that’s ever happening. We have a great case,” Trump explains, adding that all the charges brought against him are “a scam.”

The former president also notes that he has “the biggest lead [he’s] ever had,” especially after the Tucker interview that garnered 261 million views, “which is an all-time record,” he tells Glenn.

There’s also the mug shot to consider. In most contexts, a mug shot would tank someone’s reputation and career, but in Trump’s situation, it became instantaneously “iconic” and only served to inflate his popularity.

“I was doing well before this stuff, but it’s really driven my poll numbers up,” Trump says.
