Furious teacher who freaked out in class over student wearing Trump hat gets placed on leave

A furious Southern California high school teacher who freaked out in a classroom over a student wearing a hat in support of President-elect Donald Trump has been placed on leave.

The Chino Valley Unified School District placed the English teacher on leave after a recording of his rant surfaced, KCAL-TV reported Wednesday.

'The district policy is that you are not allowed to wear hats in class, and it is required of a student to remove them in class. The student refused to do so.'

KTTV-TV said the outbursts from the "popular teacher" at Chino High School came the day after last week's presidential election.

Corey DeAngelis, senior fellow at the American Culture Project, posted snippets of the teacher's outbursts on X.

"A child molester, huh?" the teacher said on one video clip. "Vote for that freaking rapist. ... I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry. I have a daughter, I have three nieces, and he'd rape them, and people are voting for him. Christians are voting for him. Bunch of losers. Fake Christians."

The teacher said in another clip, "I'm pissed, people voting for a freaking rapist, and I'm pissed off" before adding, "I don't care, fire the hell out of me. I'm fighting for my daughter, my nieces, their rights."

The teacher is heard in another clip hollering to "turn it off and ... go back to your freaking seat now! Go!" Immediately afterward, the teacher is heard speaking — presumably on a phone or intercom, "Can you send security up, please? ... I have a boy who has a Trump hat on, and I'm not gonna tolerate it today, bye bye."

In that same clip, the teacher then appears to speak to a student: "I don't care if you have a Harris hat or a Trump hat, you're outta here. You know better. Tell [Principal John] Miller, 'I should have the right to vote for a rapist and a child molester,' go for it, go for it. I don't give a F!"

'This has made a lot of students very sad because it makes the school look bad. Because it makes it look like we have crazy teachers here when we don't.'

In another clip — in which he seems to be out of breath — the teacher snaps at another student, "Excuse me! What's wrong with me?" When the student appears to ask what the other student's hat said, the teacher replies, "Trump. The rapist. Even Trumpers don't deny it; they just vote for him ... gonna get rid of 20 million immigrants. ... You know who should get out? You know who owns this land? ... Native Americans."

Students stage a walkout

KCAL said dozens of Chino High School students left their classrooms Wednesday during their second and third periods to support their teacher, whom they hadn't seen since the incident.

"The district policy is that you are not allowed to wear hats in class, and it is required of a student to remove them in class," one of the protesting students, Bridget Moore, told KCAL. "The student refused to do so."

KCAL said the school district confirmed that hats aren't permitted in classrooms.

However, Chino Valley Unified School District board president Sonja Shaw told KTTV previously that while the school has a dress code, it refers to indecent exposure and hate language — and that a Trump hat "is not out of code."

"We had many students wearing T-shirts supporting both sides of the political debate in several schools without issue," Shaw added to KTTV.

KCAL added that hundreds of students signed an online petition in support of the teacher in question, saying the recordings of his meltdown don't show what led up to it.

"He deserves to know everybody cares about him and shouldn't lose his job over something a student caused," another protesting student Katrina Munoz told KCAL.

The students who took part in the walkout were marked not present for class, KCAL added.

"This has made a lot of students very sad because it makes the school look bad," Moore also told KCAL. "Because it makes it look like we have crazy teachers here when we don't."

We have a trifecta

With the Chino High School teacher getting placed on leave, that means all of the anti-Trump teachers Blaze News has covered this week — so far, at least — have seen their meltdowns ending badly.

Indeed, a Connecticut special-education teacher who threatened Trump voters in a viral video has resigned. Annie Dunleavy of Chapman Elementary School in Cheshire spoke in person with WTNH-TV in the aftermath, tearfully at times trying to explain herself.

Also, a teacher at a different Southern California public high school who went on a profane rant in his Advanced Placement world history class against Trump the day after the election was placed on administrative leave.

Missouri Democratic Party reportedly tweets, then deletes, post that seemingly celebrated the idea of a Trump supporter's home burning down

The Twitter account of the Missouri Democratic Party reportedly posted, but later deleted, an eyebrow-raising tweet that seemed to express support for the idea of a Trump supporter's home burning down.

The odd post was made in response to a tweet in which an individual had asked, "What would you do if this was your next-door neighbor?" The tweet included a photo of a home covered with pro-Trump material.

Screenshots indicate that the Missouri Democratic Party responded, "The roof, the roof, is on [fire emoji] we don't need no water, let the 'insert your word' burn!" The tweet, which also included the hashtag "#VoteBlue2024," appears to be a reference to lyrics from the song "The Roof Is on Fire."

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri responded by tweeting, "Here's the Missouri Democrat Party advocating for a Trump supporter's home to burn down. Sick. There's no place for this kind of disgusting, violent rhetoric in Missouri."

"No big deal, just the official account of the Missouri Democrat Party openly calling to burn down the homes of Trump supporters," Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.

"Here is the official account of the Missouri Democratic Party expressing how excited they are about the possibility of a TRUMP supporter’s house burning down. So much for the 'Party of Love and Tolerance,'" someone else tweeted.

Prosecutors: Trump supporter staged 2020 arson he blamed on 'BLM/Antifa,' defrauded insurance company, collected thousands in donations

Prosecutors said a supporter of then-President Donald Trump staged a 2020 arson at his home in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, which he blamed on "BLM/Antifa" — and afterward defrauded his insurance company and collected thousands in donations.

What are the details?

Denis Vladmirovich Molla, 29, was charged with two counts of wire fraud last Tuesday in U.S. District Court, the Star Tribune reported, citing court documents.

The paper — citing the charges — said Molla falsely reported someone lit his camper on fire because it was flying a Trump 2020 flag and that three people were near his home when he heard an explosion and that his garage door was vandalized with "Biden 2020," "BLM," and an Antifa symbol.

The Star Tribune added that first responders put out the fire which burned down the detached garage, destroyed three vehicles, and caused minor damage to the home shortly before 4 a.m. Sept. 23, 2020. Crews also helped the family save three dogs and four puppies from the home, the paper said, citing prior police statements.

The paper said Molla and his wife Deana previously told the Star Tribune they were asleep in the house — along with their 2-year-old son and 5-month old daughter — when the fire erupted.

"In reality, as Molla well knew, Molla started his own property on fire, Molla spray-painted the graffiti on his own property, and there were no unknown males near his homes," charging documents said, according to the Star Tribune.

Molla later claimed more than $300,000 in damages and received about $61,000 from his insurance company, prosecutors told the paper, adding that Molla deposited more than $17,000 from his "Patriots for the Mollas" GoFundMe account into his personal bank account.

When his insurance company denied some of his claims, Molla submitted complaints that the company was defrauding him, the Star Tribune reported, adding that he threatened to report it to the Department of Commerce and the attorney general.

Molla was released from custody without bail on a promise to appear in court, the paper said, citing court documents. The Star Tribune said a call to Molla's lawyer was not returned by deadline.

Anything else?

Deana Molla said at the time that her husband was working in downtown Minneapolis on a construction site, and his pickup with the Trump flag was parked nearby, when someone "drove by slowly and took pictures" and feces was left at his vehicle.

"[The suspects] saw that we have a jungle gym and toys in the backyard," she added. "To put our babies in harm's way because you don't agree with our politics; just don't put our kids in danger. My son smells like smoke."

The family also wrote in Facebook post that had been deleted at the time of the arson that their house "was supposedly targeted by BLM/Antifa."

Trump supporter infiltrates Antifa group, collects recordings of 'comrades' making threats against police: 'Let's kill some cops'

A supporter of former President Donald Trump told KGO-TV that he infiltrated an Antifa group in Sonoma County, California, and collected recordings of the far-left violent militants making threats against police and even preparing major action for Saturday — or May Day,

Here's a sampling:

Group leader: "It's May Day, baby, like come out and take, take somethin' over with us, I don't, I don't [bleep]-ing know."
Member: "Let's kill people [laughs]."
Group Leader: "Let's kill some cops."

The Trump supporter who infiltrated Antifa appeared on camera in an interview with the station, but his face and voice were disguised.

He told KGO he saved messages, documents, and recordings of the Antifa group's meetings.

The infiltrator gave KGO the group's "target list," which included former Santa Rosa Police Officer Barry Brodd, who testified for the defense as a use of force expert in the murder trial of former police Officer Derek Chauvin for killing George Floyd.

Four days after Brodd's testimony defending Chauvin, the station said masked figures in black threw a severed pig head and pig blood at the house where Brodd used to live. It's now occupied by other people.

Lt. Jeneane Kucker of the Santa Rosa Police Department told KGO, "I know that the victims, in this case, feel threatened. And they don't feel safe in their home."

The Trump supporter who infiltrated the Antifa group told the station, "So, I saw that they were here, I read their manifesto, and I could tell that they were a threat to the community, and somebody needed to do something about this."

More from KGO:

The manifesto posted online for SoCo (Sonoma County) Radical Action or SRA says, "Do not hesitate, do not wait ... the brick in the street is meant to be thrown! The paint in the can is meant to be sprayed! The cop in your head is meant to be killed!"

The Trump supporter was able to join the group that communicates through the encrypted messaging app Wickr.

The infiltrator added to the station that, "I said, 'Comrade, you know ... I want to smash the system the same as you,' [to] make them not feel alone, because that's what they really want to hear, to know that there's more people like them."

More from KGO:

The I-Team has learned the group's leader who goes by the screen name "Marb" is a 25-year-old college student, who was arrested for "felony assault on a police officer" last year at this Oakland riot after the death of George Floyd; the district attorney declined to file charges. The Trump supporter says he made this recording in March, when Marb discussed naming the group "SoCo Antifa." [...]

The infiltrator tells the I-Team he copied what the group calls its "target list," people they want to "dox" — to publish their private information, their addresses and phone numbers, to surveil them for possible vandalism. After his testimony, they placed Brodd at the top of the list and within an hour of the attack on his former house, Marb is back on Wickr at 3:48 a.m. telling the group, "Hey y'all, late notice, but some comrades took action at a house owned by Barry Brodd and if someone could swing by in the morning and get pictures, our comrades would be very grateful!"

The target list also includes the head of the deputy sheriff's union — or "killer deputies," as Antifa calls them — as well as officers involved in fatal confrontations, and Trump supporters like Sandy Metzger, the station said.

Metzger, who heads the Santa Rosa Republican Women Federated, told KGO that she "really came out strongly against Antifa and [Black Lives Matter]."

When the station told her that she's on the target list, Metzger said it does concern her "a little bit, but that's not going to stop me from speaking out. Somebody has to speak out. And I feel very strong about some of these things."

The recordings show the group has already checked out Metzger's house, KGO reported.

Now what?

The infiltrator told the station he's been in touch with the sheriff's department and Santa Rosa police about the potential threats.

KGO's Dan Noyes said Marb refused his attempts for an interview him, but the infiltrator actually intercepted a message from the group leader about "Dan Noyes at ABC7 asking about SRA. ...To firmly restate our position, nobody, myself included, should cooperate with press or cops."

The infiltrator added to the station that his interactions with SoCo Radical Action began last year — and he wanted to do something about the group.

"It felt like seeing Antifa getting sort of a pass all the time from government," he told KGO, "saying they don't exist, saying that they're a myth, saying that they're just an idea. You know, when obviously, they are very real, and they're a big threat."

The station reported that since it has been working on the story, Marb has been taking down his social media, both the public and private accounts.

Conservative actress Stacey Dash denounces her support for Trump, says she's done with politics

Conservative actress and ex-Fox News contributor Stacey Dash denounced her past support of former President Donald Trump and apologized for past comments she made while on the network during a recent interview.

The former "Clueless" star told the Daily Mail this week that she's done with politics and never plans to work in political media again. She also claimed the network typecast her as an "angry, conservative black woman," and said that role eventually wore her down.

"I've lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News. I was the angry, conservative black woman. And at that time in my life it was who I was," she said. "I realized in 2016 that anger is unsustainable and it will destroy you. I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.

"There are things that I am sorry for," she continued. "Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them. They were very arrogant and prideful and angry. And that's who Stacey was, but that's not who Stacey is now. Stacey's someone who has compassion, empathy."

Dash became a darling of conservatives ahead of the 2016 election cycle by passionately speaking out about conservative values and taking aim at the Hollywood liberal elite.

At times, her passion sparked controversy. One such example was in 2015 when she claimed on-air that former President Barack Obama "couldn't give a s**t" about terrorism. Another occurred in 2018 during an interview with MSNBC, when she defended comments Trump made about the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Now she says, "God has forgiven me, how dare I not forgive someone else. I don't want to be judged, so how dare I judge anyone else. So if anyone has ever felt that way about me, like I've judged, that I apologize for because that's not who I am."

Dash didn't deny personal responsibility in stirring up political controversy while at Fox News, but she did claim the network paid her to do as much.

"I'm not a victim of anyone. Working for Fox at the time, that was my job. I did my job from the place I was at. Stacey now would never work at Fox, would never work for a news network or be a news contributor," she said.

As for her support of Trump, Dash said, "He is not the president. We have a new president. Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don't belong in. But he's not the president. I'm going to give the president that we have right now a chance."

Dash, who also ran unsuccessfully for Congress in California in 2018, added that the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was an important turning point for her.

"I think the Capitol Riots were appalling," she said. "When that happened I was like 'Ok, I'm done. I'm truly done.' Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on January 6 was just appalling and stupid."

VIDEO: Suspect throws explosive into Trump supporter's home while he and his girlfriend are inside

After a suspect hit his home with explosives over the weekend, a man in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, said he thinks he was targeted because of his "avid" support for President Trump.

What are the details?

The homeowner, who for his safety has chosen to remain unidentified, told WDIV-TV that he and his girlfriend were heading upstairs just after midnight on Saturday when he heard two loud explosions and rushed back down to see what happened.

"Smoke was filling the house," he said. "I went up, told her to get out the house, [said], 'Grab the dog and get out of the house.'"

"The explosion went off and it kind of sounded like a transformer, I guess, from a power line, and then another explosion went off and it shook the house," the homeowner added.

"When we came outside, we noticed the whole window, it was completely blown out, smoke coming out. I didn't know if the house was on fire or what was going on," he continued. "I [saw] a truck racing down the road. When the police showed up, they went in, luckily it didn't catch fire, but the actual implosion of the mortar — it did some serious damage."

Surveillance footage, obtained by WBJK-TV, showed the suspect exiting a truck and running up to the house with an explosive in hand. He launched it through the window of the home before returning to his truck.

Then, additional surveillance footage showed a second explosive being thrown into the homeowner's driveway near his girlfriend's car.

The homeowner said the explosions were heard all around the neighborhood.

"My neighbor came over from across the street and he said two blocks over they called him and said, 'What the hell happened?' They thought a bomb went off," he told the news outlet.

A politically motivated attack?

When asked why he thought somebody would target him, the homeowner acknowledged that his open support for the president, which includes a sign on his property that reads "Trump 2020, F*** Your Feelings," could be the reason.

"Some people say because I'm a pretty avid Trump Supporter," he noted. "I always have my sign up."

He is now offering a $10,000 reward for pertinent information regarding the attack.

"It's worth it to me to find out who's trying to catch my house on fire and possibly kill me," he said.

No motive has officially been determined and police are still investigating the incident.
