Glenn Beck’s POWERFUL message to Democrats after Trump’s win

In the wake of Donald Trump’s historic victory over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, the New York Times released an op-ed titled “‘Trump’s America’: His Comeback Victory Signals a Different Kind of Country.”

It’s one of many calumnious pieces the news outlet, and others like it, have published since Trump’s victory was solidified in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Despite its defamatory nature, the article captures what the left is genuinely feeling at this moment in time.

Glenn Beck reads the closing statements from author Peter Baker. Two things are abundantly clear: Liberals are genuinely terrified of Donald Trump, and their anti-Trump narrative will not die easily.

“The assumption that Mr. Trump represented an anomaly who would at last be consigned to the ash heap of history was washed away Tuesday night by a red current that swept through the battleground states and swept away the understanding of America long nurtured by its ruling elite of both parties. No longer can the political establishment write off Mr. Trump as a temporary break from the long march of progress,” Glenn reads from the op-ed.

The piece went on to belabor the left’s anti-Trump narrative, lamenting America’s decision to elect "a convicted criminal as president” and hand "power back to a leader who tried to overturn a previous election, called for the termination of the Constitution and aspired to be a dictator on day one, and vowed to exact retribution against his adversaries.”

Baker also demonized the millions of Americans who voted for Donald Trump, claiming that they brushed aside Trump’s “lies” and “wild conspiracy theories” and embraced him as “a victim of persecution” instead of “[dismissing] him as a felon found by various courts to be a fraudster, cheater, sexual abuser, and defamer.”

Baker called the election “a CAT scan on the American people.”

“As difficult as it is to say, as hard as it is to name, what it revealed, at least in part, is a frightening affinity for a man of borderless corruption,” he wrote.

Perhaps most disturbing, however, was Baker’s claim that Trump conditioned "Americans throughout this campaign to see American democracy as a failed experiment.”

“A victory for Trump would mean that this vision of America, and the recourse to violence as a means of solving political problems, has triumphed,” Baker declared.

Baker’s article captures the way liberal voters are feeling about Donald Trump’s victory. They genuinely believe that he is an evil tyrant who will destroy this country, and they are sickened that this was America’s choice. They feel the same way Trump voters would feel if Harris had won the election — disheartened and scared.

But Glenn has a message for these people.

“I do believe it comes from a misunderstanding of what our country is,” he says. “They're looking at our country the way Woodrow Wilson defined it, and that is an administrative state,” but “what is in the American soul is something entirely different.”

“Who are we? What is it that we fight for?” Glenn asks.

“We see America more in the tradition of the Founding Fathers,” and “we believe that the American spirit is a force that inspires dreams; it also has fueled revolutions; it's also driven some of the greatest innovations and achievements the world has ever seen. ... We believe in the American individual,” says Glenn.

And to the liberals who would argue that they also believe in these things, Glenn says, “I don't think you do because you want somebody to tell all of the individuals exactly what they must believe, what they must live, what they must eat, what they must drive, what they must teach their children.”

“We don’t believe that,” he says.

Glenn then explains how the founding of our country was only possible because the American spirit that longed for true freedom was stronger than the will of tyrants.

“They don't determine our destiny — we do!” he proclaims, defining the American spirit and calling it “something that transcends race and religion or class.”

“We are exceptional because the rest of the world has been told ‘shut up and sit down.’ ... What makes us exceptional is that we say, ‘Who are you to tell me that? You don't control my life; you don't control my vision; you don't control my every movement,”’ Glenn exclaims.

“Our founders knew that governments left unchecked would accumulate power at the expense of the individual. We have been on this road that you in the New York Times may say is traditional,” “accepted,” and just “the way we are,” but “that is a perversion,” he says, pointing to 1916 as the time when the train tracks switched and America adopted the idea that “man cannot rule himself.”

But to believe that is to admit that “you don’t understand who Americans are.”

JD Vance accuses CNN's Jake Tapper of media manipulation in explosive interview

Republican vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) sparred with CNN's Jack Tapper on Sunday, challenging the accuracy of comments Tapper attributed to former President Donald Trump.

Tapper opened the interview by questioning Vance about criticisms from Trump's former chief of staff, retired Marine General John Kelly, who expressed concerns that the former president would allegedly deploy the military against "the enemy from within." Last week, Kelly accused Trump of being a "fascist" and an "authoritarian."

'Show me the quote where he said that.'

Vance dismissed the allegations and described Kelly as a disgruntled former employee attempting to tarnish Trump's reputation. He told Tapper that several witnesses have accused Kelly of fabricating false statements he has attributed to Trump.

Tapper claimed that Kelly and Trump are in alignment on policies, but Vance stated, "I don't buy that."

Vance said, "If you actually look at John Kelly and folks like Liz Cheney, the fundamental disagreement they have with Donald Trump is, even though they say they're conservative, they're conservative in the sense that they want America to get involved in a ton of ridiculous military conflicts. They want America to police the world, and Donald Trump [doesn't]."

Tapper interrupted Vance, stating, "John Kelly lost a son in Afghanistan. Why are you saying, like — I've never heard John Kelly say whether he supports Iran or Afghanistan."

Vance responded, "And I honor his son's sacrifice and his family's sacrifice; that doesn't mean he's not wrong about policy."

"Is your argument that a person that lost a son in Afghanistan can't be wrong about public policy?" Vance asked Tapper.

Vance stated that many of Trump's conservative critics who were previously in his Cabinet had turned against him because he "wouldn't listen to the leadership of the military when they wanted him to start ridiculous conflicts."

Tapper pressed Vance on his claim that Kelly coordinated with Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign before making his critical comments about Trump. Tapper reported that sources close to Kelly and the Harris campaign denied any such communication.

"I'm highly skeptical of that, Jake. You know the way that these attacks work," Vance responded. "You're telling me that based on secondhand conversations with John Kelly."

Vance contended that the only reason Harris does not have former staff criticizing her is because "she doesn't fire people who fail."

"That's why we haven't had a real audit of the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal," he added. "Kamala Harris protects failures in government; Donald Trump fires them."

Tapper argued that several of Trump's former staff members think Trump is "not fit for office."

"Oh, they didn't think he was unfit for office until they had a falling-out with him because he fired them, and we're not talking about public policy," Vance responded.

The senator tried to steer the conversation to policy issues, urging Tapper to question him on Trump's strategies for reducing grocery and housing costs for Americans.

"You'd much rather talk about what Donald Trump allegedly said than what Trump did in office," Vance stated.

Tapper stated that Trump threatened to use the military against American citizens, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

"He did not say that, Jake," Vance fired back. "Show me the quote where he said that."

"He's talking about people rioting after the election," the senator continued. "People who burn down American cities in the summer of 2020. Yes, we should have a federal law enforcement response."

Tapper persisted, claiming that Trump intends to use the military to "go after the enemy from within."

"Here's the game that you're playing," Vance explained. "He said that he wanted to use the military to go after far-left lunatics who are rioting, and he also called them 'the enemy within.' He separately, in a totally different context and a totally different conversation, said that Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff were threats to this country."

"You're imputing things. You're taking words out of context. You're taking two separate conversations and pretending they were made at the exact same time," Vance remarked.

Vance then slammed Tapper and CNN for giving credence to the "Russia hoax."

"Ask yourself a basic question on network integrity. You guys talked about the Russia hoax nonstop," Vance stated. "And so you took the words of unnamed FBI agents and put them on your network as though they were the gospel truth. You did it again and again."

Aurora apartment owner confirms Venezuelan gang takeovers — releases shocking evidence of bloody assault

CBZ Management, a company that owns a number of apartment complexes in Colorado, broke its silence on Friday, confirming that the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua has taken over several properties.

The company started an account on X to share its side of the story after many local officials and the media reported that the claims of TDA's takeover were overblown.

'Yes, gangs did take control of our apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, and the government did nothing. That is the real story.'

Rumors of the transnational gang's expanded presence in the area became seemingly undeniable in late August when Cindy Romero, a former tenant at the Edge at Lowry, a property owned by CBZ, released a video showing a group of armed men storming through the complex, Blaze News previously reported. Another video the then-tenant captured showed a man using a hammer to destroy the deadbolt lock on the same apartment unit.

Cindy Romero and her husband, Edward, were desperate to leave the complex, saying it had become "a nightmare" since the gang had moved in. Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky ultimately helped find the Romeros another place to live.

At the time, Jurinksy told Fox News Digital that it was "like pulling teeth to get anyone, the media, other elected officials ... to acknowledge the presence of this trend and to acknowledge that there is even a problem."

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) called the TDA invasion "largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky's imagination."

CBZ explained that it had begun managing the Colorado properties in 2019, and, at that time, the apartments "were in poor condition." The company aimed to renovate the complexes and increase their value, noting that the project was "ambitious" and would "take years" to complete.

"Everything was progressing smoothly: property values were rising, and vacancy rates were dropping. It was a win-win for both the owners and the city of Aurora," CBZ wrote in a lengthy thread on X. "Then, the gangs arrived."

In 2023, one of CBZ's representatives was viciously attacked when he attempted to perform an inspection at one of the properties, the company stated. When he arrived, he found "a group of men" inside a three-bedroom apartment that should have been vacated.

"When he refused their $500 bribe to overlook the situation, they brutally attacked him," CBZ wrote.

The company released a short surveillance video of the attack and a photograph taken shortly afterward showing the victim's injuries. In the picture, the representative's face and shirt were covered in blood, and he appeared to have bruising around his eye.

Unfortunately, it did not end there for the CBZ representative, the company said.

"After the attack on our CBZ representative, he began getting threatening text messages," the company continued. "These criminals revealed his home address and his spouse's name."

According to CBZ, law enforcement officials confirmed that those sending the messages and occupying the complexes were TDA members.

"They also mentioned that our situation was just 'a blip on the radar,' as this gang is causing significant problems nationwide," CBZ said.

After effectively taking over three complexes, gang members allegedly presented CBZ with an ultimatum to split the rental income in half or "lose the buildings permanently."

CBZ said it made the decision to withdraw its management team from the properties due to safety concerns.

"Despite the obvious crisis, several city officials refused to acknowledge the reality. Instead, they blamed us, citing 'code violations' as the reason for shutting down our property—violations we couldn't resolve for tenants who weren't even ours," CBZ wrote.

The company claimed that the only violations it did not resolve were those made after the gang took over.

Even after local reports surfaced of authorities arresting 10 confirmed TDA gang members with ties to the apartment takeovers, the media and local officials continued to call others' concerns overblown.

On Sunday, Republican vice presidential nominee, Sen. JD Vance (Ohio), humiliated ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz for trying to downplay the severity of the situation in Aurora. According to Raddatz, former President Donald Trump's claims that TDA has taken over parts of the city have been debunked.

"Do you support Donald Trump making those claims that the Republican mayor says were grossly exaggerated and have hurt the city's identity and sense of safety?" Raddatz asked Vance.

"Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated. That means there's got to be some element of truth here," Vance responded.

Raddatz interrupted Vance's reply and stated that the TDA takeovers "were limited to a handful of apartment complexes."

"Martha, do you hear yourself?!" Vance fired back. "Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris' open border?!"

In a post on X, CBZ wrote, "Despite clear evidence, many still deny the reality of the situation, sometimes using us as scapegoats. That's why we are no longer staying silent. We will continue to counter falsehoods with simple facts and evidence."

"Yes, gangs did take control of our apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, and the government did nothing. That is the real story," it added.

Cindy Romero told Fox News on Monday that the media's attempts to minimize the situation feel like "a slap in the face."

"How many gangs is OK to have in Aurora? How many properties is OK to take over? How many people, who are citizens paying their bills, is it OK to displace?" Romero asked.

An Aurora representative told the New York Post that CBZ's claims were "exaggerations."

"These delinquent property owners, managers and/or 'investors' conveniently fail to acknowledge that their own bank lenders took them to court in the last few weeks where a judge ordered some of their problematic properties into receivership," the spokesperson stated. "That means a judge has given the legal authority to a third-party receiver to actually manage the properties, and who the property owners will be forced to compensate."

The FBI declined to comment, the Post reported.

'Secretary of Cost-Cutting': Trump taps Musk for new potential role to slash government waste

Former President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that, should he win the presidential election, he plans to tap Elon Musk for a new potential role to significantly reduce government waste.

During an interview on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures," the Republican presidential nominee said he hopes to appoint Musk as his "Secretary of Cost-Cutting."

'We will rip the waste out of our $6.5 Trillion budget. Our goal: Balance the Budget of the USA.'

Trump told the news outlet, "He's a great business guy, and he's a great cost-cutter."

According to Trump, Musk told him he could slash government costs "without affecting anybody."

He noted that Musk does not want to be a part of the Cabinet but does want to help eliminate government waste.

"He is dying to do this," Trump said of Musk. "We'll have a new position: Secretary of Cost-Cutting. Elon wants to do that, and we have incredible people. He's running a big business. He can't just say, 'I think I'll go into the Cabinet.' Other people can. He can't, but Elon's a little bit different in that sense."

Trump also told Fox News that Musk promised him he would get a rocket to Mars by the end of Trump's potential second term, stating he hopes Musk pulls it off "long before" China or Russia.

During an August X Spaces discussion, the former president complimented Musk for being "the greatest cutter." Musk previously stated that he had slashed the staff at Twitter by approximately 80%.

"I look at what you do. You walk in and you just say, 'You want to quit?' They go on strike — I won't mention the name of the company — but they go on strike, and you say, 'That's OK, you're all gone. You're all gone. Every one of you is gone,'" Trump told Musk.

Musk explained during the Spaces conversation that government overspending causes inflation.

"Would you agree that we need to take a look at government spending and have, perhaps, a government efficiency commission that just ... tries to make the spending sensible and so that the country lives within its means?" he asked Trump.

Musk advocated for a government efficiency commission "that takes a look at these things and just ensures that the taxpayer money — that taxpayers' hard-earned money — is spent in a good way. And I'd be happy to help out on such a commission."

On Monday, Trump-Vance transition team co-chair Howard Lutnick posted a photograph on social media of himself and Musk.

"Welcome to DOGE," Lutnick wrote, an acronym referring to Musk's proposed "Department of Government Efficiency." "Doge" is also a cryptocurrency.

"We will rip the waste out of our $6.5 Trillion budget. Our goal: Balance the Budget of the USA. We must elect Donald Trump President," Lutnick stated.

Musk shared Lutnick's post, adding, "We gotta win, but, once we do, we can cut the millions of strings that, like Gulliver, hold back the giant that is America!"

Ohio court rejects Haitian nonprofit's request to arrest Trump, Vance over Springfield pet-eating remarks

An Ohio court rejected the Haitian Bridge Alliance's request to arrest Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump and running mate Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) over claims the two made that Haitian nationals residing in Springfield are eating locals' pets and wildlife.

According to a Saturday statement from Springfield officials, a Clark County municipal court panel of judges found no probable cause to issue warrants or summonses on misdemeanor charges against Trump and Vance, WBNS reported.

'The Court cannot automatically presume the good faith nature of the affidavits.'

The judges noted that "the strong constitutional protections afforded to speech, and political speech in particular," should be taken into consideration.

"The conclusion of whether the evidence and causation necessary for probable cause exists to commence a prosecution of the alleged offenses is best left in the investigatory hands of the prosecution," the judges wrote.

"The presidential election is less than 35 days away. The issue of immigration is contentious," their ruling continued. "Due to the proximity of the election, and the contentiousness concerning the immigration policies of both candidates, the Court cannot automatically presume the good faith nature of the affidavits."

Since the judges ruled against issuing warrants against Trump and Vance, they were required to refer the case to the prosecutor for further investigation.

Judge Stephen Schumaker wrote in a concurring opinion that the case does not require a hearing.

"The Court acknowledges the difficulties of proving a negative. There is significant difference, however, between stating that there are no verifiable reports that a statement is true and proof and/or probable cause that a statement is false," Schumaker ruled. "This Judge has tremendous respect for the officials making the above and similar statements but if any of the officials voiced the opinion that the statements at issue were false, those statements are in the form of opinion."

Last month, the HBA, a group that has received funding in the past from George Soros' Open Society Foundations, filed criminal charges against Trump and Vance, calling for their arrests "stemming from the baseless and malicious comments made against our Haitian community," Blaze News previously reported.

According to the HBA, the politicians "led an effort to vilify and threaten the Haitian community in Springfield."

Guerline Jozef, executive director of HBA, claimed that Trump and Vance inflicted "devastating harm" against the community and were responsible for recent bomb threats and "racially charged threats" in the area.

The HBA's bid cited R.C. 2935.09, an Ohio law that allows private citizens to file an affidavit for criminal charges.

Karoline Leavitt, Trump campaign spokeswoman, previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation, "President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system that Kamala Harris has overseen, bringing thousands of illegal immigrants pouring into communities like Springfield and many others across the country."

"President Trump will secure our border and put an end to the chaos that illegal immigration brings to our communities," Leavitt added.

Soros-backed Haitian group calls for Trump, Vance’s arrest over Springfield pet-eating comments: ‘Devastating harm’

The Haitian Bridge Alliance filed criminal charges against Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), on Tuesday over claims they made that Haitian nationals in Springfield, Ohio, are eating locals’ pets and wildlife.

The group has reportedly received funding in the past from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, according to a 2021 press release from the grant-making network.

'President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system.'

The HBA is calling for the arrest of Trump and Vance “stemming from the baseless and malicious comments made against our Haitian community,” the group stated in a Tuesday press release about the filed charges.

“Both Trump and Vance led an effort to vilify and threaten the Haitian community in Springfield. Together, they spread and amplified the debunked claim that Haitian immigrants in Springfield are eating pets including cats, dogs, and wildlife,” HBA claimed.

According to the group, Trump and Vance “committed multiple crimes,” and it is asking the court to affirm probable cause and issue arrest warrants.

Guerline Jozef, executive director of HBA, accused Trump and Vance of inflicting “devastating harm” against the Haitian community in Springfield.

The HBA blamed the politicians for recent bomb threats and “racially charged threats” in the Springfield area.

“Thirty-three bomb threats have been alleged across Springfield within the last two weeks. Hospitals, schools, universities, and government offices were all evacuated after receiving racially charged threats. Springfield government officials and their families received threats. Trump and Vance’s lies have harmed the Springfield community, and their lies have violated criminal law,” Jozef stated.

“HBA is non-partisan, this is not about one candidate or political party,” Jozef continued. “This is about confronting white supremacy, anti-Black rhetoric, and hate speech that seems to be a constant in U.S. politics and that continues to cause suffering. No one is above the law.”

Subodh Chandra, lead counsel in the lawsuit, said, “The Haitian community is suffering in fear because of Trump and Vance’s relentless, irresponsible, false alarms, and public services have been disrupted.”

Chandra called for Trump and Vance to be “held accountable.”

“Anyone else who wreaked havoc the way they did would have been arrested by now,” Chandra claimed.

Vance has previously told reporters that many locals reached out to him, claiming that Haitian nationals have been swiping up wildlife and pets. During recent city meetings, several residents have raised concerns about the approximately 20,000 immigrant arrivals, with the majority expressing frustrations over the uptick in traffic accidents caused by unlicensed Haitian drivers.

Karoline Leavitt, Trump campaign spokeswoman, told the Daily Caller News Foundation, “President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system that Kamala Harris has overseen, bringing thousands of illegal immigrants pouring into communities like Springfield and many others across the country.”

“President Trump will secure our border and put an end to the chaos that illegal immigration brings to our communities,” Leavitt added.

The HBA cited Ohio law, R.C. 2935.09, which permits private citizens to file an affidavit for criminal charges. However, a hearing must take place before such affidavits can proceed.

Crisis in the heartland: Trump to visit Springfield and Aurora to highlight immigration turmoil

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held a campaign rally on Wednesday in Uniondale, New York, during which he stated that he soon plans to visit Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado.

Both cities are currently under media spotlight for their communities' ongoing battle with the Biden-Harris administration's illegal immigration crisis.

During Trump's packed rally at the Nassau Coliseum on Wednesday, he stated, "It is truly an invasion, and we're not going to let it happen. We're going to take those violent people, and we're going to ship them back to their country. And if they come back in, they're going to pay a hell of a price."

"This is not sustainable by any country," Trump continued, adding that tens of thousands of immigrants have moved into Springfield.

"This is a little beautiful town. No crime. No problem. Thirty-two-thousand illegal immigrants come into the town, 32, so they almost double their population in a period of a few weeks," he said.

Trump declared, "I'm going to go there in the next two weeks. I'm going to Springfield, and I'm going to Aurora."

He vowed to solve the immigration crisis in the country.

Trump then took a bit of a swipe at Springfield Mayor Rob Rue (R), saying, "I think he's a very nice person, but instead of saying, 'We're getting them all out' ... he says, very simply, 'We're hiring teachers to teach them English.' Can you believe it?"

Rue responded to Trump's announcement about his plans to visit the city, stating that he would rather the former president skip the stop.

"It would be an extreme strain on our resources. So it'd be fine with me if they decided not to make that visit," Rue stated, according to NBC News.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) said that a visit by Trump would be "generally very, very welcomed."

"I have to state the reality, though, that resources are really, really stretched here," DeWine added.

Trump's running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance (R), told reporters on Tuesday that he has not yet decided if he will make the trip to Springfield.

"I think, obviously, the president and the president's team would talk to the local officials in Springfield to make sure that already precious law enforcement resources weren't stressed by a visit," Vance explained.

"I don't think that there's anything firm just yet," he continued. "I haven't made plans to go just in the last few days. I know the president would like to go but also hasn't made any explicit plans."

According to WABC-TV, more than 60,000 tickets were requested to attend Trump's rally on Long Island. The venue's capacity is 16,000. Many of Trump's supporters who could not get into the event gathered outside the building to watch his live speech on screens.

JD Vance humiliates NYT, rips left for inflammatory rhetoric in wake of assassination attempts on Trump

Republican vice presidential nominee Ohio Sen. JD Vance made two separate campaign stops on Tuesday in Wisconsin and Michigan, during which he eviscerated Democrats and their corporate media allies.

Vance took questions from adversarial reporters, including a New York Times correspondent who brought up a recent comment the senator made about Haitian immigrants apparently eating pets in Springfield, Ohio. The media has repeatedly argued that Vance made up the allegations, while the senator has maintained that his constituents were the ones who initially reported the claims.

'That is bullying on an industrial scale.'

During the Wisconsin rally, Vance called on the Times reporter to read out his question.

“This is the New York Times, so don’t hold it against them,” Vance stated.

The reporter responded, “The paper of record, New York Times.” He continued by setting up his question, noting that it would be about Springfield.

“You’ve said, regardless of what the exact precise facts are here, it’s worth it to make the larger point of a town overrun by immigration,” the reporter said.

Vance corrected the Times reporter, “I didn’t say regardless of the precise facts. I said, you have to listen to what people are saying, right? The media has tried to say now for days that I’ve made up this story. I haven’t made up anything. I’ve just listened to people who are telling me these things.”

“That’s the point,” the reporter replied. “Your willingness to shine a light on issues you see as important. And I’m wondering if you know where your line is on that. What’s something you’re willing not to say in order to make a point that is important to you?”

Vance responded to the inquiry with a smile while his supporters at the rally booed the reporter.

“It’s a question for him, not the crowd,” the Times reporter snapped at attendees.

Vance answered, “What I wouldn’t say is that the New York Times is a respectable paper. That’s one thing I wouldn’t be willing to say.”

“All kidding aside,” the senator continued, “if one person had called me and said, ‘I’m seeing this in Springfield,’ we maybe let that pass. When four, five, six, seven people are telling me they see something in Springfield, and on top of it, that there are certain people who refuse to listen to them, who refuse to take their concerns seriously, that’s when it’s my job as a United States senator to listen to my constituents.”

During the same rally, a CBS News reporter asked Vance if he had “a responsibility to fact-check” the claims made by his constituents.

“I think the media has a responsibility to fact-check the residents of Springfield, not lie about it,” Vance rebutted.

The crowd responded with overwhelming applause to the senator’s remarks.

Vance torched members of the media for only showing up to fact-check the residents about the pet-eating claims after ignoring locals’ longtime concerns about the impact the immigration crisis has had on the housing shortage and the rising cost of car insurance in the area.

“They talk about the pet story, and that’s all the American media wants to talk about,” Vance explained. “And, of course, the American media goes into Springfield, dives in, harasses everybody who dares to complain about the condition of the town. That is not journalism, and that is not seeking the truth. That is bullying on an industrial scale. And I think the media ought to be ashamed of itself.”

Vance also held a rally in Sparta, Michigan, on Tuesday. During his speech, he torched the left and its media allies for spreading inflammatory rhetoric about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, arguing that their hateful remarks fueled the recent assassination attempts against the former president.

“Don’t lecture Donald Trump about softening his rhetoric after two people tried to kill him. It’s ridiculous. Tell Kamala Harris. Tell Joe Biden. Tell of her surrogates who are saying things like, ‘Donald Trump needs to be eliminated.’ They need to cut that crap out,” Vance remarked.

During a recent stop in Atlanta, Georgia, Vance addressed the most recent assassination attempt against Trump. He called on Democrats to stop calling the former president a fascist.

“If you tell the American people that this person is the end of democracy, if you tell the American people that this person needs to be eliminated, most of them — thank God — are gonna ignore you, but some crazy person is going to take matters into their own hands and actually listen to the crazy rhetoric that you’re putting out there,” Vance said.

“You know the big difference between conservatives and liberals? No one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months. And two people now have tried to kill Donald Trump in the last couple of months. I’d say that’s pretty strong evidence that the left needs to tone down their rhetoric,” he stated.

JD Vance torches media for not caring about immigration crisis until GOP shared cat memes

Republican vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (Ohio) slammed the media for not caring about the Biden-Harris administration's self-inflicted immigration crisis until Republicans began sharing cat memes online.

After Tuesday evening's debate between former President Donald Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris, CNN's Kaitlan Collins attempted to corner Vance about allegedly false statements he and Trump made about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, slaughtering and eating wildlife and residents' pets.

'Nobody cared about this until we raised this issue, which is disgraceful.'

Collins claimed she was "surprised" that Trump "brought up this misleading, false claim" during the debate with Harris.

"Trump just amplified it to tens of millions of people who were watching. Why push something that's not true?" Collins asked Vance.

"Well, first of all, city officials have not said that it's not true. They've said they don't have all the evidence, but we've heard from a number of constituents on the ground ... both firsthand and secondhand reports saying this stuff is happening," Vance replied. "So they, very clearly — meaning the people on the ground dealing with this — think that it is happening, and I think that it's important for journalists to actually get on the ground and uncover this stuff for themselves when you have a lot of people saying, 'My pets are being abducted,' or, 'Geese at the city pond are being abducted and slaughtered right in front of us.' This is crazy stuff."

Vance continued, "Whether those exact rumors turn out to be mostly true, somewhat true, whatever the case may be, Kaitlan, this town has been ravaged by 20,000 migrants coming in. Health care costs are up. Housing costs are up. Communicable diseases like HIV and TB have skyrocketed in this small Ohio town. This is what Kamala Harris' border policies have done."

The senator then slammed the corporate media for failing to take the administration's border crisis seriously until the GOP began creating comical posts about it.

"I think it's interesting, Kaitlan, that the media didn't care about the carnage wrought by these policies until we turned it into a meme about cats, and that speaks to the media's failure to care about what's going on in these communities," Vance added. "If we have to meme about it to get the media to care, we're going to keep on doing it because the media should care about what's going on."

Collins argued that the "media does care about it," pointing to a recent "lengthy" New York Times article and a PBS NewsHour story.

Vance turned the tables on Collins, noting that her examples proved his point, claiming the reports were released as a result of the memes.

"Caused by us talking about it and bringing it up. Nobody cared about this until we raised this issue, which is disgraceful," he stated.

Collins attempted to corner Vance with a "gotcha" moment by asking whether he would believe residents' reports if they had claimed to see Bigfoot.

"It's a totally fair point, but nobody's calling my office and saying they saw Bigfoot. What they're calling and saying is, 'We're seeing migrants kidnap our dogs and cats and city officials aren't doing anything about it,'" he replied.

Vance added, "I have a responsibility as a United States senator. I think the media has a responsibility as an institution that cares about truth to actually take people seriously when they say their lives have been ruined by this migrant crisis."

Glenn Beck thinks Donald Trump will win but ONLY if Americans do THIS

Glenn Beck spent last weekend with Tucker Carlson. Among the many subjects the friends discussed was the question that’s plaguing all of our minds: Who is going to win the election — Donald Trump or Kamala Harris?

Glenn thinks that the majority of Americans have had enough of the Biden-Harris administration’s policies. People are sick of being financially spread thin due to inflation, sick of their cities being overrun with crime and homelessness, sick of their tax dollars funding illegal immigrants, and the list goes on.

But despite Americans being fed up with radical leftist policies, Kamala Harris — the most radically left candidate to date — could still win the presidency if people don’t show up at the polls come November.

“Things could change for the better that fast,” says Glenn, snapping his fingers. “But we have to get out and vote.”

Glenn points to recently released polling analyses from American statistician Nate Silver that suggested that Donald Trump has a 64% chance of beating Harris.

“Tucker said he's seen some polls from both sides, and he said Kamala is starting to crater,” he adds.

Perhaps her backsliding is due to more incidents of masses of illegal immigrants overwhelming cities — the most recent example being in Springfield Ohio, where an estimated 15,000 Haitian migrants have engulfed the city, allegedly committing crimes such as eating people’s pets.

Glenn plays a clip of one Springfield resident begging city council to do something.

“It is so unsafe in my neighborhood. ... I have the homeless that were trying to camp out, and I have made concessions with them, and I try to help them the best I can to keep them from trying to squat on my property, but it is so unsafe. I have men that cannot speak English in my front yard screaming at me, throwing mattresses in my front yard, throwing trash in my front yard, and I can't — look at me, I weigh 95 pounds — I couldn't defend myself if I had to,” she lamented.

“I don't understand what you expect of us as citizens. I mean, I understand they're here under temporary protected status and you're protecting them, and I understand that our city services are overwhelmed and understaffed, but who's protecting us? If we're protecting them, who's protecting me? I want out of this town,” she concluded.

Glenn is moved by the woman’s words, but he also notices something telling: These words are coming from someone who is clearly not against protecting illegal immigrants and sees herself “as a servant of the government,” which shows just how severe the problem has become.

“If you're a right-thinking American, you understand you're not here to serve them. The leaders in our communities are put there to serve us — to protect and defend us,” says Glenn.

What’s happening in Ohio is just one example though. Countless other incidents of left-wing policies failing permeate the nation.

“You're going to see people do one of two things,” says Glenn. “Stay at home because they can't vote for Trump but they can't vote for this anymore, or two, they're going to go out and vote for Trump.”

Let’s hope for the latter.
