Elon Musk explains the one change in the left that no one can deny

Why is comedy no longer funny?

Elon Musk has an answer, and it reveals some serious truth.

The Twitter CEO sat down with satire site the Babylon Bee to explain.

According to Elon, “The essence of a lot of comedy is a revealed truth.”

Elon believes that in truly funny comedy, there’s a moment of revealed, “unacknowledged truth.”

“And in that unacknowledged truth is the humor. If you’re, you know, premised on a lie, you can no longer be funny because there’s no real truth.”

He says that this is why “a lot of people on the left have no sense of humor; they’re not funny.”

Dave Rubin is in full agreement.

“Yeah, he’s so right about that,” Rubin says.

He continues, “You can think of great stand-ups and the reason you like a stand-up, the reason they make you laugh, is there is that hidden truth. And they’re sort of getting you right to that line and then through the joke they can kind of trip over that line, and that’s what the release is.”

Rubin believes we’ve “wrecked comedy” now that “so many comics went woke and became sort of lefty lunatics.”

“If you’re premised on a lie, you can no longer be funny because there’s no reveal of truth,” Rubin says, quoting Elon in agreement.

Reporter gets DeSantis to react to Trump insult & his answer is perfect

Donald Trump has escalated his attacks on Ron DeSantis, but DeSantis isn’t taking it lying down.

The former president said that “even” former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo handled the pandemic better than the Florida governor.

To back up this assertion, Trump claimed in a video from his campaign that Florida had some of the highest number of deaths at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic while DeSantis shut down the state and other Republican governors did not.

A reporter then asked DeSantis if he planned to be a bit more aggressive in campaigning against Trump, and his response was interesting to say the least.

“So look, I’m going to respond to attacks,” DeSantis began.

“I mean if you say Cuomo did a better job with COVID than Florida did — first of all that’s not what he used to say. This is like new, like six months ago he would have never said that, right?”

“He used to say how great Florida was. Hell, his whole family moved to Florida under my governorship. Are you kidding me?” DeSantis continued.

Dave Rubin thought his response was a good one.

“You know, it’s not that hard to speak clearly when you’re telling the truth,” Rubin said.

Rubin continued, saying, “But it is true. Like, all of Trump’s family lives here now. Several of his kids and all of his grandchildren moved to Florida during COVID because of the policies of Ron DeSantis.”

Rubin added that Trump is spending all of his energy on attacking DeSantis while he’s hardly mentioning Biden at all.

“I would recommend you look at Trump’s Truth Social feed,” Rubin suggested.

Trump vs. DeSantis war gets ugly with latest attacks

Former President Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis may be on the same political side — but they definitely don’t show it.

Trump has launched a myriad of attacks against DeSantis, but this one is a little different.

Trump says, “Ron DeSantis is a young man, who is not doing well against me in the polls, to put it mildly. I believe that if he decides to run for president — which will only hurt and somewhat divide the Republican party — which we don’t need.” He continues, “He will lose the cherished and massive MAGA vote, and never be able to successfully run for office again. I believe that. If he remains governor, which is what Florida voters assumed he would do, it would be a whole different story.”

“Just say it,” he ends.

Dave Rubin believes this is a massive change in Trump’s attitude toward DeSantis, and it’s based on fear.

Rubin says, “I know a huge percentage of my audience is on the Trump 2024 train, and again there’s a good chance I’ll end up voting for him and you know all my disclaimers related to all this — but you really need to acknowledge a truth here.”

This truth, he continues, is that “this is the first time we are seeing Trump absolutely quaking in his boots afraid of another candidate.”

“He’s basically begging him not to run,” Rubin finishes.
