Black teacher claims racism after 'mob' of students in MAGA gear shouted 'f*** Kamala' on Election Day — now lawsuit looms

A black teacher at Beverly Hills High School is claiming racism after a "mob" of students — dressed in MAGA gear and carrying a flag in support of Donald Trump — shouted "f*** Kamala" on Election Day. Now a lawsuit reportedly is looming.

You can view KTTV-TV's video report here about the controversy. The video's title indicates that two black teachers are suing the school over racism and discrimination, but the station didn't note the identity of the second teacher.

'Beverly Hills High School, and in fact the city of Beverly Hills, have demonstrated racism again and again against its students and its teachers.'

Bella Ivory — who teaches fashion design at the school, according to KABC-TV — recounted to KTTV her heightened "fears" over the pro-Trump students.

"There was just a mob of kids, just so many kids outside my door," Ivory said in one video segment, adding, "I'm gonna tell you how scary it was." She told KTTV the group tried to enter her classroom. Ivory's attorney Brad Gage told KABC the students terrorized a Black Student Union meeting led by Ivory.

"Some of the students were shouting 'f*** Kamala' as they walked down the hallway," Ivory stated in another video segment. "The profanity toward our vice president — who is part black — combined with students congregating in front of my classroom increased my fears and also the students' fears who were locked inside that room with me."

Ivory added that she has reported racism on campus since 2022 and that those concerns have been ignored, KTTV noted. Ivory is now on leave for fear of her safety, KABC reported, adding that she said school administrators told her they would meet with her, but that hasn't happened.

KTTV's video report shared a separate clip showing a student pointing out feces on a restroom floor, then focusing on a racist comment on the restroom wall. Another clip showed two female students saying, "Let's take a minute to appreciate how nice, beautiful, and clean our cafeteria looks right now. Now let's fast-forward to lunch." With that the clip showed black students eating in the cafeteria and then switched to the girls commenting, "This is disgusting. … I'm repulsed."

Gage told KTTV in regard to the video clips, "It's clear what it signifies. They are associating the presence of black students with the cafeteria being dirty. That is the epitome of racism."

KTTV said Gage has filed a formal complaint with the Beverly Hills Unified School District on Ivory's behalf, adding that he plans to escalate the case with a lawsuit, citing "discrimination, harassment, retaliation, racial comments, and physical threats."

"Beverly Hills High School, and in fact the city of Beverly Hills, have demonstrated racism again and again against its students and its teachers," Gage added to KABC.

KABC said it reached out to the school for comment on the lawsuit but has not heard back. According to KTTV, the school district previously stated it is investigating all claims of racism and harassment to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Not the only related accusation

Ivory's claims against Beverly Hills High School aren't isolated. Readers of Blaze News may recall that a Beverly Hills High School substitute teacher last month said she was fired due to anti-Trump posts on Facebook.

“I was shocked; I thought I’d get a warning,” Joanie Garratt told the Los Angeles Times. “I didn’t say anything [about Trump] in class. I know not to say anything in class. But I am disgusted with MAGA, and Beverly Hills High School has become MAGA.”

Garratt wrote on Facebook in regard to her claims, “I WEAR THIS AS BADGE OF HONOR and stand with all the teachers, past & present, who will be persecuted for expressing their views in public forum. SHAME ON BHUSD.”

The Times said a district spokesperson didn't immediately respond to the paper's request for comment regarding Garratt’s firing.

Limiting students' ability to assemble

KABC in a separate story published days after Trump's election victory last month reported that Beverly Hills High School has limited students' ability to assemble in large groups following pro-Trump students' boisterous demonstrations.

"While student political expression is an important tenet, it does have limits," Drew Stewart, the high school's principal, said in a statement, according to the station. "Unfortunately, over the past two days there have been multiple instances of students assembling in a manner that has created a material disruption to the operation of our school, as well as the education of our students."

More from the station:

Students will not be allowed to assemble, create moving mobs, or form circles for the purpose of shouting, jumping, and physically contacting others, according to the statement.

This comes after a TikTok video showed dozens of students on the Beverly Hills High School campus gathered to celebrate Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election.

You can view a video report about the decision here. It isn't clear whether the new policy is still in effect.

Texas Rangers remain only Major League Baseball team to resist hosting a Pride night despite annual pressure

Major League Baseball team the Texas Rangers have remained the only organization in the league to not host a Pride night, gay pride-themed game, or any other promotion of the sort.

In fact, according to Breitbart, the team has not hosted any sort of celebration of the kind since 2003. That year, the team invited several "LGBTQ+ groups" to the stadium, however the event was reportedly not officially marketed and was met with protests. That was the last time anything in the realm of such a celebration was held.

Media outlets, such as the Dallas Morning News, which has recirculated a 2021 article on the topic, seemingly conduct routine check-ins with the Rangers' organization each season. In fact, the 2021 piece rehashes comments Rangers COO Neil Leibman gave to the paper in 2020.

“With respect to Pride Night, we reached out to the Resource Center and said what can we do internally,” Leibman began. “We immediately adopted some changes they suggested to be more inclusive in hiring practices. I think that’s more meaningful than just saying ‘OK, we had a Pride Night.’"

“BREAKING: Professional baseball team decides to focus on baseball instead of promoting new imperial religion. Currently boasts second best record in the league.”
— Tyler Carditis (@Tyler Carditis) 1685933731

The article also noted that Rafael McDonnell, a liaison between pro sports teams and the LGBTQ Resource Center, attempted to pressure the Texas ball club into hosting a celebratory night. McDonnell scheduled a probing meeting with the MLB's ambassador for inclusion in Dallas, which then led to a meeting with the Texas team itself in October 2019. The activist reportedly showed two Texas Rangers staffers how other teams were promoting gay pride at ball parks and with merchandising, but the efforts appear to have fallen short to this day.

Despite the team adjusting its hiring practices, McDonnell was still unsatisfied and said "I think you can do both.”

Outsports also reported in August 2022 that while the Texas Rangers were a "Platinum Corporate Sponsor" for the "Gay Softball World Series" in Dallas that year, McDonnell was still bothered that the organization did not and doesn't "publicly acknowledge" their efforts.

“Celebrating community, pride, and love of baseball! #Pride”
— MLB (@MLB) 1685628272

As well, the Dallas Morning Observer managed to connect the team's lack of World Series Championships with their lack of Pride nights in 2022. "Zero prizes. No pride," the outlet wrote. "[After] another lousy, losing year on the field, the front office will stubbornly retain its reputation as the last homophobic holdout."

Despite this airtight correlation, the Rangers have managed to be the second best team overall for the 2023 season at the time of this publication despite not breaking their "holdout."

The first-ever Pride game held in the MLB was by the Chicago Cubs in 2001.

'Bloodbath': Fox News suffers ratings crash, prime-time viewership plummets in key demo

The ratings of Fox News continue to crash following the firing of Tucker Carlson.

In its first week without Carlson, Fox News Channel’s prime-time viewership tumbled 29.6% from the previous week.

The Los Angeles Times reported, "Fox News Channel averaged 1.449 million viewers for its prime-time programming between April 24 and Sunday, third among cable networks, according to live-plus-same-day figures released by Nielsen on Tuesday."

Carlson's 8 p.m. time slot has been replaced with "Fox News Tonight," which was hosted by Brian Kilmeade last week and Lawrence Jones this week.

Approximately 1.48 million viewers tuned in to "Fox News Tonight" on Tuesday. By comparison, Carlson averaged over 3 million total viewers per night from April 17 to 21 – the final week of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" airing on Fox News.

In Carlson's final week before being fired, episodes of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" accounted for the five most-watched programs on Fox News.

On Tuesday, "Fox News Tonight" lagged behind in the key 25-54 age demographic against the direct competition of MSNBC's "All in with Chris Haynes" and CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360."

Blaze Media CEO Tyler Cardon noted that Fox News Channel's 25-54 demographic ratings have crashed by a whopping 75% since Carlson was fired by the cable news network compared to the first-quarter ratings of this year.

“Since firing Tucker Carlson, Fox News Channel’s ratings in the all-important 25-54 demo have fallen off a cliff:

•6pm ET: -42%
•7pm ET: -62%
•8pm ET: -75%
•9pm ET: -70%
•10pm ET: -66%
•11pm ET: -49%

Oof.”
— Tyler Carditis (@Tyler Carditis) 1683139052

Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly called the ratings of her former employer a "bloodbath."

"Bloodbath. Not even Bud Lite (which is currently giving away its beer in an effort to get ppl to pls pls drink it) lost this much of its customer base," Kelly tweeted on Wednesday.

“Bloodbath.
Not even Bud Lite (which is currently giving away its beer in an effort to get ppl to pls pls drink it) lost this much of its customer base.”
— Megyn Kelly (@Megyn Kelly) 1683149946

Last week, Kelly said that Fox News is "clearly determined to destroy" Carlson.

The few bright spots for Fox News in the key demo were the "The Five" hosted by Greg Gutfeld in the 5 p.m. time slot with 301,000 viewers and "Gutfeld!" in the 11 p.m. slot with 216,000 key demo viewers.

Some of the disgruntled Fox News audience may have migrated to Newsmax.

"On the day Carlson was fired, Newsmax's 8 p.m. offering — hosted by former Fox News host Eric Bolling — drew a competitive 531,000 total viewers, five times larger than a week earlier and only 200,000 behind CNN's 8 p.m. hour," according to the Washington Post. "Bolling's show got up to 562,000 on Tuesday night but then dropped to 456,000 by Thursday."

A new poll shows that Tucker could have an immediate audience if he were to launch his own independent show.

According to a Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey of 1,500 eligible U.S. voters conducted on April 30, 36% of Americans would be "significantly likely" or "likely" to watch an independent online show hosted by Carlson.

Carlson's popularity was evident in a video released on Twitter after his termination. The video went viral with over 80 million views and was liked more than 970,000 times.

'God made me transgender' trans activist claims after referring to God with female pronoun

During an appearance on MSNBC, transgender activist Charlotte Clymer used a female pronoun to refer to God and claimed that "God made me transgender."

"God made me in her image," said Clymer, who noted attending church each Sunday. "God made me transgender."

Clymer identifies as a transgender woman and as a lesbian. A transgender woman is a biological man who identifies as a woman.

During a message exchange with Tyler O'Neil of the Daily Signal, Clymer stood by the choice to refer to God using the pronoun: "God is all and everything. I don't think it's the least bit wrong to refer to God as 'Her,'" Clymer wrote, according to a screenshot O'Neil posted on Twitter.

— Tyler O'Neil (@Tyler O'Neil) 1680200463

During the same MSNBC segment on which Clymer appeared, founding director of the Georgetown University Center on Faith and Justice Jim Wallis declared, "Guns are our new Molech," referring to a pagan god mentioned in scripture. "We're sacrificing our children to Molech," he claimed.

A shooter who killed three kids and three adults at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, was fatally shot by law enforcement on Monday. The Washington Post reported that police spokesperson Don Aaron indicated in an email that the shooter was "a biological woman who, on a social media profile, used male pronouns."

President Joe Biden on Thursday proclaimed March 31, 2023 "Transgender Day of Visibility" — he had previously issued proclamations in 2021and 2022 as well.

"Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates the joy, strength, and absolute courage of some of the bravest people I know — people who have too often had to put their jobs, relationships, and lives on the line just to be their true selves. Today, we show millions of transgender and nonbinary Americans that we see them, they belong, and they should be treated with dignity and respect," the proclamation reads in part.

Ex-NFL star accuses team of 'using' black coaches to lose

Ex-NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III spoke out against the Houston Texans' firing of their head coach, Lovie Smith, saying in a comment posted to Twitter that the team firing two black coaches in back-to-back years shouldn't "sit right" with anyone.

"The Houston Texans have fired Lovie Smith after 1 year. Using 2 Black Head Coaches to tank and then firing them after 1 year shouldn’t sit right with anyone," the commentator posted.

The Houston organization fired Coach David Culley in early 2022 after winning just four games, then fired Lovie Smith in early 2023 after just a three-win season.

“The Houston Texans have fired Lovie Smith after 1 year. Using 2 Black Head Coaches to tank and then firing them after 1 year shouldn’t sit right with anyone.”
— Robert Griffin III (@Robert Griffin III) 1673237631

The former Rookie of the Year agreed and disagreed with some fan replies regarding the argument surrounding the race of the coaches, responding to one comment in relation to the Denver Broncos firing their head coach, Nathaniel Hackett. Hackett was employed by the organization for just one year as well, after sporting a 5-12 record.

"Nathaniel Hackett getting fired in less than one season - no problem?" a fan asked.

"Hackett was fired for the team underperforming MASSIVELY after trading for Russell Wilson. Roster was SUPER BOWL Contender level like the Rams and Bucs were after getting Stafford and Brady. Texans hired Culley and Lovie knowing the roster was bad, then fired them for being bad," Griffin replied.

“@Franklaudone Hackett was fired for the team underperforming MASSIVELY after trading for Russell Wilson. — Robert Griffin III (@Robert Griffin III) 1673237631

An NFL reporter for USA Today echoed Griffin's sentiments and emphasized race in regard to the firings, saying, "Neither David Culley or Lovie Smith deserved to be fired. The Texans put two Black coaches in unwinnable situations and didn't even give them an opportunity to succeed."

— Tyler Dragon (@Tyler Dragon) 1673238159

"To make this a race issue is lazy," says sports writer and podcaster Gary Sheffield Jr.

"At some point we watch a situation unfold in the NFL and know how we can spin it and just choose not to. I like a lot of what RGIII puts out but there’s no question he’s ignoring the fact that Jeff Saturday, who I’m quite sure was born white, in Atlanta, was hired as an interim Head Coach to move the Colts into position to hire another coach next season," Sheffield added.

Sheffield was referring to the Indianapolis Colts' head coach, Jeff Saturday, who was widely criticized at the beginning of the 2022 season for being hired to simply coach a team that management knew would perform poorly. Saturday faced questions about his qualifications, despite being a Super Bowl champion, with his race brought into question at the time as well.

USA Today, MSN and SportsCasting all published articles stating that non-white coaches were perhaps better qualified for the role.

Video: People get inverted cross symbols on foreheads, recite 'Hail Satan' during 'unbaptism' ritual at Pagan Pride Fest

Self-professed Satanists, heathens, atheists, spiritualists and so-called "other'd folk" joined forces Saturday to "reclaim" a Texas city center from Christians.

Although the event's organizer Raynie Castañeda claimed the second annual Pagan Pride Fest in Tyler was "not satanic," it nevertheless saw droves of people pay to renounce their religious beliefs and hail the devil.

'Not doing anything satanic'

"We're just hanging out," Castañeda told the Tyler Morning Telegraph. "There's kids trick-or-treating, people getting their faces painted ... We're not doing anything satanic or any crazy rituals. We're just existing."

According to an event listing, the aim of the festival was to "gather & celebrate ourselves in the center of town, on our Good Old Square, which has historically been the place of our town's atrocities against BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Pagans, and any non-Christian folk. We reclaim this space in Honour of Ourselves, or our Gods, or our Ancestors,"

Promotional material indicated the event celebrated "ANY Pagan, Heathen, Satanist, Atheist, Spiritualist, any 'Other'd' folk who just don't know."

The Satanic Temple was among the groups present at the event, and its activists — wearing demonic masks and robes — charged passersby $10 for "unbaptisms" in which participants renounce "superstitions that may have been imposed upon them without their consent as a child."

Here's a clip of people receiving inverted cross symbols on their foreheads and reciting "Hail Satan!" as part of the unbaptisms:

“The Satanic Temple is performing “unbaptisims”.

After an upside down cross is drawn on their forehead they chant “Hail Satan”.”
— Tayler Hansen (@Tayler Hansen) 1667087462

The so-called unbaptized also given certificates stating, "All bonds of servitude have been broken. Power and agency have been restored. Thyself is thy master. Hail Satan!"

“The Satanic Temple is “unbaptizing” people for $10 each.”
— Tayler Hansen (@Tayler Hansen) 1667081402

Despite its name, the Satanic Temple shares more in common with leftist atheists in attendance Saturday. The group claims it does "not promote a belief in a personal Satan. To embrace the name Satan is to embrace rational inquiry removed from supernaturalism and archaic tradition-based superstitions."

While the Satanic Temple claims to reject "superstitions," it nevertheless shared the square with non-Christian "spiritualists" and self-proclaimed witches who invoked gods, ancestors and "spirits in a moment of healing and understanding."

Anti-Christian pride

When asked about their purpose for coming, one attendee told independent journalist Tayler Hansen that she wanted to "bother Christians":

“I talked to a mother and her child that were in attendance at the Satanic Temple event in Tyler, TX today.

The daughter stated that she “wants to bother Christians”.”
— Tayler Hansen (@Tayler Hansen) 1667091934

The event's anti-Christian zeal was evidenced by some of the attendees' costumes and imaging, which mocked priests, nuns, and beliefs held dear by approximately 63% of the American population.

Hansen also shared video of several individuals working to drone out the sound of one man's prayers during the "unbaptism" ritual:

“Members of the Temple Of Satan are dancing and cackling around a man praying for the attendees of the “Unbatism” event.”
— Tayler Hansen (@Tayler Hansen) 1667086159

Christian humility

A group of east Texas Christians gathered to pray ahead of the event, KVEO-TV reported.

"As a Christian, we're called to a spiritual battleground, and I think this is an opportunity to exercise our strength in our relationship with Christ," Lauren Ethredge-Langas, a member of the Church of the Pines, told the station.

Lauren noted to KVEO that she and others sought only to "pray and exercise our freedom of religion."

Pastor Donnell Walder of the W.O.W. Church underscored to the station that the Christian presence ahead of the Pagan Pride Fest was not combative: "We didn't come down to bash anyone's religion, but we wanted to stand as believers and pray."

Hansen documented a prayer procession and public blessing attended by a local Catholic group and led by Bishop J. Strickland:

“A local Catholic group blessed the grounds prior to the Satanic Temple event that was hosted in Tyler, TX today.”
— Tayler Hansen (@Tayler Hansen) 1667094440

Brandon and Kelsey Chrisman — members of the Gospel Barn in Troup — told the Tyler Morning Telegraph they were "just showing love and trying to bring light to the darkness as much as we can. We're not here to judge — just love."

Left-wing academic violates Twitter rules by wishing Queen Elizabeth II an 'excruciating' death

As the world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, a self-described feminist university professor was roundly condemned for wishing the queen an "excruciating" death.

"I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating," Carnegie Mellon University linguistics professor Dr. Uju Anya wrote on Twitter Thursday morning after news broke that doctors were concerned for the queen's health. Her tweet has since been taken down for violating Twitter rules.

But Anya's sentiments were shared by a handful of other left-wing academics and media personalities, who called the queen a "colonizer" and expressed disdain for the British empire.

"Real question for the 'now is not the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism' crowd: When is the appropriate time to talk about the negative impact of colonialism?" Washington Post national political reporter Eugene Scott tweeted.

However, many others swiftly condemned Anya and came to the defense of the queen and her legacy.

“This is someone supposedly working to make the world better?” billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos wrote, quoting Anya's tweet. "I don't think so. Wow."

Anya posted a follow-up message at 1:51 p.m. ET after Buckingham Palace announced that Queen Elizabeth II had passed.

'The absolute dumbest time to be alive': Toronto Police Service announces 'Missing Woman' described as having a 'full goatee'

The Toronto Police Service raised eyebrows on Thursday by tweeting about a "Missing Woman" while posting the photo of an individual who looks like a bearded man.

"The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a missing woman. Isobella Degrace, 27, was last seen on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 3 a.m., in the Ryerson Avenue and Bathurst Street area. She is described as 5’10", with a thin build, shaggy blonde hair, and a full goatee. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and grey pants. Police are concerned for her safety," a news release states.

The Toronto Police Service's seemingly preposterous post caught many people's attention, including Blaze Media CEO Tyler Cardon who remarked, "My goodness. It's real. The absolute dumbest time to be alive."

'That’s not how it works boss': Critics pounce on Biden tweet that suggests having 'corporations pay their fair share' would help to reduce inflation

The Biden administration is suggesting that making corporations cough up "their fair share" would help alleviate the nation's inflation problem.

"You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share," a tweet posted Friday on President Joe Biden's "@JoeBiden" Twitter account declared.

The tweet comes as Americans are being clobbered by soaring inflation that is rapidly eating away at the purchasing power of their hard-earned money.

Critics pounced on Biden's post.

"That’s not how it works boss. Stop printing so much money and the free market will take care of the rest," Anthony Pompliano tweeted.

"The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead. Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection," Amazon founder Jeff Bezos tweeted.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released new consumer price index data earlier this week. "The all items index increased 8.3 percent for the 12 months ending April, a smaller increase than the 8.5-percent figure for the period ending in March," the BLS noted.

As Americans are sinking in a raging sea of inflation, 80 U.S. senators on Thursday voted in favor of confirming Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell to a second term.

"President Biden has a plan to tackle inflation – by lowering costs that families face and lowering the federal deficit by asking the large corporations and the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share," a White House press release states.

The release says that, "one of the main ways Congress and the executive branch can act to lower price pressures is to reduce the federal budget deficit."

"President Biden’s plan will make the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations pay their fair share, including through a new Billionaires’ Minimum Income Tax. By enacting reforms to make corporations and the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share, Congress can lower the deficit even more, while also lowering costs for families," the press release states.
