New York Supreme Court Reinstates NYC Workers Fired Under ‘Arbitrary And Capricious’ Covid Jab Mandate

'The vaccination for City employees was not just about safety and public health; it was about compliance,' the court concluded.

Video: Massive trucker protest takes over Ottawa. Justin Trudeau reportedly moved to secret location ahead of 'Freedom Convoy' rally.

Truckers and protesters showed up in huge numbers as the Freedom Convoy descended upon Ottawa, Ontario. Despite subzero windchill temperatures on Saturday, Canadians mounted a large protest against vaccine mandates. Massive crowds peacefully protested against government overreach near Parliament Hill.

Truckers were protesting an order that went into effect on Jan. 15, requiring unvaccinated Canadian truckers re-entering the country from the U.S. to get tested for COVID-19 and quarantine themselves. There was reportedly a convoy of up to 50,000 Canadian truck drivers who traveled to Canada's capital to protest the vaccine mandates.

The CBC reported that Trudeau left Rideau Cottage early Saturday for security reasons, and was transported to a secret location with his family.

Trudeau's press secretary Ann-Clara Vaillancourt responded, "The Prime Minister is continuing to isolate in the National Capital Region & work remotely. We’ve consulted Ottawa Public Health on appropriate protocols. As always, we do not comment on security matters."

Last week, Trudeau called the trucker convoy a "small fringe minority of people" who are "holding unacceptable views that they are expressing do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other."

There were thousands of protesters, many waving Canadian flags and some were holding signs expressing contempt toward Trudeau.

Some truckers said they plan on continuing their protest against the vaccine mandates, and will sleep in the cabs of their trucks.

In a letter to the truckers, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe pledged to end proof of vaccination policies in the province.

"My government supports your call to end the cross border ban on unvaccinated truckers," Moe said in the statement released on Saturday. "And it is why, in the not too-distant future, our government will be ending our proof of negative test/proof of vaccination policy in Saskatchewan."

Russell Brand, Don Cherry, Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, and Elon Musk have voiced their support of the "Freedom Convoy."

During a rally in Texas on Saturday night, former President Donald Trump delivered an endorsement of the Canadian truckers.

"We want those great Canadian truckers to know that we are with them all the way," Trump said. "They are doing more to defend American freedom than our leaders by far."

As MASSIVE truck convoy against vax mandates approaches, Canadian PM Trudeau goes into self-isolation due to COVID exposure

A massive convoy of an estimated 35,000 to 50,000 truckers protesting against vaccine mandates is currently making its way across Canada, with cheering crowds lining the streets and filling up overpasses along the way. According to Guinness World Records, the "Freedom Convoy," which kicked off in British Columbia and plans to arrive in the Canadian capital Ottowa by Saturday, may be the longest truck convoy ever recorded. So, why isn't this potentially record-breaking protest getting more coverage in the media?

That's what journalist and radio host Kim Iversen wanted to know on a recent episode of The Hill's "Rising."

"The various anti-mandate protests around the world have been getting little to no coverage, even though thousands upon thousands have been taking to the streets," Iverson began.

"What's interesting about this convoy [in Canada] is it's getting hardly any coverage at all inside of Canada, or really anywhere. It's a near media blackout, which oddly seems to be the same thing happening in Europe and even here in the United States, in regards to all of the other protests," Iverson said.

"There's been some interesting and even eyebrow-raising opposition to the convoy," she continued. "There's the obvious and blatant media blackout. Some could say the reason the media isn't covering it is because it's small and fringe, but social media users are showing crowds gathered on the streets in nearly every town the truckers roll through, and on many of the overpasses in the towns that the truckers pass. Also, the convoy has raised over 5 million dollars through GoFundMe, and I'd say this is not small or fringe ... definitely not as small or fringe as the government wants it to be."

Iverson went on to point out that "of course there's those looking to demonize and discredit the protest by claiming those who are participating are 'alt-right' or 'anti-vaxxers'. Gerald Butts, the former principal secretary to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, called the group 'separatists.' So now people on social media are equating the group to terrorists, which seems to be where we're at these days. Anyone protesting anything at all, be it police brutality, masking kids, election outcomes, or vaccine mandates, is now a radical terrorist in some form."

Iverson called out Prime Minister Trudeau by sharing a tweet from Trudeau in March, 2020, that has not aged well.

While many of us are working from home, there are others who aren’t able to do that - like the truck drivers who are working day and night to make sure our shelves are stocked. So when you can, please #ThankATrucker for everything they’re doing and help them however you can.
— Justin Trudeau (@Justin Trudeau) 1585699286

Trudeau said in a tweet that he will be "isolating for five days" after learning that he was exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19. Though his rapid test came back negative, Ottawa Health rules apparently require that the prime minister will be in isolation throughout the weekend, when the trucker convoy is scheduled to arrive in Ottawa.

Last night, I learned that I have been exposed to COVID-19. My rapid test result was negative. I am following @OttawaHealth rules and isolating for five days. I feel fine and will be working from home. Stay safe, everyone – and please get vaccinated.

Video shows vaccine mandate protesters stage sit-in at popular Times Square restaurant: 'They arrested me for trying to eat at Olive Garden'

People protesting New York City's restrictive vaccine mandate staged a protest at the popular Olive Garden restaurant in Times Square on Friday night. Several protesters were arrested following the boisterous demonstration.

A group of New Yorkers launched a protest at the Olive Garden to show their disdain for the city's vaccine mandate that requires people ages 5 to 12 to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and people 12 and older to show proof of two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

Video shows the protesters — who refused to provide the restaurant with verification that they had received the COVID-19 vaccine — gathered in the Olive Garden restaurant.

"Victorious, we shut them down," a demonstrator boasts as employees of the restaurant refuse to serve the unmasked protesters.

"Take off your mask, free your face," another protester tells employees of the restaurant. "Stand up to your bosses."

The protesters chanted "U-S-A!" and sang "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Oliya Scootercaster of Freedom News TV reported that the restaurant closed after the protesters were there for two hours. The protest was over by 10:40 p.m., but the restaurant allegedly shut down before its usual Friday closing time of 1 a.m.

New York Police Department officers were summoned to the restaurant, and most of the demonstrators dispersed.

Video from independent photojournalist Leeroy Johnson shows protesters being escorted out in handcuffs by NYPD officers.

"I got arrested. They arrested me for trying to eat at Olive Garden, that’s what happened," a protester said.

While being taken away by police, a protester shouts, "This is the Civil Rights movement again!"

Another demonstrator screamed, "Wake up New York! Wake the f*** up!"

Some onlookers applauded the protesters and called them "heroes."

Four protesters were arrested after refusing to leave the restaurant, according to the New York Post. "Three men and a woman were expected to be charged with trespassing, according to officials," the outlet reported. There were no reports of vandalism, according to Fox News.

There have been similar anti-vaccine passport protests at restaurants in New York City, including at Carmine's in the Upper West Side, Cheesecake Factory in Queens, and a Burger King in Brooklyn.

Massive Protests Erupt In Australia Over Worsening COVID Authoritarianism

Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Australia over the weekend to oppose the country's overreaching vaccine coercion and lockdown efforts.
