Canceled doctor discusses new movie exposing alleged lies about mumps vaccine with BlazeTV's Sara Gonzales

Sara Gonzales, host of BlazeTV's "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered," sits down with a British doctor who was canceled decades ago because he dared to question a common vaccine.

In 1993, Andrew Wakefield was a doctor specializing in gastroenterology in London when he began to have doubts about the childhood vaccine known as MMR, which stands for measles, mumps, and rubella. Around that time, Wakefield claimed parents began contacting him, complaining that their children began showing frightening symptoms following their MMR vaccination.

"I started getting calls from parents saying, 'My child was perfectly well. They had speech and language interaction with their siblings, they were developing normally healthy, and then they had an MMR vaccine, and they had a seizure and they were never the same again," Wakefield recalled to Gonzales.

Those children were often then diagnosed with autism, prompting concerns about a possible link between vaccinations in general and autism. But Wakefield did not want parents to ditch vaccines altogether. Rather, he wanted children to receive three separate vaccines — one for measles, mumps, and rubella — perhaps a year apart.

The British government took a different view, Wakefield claimed. "If we allowed parents the choice [to have separate vaccines], it would destroy our MMR program," officials allegedly told Wakefield.

Merck, the pharmaceutical company which manufactures MMR, likewise withdrew the individual vaccines in the U.S., he said.

The retaliation against Wakefield was swift and fierce. He eventually lost his medical license and was shunned by many in the medical community. Wakefield chronicled his fight against MMR in the 2016 documentary "Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe."

Wakefield has now directed a second feature film about vaccines called "Protocol-7." The title, he told Gonzales, relates to the protocol apparently used by Merck to mislead parents about the efficacy of its mumps vaccine. "It is a way of misrepresenting the results — which they ultimately give to the FDA — that ... seeks to show that their vaccine is doing something that they say on the product-insert it's doing, but in reality is not doing," he explained.

"Protocol-7" stars Rachel G. Whittle as Lexi Koprowski, a small-town lawyer who begins demanding answers after her adoptive son starts evincing signs of autism following a mumps vaccination. The case against Merck, which she initiated, has been tied up in the courts for nearly 15 years.

Actor Matthew Marsden, who plays Dr. Jay in the movie, also joined Wakefield and Gonzales to discuss his role as well as his experiences in Hollywood after he chose not to take the COVID vaccine a few years ago, claiming he was treated as "the antichrist" and "an idiot."

Though the lockdowns and vaccine mandates were a dark period in recent memory, Wakefield believes the alleged lies surrounded the COVID vaccines will ultimately prove to be Big Pharma's "biggest mistake." "When I started, there were a handful of people worldwide who were prepared to talk about [problems with vaccines]," he said. "Now, ... more than half the adult population of the world are refusing to take the booster doses of the [COVID] vaccine."

Marsden agreed. "I think that if ever a good thing could have come out of COVID, it's that people are more receptive to movies like ['Protocol 7], that they will listen to other people's stories," he claimed.

Wakefield also wants to encourage parents to trust their instincts regarding vaccines and other forms of medical treatment for their children. "[The] main element of the movie was about the power of a mother's intuition," Wakefield said.

"She has to trust in her innate instinct as a mother to do what is best for her child and by proxy every child in the world."

"Protocol-7" is expected to be released soon.

"It is explosive," Gonzales said of "Protocol-7." "It's going to make your blood boil, but it is information that you need to know."

The episode of "Sara Gonzales Unfiltered" featuring Wakefield and Marsden drops Thursday evening at 7 p.m. for BlazeTV subscribers. Click here to subscribe today and enjoy this and other original content.

Unhinged leftist Stephen King dares readers to give his new work of anti-conservative propaganda a 1-star review

Stephen King is a prolific writer who made hundreds of millions of dollars telling stories about ghosts, curses, and violence against children.

Extra to penning best-sellers like "The Green Mile," "Carrie," "It," and "The Shining," the geriatric author has also moonlighted online as an unhinged leftist, mocking conservatives, firing off identitarian missives, peddling political conspiracy theories, downplaying the crisis at the southern border, demanding that others wear masks, and calling for those with whom he disagrees to be silenced.

No longer willing to compartmentalize his passions, King has reportedly produced a work of anti-conservative, pro-COVID-vaccine propaganda.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the the 75-year-old Democrat acknowledged that "a lot of people are not going to like" his new novel, "Holly," particularly not critics of COVID-19 vaccines and supporters of former President Donald Trump.

Rather than wait, King pre-emptively dared "people on the other side of the COVID issue and the Trump issue" to tank his new book's ratings, telling those who might be inclined to "give it one-star reviews on Amazon," "'Knock yourself out.'"

The titular character of King's new work of agitprop, recycled from his other works, "Mr. Mercedes" and "The Outsider," spends much of the book investigating the disappearance of a young woman. Along the way, she hypes the author's worldview.

Holly rejoices at Biden's 2020 electoral victory, weeps on Jan. 6, 2021, and makes sure to repeatedly advertise the fact of her mRNA vaccination and booster status, according to a review in the American Thinker.

The author made no secret of his intention to cram his political views into the novel, particular on the topic of COVID, telling Rolling Stone, "There's this constant story that thousands of people are dying of heart disease because of the vaccinations. It's not true, but it's gained a lot of credence. So there's a lot of that. And I tried to put that in the book."

King, who made a point of telling people to "get the damn vax" during the pandemic, kills off Holly's pro-life mother for having refused to get the mRNA vaccine after first attending an "anti-mask rally," where she waved around a "MY BODY MY CHOICE" sign.

The author further suggests in the book that nursing home deaths — which were especially bad under Democratic leadership in New York — were the result of vaccine hesitation, again on the part of his ideological foes.

Whereas the protagonists in "Holly" are reportedly all women, minorities, and/or homosexuals, the villains are pair of old racist white people who don't trust vaccines and eat people.

King makes his antipathies abundantly clear, going so far as to have a Christian family gang-rape a lesbian black vegan for the "sin" of not eating meat. The lesbian later kills her unborn baby.

NPR noted that "Covid-19 pandemic, racism and homophobia, the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and Donald Trump's effect on the country's zeitgeist and political discourse are all very present in the narrative," adding, "Holly is one of his most political novels to date, and it'll surely anger all the right people."

The "right people" who might be keen on taking King up on his recommendation to give his book a one-star review on Amazon can also follow suit on Goodreads.

Emails reveal that Biden White House pressured Facebook to censor vaccine memes, Tucker Carlson videos: 'Worse than anyone could ever have thought'

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) provided new damning insights into the lengths to which the Biden White House has gone to suppress speech and views online that it has found undesirable or threatening.

The internal Facebook documents shared to Twitter Thursday were obtained via subpoena by the House Judiciary Committee, which Jordan chairs. They reveal Facebook and Instagram censored content online following "unconstitutional pressure from the Biden White House."

Among the damning documents was an April 2021 email circulated by a Facebook employee, ostensibly on behalf of company CEO Mark Zuckerberg and then-COO Sheryl Sandberg.

The email stated, "We are seeking your guidance on whether to take more aggressive action against certain vaccine discouraging content. We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the White House and the press, to remove more COVID-19 vaccine discouraging content."

The email specifies that the Biden White House took issue with a "vaccine discouraging humorous meme," which it told the social media company to delete.

The verboten meme in question used the "Pointing Rick Dalton" template, borrowing a still from the 2019 film "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," where Leonardo DiCaprio's character points out something on television.

This meme, which the Biden White House wanted erased from the platform, was captioned, "10 years from now you will be watching TV and hear .... 'Did you or a loved one take the covid vaccine? You may be entitled ...'" and apparently shared over 385,000 times.

— (@)

Jordan noted that another April 2021 email sent by former British politician and Facebook president of global affairs Nick Clegg had captured the Biden administration's apoplexy over the company's tardiness in censoring this meme.

Clegg told his team that Andy Slavitt, who served as a senior adviser to Biden and helped steer COVID-19 policy, "was outraged — not too strong a word to describe his reaction — that we did not remove this post which was third most highly ranked post in the data set we sent to him."

Slavitt, who stepped down in June 2021, was the Biden official who enraged many Americans after telling them they "could have all done a little bit better" and sacrificed more during the pandemic, reported the New York Post.

Despite his company's apparent censorious reflex, Clegg indicated he "countered" the Biden administration's demands, suggesting that "removing content like that would represent a significant incursion into traditional boundaries of free expression in the US."

However, Clegg noted that Slavitt "replied that the post was directly comparing Covid vaccines to asbestos poisoning in a way which demonstrably inhibits confidence in Covid vaccines amongst those the Biden Administration is trying to reach."

Memes related to vaccines were not the only information the Biden administration was actively downplaying at the time.

TheBlaze previously reported that emails recently obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request revealed the Biden administration knew as early as January 2021 — one month after the Food and Drug Administration first granted emergency use authorization for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines — that there were "breakthrough" infections despite COVID-19 vaccination. The administration indicated otherwise and imposed mandates anyway.

The Biden administration apparently wasn't just intolerant of humorous memes but also of the free press.

Jordan noted that internal documents also revealed that the Biden White House pressured Facebook to censor a video from former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The company appeared willing to at least meet the regime halfway.

One document marked "confidential treatment requested[,] not for distribution" contains talking points apparently drafted for Clegg to "appease the Biden White House," according to Jordan.

The document states that if Slavitt asks "How was this [Tucker Carlson] post not violative?" Clegg could answer, "While we remove content that explicitly directs people not to get the vaccine, as well as content that contains explicit misrepresentations about vaccines, we reviewed this content in detail and it does not violate those policies."

Despite this acknowledgment that Carlson had not violated the platform's policies, the talking points note that his content was nevertheless being suppressed.

"The video is receiving 50% demotion for seven days as it is in the queue to be fact checked," said the document.

Following Biden's July 2021 accusation that Facebook was "killing people" by carrying so-called COVID misinformation, a Facebook document from Aug. 2, 2021, indicates the company got to work brainstorming new rules and policies to impose on users "to be more aggressive against Covid and vaccine misinformation," admitting that "this is stemming from the continued criticism of our approach from the US administration."

Jordan concluded from these and other documents that "the Biden Admin abused its powers to coerce Facebook into censoring Americans, preventing free and open discourse on issues of critical public importance."

Facebook spokesman Andy Stone confirmed to Forbes that the company had provided these documents to the House Judiciary Committee.

This late bout of cooperation appears to have been what temporarily dissuaded Jordan from calling a vote to hold Zuckerberg in contempt of Congress after he had allegedly evaded a congressional subpoena.

Stone indicated the company "will continue to comply, as we have thus far, with good faith requests from the committee."

The New York Post reported that in the wake of these insights into the Biden White House's apparent clampdown on American free speech, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended the apparent censorship campaign, saying, "We have promoted responsible actions to protect public health, safety and security when confronted by challenges like a deadly pandemic and foreign attacks on our elections."

Jean-Pierre added, "We have consistently made clear that we believe social media companies have a critical responsibility to take account of the effects of their platforms that they have on the American people."

Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald tweeted, "Dem spent years denying there is a system of the US Security State and WH to coerce Big Tech to censor political content they disliked, calling those of us who denounced it 'conspiracy theorists.' Now the evidence is dispositive - more here - so now they explicitly defend it."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Biden's top Democratic rival going into the 2024 presidential primary, said, "These new documents obtained under Congressional subpoena show the shocking extent of Biden White House's contempt for the First Amendment."

Twitter CEO Elon Musk wrote, "Extremely concerning!"

Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, suggested the documents reveal "impeachable censorship violations of our civil rights by Joe Biden."

The Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government tweeted, "It was worse than anyone could ever have thought."

New York City officials say private sector vax mandates are 'indefinite'

New York City plans to indefinitely continue the city’s vaccine mandate for private-sector employees who work on-site and will continue to enforce an in-school mask mandate for children aged 5 and under.

On Friday, the city’s new health commissioner, Ashwin Vasan, said he did not have any specific benchmark or timeline in mind for when the city would lift the private-sector vaccine requirement, the Epoch Times reported.

He said, “I would love to sit here and say I can give you a date or a data point to say when we would lift those things. Right now, we are in a low-risk environment and we will continue to evaluate that data.”

When asked specifically whether the city had any metrics in mind, Vasan said, “I think it’s indefinite at this point.”

“People who have tried to predict what will happen in the future for this pandemic have repeatedly found egg on their face, as they say,” he added, “And I’m not going to do that here today.”

The city’s private sector vaccine mandate was announced in December 2021 under former Mayor Bill de Blasio and mandated that all private employers require their workers to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

In October 2021, De Blasio announced a vaccine mandate for all public sector workers in the city.

Vasasn indicated that the city’s color-coded risk alert system provides the city government with “very clear benchmarks” about the ongoing state of the COVID-19 pandemic as the system indicates hospitalization rates and rates of hospital bed occupancy.

When asked whether the city had any intention to lift school mask mandates for children under five-years-old, Vasan said, “We’ll keep evaluating whether that mandate should stay in place, and right now we think it should stay in place.”

“We have consistently seen disproportionate hospital rates in the under 5 population compared with other childhood groups, and as a father of a two-and-a-half-year-old and two other old kids, I want to keep them as safe as possible,” Vasan said.

He continued, “I would love nothing more than to send my son to day care without a mask, but as a scientist and as a doctor and an epidemiologist, I want to keep him safe especially because he’s not eligible for a vaccine.”

Vasan’s statements come as New York City confronts a new form of the Omicron variant which, reportedly, is rapidly spreading through New York.

The BA.2 subvariant currently accounts for roughly 40 percent of covid cases in the state of New York.

Convoy of American truckers hits Washington, DC, takes laps on the Beltway

The American answer to Canada’s Freedom Convoy has arrived.

The trucker convoy drove around the Capital Beltway — the metropolitan interstate highway loops surrounding Washington, D.C. — before heading back to Hagerstown, Maryland to regroup and organize, NBC News reported.

Last month, lawmakers in the D.C. metropolitan area requested support from the National Guard as they prepared for thousands of American truckers to descend on the nation’s capital.

Organizers of the American trucker convoy requested a permit from the National Park Service to allow 1,000 to 3,000 people to gather in Washington, D.C., as they protest policy pertaining to domestic energy production, mandatory COVID-19 vaccination, and federal disregard for immigration law.

Bob Bolus, an organizer of the American trucker convoy — known as the “People’s Convoy” — said that protesters are interested in shutting down the Capital Beltway like a “giant boa constrictor that basically squeezes you.”

The People’s Convoy left California in late February, and according to the New York Times, there are at least 1,000 trucks, recreational vehicles, and cars participating in the protest.

One man, who described himself as the lead trucker in the convoy, said he plans to drive his rig into the heart of Washington, D.C.

He said, “D.C., the government, whomever, can claim that they have all this opposition for us waiting in D.C., but the flag on the back of my truck will go down to Constitution Avenue between the White House and the Washington Monument.”

Christopher Rodriguez, the director of the District of Columbia Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, said that if the People’s Convoy enters Washington, there will be authorities waiting for them.

He said, “We’ve been preparing for this for over a month now. In the event we do see impact in the district, those personnel and equipment can help move traffic through with the support of the Metropolitan Police Department.”

The People’s Convoy is one of several protests inspired by the Canadian Freedom Convoy.

People gathered across the world in places like New Zealand, France, Austria, and now the United States to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Most of these protests, however, occurred in nations that do not have legally guaranteed protections for peaceful assembly and protests and were subsequently squashed.

In Canada, for instance, the police enforced a “zero tolerance” policy for “any activity in the area” where the Freedom Convoy assembled to protest, per NBC News.

In the aftermath of the Canadian government cracking down on the protests, Canadian police vowed to identify anyone involved in the protests and issue them with financial sanctions and criminal charges.

Republican leaders commit to investigating GoFundMe because the company took down the Freedom Convoy's fundraiser

Prominent GOP officials throughout the country are committed to investigating actions taken by GoFundMe in dissolving the fundraiser for Canadian truckers in the Freedom Convoy and refusing to distribute funds raised on their behalf.

The widely popular fundraiser generated several million dollars for the anti-vaccine mandate protesters before GoFundMe shut it down and refused to pay out the donations.

Newsweek reported that “The fundraising effort had raised C$10 million — around $7.9 million — and C$1 million had already been distributed to the organizers of the so-called Freedom Convoy before GoFundMe took the decision to stop the fundraiser. GoFundMe initially announced on Friday it would refund contributions to anyone who applied and the remaining funds would be distributed to charities chosen by the Freedom Convoy organizers and verified by the crowdfunding site.”

However, after intense backlash, GoFundMe changed course and opted to refund all donations made to the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser.

To simplify the process for our users, we will be refunding all donations to the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser. This refund will happen automatically—you do not need to submit a request. Donors can expect to see refunds within 7-10 business days.
— GoFundMe (@GoFundMe) 1644047784

GoFundMe shutdown the convoy’s saying that it no longer could be considered a peaceful protest.

“We now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity,” GoFundMe wrote, “Following a review of relevant facts and multiple discussions with local law enforcement and city officials, this fundraiser is now in violation of our Terms of Service … and has been removed from the platform.”

The Ottawa Police advocated for all crowdfunding websites to prevent the Freedom Convoy from fundraising.

We want to thank @gofundme for listening to our concerns as a City and a police service. The decision to withhold funding for these unlawful demonstrations is an important step and we call on all crowdfunding sites to follow.
— Ottawa Police (@Ottawa Police) 1644020207

Saturday morning, Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he will work alongside Florida’s Attorney General to investigate GoFundMe and its deceptive practices. Governor DeSantis labeled the company’s tactics as “fraud.”

It is a fraud for @gofundme to commandeer $9M in donations sent to support truckers and give it to causes of their own choosing.

I will work with @AGAshleyMoody to investigate these deceptive practices — these donors should be given a refund.
— Ron DeSantis (@Ron DeSantis) 1644073468

The Attorneys General of several states including West Virginia, Louisiana, and Ohio matched Governor DeSantis’ righteous indignation and made clear that they intend to hold GoFundMe accountable for any potentially illegal acts they committed by terminating the Freedom Convoy’s fundraiser.

Patrick Morrisey, the Attorney General of West Virginia, told his constituents that if they were victimized to let his office know.

#GoFundMe now won’t honor #FreedomConvoy donations and will instead redirect to other charities?

In WV, organizations must not deceive donors and engage in deceptive advertising practices.

If you’ve been victimized by a deceptive act or practice, let us know!
— Patrick Morrisey (@Patrick Morrisey) 1644033328

Louisiana’s Attorney General Eric Schmitt said that GoFundMe’s actions were “totally unacceptable” and that he would be “investigating” the company's “deceptive practices.”

It’s totally unacceptable for @gofundme to siphon over $9M in donations sent to support #TruckersForFreedom2020 & funnel it to causes it supports.

I will be investigating these deceptive practices. Donors should be given a refund.#TruckersConvoy2022 #TruckersForFreedom
— Eric Schmitt (@Eric Schmitt) 1644080262

And, Dave Yost, the Attorney General of Ohio, said that while refunding every donation was the “right thing to do” he still wanted to hear from Ohioans who gave to the Freedom Convoy.

In the last few minutes, #GoFundMe tweeted that they will refund all donations to #FreedomConvoy automatically.

That’s the right thing to do, but it is not the end of the story. I still want to hear from you if you donated.

This needs to not happen again!
— Attorney General Dave Yost (@Attorney General Dave Yost) 1644071030

It’s worth noting that in the Sumner of 2020, GoFundMe amplified fundraising attempts for people involved in the CHAZ/CHOP movement in downtown Seattle, Washington.

GoFundMe found the Freedom Convoy to be a violent movement worthy of suppression, but it deemed a violent secessionist movement that was a hotbed for rape and murder a worthy cause.

In a community with no police, this farmer is feeding people & bringing them closer together.

Learn how you can support Marcus' mission within the CHOP: https://gfme.co/chop-farmer https://twitter.com/Quicktake/status/1273971946858913793 …
— GoFundMe (@GoFundMe) 1593714914

GoFundMe’s message is clear. They, like countless other Western corporations, will advance the causes of violent leftists while actively working to suppress peaceful, patriotic movements.

Fauci Pushes For Local Vaccine Mandates, Calls Out ‘Red States’ And ‘The South’

Dr. Fauci advocated for vaccine mandates on CNN while also calling out 'red states' and 'the South' over more people choosing to forego COVID vaccines.
