The redefinition of pro-life — and the ‘religious’ cowards promoting it

Many Christians see the definition of pro-life as defending the lives of the unborn. However, over time, the meaning of the term has shifted — and it’s made its way into the church.

“They’ve been very propagandized into believing that any restriction on abortion, the overturning of Roe v. Wade, all that stuff, they will not say that restrictions are good,” Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable” tells the founder of the 1916 Project, Seth Gruber.

“They’ll say, ‘Well, I’m holistically pro-life,' or 'I’m womb to tomb pro-life,’ which really just means that they’re for like liberal immigration law, they’re against the death penalty, but they’re for abortion,” Stuckey adds.

“The redefinition of pro-life has been a war that’s been waging for probably over a decade now,” Gruber agrees. “It’s been progressives who call themselves Christians and act full-blown, anti-God, atheist, materialist progressives who have seeked to influence people like David Platt, Matt Chandler, Russell Moore, Lecrae, Jackie Hill Perry, T.D. Jakes — shall I continue?”

These progressives have been able to influence people through the twisting the word of God, which has manifested in ways other than abortion.

“You got to take the jab, because you know, you don’t want people to die, love your neighbor,” Gruber mocks, adding that “what they’ve done is they’ve defined pro-life from the protection of life in the womb to the allegedly quality of life outside the womb.”

This, Gruber says, has been pushed by Russell Moore, who used to be at the ERLC. The ERLC is the political arm of the largest Protestant denomination in the country. He’s now the editor in chief of Christianity Today.

“A lot of these people,” Gruber explains, “have done a lot to influence believers to accept this new redefinition of pro-life. And so, he who fights everywhere fights nowhere. So if now to be pro-life means that I’ve got to do all this other stuff that allegedly improves quality of life outside the womb, then how the heck am I supposed to ever end the killing of babies in the womb?”

“It’s very important for us to be clear and push back on what pro-life actually means, and so I have lost a lot of friends and I’ve watched a lot of people capitulate over the last few years because they’ve accepted this new redefinition,” he adds.

WATCH: Woke church celebrates queer youth — ‘You are queer enough as you are’ — and then invokes the ‘queer ancestors’?!

As the woke mob grows ever louder and crazier, some Western churches are bending the knee and embracing values contrary to biblical principles, especially when those values earn them the checkmark of approval from the LGBTQ+ community.

Pat Gray and the “Unleashed” team turn their gaze toward the Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Carlsbad, California, where at a recent service, a “call to worship” involved rejecting all messages that spoke against the LGBTQ+ agenda.

WATCH: Woke Churches Abandon Faith for 'Pride' in BLASPHEMOUS Displayyoutu.be

Pat plays the clip of an adult church official and a child assistant standing in front of a rainbow Pride flag while reading the following blasphemous creed to the congregation:

Officiant: “In the image of God, You created everything and called it good.”

Child: “In abundant diversity, Your likeness is found in us.”

Officiant: “We reject all messages that belittle or degrade any among us.”

Child: “And so in faithfulness to God and one another we proclaim: Sacred are our bodies of every size and disability. Blessed are our sexualities, throwing us towards love of many kinds.”

Unsurprisingly, the creed also touched on gender and race.

“[God] created your body, so do whatever you want with it,” mocks Pat, who’s disgusted by the sacrilegious display.

In the same service, another pair got up on stage and proclaimed: “Help us mirror to one another that you are a God who makes no mistakes.”

Pat sees a glaring inconsistency.

“Right! He’s a God who makes no mistakes. ... If you’re a man, you’re a man; if you’re a woman, you’re a woman. He didn’t make a mistake, so what is the deal here?”

“For queer youth — you are beautiful and wonderfully made as you are. You are queer enough as you are. Your journey to discover who you are in your queerness is a gift to bear witness to and worthy of celebration. Keep going. Keep embracing yourself as you are in bloom. You are enough as you are, and you are a yes to God — always,” the duo continued.

If that wasn’t weird enough, the “queer ancestors” were addressed next.

“For queer ancestors — thank you for your relentless resistance so that advocacy, love, care, and justice could be manifested and continued in this moment.”

Unfortunately, this blasphemous madness isn’t isolated to the Pilgrim United Church. It’s something that is becoming quite common. To see what other woke churches are promoting, watch the clip above.

Texas church is helping shuttle children seeking puberty blockers and sex-change mutilations to blue states

A woke church in Fort Worth, Texas, is working to ensure that Republican legislation won't stand in the way of confused children undergoing irreversible genital mutilations and/or receiving sterilizing pharmaceuticals.

The Galileo Church in Fort Worth makes clear on its website — where God is referred to as "our Mother-Father" and parishioners are called "co-conspirators" — precisely what places first among its priorities: "We do justice for LGBTQ+ humans, and support the people who love them."

Despite recognizing that parishioners are "made imago Dei – in the very image of God," the Galileo Church appears keen on supporting works of ungodly iconoclasm.

This summer, Galileo, which has previously accused Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick of being a "terrorist," founded the North Texas TRANS-portation Network in response to Texas Republicans' successful passage of SB14, ratified by Gov. Greg Abbott in June.

TheBlaze previously reported that prohibited procedures under the law are those "for the purpose of transitioning a child’s biological sex as determined by the sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous profiles of the child or affirming the child’s perception of the child’s sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex."

The NTTN, a so-called "integrated auxiliary ministry," provides travel grants to North Texas families seeking to bus their children off to receive irreversible procedures and devastating drugs.

According to the NTTN page, "withholding necessary care for trans kids is state-sponsored cruelty. As neighbors to one another, we seek ways to help each other's families flourish."

A study published Sept. 19, 2022, in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy revealed that the puberty blockers NTTN grantees might receive at their destinations won't afford them the opportunity to flourish. Instead, luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonists, "licensed to chemically castrate men," will instead sterilize patients, deplete their bone density, hamper their cognitive development, and wreak havoc on their emotional states.

The money raised for NTTN grants, 100% of which apparently goes to applicants, derives from private sources.

The Pink Times, an LGBT activist blog, noted that the $1,000 grant does not require applicants to be involved in church activities or adhere to any specific religious beliefs. The organization requires, however, that applicants come from one of the 19 counties composing North Texas.

Cynthia Daniels, the executive director of the NTTN, told CBS News Texas, "I'm a mother, I have three kids so and I have always been able to get the health care for my kids that they desperately needed. So to me it's just being a good neighbor to a group of people who have been selected to not be able to receive their health care, and to me that's devastating."

Galileo's lead evangelist Katie Hays said, "They're hurt by the rejection of the neighbors; they really feel alone and like Texas does not have their back."

As of Sept. 20, the outfit had reportedly received two applications and raised enough funds to victimize one family's child.

The denomination to which Galileo belongs, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), appears to be big on LGBT activism, having issued a joint pastoral letter in May denouncing those laws across the nation now protecting children from confusion-affirming medical interventions.

"Trans youth and their families deserve the human dignity to seek medical care and build lives of joy and thriving," said the letter. "As leaders across the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we encourage the church not only to take increased steps towards education, welcome and cultivating trust but to consider the ways in which the church can be a force for wholeness in communities across the United States, decrying violence and encouraging the full inclusivity and thriving of all of God’s beloved children."
