Palestinian terrorists murder old woman and run over several school children in central Israel

An elderly woman is dead, and at least 17 people, including several school children, are wounded after a pair of Palestinian terrorists went on a rampage Monday in central Israel.

Two Palestinians illegally in Ra'anana, an Israeli city north of Tel Aviv, launched the attack around 1:30 p.m. just as schools were letting out. The terrorists violently hijacked three vehicles over the course of their rampage, in one instance slicing up a female driver.

With the stolen vehicles, the Palestinians launched multiple attacks across Ra'anana, running over several children and killing 79-year-old Edna Bluestein, reported the Jerusalem Post.

A witness told Haaretz that she saw "someone stab people near the mall. [The attacker] stole a car and ran over other people."

"Another person was with me, noticed the situation and shouted 'an attack, an attack'. After that, I saw the terrorist. I saw him stabbing a man around 60 years old. The man fell and the terrorist ran away," said witness Eden Alfi.

After repeatedly swapping hijacked vehicles, Mahmoud Zidat, 44, and Ahmed Zidat, 24, of Bani Na'im ultimately crashed and were arrested by police. Mahmoud Zidat reportedly worked illegally at a car wash in the city and has been living in Ra'anana with Ahmed, his cousin.

Following the terrorists' capture, Israeli police indicated central district police officers were sweeping "the attack scenes and its surroundings to ensure no further threats."

Central District Police Chief Avi Biton said, "This was a very grave terror attack," reported the Daily Mail.

"They went out together and in parallel, to two different locations, took two cars and launched a series of rammings," added Biton.

One of the attackers allegedly told the Shin Bet that "when the war in Gaza started," they "decided to carry out an attack and become martyrs... Initially, we intended to stab Jews, but then we decided to run over as many Jews as possible," reported the Times of Israel.

The Magen David Adom emergency services initially indicated that two males, ages 34 and 16, were in "serious condition with head and limb injuries"; another eight victims were in moderate condition; and three were in mild condition. However, Haaretz later revealed that three individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, were in serious condition and that 14 victims, including six children, were left in light to moderate condition.

The victims were taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, and the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Fourteen of the victims remained hospitalized as of Monday evening.

The Post reported that Hamas has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Hamas called the terror attacks "a natural response to the massacres of the Nazi occupation and its continued aggression against our Palestinian people."

The terror group also implored "revolutionary youth throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem" to "escalate the struggle and revolution" until Palestine is established where Israel once stood.

Footage taken by a passerby shows one of the badly damaged vehicles, ostensibly used by the terrorists, on the sidewalk near a motionless body.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew said in a statement, "I condemn the brutal terrorist attacks today in Ra'anana that led to at least one dead and scores wounded, including children. I offer my deepest condolences to the family mourning the loss of their loved one and wishing a quick recovery to those wounded."

Palestinian terrorists open fire on civilians at Israeli bus stop, killing 3 and injuring 16 after extension of 'ceasefire'

A pair of Palestinian terrorists from East Jerusalem pulled up to a bus stop during rush hour Thursday morning and opened fire on a crowd of civilians. The two murdered three and injured 16 before being put down by a pair of off-duty soldiers and a nearby armed civilian.

The shooting came within hours of confirmation from the IDF and Qatari officials that the ceasefire urged by Western leftists between Hamas and Israel had been extended.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on X, "The quick reaction of two fighters and a civilian who eliminated the terrorists prevented an even more serious attack. I salute them."

Netanyahu indicated the Israeli government would "continued expanding the distribution of weapons to citizens," a measure he suggested "proves itself time and time again in the war against murderous terrorism."

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who stressed after the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks that Israel would work to ease gun laws in hopes of arming "as many citizens as possible," said, "This event proves again how we must not show weakness, that we must speak to Hamas only through the (rifle) scopes, only through the war."

According to police, the terrorists, brothers in their 30s from the Zur Baher neighborhood in East Jerusalem, pulled up to the bus stop Thursday "armed with an M-16 rifle and a handgun," reported Reuters.

Three among the injured are reportedly in serious condition, and the other victims suffered "various degrees of injuries," said police.

Surveillance footage of the attack shows the terrorists pull up to the bus stop in an off-white car and rush out of the vehicle with guns raised. They immediately begin firing into a dense crowd. The Israeli civilians begin running for their lives as the terrorists give chase.

After apparently exhausting their munitions, the terrorists attempt to return to their vehicle — but it's clear from their efforts to duck and weave that the cavalry has arrived.

An individual bolts across the street with his gun drawn, ostensibly riddling the would-be getaway driver with bullets. Meanwhile, off-duty soldiers emerge from the bus stop, dispatching the second terrorist.

It appears the hero who crossed the street to intervene was nearly mistaken for one of the gunmen, but he manages to quickly identify himself.

Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli war Cabinet, wrote on X, "This attack is further proof of our commitment to continue the fight with strength and determination against the murderous terrorism that threatens our citizens. In Jerusalem, Gaza, Yosh and everywhere."

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was visiting Israel Thursday, said the shooting was a reminder "of the threat from terrorism that Israel and Israelis face every single day."

The Israeli military indicated that one of its checkpoints in the Jordan Valley area was attacked Thursday morning. The terrorist reportedly rammed IDF soldiers with a vehicle but was "shot and neutralized" before being able to inflict lethal damage, reported the BBC.

How Promising NATO Membership To Ukraine Could Lead To World War III

America and its NATO allies must make permanently ending the war their priority and abandon the offer to admit Ukraine as a member.

Foreign Policy Blob Starts To Admit A Ukraine Ceasefire Is Inevitable

These ideas are stunning heresy from gurus of a foreign policy establishment that refuses to consider any outcome for the Ukraine war short of a complete Russian withdrawal.
