Texas Democratic Convention featured speaker is 'big t**s' drag queen story hour performer pushing hormone blockers to trans youth

The Texas Democratic Convention was held in El Paso and ended on Saturday. The convention featured speakers such as transgender activist Charlotte Clymer, gun control activist David Hogg, and "full-time" drag queen Brigitte Bandit.

Bandit – who hosts a drag show titled "Big T**s Bigger Dreams" and promotes the "Big D***s Bigger Dreams" drag show – declared to have "worked with children for over a decade" at the Texas Democratic Convention.

Bandit – who regularly posts sexually explicit photos on Instagramhas hosted several drag queen story hours for children, read to kids at a face-painting drag story hour with arts and crafts at the so-called all-ages "Family Dragtivity Day" in Austin, and is seen on video performing a show in front of several very young children.

Bandit argued that children are safer at a drag queen story hour than at their own schools.

Bandit – a biological male – spoke about the necessity for hormone blockers for trans youth at the three-day convention.

"Hormone blockers that are medically necessary for more than just trans youth," Bandit said. "Gender-affirming care is life-saving. We have a duty to protect our most marginalized communities. Trans kids deserve to grow into healthy adults."

Bandit concluded, "Free Palestine, long live Texas drag, protect trans kids, and happy Pride Month, everybody."

Bandit sued the state over Texas Senate Bill 12, legislation attempting to protect children from sexually oriented performances on public property. The bill was ultimately shot down by a federal judge in September and deemed to be "unconstitutionally overbroad and vague," according to the Texas Tribune.

Bandit reacted to the bill's demise by leading the crowd at a drag queen showcase in a chant against Republicans: "F*** Ted Cruz! F*** Greg Abbott! Trans Texans belong here! Drag queens belong here!"

In a 2023 profile by the Austin Chronicle, Bandit told the outlet, "I remember as a kid really struggling to learn the gender binary. I really struggled with understanding, like, okay, who's a boy and who's a girl? I remember the very first time I saw a butch lesbian – it blew my mind, it blew my mind! I think I've always understood that gender is something that's taught."

Bandit told the outlet about working with children since the age of 15.

"I've just been around kids in different ways throughout my life. It's comfortable for me. It's natural. I've always liked it," Bandit said.

Bandit's first performed in a drag show at age 26.

Bandit wears a breastplate for the onstage identity, and stated, "I have these big fake t***ies and I do outrageous stuff – just campy, goofy, big, colorful s**t."

'I will never give up my guns': Gun control activist David Hogg questioned by Chinese immigrant about tyranny

A New Hampshire congressional candidate confronted gun control activist David Hogg and declared she would not be giving up her firearms because there is no guarantee that the United States could not fall into tyranny.

Lily Tang Williams, a congressional candidate in New Hampshire, attended a gun control debate at nearby Dartmouth College.

Tang Williams is adamantly pro-gun since emigrating from communist China and noted on her platform that she grew up under Mao Zedong.

During the question period of the event, the candidate approached the audience microphone to question Hogg.

"Hi, my name is Lily Tang Williams. Welcome to my 'live free or die' state," she began.

"Actually, I am a Chinese immigrant who survived communism, and under Mao, you know, 40 million people were starving to death after he sold communism to them. And 20 million people died ... murdered during his Cultural Revolution," she continued.

She then specifically addressed Hogg: "So, my question to you, David, is that can you guarantee me, a gun owner, tonight, our government in the U.S., in D.C., will never, never become a tyrannical government? Can you guarantee that to me?"

"There’s no way I can ever guarantee that any government will not be tyrannical," Hogg replied.

"Well, then the debate on gun control is over, because I will never give up my guns. Never, never. And you should go to China to see how gun control works for the dictatorship of the CCP."

Hogg has been a gun control activist since the 2018 Parkland, Florida, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where he was a student. Hogg debated against Spike Cohen about the correlation between gun ownership and gun deaths/violent crime.

Cohen showcased data from several sources that refuted the idea that guns automatically result in more crime, stating that there are many countries with higher murder rates despite having fewer guns per person than the United States. The nonprofit CEO also cited an overall increase in suicide as the predominant factor for any increases in gun deaths.

"It’s the guns," Hogg retorted. "I wish I had my own printout of graphs" that showed "the relationship between the rate of firearm ownership and the gun homicide rate, even putting aside the suicides. There is a pretty strong correlation with all these developed countries," he continued.

"If you look at the countries that have the highest rate of gun violence, they also have poverty, they also have systemic racism, they also have all these other forms of systemic injustice that I agree that we need to address. But the reality is it is far harder for what happened in Parkland to happen in Switzerland or in the U.K. or in almost any other highly developed country than it was in the United States," the 23-year-old added.

Along with gun control, Republican candidate Tang Williams has warned about the indoctrination of children against their parents and the division of society as steps toward a communist dictatorship in the United States.

"I grew up under Mao’s cultural revolution in China and fled communism for the freedom of the United States," Tang Williams wrote on her website.

"I fear that the country I love is becoming like the country I left. That is why I am running for Congress. It is time for the majority to speak up and defend our country from the radical left and keep the American dream alive for our children."

Attention Hogg Blows Nearly Half His PAC’s Donor Dollars On Nonsense Like DoorDash And Marc Elias

David Hogg, the little prince of gun control, launched a new PAC last year to elect leftists. Where's the money going?

Gun control advocates, Dems turn on New Mexico governor over 'clearly unconstitutional' gun rights suspension

Even prominent gun control proponents are criticizing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's seemingly unconstitutional temporary ban on firearms.

The Democratic governor ignited a firestorm of controversy last week when she unilaterally suspended open and concealed carry laws for 30 days in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Despite admitting that she knows criminals will not abide by the order, Lujan Grisham justified it under the guise of "public health."

Typically, gun control proponents applaud efforts to regulate firearms further. But in this case, Lujan Grisham managed to upset even them.

"I support gun safety laws. However, this order from the Governor of New Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution. No state in the union can suspend the federal Constitution. There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution," Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) responded.

David Hogg, a survivor of the Parkland high school massacre who advocates to pass gun control laws, agreed with Lieu.

"I support gun safety but there is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution," Hogg said.

— (@)

Not only are nationally known gun control proponents objecting to Lujan Grisham's order, but local officials oppose it and local law enforcement said they won't enforce it. That includes Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller, and Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina. Bregman and Keller are Democrats.

"As an officer of the court, I cannot and will not enforce something that is clearly unconstitutional," Bregman said. "This office will continue to focus on criminals of any age that use guns in the commission of a crime."

Gun rights advocates gathered in Old Town Albuquerque on Sunday and openly defied Lujan Grisham's order. No one was arrested, and it appeared her order was not enforced. The National Association for Gun Rights has also filed a lawsuit in federal court challenging the order. The governor said she is prepared to defend it in court.

Meanwhile, state lawmakers are threatening to initiate impeachment proceedings against Lujan Grisham, explaining that their oath to defend the Constitution demands they act to stop a governor who is "subverting the state and federal constitutions and laws of our state."

'The right wing bias of corporate media is nuts': Gun control advocate David Hogg raises eyebrows with his take on the media

Outspoken gun-control advocate David Hogg raised eyebrows on Wednesday by claiming that the media has a "right wing bias."

"If Biden did what Mitch did today the media would be covering non stop for the next two weeks. But because it’s a Republican it’s like nothing ever happened. The right wing bias of corporate media is nuts," Hogg tweeted.

Hogg was referring to the bizarre episode in which Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) stopped speaking mid-sentence on Wednesday and then proceeded to stand silently at a podium.

"Seek help," BlazeTV host Dave Rubin wrote in response to Hogg's comments about the media.

"This tweet should be in the Smithsonian. There has never been a more democrat post in history. The lack of awareness, the lack of shame, the double standard, the absolutely insanity and soy induced frail boy b****iness. Amazing. Absolute 10/10," Rosanne Barr tweeted.

"It takes real talent to be this dumb," Ned Ryun wrote.

"This parody account has me in stitches!!" Dean Cain tweeted.

"Once again, the left shows absolute cognitive dissonance. These people are brainwashed. It's so bizarre," Matthew Marsden wrote.

In another post, Hogg claimed that the media is not opposed to former President Donald Trump.

"I know trump always says the media is against him but the irony is they aren't. They actually desperately need a disaster of a president like him to boost their ratings," Hogg tweeted.

— (@)

Leftist media figure Mehdi Hasan recently suggested imagining that the left had a "propaganda arm" targeting Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

"Imagine if liberals or the Dems had a nationwide messaging apparatus, an actual propaganda arm, which pumped out Jared Kushner’s name and alleged misdeeds daily, 100s of times," Hasan wrote. "Then you start to understand the messaging imbalance in this country & how GOP gets away with so much."

Hasan was making the comments in response to a post in which Aaron Rupar had written, "Hunter Biden has already been mentioned at least 104 times *this morning* on Fox News and Fox Business, according to a transcript search. It's not 10am eastern yet."

'Hell, if you're that bad of a shot you're safer with a baseball bat': David Hogg argues that gun owners shouldn't need more than 10 rounds per magazine

Gun control activist David Hogg has suggested that 10 rounds per magazine should be sufficient for gun owners.

"If you need more than 10 rounds to hit something you need more range time or you need glasses, not a larger magazine. Hell, if you're that bad of a shot you're safer with a baseball bat because a gun will probably be turned on you. Especially if you are shooting a rifle and you can't hit what you are aiming for in 10 rounds you need to check your sights, check your eye dominance, and/or improve trigger pull. 30 round mags are for two two [sic] things, war and people who don't know how to shoot," Hogg tweeted.

Hogg shared a photo of how he had performed when shooting at a target.

"Even with zero training I could shoot a pretty tight grouping at 20 yards. Just look. You don't need 30 round mags. If you can't stop whatever you need to with 10 7.62 rounds. You got bigger problems," he wrote. "I did this well with zero experience shooting semi auto rifles. Surely you can be a better shot than David Hogg," he noted. Hogg also said that he had been on a college shooting team and that he participates in skeet shooting.

— (@)

People pushed back against the suggestion that 10-round magazines should be sufficient.

"What if there's multiple assailants? What if they have armor on? The adrenaline running thru your body will cause your fine motor skills to become less effective. Shooting a paper target with all the time in the world and no bullets whizzing past you or striking you, are totally different things. But you are a Harvard grad, so you must be intellectually superior," one person wrote.

"What if there are multiple somethings? Sit down. You don't know what you’re talking about. Not all self defense scenarios are 1v1," someone else wrote.

Hogg said that if someone was being attacked by more than 10 assailants they could reload, but if they're facing that many hostiles they "have bigger problems."

"It's crazy to me the main arguments I have seen against banning magazines with more than 10 rounds are: 1. What if there are more than 10 people you need to defend yourself from. To that I would say you can reload and also if you got more that 10 people coming for you have bigger problems. 2. People want high capacity magazines to fight a hypothetical tyrannical government. (So they want these magazines to kill government officials and law enforcement that's also known as treason) 3. Freedom- that they don't care if there's little justified reason to own a magazine with more than 10 rounds and that it’s the choice of mass shooters- it's their right," Hogg tweeted.

Hogg was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 in Parkland, Florida, when a shooter perpetrated an attack there.

"Meanwhile out here in reality," Hogg continued, "Magazines with more that 10 rounds are the choice of mass shooters because it enables them to keep killing people with out needing to reload as much. If the shooter at my high school had a smaller magazine it's more likely a by stander could have stopped him as he was reloading. But instead the Florida state government believes his 'right' to a high capacity magazine as a 19 year old is worth more than keeping kids safe in school," he wrote.

Gun control activist David Hogg calls Sen. Marsha Blackburn a piece of 's***' who has 'enabled the slaughter of our children'

Gun control activist David Hogg has referred to Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee as a piece of "s***" and claimed that she has "enabled the slaughter of our children."

"Our nation needs to stand up to Communist China now more than ever," Blackburn tweeted on Monday.

"Our nation needs to stand up to pieces of s*** like you who have gotten far more kids killed in America than China ever has. There is blood on your hands," Hogg replied. "Whatever poor intern wrote this needs to understand you are complicit too in the slaughter of our children by working for Marsha. Quit," he added in another tweet.

“@MarshaBlackburn Our nation needs to stand up to pieces of shit like you who have gotten far more kids killed in America than China ever has. There is blood on your hands.”
— Sen. Marsha Blackburn (@Sen. Marsha Blackburn) 1681169998

Hogg also pounced on Tuesday after Blackburn issued an innocuous tweet that simply said, "God bless the USA."

"May God bless us by waking up the American people to nra puppets like you who have enabled the slaughter of our children," Hogg replied.

A shooter perpetrated an attack at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday, killing five and wounding others. When GOP Sen. Rick Scott of Florida noted that his friend was one of the people killed, Hogg claimed that the lawmaker was "complicit."

"My friend Tommy Elliott was killed today in Louisville. He was my banker for many years. This news is very shocking and sad for Ann and me. He did so much in the Louisville community, and we pray for his family during this awful time," Scott tweeted.

"Must be tough knowing you’re complicit," Hogg replied. In a tweet on Tuesday, he wrote, "Rick Scott as one of the most powerful people in the country has not passed a single thing in the senate to reduce gun violence. I'm sorry for your loss but is protecting easy access to weapons like the AR-15 really worth the cost?"

Gun control proponents pounce on Republican senator after Nashville shooting

Leftists pounced on GOP Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee after the lawmaker issued a statement reacting to the deadly school shooting perpetrated at a Christian school in Nashville on Monday.

The shooter, who killed three children and three adults at The Covenant School, was fatally shot by police.

"Chuck & I are heartbroken to hear about the shooting at Covenant School in Nashville," Blackburn tweeted. "My office is in contact with federal, state, & local officials, & we stand ready to assist. Thank you to the first responders working on site. Please join us in prayer for those affected."

California Gov. Gavin Newsom responded to Blackburn's post by calling on the senator to approve "commonsense gun laws."

"You received $1,306,130 in donations from the NRA. You voted against the most recent bipartisan gun package in June. If you're so 'ready to assist' -- start by doing your job and passing commonsense gun laws that will help prevent tragedies like the one today," Newsom tweeted.

Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez of California claimed that Blackburn does not care about doing anything to protect children, tweeting, "0. That's how many f— you give when it comes to actually doing something to protect our kids."

“Hey @MarshaBlackburn here are some numbers for you:

$1,306,130. That’s how much money you received from the NRA.

129. That’s how many mass shootings there have been this year.

0. That’s how many f— you give when it comes to actually doing something to protect our kids.”
— Rep. Jimmy Gomez (@Rep. Jimmy Gomez) 1679959837

Gun control activist David Hogg, who was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, when a mass shooting was perpetrated there in 2018, suggested that Blackburn and others have enabled school shootings to occur.

"Let me re write that for you. Chuck & I are heartbroken to hear about the shooting at Covenant School in Nashville that was enabled by NRA puppets like me who are willing to let kids be f[***]ing slaughtered so long as the NRA continues giving me millions," Hogg replied to Blackburn's post.

Blackburn is calling for increased security at schools to protect students.

“We must take steps to protect our children by increasing the number of school safety officers.”

Gun control activist David Hogg believes the 2nd Amendment was never intended to be 'an individual right'

Gun control activist David Hogg has said that he thinks the Second Amendment was not intended to be "an individual right" but that it "has been intentionally misinterpreted."

The text of the Second Amendment states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

"After reading about the history of the second amend and talking with a lot of hist & law professors- I believe the second amendment has been intentionally misinterpreted. It was never meant as an individual right it was created to protect state militias like the national guard," Hogg wrote.

"It says well regulated militia for a reason. The 'shall not be infringed' part means the federal government is not allowed to forcibly disarm state militias. I’m not alone in this interpretation. Over 100 years of jurisprudence back me up on this," he claimed. "To those who don’t agree that’s fine- you are entitled to your own opinion and I’m still ready to work with you on what we can agree on. Disagreement and hatred are not the same thing," he added.

“It says well regulated militia for a reason. The “shall not be infringed” part means the federal government is not allowed to forcibly disarm state militias. I’m not alone in this interpretation. Over 100 years of jurisprudence back me up on this.”
— David Hogg ☮️ (@David Hogg ☮️) 1676833282

"Our unregulated militia prevented us from insuring domestic tranquility and promoting the general welfare of our children and citizens. This has prevented us from securing Blessings of Liberty the founders set out to protect in writing our constitution," he wrote in another post.

Hogg was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, when a mass shooting was perpetrated at that school in 2018.

Last week, Hogg hailed Michigan state Rep. Ranjeev Puri, a Democrat who said, "F*** your thoughts and prayers," in a statement about the Michigan State University shooting carried out earlier this month.

"Thoughts and prayers without action and change are meaningless. Our office will continue to work tirelessly to pass common sense gun reform immediately. We will not stop until our students can attend school without fear, our communities can attend places of worship in peace, and our society is safe from senseless gun violence," Puri said.

"We need more politicians like this," Hogg tweeted.
