Here's what's POSITIVE about the Gadsden flag school scandal

Conservatives across the country are infuriated by the recent incident at The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs, where Jaiden Rodriguez, a seventh-grade student, was told by the administration that he must remove the Gadsden flag patch on his backpack, as it was associated with slavery and therefore racist.

Obviously, the situation is outrageous, as the Gadsden flag is tied to the Revolutionary War and British tyranny and not slavery in any capacity. It also exemplifies the ever-expanding definition of racism as well as the censorship and virtue-signaling that’s unfortunately come to define the country.

However, Glenn Beck sees the silver lining.

For starters, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, an organization Glenn has always been at odds with, ruled that “it's not a racist symbol,” and “even the governor of Colorado — a Democrat — said the Gadsden flag is a proud symbol of American Revolution and an iconic warning to Britain or any government not to violate the Liberties of Americans,” he says.

But what Glenn finds most encouraging is how Jaiden Rodriguez has handled this difficult situation.

“I love this kid,” says Glenn. “He knows what he’s talking about.”

“He’s back in school with the flag on his backpack today,” Glenn says, which is largely the result of Jaiden and his mother refusing to be bullied into submission.

Perhaps this situation hints that people have had enough of leftist policies and are finally taking a stand.

Glenn Beck's TOP 3 reasons the GOP House speaker chaos was GREAT for America

On today's program, despite what Democrats (and even some Republicans) may say, the chaos that ensued last week over the GOP's pick for House speaker was great for America. Why? Because by pushing back against Kevin McCarthy's nomination for the role, Freedom Caucus members ensured several huge wins for House Republicans. Glenn lists those wins in this clip — like a 72-hour reading period on all bills presented to Congress and an upcoming vote on term limits. "This is our government," Glenn said, adding that he wanted to see what the government does. Thanks to the chaos in the people's house, Republicans received a commitment for a committee to study potential FBI abuses against the American public. Thanks to the House Freedom Caucus, Glenn says, "America: you won."

RELEASED: Andrew Cuomo harassment REPORT details Cuomo's awful behavior

The long-awaited New York Attorney General's report on the sexual harassment allegations against Gov. Andrew Cuomo is out — and it is bad for Cuomo. The Democratic AG concluded that the Governor did sexually harass multiple women during his time in office.

On Tuesday's radio program, Glenn Beck questioned is the AG's report would be enough for Democrats to condemn him and call for his resignation? This is what the #MeToo movement was started for, Glenn noted, if Gov. Cuomo doesn't resign quickly, that says a whole lot about today's Democratic Party. 'Woke' Olympic athletes are not brave — BUT this Olympic gold medalist is

On Monday's radio program, Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere were joined by Pat Gray to discuss "woke" Olympic athletes.

In this clip, the guys discussed how "bravely" some athletes are for threatening to protest the national anthem, for twerking on stage, and for showing off how woke they are.

Glenn reminded America of actual bravery at the Olympics when Jesse Owens won the gold medal at the Berlin Olympics. "He [Owens] was oppressed," Glenn said.

Bill O'Reilly predicts that this is what DOOMS Biden's reelection chances

Political commentator Bill O'Reilly joined the Glenn Beck radio program on Friday made an important prediction about President Joe Biden's chance of reelection in 2024.

O'Reilly told Glenn that former President Donald Trump was brought down because of COVID. "if COVID had not appeared, O'Reilly stated, "he [Trump] would have won reelection."

O'Reilly went on to predict that like Trump, President Joe Biden would lose reelection because of COVID. People saw a president who could not put out an intelligent fact-based message about COVID and people will remember that," he explained.

O'Reilly later added that "Trump and Biden are one-termers because of COVID."

'We are the Alamo, we will stand': As calls for censorship get louder, Glenn Beck urges Americans to stand together

As calls for censorship and restrictions against conservative voices get louder, Glenn Beck said he feels an "awesome responsibility" to speak, not the words he'd personally like to say, but those he believes the Lord would want him to share.

"It's an awesome responsibility, and one that I am not worthy of," Glenn said. "I want to say ... what He wants me to say. And I have to listen very carefully, because I feel the same way you do. But that will get us nowhere."

Glenn said it's time for Americans who are awake — not woke — to come together, no matter which side of the political aisle you're on, and stand with the truth.

"We are the Alamo, we will stand. But we desperately, desperately need you," Glenn said. "We need the people who are awake — not woke — awake. You may disagree with us. We are your allies, not your enemies. And if you will not stand with us in our hour of need, there will be no one left to stand with you in your hour of need. We must all come together, anyone who is awake."

Glenn Beck: Why MLK's pledge of NONVIOLENCE is the key to saving America

Listen to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s pledge of nonviolence and really let it sink in: "Remember always that the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation — not victory."

On the radio program, Glenn Beck shared King's "ten commandments" of nonviolence and the meaning behind the powerful words you may never have noticed before.

"People will say nonviolent resistance is a method of cowards. It is not. It takes more courage to stand there when people are threatening you," Glenn said. "You're not necessarily the one who is going to win. You may lose. But you are standing up with courage for the ideas that you espouse. And the minute you engage in the kind of activity that the other side is engaging in, you discredit the movement. You discredit everything we believe in."

Take MLK's words to heart, America. We must stand with courage, nonviolently, with love for all, and strive for peace and rule of law, not "winning."

Section 230 reform or antitrust laws  — how do we STOP Big Tech censorship?

Conservatives are between a rock and a hard place with Section 230 and Big Tech censorship. We don't want more government regulation, but have we moved beyond the ability of Section 230 reforms to rein in Big Tech's rising power?

Rachel Bovard, Conservative Partnership Institute's senior director of policy, joined the Glenn Beck radio program to give her thoughts and propose a possibly bipartisan alternative: enforcing our existing antitrust laws.

'You have no idea how bad this was': Dan Bongino details behind-the-scenes 'smear campaigns' against Parler

Dan Bongino, host of The Dan Bongino Show, is an investor in Parler — the social media platform that actually believes in free speech. Parler was attacked by Big Tech — namely Amazon, Apple, and Google — earlier this week, but Bongino says the company isn't giving up without a fight. In fact, he says, he's willing to go bankrupt over this one.

Dan joined Glenn Beck on the radio program to detail what he calls a "smear" campaign behind the scenes, and how he believes we can move forward from Big Tech's control.

"You have no idea how bad this was behind the scenes," Dan told Glenn. "I know you're probably thinking ... well, how much worse can the attack on Parler have gotten than three trillion-dollar companies — Amazon, Apple, and Google — all seemingly coordinated to remove your business from the face of the Earth? Well, behind the scenes, it's even worse. I mean, there are smear campaigns, pressure campaigns ... lawyers, bankers, everyone, to get this company ... wiped from the face of the earth. It's incredible."

Dan emphasized that he would not give up without a fight, because what's he's really fighting for is the right to free speech for all Americans, regardless of their political opinions, without fear of being banned, blacklisted, or losing jobs and businesses.

"I will go bankrupt. I will go absolutely destitute before I let this go," he said. "I have had some very scary moments in my life and they put horse blinders on me. I know what matters now. It's not money. It's not houses. It's none of that crap. It's this: the ability to exist in a free country, where you can express your ideas freely."
